The 10 Best Restaurants In Gatwick Airport

"Perfect for: a feel-good diner if your flight’s been delayed For a serious breakfast-whatever-the-time, The Breakfast Club will do. The veggie full English at the diner-esque spot has some hits (crispy hash browns, earthy mushrooms), and some misses (runny beans, plasticky faux bacon). But for an airport meal, you’ll leave pretty satisfied. From looking around, you’d think pancakes automatically come with the table. But no, the towers with equally tall mounds of cream are just a fan favourite—although you’ll need a real sweet tooth to get through the hefty portion. Nonetheless, if we had a couple of hours to kill, The Breakfast Club—with comfy booths, cushioned bar stools, and vintage-looking TVs—would be our restaurant of choice." - heidi lauth beasley, rianne shlebak, sinead cranna, jake missing, daisy meager

They don’t serve takeout, so you’ll have to sit for a meal. Service can be slow on peak hours but you will be seated immediately. I had the 3 piece fried chicken with fries and coleslaw and it was crunchy. A bit on the oily side but I like my fried chicken that way. The fries were average but it paired well with the chicken. Overall, a decent meal option in the Gatwick North Terminal.

Had a lovely breakfast here before my flight. GT from the front desk was extremely polite, friendly and helpful. He went above and beyond by seating and also serving us as we were waiting a long time for a waiter, even recommending the best food and drink options which were a delicious choice!

Pros: I enjoyed the food. Fast service, in and out in under an hour. Cons: You are expected to order with a table qr code. If your phone is playing up, it might require you to get someone to actually serve you. I had to check to make sure I'd ordered as the app misbehaved. The accent and speed of talk from our greeter meant i had to ask 3 times what he said. It was like a cattle market and i didnt feel valued as a customer. However, please refer to the pros. I'm a 20th century guy, so prefer face to face than qr codes, but their methods certainly get you out quicker, which is what you want in departures. I got my face to face with my little problems. If your younger than a baby boomer i'm sure this place will suit you better. Fyi: "American cheese" is actually a cheese single

Terrible experience! I go to the breakfast club in London Bridge roughly once a month and it’s fantastic from service to the food and I’ve given them a couple of positive review so this branch totally let down the reputation that’s been built through my previous experiences. My food came out burnt, the turkey rashers couldn’t be cut with a knife so I attempted to take a bite from one quickly learning that it would be a risk of chipping a tooth if I continued! Both me and my partner asked for scrambled eggs but were served fried, he was fed up at that point so didn’t send his food back but I did. My drink was not made well at all. I know drinks can be of an acquired taste so I thought it would be best to ask for some sugar syrup to be added, one waitress kindly began taking the drink away and another member of staff instructed her to put it back down on the table and told her to bring the sugar syrup over to me for me to do it myself??????? I suggested it may be better to mix it in a shaker as it is a cocktail but I was ignored and both staff members walked off.

I had an incredible breakfast in the airport. The food was absolutely delicious, and the experience was made even better by Sabin, who provided outstanding service. He was attentive, friendly, and made sure everything was perfect. From start to finish, everything exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend this spot for a great meal before your flight!

Food came out fast. Service was friendly and portions were big. Got the English breakfast and highly recommend one for two people.

Disappointing Experience – Would Not Recommend Stopped at The Breakfast Club at Gatwick expecting a decent meal before my flight – big mistake. While the food arrived almost immediately, it was clearly because it had been sitting out for ages. My meal was soggy, lukewarm, and tasted awful. Completely unappetising. To make matters worse, the service was unfriendly and inattentive. Staff seemed uninterested and the table we were seated at hadn’t been properly cleaned. For a busy airport location, you'd expect basic hygiene and professionalism – neither were on display. I rarely leave reviews, but this one was bad enough to warn others. Save your money and eat elsewhere.
