Can't believe we haven't been to the Brickyard before this weekend! We had a group of 4 and were seated quickly indoors on Saturday at the beginning of dinner rush. We were a little confused on the server situation because we were greeted by/given drinks/placed our order with one server, than another (who was not very friendly) informed us she would be taking over for our server. Both servers continued to wait on our table, and an expo (I'm assuming) brought our food out.
Their drink menu is EXTENSIVE and their bartenders are incredible. The menu is arcade/video game themed! So fun!! All four of us loved our drinks. I had Save the Princess, which is Ketel One peach and orange blossom, Leblon crème de Peche, oregat, lemon, and yuzu. It was so refreshing! Definitely on the sweet side, so it took me a long time to drink it.
For food, we all shared, which is the intent of the tapas-style menu. We had the loaded potatoes, pork banh mi tacos, mini bricks, and lamb chimichangas. The tacos come with three, so we added a fourth so we all could have one. They were SO good. The combination of flavors was perfect. The loaded potatoes were probably my favorite, I could've eaten the whole bowl. The truffle flavor was light enough that it didn't overpower the dish at all. The mini bricks were good, but they kind of reminded me of better-quality big macs. Which is totally fine! I like McDonalds haha. The fries were very average that came with the mini bricks. The lamb chimichangas were the least favorite of our table. The combination of flavors just missed the mark for us.
We also ordered dessert, because why not?? We had the strawberry rhubarb cobbler. It was divine!! It was fresh, and the vanilla ice cream was the perfect complement.
I definitely look forward to coming back again because there were a lot of menu items I still want to try!
