I went to the Bruery Store in October after receiving a nift coupon. I obviously enjoyed it because I've been there at least 3 times since. I really enjoy their selection and interesting flavors. They have a huge sours section. The staff are very friendly and happy to provide suggestions. They have always complimented my selections, and while they may very well do it for everyone, it still makes me feel good. They make a lot of different flavors that you won't find elsewhere. It's definitely worth a trip. And with the holiday season around us, what better way to show appreciation for a family member or friend with a unique beer from the Bruery story.

Great spot to pickup orders from preservation, reserve and hoarders society membership online orders or as a member of the public shopping for great beer and merchandise. There is now a custom draft system for crowler fills (never seen anything like it). Still no drinking on premises but that may change in the future. The people working there are helpful and efficient so go check it out. Cheers!

These guys know their beer! Just got the Starling Ovation and it is delicious. Get it before it's gone and if it's gone get a 4 pack of Relax. Yum!

I've been a Reserve Society member with the Bruery for a couple years now. I originally stopped in because I tried one of their many sour beers and was excited to try more. However, I then discovered all the great stouts and barleywines they also offer. As a result, we typically have quite the stockpile of beer around the house for any occasion. The staff at this store have always been incredibly friendly and helpful. The one challenge we face whenever we stop in is trying to find parking as more and more construction is completed in the Union Market area.

Super cool store in a hot spot. I first heard about this store from a friend whose son lives in CA. He loves it so much that he has the Invite Only membership. Naturally, I was excited to see that they have a store front in DC and was not disappointed. The Bruery offers a nice variety of beer including my favorite -- sours! Shop has a homey vibe. It looks like an industrial barn with lots of natural lighting, as opposed to a gas station or no-name liquor store. These days, the experience is everything. The two members on staff were the perfect sellers; they gave me my space and didn't make me feel like I was being watched. However, they were quick to answer any questions I had and with some good humor. :) Very knowledgeable about their products and had recommendations ready for anything I threw at them. Considering a membership myself!

Among the best breweries in the country. The shop is a little out of the way and the people there can be a little surly or snobby (depending on the night) but overall, always a great experience.

One of the top US breweries chose DC to have another location. This is amazing! Essential visit for a beer nerd. Every beer is solid, many are epic... all are at no markup from what you pay in CA. The store has dozens of awesome beers that put DC area breweries to shame (except for maybe Adroit). These aren’t your normal Bruery beers as many I had a hard time finding when I lived in CA. There are the normal distributed beers as well as barrel-aged beers that are highly coveted even on the West Coast. I’m in heaven. I almost took a star (or two) off because it doesn’t have any drafts! I can’t blame them for DC laws, but they need to figure this one out. They need drafts and food trucks!!!! If they had some of these beers on tap, the place would be constantly packed. I seriously doubt that the Bruery guys/gals understand how much better their beer is compared to what we have in DC. Cheers!
