A Grown Up Lego-Themed Pop Up Bar Will Bring a Million Tiny Plastic Bricks to LA | Eater LA

"A traveling pop-up bar built around the novelty of being constructed from over one million toy bricks, with a bar and sculptures made from those pieces and individual sets available for patrons who want to build while they drink. Originally launched under a name that directly referenced the toy brand, the project abruptly rebranded after the manufacturer objected to the use of its trademark; organizers added a disclaimer disavowing any association but have faced public scrutiny and legal pressure. Appearances were planned in Montreal, New York, and London with an intended stop in Los Angeles, though exact dates for the LA run remain unclear and organizers have been unresponsive to inquiries." - Mona Holmes

Love the building exposed brick and wood beams....the art work well im sorry was ridiculous and nonsense honestly I get the readon8bg to destroy it but would have been better off melted and made into something useful or attempt to do that then drive an hour and half for that.

Cool MOCA annex - a little hard to reach w/o a car so I took Uber from other MOCA location & bussed back to Union station.
