The Breakfast Club

Came here for breakfast with my partner on 2nd February. We paid roughly £18 each for breakfasts, which is fine we expect to pay this at the airport. The man at the door sat us down and said someone will be over to take our food order. After 10 minutes someone took our order, no greeting they just stood there and said can I take your order. I asked if I could swap the baked beans for mushroom, they said no (that’s fine I’m not fussed, I just don’t particularly like baked beans). The food came up after about 15 minutes, the food was okay, bacon was anaemic and not hot, nor was the sausage or eggs. Now the baked beans were ridiculous - for being one of the cheapest items on that plate if not the cheapest, the portion I received was a joke. I would say approximately about 50g of baked beans if that. At the restaurant I work at, a kids meal gets a bigger portion than that. The best item on that plate was the hash brown - that says it all really. So overall, the food was okay but not hot and they’re tight with their portions. The service was non existent AND they add on a 12.5% service charge and when they bring the bill they already have the card holder in front of you before you get a chance to read the bill properly and they don’t make you aware of this charge. I wouldn’t go here again, I’d rather have a McDonald’s breakfast, even that would have better service than this place.

The food was average and cost too much. Pancakes extremely dry However, the staff Memeber named Andras was above perfection. He held the standards high for customer service. He was the star of the show , constantly checking up on my order and trying to resurrect things.

The food was great! I had a scrambled eggs on a toast and added avocado and bacon with a Latte. My husband got some American pancakes with a latte and it was amazing too. We shared everything! Vanesa was our waiter and she was so nice to us, she did a great job! Totally recommend

Not been here before. There was another breakfast place closer to the stairs but it seems to have been taken over my Sonoma - I wanted something less Californian for breakfast. A big selection on the menu. I went with scrambled eggs and salmon, latte and orange juice. There was perhaps a little too much salt in the eggs for me, especially given smoked salmon is itself cured with salt. But apart from that, a nice breakfast before flying.

They don’t serve takeout, so you’ll have to sit for a meal. Service can be slow on peak hours but you will be seated immediately. I had the 3 piece fried chicken with fries and coleslaw and it was crunchy. A bit on the oily side but I like my fried chicken that way. The fries were average but it paired well with the chicken. Overall, a decent meal option in the Gatwick North Terminal.

Always love a breakfast club so what a treat to see you have one in GATWICK. My server Prince was exceptionally friendly and very attentive. It was refreshing to see a server constantly keeping an eye on the restaurant to ensure everyone was ok. It usually takes at least 10 minutes to get a servers attention in some other establishments. All in all, you did it again! And yes today is going to be a good day thanks to you and Prince. All the staff were exceptionally friendly. Well done x

Was excited to have breakfast here as I have previous enjoyed The breakfast club. I ordered a flat white, which was so burnt I had to send it back and swap for a cup of tea as the lady said it would just be the same if she made another one. The tea came with milk in a little silver jug which was so dirty it had mould on the side of the jug! I put my finger in a scraped a bit off the side. Vile. The food came out in about 2 minutes and was dry and tasteless. The staff were lovely however clearly were not surprised by my complaints. Now I’m left feeling sick and worried I might get ill from the jug. The manager was helpful but I will never eat there again. Gutted I didn’t go to trusty spoons instead.
