THE BREAKFAST SPOT EASTSIDE

What a lovely Sunday morning treat!! Best Salmon Croquettes I have had since Deacon Burton’s closed.(Honestly, better than my mom’s but I did not say that out loud) Staff is fantastic and super friendly. The chicken gravy this morning was over salted but that is an anomaly. Highly recommend The Breakfast Spot. Super affordable, delicious and very pleasant!

The food is always delicious. BUT there are issues with their Uber Eats service/app. I ordered my food at around 7:15am but they do not open until 8am which is something I learned today. So my ordered was delayed then canceled by Uber eats because they could not pick up the order at that time so I re-order my food exactly like I did before and the order included eggs with the buy one get one free chicken, wings, and waffles. NO eggs came with my order and no notification/communication that I could not get them. But they were available while ordering from the app. My recommendation is that someone in leadership go in their app at the store and tweak the details of the menu for delivery and opening times so people do not lose money like I did and have to wait 3 to 5 days for a refund. It’s misleading and I would have loved to get the eggs that I ordered. It’s still a really good breakfast spot but just need some logistical details ironed out. And I’m really disappointed by not getting the eggs cause they really would have made the meal.

This was my 1st time going here and I will be back. Its a bit of a wait if its busy but it was worth it. My fish was seasoned just right. My grits were delicious I can't complain at all. Plus the prices are fair..

This is most definitely a trending breakfast spot , 2day was my first visit from Gwinnett Co, Lville. At 7am or so. The beef bacon ,egg,cheese biscuits are amazing i had to eat slowly took my time, plus I tried the syrup on a plain biscuits had me feeling like I ain't never felt b4 😃😂

Brunt beef bacon Coffee cold with all the grind at the bottom Veggie omelet (2 eggs) no mushrooms like I asked for. And toto top off that the lady at the register was a little upset because I was unhappy with my order. Handed me $2 back for my coffee ( I didn't ask for my money back) I wanted another coffee, and just walk away No thank you I'll send my money elsewhere

So I went here with group from work and for most part they said food was good but the prices is crazy work. I got a biscuit and a 1/3rd of a hot dog(sausage) and payed 7 dollars. 2 eggs is 5$ thats wild. Food is decent but prices is crazy work

I love an affordable breakfast spot because breakfast shouldn’t be $50 for two people! Of course, you feel like you’re waiting on your auntie to make your plate when you order. Loved it! Everything was fresh & hot. Of course I’ll be back 🫶🏾

Real star number: 3.5. They deserve better than 3 stars but less than 4 stars. Time: ordered online - pick up time quoted was 12:00. We got food at 12:35. They started cooking the food when we got there. Taste: The food was average. It definitely was not bad. The pancakes were thick and chewy and pretty good. Grits and eggs were better than waffle house. Chicken wings were small and good (i would go back for the wings...the wings felt home cooked ). Biscuit was mid at best. The service: they were friendly to everyone else. Very much sista girl and auntie vibes. They didn't verbally acknowledge that they were late preparing my meal but they did hustle to get it done. They could have been more welcoming at the start. I was acknowledged by eye contact but was made to wait for conversations to end and asked to step aside so they could talk to people they knew and get doordash orders out.. all the while they never otherwise acknowledged me. I had to advocate for myself by stepping up and saying my name.

The staff was very friendly. As you come inside you go to the counter and order from the large menu posted behind the counter. They have a large variety of breakfast to select from. I ordered a waffle with four whole wings with scrambled eggs. The waffle had a great taste. The wings were tasty as well although they were fried harder than I expected leaving them a slightly darker than I like. I enjoyed it here and can't wait to dine here again.

My coworkers and I popped in here since its close to the office. I enjoyed the salmon cakes; they were fresh and hot. And the bacon was very good. The home fries weren't hot enough for me. They have been open about a month or so. The staff was friendly and polite. Overall I will return and recommend as well. *updated to add they have a rewards program. I came across it when I scanned the bar code on the menu. It may be useful if you order frequently.

My order did not come close to meeting my expectations. The bacon and cheese (which I paid extra for) on my biscuit was barely there and the biscuit fell apart. The chicken wings were really dark like they were re-dropped and therefore overcooked. The potatoes were salty but practically empty. I had more jumbo peppers than I had actual potatoes. Very disappointing all around.

I found this place on DoorDash and decided to give it a try. Let's start with the biscuit, typical biscuit, soft and buttery. I ordered a side of pork chops and they are LIGHTLY seasoned and not too dry but not too juicy. They are okay. Last thing ordered was the 3 wing platter with a side of cheese eggs and grits. Grits were bland. Eggs were scrambled super soft, still runny. And chicken was juicy and seasoned good. Wasn't bad but wasn't good enough for me to want to try again.

I worked security at this place called applause where I met one of the owner's cousins who put me on to The Breakfast Spot Eastside. The food was simply amazing. The environment was very cleans and nice, the staff was kind and friendly, and also the price was very affordable. The service was also fast. I will definitely be back. I recommend the salmon and cheese grits.

Food is always on point! The crab cakes tastes like my Grandma made them, and they always give you enough food to share, that's if you're feeling generous.

So I went here for the first time today 7/20/2025. I went to the gym earlier this morning and last week I got a new membership. I've just been on my water with my meals and any meal I get at a restaurant. I stopped getting soft drinks and I stopped purchasing snack cakes at work or the grocery store. I intended to get the 2 pc whiting initially on the menu I saw that by itself with nothing else down on the right side of the menu. You actually can get it with a meal if you look at the top in the middle of the menu. I'm going to get the 2 pc whiting next time with grits and eggs and a biscuit. This time I saw the 4 PC whole wings with the eggs and a waffle. I couldn't resist just the title alone. The eggs that I got were scrambled to perfection and I added cheese. The whole wings were fried juicy and crispy delicious! The waffle though damn one of the best waffles I ever had in my life with the butter and syrup! Pull up and see for yourself! Breakfast is the most important meal of the day.

Very good food and cooked fresh. Had the chicken wings and waffles twice this week. My coworker loves the bowl with salmon and potatoes.

I stopped by The Breakfast Spot and had THE BOMB fried pork chop sandwich. My belly was really happy. The service was also on point.

Ordered for the first time from The Breakfast Spot Eastside. Placed order online for Chicken & Waffles, a side of grits & a side of chicken gravy. Chicken & waffles came with 3 whole fried wings. They were seasoned well & delicious. The grits were very good. I was glad that they were not salty. The chicken gravy is good but almost too flavorful for my taste buds. I will surely order again from this spot.

The food was simply delicious. The homemade biscuit was crunchy on the edge and fluffy on the inside melted in my mouth! The salmon crochet was crunchy on the outside just like I like it with a debt of flavor and juicy on the inside. I would rate this food a 10 out of 10. The service was pleasant and prompt. The atmosphere felt like I was home for a great experience with family!

The food order was incorrect when finally delivered. I immediately called and was left on hold for 20 minutes. After I spoke with the lady about the order, she said she would have it corrected and resent to our home. It never arrived. Bad service. Did not correct order as promised. No refund. Order was placed through their website with delivery option.

I don't even do these food reviews but boy THIS THE ONE!!!! Way better than gutbuster in my opinion that salmon croquette.... BUSSING! I'm putting ya down man best breakfast spot on the eastside!!!
