The Brooklyn Spekeasy

Lovely cocktail drinks hidden behind 3 separate doors in an Italian restaurant? Sign me up! Brooklyn Speakeasy is the coziest bar I’ve ever been too, with an open rooftop looking out into the sky. Vibes are very chill, relaxed and not overly loud like most bars. All of our drinks were smooth and balanced, many of them having a seasonal theme. Highly recommend if you want an intimate setting and amazing cocktails.

Really great spot! Super friendly staff and a cool atmosphere. The drinks are fantastic as well. I have to say the choice of pop music was interesting for the ambiance of the room. lol

Tucked behind Enrico’s Italian restaurant. This place is a gem! Craft cocktails, great music and the place is a vibe.

Its so cute! From the outside you would never know. The atmosphere inside was giving sexy Friends(The TV show) vibes. Not sure about the reservation but we just showed up and they let us in. Its a small space but with just enough seating for all the people in there. The bartenders took their time and perfected every drink we ordered. The drinks aren't your typical Sex on the beach or Cosmo and I loved it. I tried some things that puzzled me in a great way. I would recommend this place for couples or small groups of 5 or less.

We had 3 different cocktails and the drinks were excellent. They only have one beer, but it’s a fantastic Mexican artisanal lager. The service was friendly with regular contact and the bartenders and servers know the menu very well. Great space with a section that is open air.

Came back for a second visit and was unexpectedly confronted by a bartender about how I had supposedly been “looking at his boyfriend” during a previous visit. I was genuinely confused, as I hadn’t said anything inappropriate to anyone. The only interaction I had that night was chatting with the bartenders about tips for the city. Being pulled into what felt like imaginary personal drama between staff members was uncomfortable and unprofessional. I chose to leave. Not the kind of atmosphere you expect from a speakeasy.

I did not eat, but they do offer food through the main Italian restaurant that this is connected to. The staff are amazing, especially Aleph. Great vibe. It’s smaller and more intimate so you’ll never have to worry about bumping into other people and can focus on your friends. Highly recommend!
