The Bull and Beggar

Just wow! Probably one of my all time favorite meals. Stellar service too. We got there for a 530p reservation and we're warmly greeted and seated for our anniversary dinner. We ordered the anchovy toast and onion soup to start with drinks. Both were outstanding! Then came out our meals of Lamb chop and Pork chop and both were outstanding. The sauces, the sides, the everything... Really, really good! Meats were super tender and perfectly done. Against our stomachs being full, we decided to add on desserts and so happy we did. We had the duck egg Carmel which melted in your mouth and the sticky toffee pudding was so flavorful! We left and made plans to quickly return to try something else since the server stated their menu changes frequently. I strongly recommend this place to everyone!

All week I had been looking for a place that accommodated a party of 20 to celebrate my birthday dinner. Every location I called gave me excuses or passes me on to sales to make it a banquet event. I reached out to Drew and with only the first paragraph in his email I wanted to bring all my business there. He was a problem solver and what great customer service looks like. He moved things around, got creative, had the chef create a menu for my guest and hosted us in an area that was private and great for celebrating with friends and family. The food was absolutely delicious. This is the type of place you can tell the chef loves food. Every dish that came out was flavorsome and delicious. Every dish was elevated from whatever you expected to beyond. The team there was friendly and accommodating. Robert took care of our party’s needs. So grateful for this place! Its service, atmosphere and delicious food was perfect for my birthday celebration. Thank you Drew and Robert for making it happen.

We had an incredible dinner at The Bull and Beggar in Asheville. Our group was 16 people celebrating a close friend, and they went above and beyond to accommodate us in every way. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcomed and taken care of, and the entire night exceeded every expectation. A special shout out to our server, Brenda, who was truly exceptional. Managing a large party isn’t easy, but she handled everything with grace, precision, and genuine warmth. She anticipated everything before we even asked and made the night feel effortless. Because of our group size, we arranged a prix fixe menu, and the coordination beforehand was seamless. They walked us through every course option in detail, and the final four course menu was perfect. Every dish from start to finish was thoughtful, beautifully prepared, and absolutely delicious. The ambiance is one of the best parts of The Bull and Beggar, combined with the incredible service and outstanding food, it created one of the most memorable dining experiences we’ve had together. They truly made our celebration special, and we’re grateful for the care and attention they put into our night. Highly recommend this spot to anyone, especially if you’re planning something meaningful. This place is the real deal.

Had an insanely great experience starting from when I walked into the door. The ambiance and smells invite you in. Shannon was our server and she was so pleasant, attentive, and filled with knowledge. We started with the pumpkin toast and there’s just so much flavor it’s hard to describe but it was amazing. Our main was the dry aged ribeye and that was cooked to perfection. The sauce accompanying it was a treat of its own. Also, how is cauliflower so good? We ended with the apple crumble and the bartender made us an amazing bourbon chocolate martini! Didn’t get his name but they were great so thank you!! It was a perfect birthday dinner for my boyfriend!

Bull & Beggar is one of my favorite spots to go spoil myself. Last month, I treated myself to the kohlrabi salad and the hanger steak, sitting alone at the bar. I'm glad no one else was with me, or they would have seen me kicking my feet and getting teary-eyed because of how delicious my meal was! Peter's service was fantastic -- friendly, but not interrupting the meal in any way. He made me an excellent beverage, as well! Loved the atmosphere, the ambient lighting, and getting to watch the kitchen at work. This is my second time getting the kohlrabi, it is so simple and so clean. You can really tell that the menu is designed by people who care about food, and it changes regularly! Any time I've had an issue (only once!), I've spoken with staff and they have courteously corrected. Very impressed by this restaurant and happy to see it thriving post-Helene. It's best to make a reservation, but they do take walk-ins whenever possible.

I am in Asheville for business. My partner back home researched dinner for me and recommended The Bull and Beggar which was seconded by my local business coach. Neither of them were wrong in directing me to this brilliantly delicious meal with the most impeccable service. Greeted at the front with a minute to wait and offered a beverage of Basil, so refreshing. For dinner I chose the Brioche à Tête, the most rich and decadent onion soup, and Steak Frites à poivre, filet, which was truly exquisite. Robin was the most attentive server allowing myself space to enjoy as well an eye out for anything I may have wanted or needed. It was truly an exceptional experience and I cannot wait to return on my next trip.

We made a last minute reservation and sat outside on a cold night. There are heaters and it was very comfortable. The staff was amazing! Very attentive! The drinks were sub par. We tried two different alcoholic beverages each and we're not impressed with any of them. The food was very good. The bone marrow especially was top notch. The steak cut well but was a bit overcooked but not enough to send back. Overall the food quality and service is there but the prices are a little on the high side for what you are getting.

Great atmosphere and some of the friendliest staff. We had the swordfish and a couple of appetizers, the pasta was very good. The food presentation was very good but for this caliber type of restaurant the food was okay. It felt a little bland. Maybe another visit will change my mind. Great cocktails

Ok first off, Robin, give her a raise. Killer service. Knew the menu back and front. Recommended amazing food, SO GOOD. Robin made us laugh and she brought the vibes. Again (SHOUT OUT ROBIN). Totally coming back! NOW! The couple next to us making out. OUT OF CONTROL! Who does that?! Made us feel so awkward and I love to love. Almost called them out. Literally cringe af. I remember my first relationship lmao. I guess thanks for the show and gossip? But, nonetheless, bull and beggar was phenomenal. 10/10.

This was our first time back here since it closed because of Helene. Still excellent! Cocktails are super well made. Oysters on half-price oyster nights are a real draw. The escargot was just about the best I've ever had. I also had steak frites with the haché steak (which is really just a salisbury steak with better cuts of meat). Next time I will order the hanger steak version. Bull and Beggar has such a pleasant atmosphere. Service is absolutely perfect. I just wish the prices were a little lower, especially for the steaks, and that the menu selections were wider.

We had this place recommended to us by an employee at The Radical Hotel just down the street. So glad we did! The food was great! The ambiance was great for date night...low lighting cozy atmosphere. The service was good too.

I was thrilled to see Bull and Beggar reopening after Helene did all of her nonsense in the RAD. Then, I got to be thrilled because I scored a spot at the bar for me and My Lady for Valentine's Day. The feeling in the room was if no stupid hurricane had ever ruined things. The food was as good as ever. The oysters and beef tartare stole the show, but the escargot and the pumpkin risotto made strong cases. The bread was magnificent, which is not something I say lightly. Bread is sacred and it really has to be amazing for me to use the M word. Best of all, the service was perfect - friendly but hands off enough for us to enjoy our time together. Just right. So glad they are back.

Going out of my way to write a review. We were recommended by a local and unfortunately we will not recommend this place. Menu is inaccurate. Food it overly salty and saucy. Not good for special occasions. It's a Monday... like just do better. Inside is better than outside based on my person appeal. Got asked 4 times to take a plate I wanted to keep... I guess no one communicates there. Stated on reso it was my bday no one said a thing. Went elsewhere for dessert bc I wasn't gonna pay anymore money to be further let down.

Forgot to take a photo of the spot, but I think other people captured it well. Tucked away next to the wedge with plenty of parking most nights, this little date night spot is great for friends or partners. We wondered in here around dinner time on a Friday and we're lucky enough to find that there was a spot available. I wouldn't chance it again unless you were flexible because this is certainly a spot that is popular for reservations. We were seated upstairs, which she was a ICU of the people below. The service was wonderful the whole time throughout. I got a lovely glass of Grenache to start. The cocktail, my friend ordered l took quite a while, but it was strong and delicious when it did arrive. I opted for the aubergine and found myself with a gigantic cast-iron of bubbling cheese and vegetables. I could've skipped the green olives on top, but when mixed together it all tasted delicious. Definitely not a place you would go if you're on a budget but a delightful evening splurge for sure. It was a great experience with lovely service and food.

Came here for my boyfriend's birthday and it was delicious! We made a reservation and were seated quickly. Waitress was super Knowledgeable about the wine menu and food recommendations. Overall great experience and will definitely be back!

Let me preface this by saying I am not a foodie particularly, but I am not a Neanderthal either. I ate 2 things at this restaurant- both of which were mostly inedible. The $16 B&B salad had "warm croutons" - 3 of which were the size of the palm of my hand individually (see picture). They were very difficult to eat and were like biting into a salt lick. I had studied the menu prior to going and had planned to get the vincisgrassi for my entree which is described as "lasagna bianco with wild mushroom duxelles, porcini & ragu alla marchigiana". The waitress warned me it was made with organ meat (don't see any of the description that means organ meat on the menu) so can be "gamey"... umm no thank you. Gamey isn't an adjective I suspect most people prefer to describe a lasagna. So I thought I'd go with something safer... aubergine and tomato tian which is basically a $29 vegetable casserole. Again with the massive quantities of salt. I couldn't eat it. The ambiance is lovely although I massively dislike bench seating which puts parties way too close together. I want to be able to tear up privately when I realize I've wasted over $50 on food I can't eat (which I actually did... sorry if that was awkward to staff & patrons nearby...). I used my napkin to dab tears not wipe my mouth since only a few bites entered it. There have been 2 times in my life I couldn't eat food I ordered. This was one. The waitress was as helpful as she could've been although she didn't bring the food or take it away so didn't see I consumed barely a morsel. Just beware that researching the menu may not be helpful to you prior to going, and if you don't like heavily salted dishes that have surprise meats/ingredients in them you may want to choose a safer dining option.

Good food, good service and good ambiance. What more can I say. We were a group of five ladies out for the evening to toast friends; we picked a wonderful restaurant.

Everything about this restaurant is great! The oysters were delicious the escargot was fantastic, and the steak tartare was out this world. I will be definitely to visit this restaurant.

We had heard about this place for a couple of years and finally decided to give it a try - and we were NOT disappointed! For the first round, we had three different types of oysters, all of which were a perfect 5/5. For the second course, we enjoyed the steak tartare. It came as three large mounds on toasted bread and was incredibly creamy. For the 3rd course we had the heirloom tomato & burratta salad. Very fresh. For our entrées, we sampled three different dishes. The Steak Frites was bursting with flavor - simply delicious. The fries were also perfect. The Black Cod was like butter, served with a beautiful bean sauce. Lastly, the Crespelle Florentina was unique and tasty. The service was excellent and very attentive. This restaurant will definitely be on our top 10 Asheville list.

I had the steak frites and the filet was expertly cooked medium. I was very impressed with the seasoning and the cook. Will be back for this steak which is top end of what I've found in Asheville. The parking lot is filled with pot holes and the exterior of the place is not very inviting. Arrived at open and hostess was concerned with my seat at the bar. Reservations may be necessary on prime evenings.

This place has such a cool vibe! Sat upstairs and everything was so good. The carrot app was delicious and so was my meal! Will definitely go back.

The menu and selections for the large party was fantastic. The BA cocktail was so awesome. The seasoning on the char was lovely while the snails were very tasty. Looking forward to dining there again and trying other items off their menu.

Turned up without a reservation and they fitted us in. Peter was an excellent host, funny and personable. Food was outstanding, as was the service. Been to many fancy places and this exceeded a lot of them. In my opinion, definitely worth a visit if you go to Asheville

The owner Drew set us up for my son's engagement dinner February 24th . We had a group of 15 and our service , chefs selection and drinks were impeccable. We love the atmosphere and can't wait to celebrate with you at your location again at our next visit ! Sincerely , Dawn Whitt

Our Farewell dinner in Asheville was at the famous The Bull and the Beggar. Our wait person, Bear made sure that my duck confit was crispy to my obsessive liking! My Partner's pumpkin ricotta and leek pie had flavors that danced off his plate ,right into his mouth. The ambiance was earthy and exquisite . From the moment you walk through the door you just know you're right where you should be.

Visited Asheville from out of area for our anniversary and wanted a nice restaurant to celebrate. We were greeted immediately and seated per our reservation. This location has a nice dark semi-intimate interior although the exterior needs help. There are a couple outdoor tables but would be afraid of the outside noise. Because I am writing this 1.5 months late I can not give details on the food except it was good. The service was ok but not fantastic. What I do want to say is the exterior is terrible. When you want a nice intimate meal with your loved one I was not expecting to drive on a pothole gravel drive past other party beer bars and park under an overpass. Then walk across gravel with water filled potholes due to recent rain. We would not visit this business again unless the exterior was cleaned up.

Food amazing, staff was beyond spectacular, this is a hidden gem absolutely wonderful restaurant that will leave a lasting memory.

Enjoyed dining at Bull & Beggar twice in one weekend! Loved sitting at the high top window bar seats and received friendly and professional service. Cocktails were exquisitely crafted and definitely different than your average drink. I really enjoyed the Lechoro; (TEQUILA, MEZCAL, LEMON, HONEY, GINGER, TURMERIC). It's a very strong cocktail and I loved it. The salad with blue cheese and GIANT homemade croutons is such a star; I had it a few years ago and knew I had to get it again when I came back. I'm so happy that it's exactly the same except the croutons were much bigger this time around and are not bite sized. Makes it a bit awkward to enjoy in the salad but they're so tasty, salty and crunchy I didn't care and ate them with my hands without shame. The oysters were fresh and luxurious. Called in early right after opening time the next day and ordered the same salad, some appetizers and a dessert to go. Bull & Beggar has definitely become a favorite when visiting Asheville; looking forward to coming back again this fall!

One of the hidden gems of Asheville and more specifically the River Arts District! If you're visiting Asheville don't forget to make your way down to the RAD for some great food! They have everything from perfectly cooked steaks to succulent oysters and everything in between! It's very hard not to go here and order the Ploughmans platter which is one of the charcuterie platters you will ever have! Pro tip: brunch is just as good as dinner!

The Bull and the Beggar is very hard to find, but well worth the effort. Matthew is an excellent bartender and server. It is a great place for date night. The ambiance is romantic and charming. The food is delicious, though we found the menu limiting. Overall, a high end date night experience.

Bull & Beggar has always been one of my favorite places to experience great food, which are built on flavors. I haven't been to Bull & Beggar due to the impact of Helene.

from start to finish everything was spot on! the bartender and her drinks were amazing and the food to the creme brûlée just delicious!!!

An absolute treat to find this spot in the River Arts district. We were very pleased with the 36 hour lamb and the accompanying focaccia. Amazingly fresh and ample was the butter lettuce with blue cheese salad (the croutons are one of a kind!) We enjoyed the escargot but it was missing a bit of seasoning - I would have preferred a few flakes of Maldon in the shell to make it pop. Overall, excellent quality and we will return!

Food was creative and incredible. Loved the decor, as well. Great staff that were extremely knowledgeable about the menu. Highly recommend.

The 34oz bone in rib-eye was one of the best steaks I've had in a restaurant in a long time! Incredible meal!

I don't think they really want local business. Had a mediocre time and food a few weeks ago, but looked past it because of years of mostly positive visits, but now B&B has reached it's limit of bad service. No one was in the place and we went in at 5:30 May 7. Being a upscale diner 3-4 times a week, I knew that restaurants stagger seating. We had somewhere to be, so we knew we would only be there an hour, and explained that to the two hosts (host/manager). Without a blink..."no, we can't, we have reservations". We ate at Bottle Riot. Went by as we exited BR...... Bull & Beggar was 25% full at 6:35. I understand holding reservations...but this is flat out rudeness and basically falsehoods. BTW, hosts were not the least sympathetic or apologetic! Just rude. Many times I have told myself the price was not worth the purchase. Done.

This was one of the best meals of my life. We were a party of four. We ordered two salads, escargot, bread, and one entree for each person. Every bite we took was incredible. We each ordered a cocktail and all four of us were thoroughly impressed with the balance of our drinks. I ate the swordfish for my entree. It was a terrific dish. The service was wonderful and the atmosphere was perfect. We ate on the porch and watched the sun set. Incredible.

Bull & Beggar was outstanding! Our server, Robin was absolutely delightful. She had several tables, but she made us feel like we were the only people in the place. The food was so amazing, I had the Lamb & Trotter Parmentier. Literally every bite melts in your mouth. It was the most delicious thing I ever tasted in my life. I regretted having an appetizer because I was so full half way through my dish and wanted to eat the whole thing! I kept saying this is my last bite and continued to eat more.

Went only for oysters and cocktails.. both exceptional. Looked at the food menu and found it pricey.

We had a terrible experience!! The staff was rude, uptight and unhelpful. The place is dark and unappealing. The food is way overpriced. Save yourself a lot of grief and money and go to one of the other less expensive, more inviting, friendlier places in Asheville.

We went here for our anniversary dinner. It was as incredible as I remember it. The restaurant itself is in such a great location with good parking and an amazing interior. We ordered 2 cocktails (paper tiger and lechoro) which were both incredible. For an appetizer, we got the French onion soup (our waiter convinced us) and it was shockingly good!! Be prepared for cheesy goodness. For our dinner we got the duck and the cod. Both were great, but I have to say the cod was my favorite. It was so soft and the sauce was incredible. The duck was also so amazing, it had the skin on it which was different for me but it was still so delicious. For dessert (and I'm not a dessert person) we got the chocolate toffee pudding (that may be the wrong name) and it was the BEST dessert I've ever had. It's basically like a chocolate cake lying in a bed of salted caramel heaven. We didn't even get a picture because we ate it so fast. I would get this for SURE every time I came here.

My brother and I were brainstorming places to eat in Asheville and he stumbled upon Bull and Beggar during one of his searches. After a quick skim of their Yelp page I thought it looked like a trendy place to check out, so I made reservations for dinner. B&B is located in the River Arts District of Asheville, situated among a number of buildings that house a variety of businesses. While Asheville in general gives me Brooklyn vibes, it's screaming it in this particular area of the city - art studios, galleries, and breweries everywhere. I digress, though - the restaurant itself is pretty open with an industrial/rustic aesthetic. The dining room is split into two levels with lots of exposed brick and wood throughout the space. The menu has mostly consists of New American cuisine. We decided to start off by sharing a cheese board. For a small-ish board they packed a nice variety of cheese with different pairings that worked really well. I love cheese so I really enjoyed it. They also have a pretty creative cocktail menu - I had a couple of cocktails and both were very good. For my main I had the halibut which was paired with roasted peppers. The fish was super tender and flavorful, and while I thought the pairing of the peppers was odd at first it actually worked really well. I also got a side of zucchini gratin which was really great - the veg was good and the cheese made it all the better. Finally, for dessert I had the ricotta fritters. These were pretty good, they didn't have too much flavor but the ricotta added an interesting texture. I will say the peach marmalade it was paired with made it better. Service was great - our server was friendly and everything came out at a good pace. Overall, I had a good experience at B&B. This isn't the cheapest spot to grab a meal, the food and service were solid. It's definitely worth checking out at least once for dinner or happy hour.

Remember the Seinfeld episode of the soup Nazi? Well Burger Monday's at the Bull and Beggar is it's cousin. Reservations are a must. We ordered burgers (only 2 temperatures: well and med well) no other options. Everything on or off; no other options. Non alcoholic is limited to ginger (great) and Mexican Coke. They do have a full service bar and beer. I ordered an old fashion and it was good. Regardless of the restrictions the burgers were delicious, just like the Soup Nazi's soup in the Seinfeld episode. You will receive the food the way they prepare it and dammit you will like it. And trust me, you will love it ! Just eat it the way they want you too. They are the burger whispers, the Jedi burger masters and they know it. The double paddy burger was juicy, the pickles delicious and the fries are worth it. I regret I didn't take any pictures of it, but if I am referencing a Seinfeld episode I come from a time when people didn't take pics of their food. Parking tip: the GPS will take you to the street level and then you have to navigate a dark staircase. Go around and park via Payne's Way. A shorter walk.

Blown. Away. Reminiscent of the food at (NYC's) The Spotted Pig in its heyday. Cocktails that will live in your memory. Salads that surprise. A steak frites that elevates the very name of the dish. Chocolate mousse that excites every sense of the palette. And a list of French and European wines that will delight even big-city wine snobs. So glad my wife found this spot as we drove back from a gorgeous drive on the Blue Ridge Parkway!

Solid meal! Pricy, you bet! Does it look like you are eating in a Soviet Russian warehouse.... Yea a little. But that's what all the best restaurants look like now for some reason. There is a great cocktail list that they can pair with your meal. The classic steak and fries is wholly done to perfection. The sauce on the steak is other worldly. I would have loved more just to dip the fries in. Or any type of fry dipping sauce for a plate at that price would have been a nice touch. But I know I know...it's all about the steak. It's always about the steak. This is a dinning experience with a great staff that have a lot of love for what they are doing really well.

We go to this place each year when up on vacation. Its one of our go-to spots. Let's start with the good. Our server was on spot, always there and helpful. Variety of food was amazing. Drinks were top notch. We had a group of 8 and just did three courses of food. Starting with appetizers, then some salads and small plates, then to the entrees. Everyone found something they liked somewhere along the way and several people tried things they had never had before. The bad (but not really too bad). They had pretty limited vegetarian options, wish they had more. Even some of there vegetable dishes stated they were cooked in meat fats or juices, limiting them as options. For a place in Asheville, which has a lot of non-meat eaters, this was disappointing. The only other negative was just the price vs. experience, in general i felt the pricing was 20% too high. We eat out at a lot of high end places all over the country so just using past experience as a baseline. $10 for 3-4 tomato slices on a plate with some olive oil, same price for 6-7 slices of zucchini. Both were delicious but small for $10. Otherwise, lovely place and would recommend to anyone.

Oh hell YES. I've been wanting to come here now for several years, but I just didn't know when I would be back in Asheville. I snagged a spot at the bar and really enjoyed the food and the service. I don't normally *love* the cut of steak known as the filet, but that's what I had, and it ended up being DELICIOUS. It was served with a bone full of delicious, plentiful, succulent marrow on the side. I told the bartender that this is my favorite part. He told me that surprisingly about 50% of the people don't bother to eat the marrow. SAY WHAT? That's the best thing about this dish. Do they think it's a garnish or what? And if so, who the hell garnishes a plate with a bone? Either way, this place is goooood. I also had the creamed spinach and the field greens (with a mustard vinaigrette). Oh wow. Both of these were delicious. I did slightly break away from keto to have a gin cocktail, but I don't feel too bad about it, as it was well made and refreshing. Ambiance very much has an Asheville vibe, not dissimilar from The Admiral. Taxidermy and warm accents adorn the walls. Cozy, warm, and dimly lit. Can't say enough good things. The *only* very very minor thing I didn't like was that they no longer have matchboxes. I've collected them for years, and I remember seeing someone with a matchbox from here, and I was sad not to have gone before they were discontinued. Other than that: top notch.

Food, service, ambiance was excellent. Had a reservation and was seated immediately. Server was very friendly and so attentive. I was busy drinking my delicious wine and paid no attention to what my family was ordering. They basically had every appetizer on the menu. All I know is everything was delicious. I highly recommend coming here. You won't be disappointed.

Food was delicious but it took a long time to receive it. We were a party of 3. We ordered 3 appetizers to start and waited about 45 minutes or so for them (even just the bread). Server was nice but first half of meal she didn't come check on us (empty drinks until we found her downstairs and asked if we could order more). If you sit upstairs be sure to bring a sweater- the a/c is blowing full blast on you (in fact, one table asked to be moved downstairs we overheard because of the freezing air). Thankfully the food (app's and entrees) was prepared perfectly and again, it was delicious, but we won't go back unless we have 3 hours to kill.

While visiting Asheville, I ran into my friend on a Monday. My friend suggested this place because of a Monday Happy Hour special on burgers. Most of our time in Asheville was spent hiking and beering. The next visit will be for the fancy pants restaurants. This restaurant is somewhere in between. To begin, it can be hard to find. If you happen to pass it going across a bridge, stop your car, get out of your car, and jump off the bridge. You'll find this restaurant at the bottom. I loved the location where this restaurant is. There are a few places to eat and drink close by. When walking in, the way the place is set up I was afraid the service would forget about us. They didn't at all. It was some of the best that I've ever experienced. The inside was also comfy. I felt cozy for my entire visit. The only thing I didn't like is how close and elbow to elbow we were with the table next to us. A lot of restaurants love cramming people into places. It can be fine if executed correctly but most of the time it's not. I'm not sure about you but I don't want others hearing my conversation nor do I want to hear others conversations. Oddly enough, once the food came I completely forgot that we had people sitting next to us. Back to the happy hour special. The burger was tasty. I'm not sure if it was $10 good but it was still good. It felt more like a 7 or 8 dollar burger to me. You do get fries with it so that helps. They also had half off oysters during happy hour. I love oysters when they're fresh. I honestly think I should've passed the burger up and filled up on oysters this time. I had two from British Columbia and one called Blackberry. I know British Columbia oysters but I've never seen an oyster by the name of Blackberry. Both were amazing! In looking at their menu, it's not extensive and I like that. That likely means that the items they have are perfection. I give this restaurant 4 stars with the intention of returning to try one of their main entrees.

This is for Baby Bull which opened today. Had the lobster roll (that's a side of delicious pickled jalapeños). Perfect, though small. Delicately toasted bun, sweet, tender lobster. Some chips might have been nice. I overheard the nearby table saying the chili was on the the spicy side. The space is nicely cleaned up from when it White Duck Taco. Male servers don't smile. No WiFi. None of the staff wears masks, even in the food prep area.

We loved this place we brought friends from LA and they also love it. We did the croquettes and the B&B salad ( love ) we also had the halibut and it was amazing and my husband had the filet ! Absolutely A plus would definitely come back !!!!!!

What a meal, what a night!! Perfection from cocktails to mousse finish! We loved sharing the impeccable oysters, escargot, little gem lettuce salad and ribeye...and the delicious chocolate mousse for finale! The wine selection is so curated - Already trying to find more of the le puy! We've come here as often as possible and never - and I mean even during the limited menu during covid restrictions...never disappointed. One of the absolute best restaurants in NC for sure!! And we love sitting at the bar so much - great way to meet other like minded diners and enjoy speaking with the excellent bar staff.
