🍳🥞 Breakfast Club – A Brunch Spot Worth Returning To
📍 Located at W San Carlos & Meridian
Parking is okay, but it can be a little tricky, especially on weekends when it gets busier. If street parking is full, there’s a garage behind the restaurant with extra spots, so you should still be able to find a place.
🎶☀️ First Impressions
Step inside, and you’re immediately hit with a lively crowd and a perfect brunch vibe. The music was on point—it felt like someone had grabbed our personal playlist and queued it up for the restaurant. My girlfriend and I were absolutely loving it!
🍊 A Must-Try: Fresh-Squeezed OJ
If you come here, you HAVE to order the fresh-squeezed orange juice. Since it’s January, oranges must be in season because this OJ was next-level good—a perfect balance of sweet and citrusy goodness 🍊🤤. If they had free refills, my girlfriend and I would’ve shut them down!
🍽️ Our Orders
👩❤️👨 Her Order: Country Fried Steak
✅ Portion: HUGE—and not just all breading! A thick, juicy cut, fried to crispy perfection with just the right amount of crunch.
✅ Gravy: Savory and well-seasoned, tying everything together perfectly.
✅ Sides: Herb potatoes 🥔 (delicious) and wheat toast 🍞 (more on that later).
👨 My Order: Santa Maria Omelette
✅ Steak: Well-seasoned and cooked to medium well, just as I asked 🥩👌.
✅ Flavor Combo: Steak, cheese, salsa, sour cream, and avocado 🥑🧀—each bite packed with flavor, especially when paired with the herb potatoes.
🍞 The Only Miss? The Wheat Toast
The only thing that didn’t hit the mark was the wheat toast—it came out late and cold, making it less enjoyable. But honestly, that’s such a minor thing compared to how good everything else was.
⭐ Final Thoughts
This spot has quickly become my go-to for brunch, and I get hesitant about trying other places because I always end up comparing them to Breakfast Club 😆.
🔥 Highly recommend for any breakfast/brunch lover! If you’re in the area, this is a must-visit.
