We have been coming the The Brick since before 2020. We love their pizza and have always had delicious food off of their menu. The atmosphere can be loud, but it's fun to be in a place with lots of people. The service last night was pretty good. We had to ask for bread for the table from the manager. The waiter didn't offer it. The butter packets had been melted and refrigerated. The bread was warm. I had a nice side salad to start with the house dressing and it was nicely presented with onion slices and grated carrots on top. For dinner, I had the Chicken Florentine. It was supposed to be pan seared chicken with tomatoes and spinach, melted mozzarella in a marinara sauce. I envisioned tomatoes - so you could tell they were tomatoes, maybe diced or sliced or maybe sun dried. There were not any whole or parts of tomaotes. The spinach was probably frozen, and very overcooked, and was hidden under one piece of chicken, maybe 1/2 cup. The chicken breasts were good size, breaded I think, and moist, but smothered in cheese and not very flavorful. The marinara sauce was not good. It didn't have any flavor, no garlic, no herbs, very little salt. My husband had the Panini Parmigiana sandwich. The sauce on it was much richer and had a lot more flavor than what I had. The bread was dry grilled, which was nice because it wasn't oily. The chicken was sliced very thin and there wasn't a lot of mozzarella and so it was a little bit dry. I wasn't offered a second glass or wine, which I would have had, but nobody came over after we were served until the end of the meal. We brought the Chicken Florentine home rather than have it thrown away. I will doctor it up to make it edible. When the waiter came to check on us, and I hadn't eaten much, I told him it wasn't good. He said he would be sure to tell the kitchen. Nobody came to ask about it, and THAT was disappointing.
