The 14 Best Restaurants In Jackson Hole

"The Bunnery has been a local favorite for breakfast, brunch, and lunch for over 40 years. During the summer, try to snag a seat on the flowery patio for people-watching, or sit inside to enjoy the welcoming, wood-paneled interior. Order the hearty Cowboy Benedict with fried eggs and sausage on top of a buttermilk biscuit doused in pepper country gravy, or go for the Gros Ventre Slide with fried eggs, green chilis, and hash browns topped with cheddar and sour cream. Using their special trademarked “OSM” (oat sunflower millet) blend, they specialize in granola and pancakes, and sell some mixes and packages to go. Stock up on pies, muffins, croissants, and other treats at the bakery while you’re there. " - kristen pope

Google
In a sea of tourist traps, the Bunnery is a delightful restaurant for those looking for good food at fair prices. Jackson Hole is fun and full of interesting quasi gimmicky food joints, not that they’re not delicious, but sometimes you just want predictably good food that is what you expect and want it to be. We ordered the classic Bunnery burger with Bison meat, which was a little dry, but no fault of theirs because my girlfriend ordered it well done and thus devoid of moisture. It was cooked to order and as tasty as it could be in that condition. I had the breakfast burrito and it was filling and tasty. The best bite for me though was the huckleberry pie. It would be worth dining there just for pie alone. Don’t miss the pie. The bakery items also looked very nice, but can’t say much about that on this trip.

Google
Best Cinnamon Roll and Very Berry Pie I have had in a long long time!!! It offers a wide selection of bakery items as well as breakfast options with decent portions. The food is absolutely fresh and delicious to taste.

They have so many breakfast options including all of the house made breads and pastries. I wanted to try it all, but I had the Cowboy Benedict and it was very very good. The French toast was good but a tad bit underwhelming. Otherwise, it's a cozy place and the service was good. We spent right at $70 on breakfast for 2 (not including tip) but we also ordered way more than we can eat. The entrees are around $20 each but I guess that's just the way it is around here.

After waiting forever at another breakfast restaurant we decided to come here instead. We were seated immediately by a friendly host. My husband ordered drip coffee and I got a latte w/ white mocha & caramel warm instead of hot. The latte was PERFECT, I was a barista in my younger years and I usually don't like other people's latte's because the bitterness of their espresso but this was one of the best coffees I've ever had, and it was the perfect temp where I could drink now & not wait for 20 min for a cool down. They have a bakery that looks really good & some souvenir shirts/hats. Parking was really easy to find but it is street parking so I'm sure it's harder when it's busy. The food came out really hot, and it tasted really good. We had to ask a few times for a coffee refill but all-in-all we had a great experience.

On a bad-weather day during our 2023 overlanding trip, we stopped at The Bunny Bakery & Restaurant in Jackson Hole to let someone else handle the cooking, cleaning, and coffee brewing. The food and coffee hit the spot, and the cozy morning was just what we needed. We both got a brewed coffee ($4.45), and for our meals we got the classic club ($17) and Steak & Eggs ($23.95). Everything was phenomenal. The pricing was notably elevated for a venue of this type, more closely aligned with premium establishments than with a traditional diner or café. Nonetheless, we brought home a souvenir mug to remember the stop. Pros: food, atmosphere, smells. Cons: price, wait time (worth it), and not leaving room for dessert. I still regret not leaving room for one of the incredible-looking cakes or pies in the case. Next time, dessert first.

Google
Get there early because it's going to get busy. The menu is large with traditional breakfast options. The cozy diner bakery is filled with delicious smells and absolutely best bake goods. Service is good but be patient they are slammed busy.

Google
Almost every time we come to Jackson, The Bunnery is a staple visit on our list. The breakfasts here are delicious. We have tried many menu items over the years and are never disappointed. My personal favorite is the steak and eggs. The staff is always friendly and welcoming, despite busy mornings with long lines. Depending on what time you show up, be prepared to wait outside (under a covered and ceiling-heated boardwalk. During the warmer months, there is outdoor seating which increases capacity and decreases wait times. Don’t forget to grab a tasty pastry for the road!

Google
recommended. The food was amazing. The chocolate croissant is to die for. The Belgian waffle is amazing too. Great service and very pretty pictures in the area

Yelp
What a cute little spot for breakfast in Jackson hole! The restaurant was clean and had a very rustic style. I went with a group of 7 and everyone loved what they ordered, the portions were big, the service was fast. I will be recommending The Bunnery!

Yelp
The Bunnery in Jackson Hole is an absolute gem! The breakfast was outstanding--everything was fresh and flavorful, but the French toast truly stole the show. The cozy, homey farm decor made us feel right at home, and the service was top-notch--friendly, efficient, and welcoming. We can't wait to return on our next visit to Jackson Hole!

Yelp
Traditional breakfast spot. Service was fast and staff were accommodating and friendly. Portions were also very large. Did not try any pastries however they looked delicious.

Yelp
We've been planning a return visit to the Bunnery for 13 years. We got there early to avoid the crowds and had coffees and pastries. The pastries were very good and so the restaurant gets the maximum of 3 stars for a breakfast place.

Yelp
This place was okay. The service people were very confused, but this may be because it was the first weekend of "the season" and all the staff was new. We had spent all day hiking and were looking forward to a warm soup. But the soup was ice cold. The tuna melt was tasty. It was open faced and at least it was warm. The tuna tasted fresh. The kettle chips were good. We ordered a slice of huckleberry pie with a scoop of ice cream to go. It was pretty good, but I've had better pies. This place has a cute and friendly atmosphere, just wish the food was better.

Yelp
The food here was very good as well as the service. The ambiance felt like grandmas house. I had the yogurt parfait it was Greek yogurt filled with strawberries and blueberries, filling and fresh. The crispy bacon was perfect. The toast look so cute and is toasted perfectly well.

Yelp
Breakfast is served. I recently had the pleasure of dining at The Bunnery Bakery in Jackson Hole and let me tell you, this cozy little spot exceeded all my expectations! From the friendly staff to the mouthwatering pastries and freshly brewed coffee, every detail was pure perfection. The rustic decor and charming atmosphere made me feel right at home, and I can't wait to go back for more of their delicious treats. A must-visit for any foodie in Jackson Hole!

Yelp
Cocoa was super rich, I actually dropped ice cubes in it to dilute it quite a bit. I had the strawberry cream cheese croissant which was great aside from the bottom dough being raw still. I also had the stroganoff soup which was decent. Very mushroom filled. Probably wouldn't choose here again for a meal in Jackson.

Yelp
My husband and I ate here years ago so when we flew into Jackson again this week, this was a must-visit again! Our memories of the delicious food did not disappoint. I got the quiche florentine and he got the OSM pancakes with huckleberries. Both were so good. The quiche was moist and the crust was flaky. The pancakes had an amazing texture. We loved their OSM mix so we bought some to make pancakes at home.

Yelp
This place was amazing! All homemade items! Loved the pancakes! And the granola flavors looked so good! Mugs and mixes for sale! One line for sit down or can go to bakery! Homemade breads too! The servers are friendly and very attentive! Bathrooms are clean. Pure maple syrup and sugar free available! Bacon was tasty! All things huckleberry were Amazing! The pancakes were so tasty!!! Didn't even need syrup! Loved all the options! We took huckleberry cream croissants to go! We should have bought more! They are huge and delicious! Can't wait to go back to Jackson just to eat here again! The whole area is amazing! We didn't have a wait but the line does get long however it moves fast! The coffee is Starbucks so we will forgive that! I think they should use the local coffee and that would be perfect!

Alex E.

Yelp
When I booked my trip to Yellowstone/Teton/Jackson, I knew I had to find huckleberry pie. This was the place. The huckleberry pie was everything I had dreamed of. Delicious, mouth-watering, juicy, flavorful, and indulgent. I also ordered the club sandwich and tomato soup which were delicious as well. I am still dreaming of the huckleberry pie, though. Great brunch spot!

Yelp
I absolutely love this breakfast place that feels rustic yet homey. I've come here with friends before but this time I came alone before work and sat at the bar area. I like this area cause all the coffee is made here and I like to watch :) My server was Delia. She took care of everything I needed and was very sweet. I ordered "a Jackson favorite" the bacon omelette. These omelette are three egg omelette that come with hashbrowns and toast. It was ready within 10 min. I gave 4 stars cause I wish they had a gluten free option for toast cause of my intolerance. Many places do and Altogether this place has some good breakfast food and plenty of options for pastries croissants and cakes if you are into that. I like the feel of this place and the coffee so I will be back. Thank you Bunnery for a nice quiet meal before work.

Yelp
I cannot say enough good things about this restaurant! This quaint restaurant is located right in the middle of one of the nicest mountain towns I have been to. Their pastries are to die for and their scrambled salmon dish is one of the best I have had in a long time! I also recommend trying their bloody Mary's-- they are so tasty! Will definitely be returning to this restaurant!

Yelp
Was starving after landing in Jackson, so headed straight here for brunch after dropping off all my bags at the hotel. It wasn't very crowded but it took a while for me to get seated. I ordered the Regular, which is eggs, sausage or bacon, hash browns and toast - it's a classic breakfast that i absolutely love to get wherever I go. I got scrambled eggs with sausage. Also ordered a slice of the huckleberry pie and an earl grey. The breakfast came out pretty quickly and it was delicious. The hash brown was amazing!!! Soooo crispy on the outside and cooked well on the inside. The hash brown isn't that seasoned so you're going to want to season it with salt or add hot sauce to add some flavor - but that's how I prefer it rather than it being too salty from the get go. The toast was really good too. The pie was pretty good - not that sweet. It was a very hearty breakfast and i was super full after. They also sell pastries and pie to go. 3.5 stars!

Yelp
Classic breakfast done right. Sweet staff, great service, food was delicious. I had the veggie eggs Benedict and i loved it. My fiancé got the steak and eggs and said it was excellent. Get here early or else you'll be waiting in a long line, however it's worth the wait! Pastries are also Devine. Don't sleep on this spot if your in Jackson
google avatar

Yelp
Some of the best classic breakfasts, unique breakfasts, & truly the best breakfast sandwiches ever. Their breakfast sando & my favorite one is the one with lots of crisp bacon, two eggs cooked your way, and cheese on a croissant - it's perfection! Be prepared to wait if coming for breakfast on the weekends, but if you want a tasty, generous-portioned breakfast in Jackson, this is a great choice! Pricing is fair considering the touristy area. Ambience is farmhouse diner-esque. Service is very kind, but usually slowish to start, due to them being so busy. Patience is rewarded with great food. Take a pie home - you won't be disappointed!

Yelp
Great Pancakes! Fast service! Great outdoor and indoor seating. Overall everything is great!

Yelp
Diego is the best waiter ever! He was so attentive, went above and beyond and just such a kind person. We are tourists here but bonded over him being from Mexico! He made this the best breakfast experience we had in Jackson - if the owner sees this give him some praise!! Thank you Diego!

Yelp
What a cute little southern spot in the Jackson Hole downtown area! We've been hearing about this place before we came down here & we just had to try it. We all enjoyed our food, the flavors & serving sizes were amazing. We had biscuits & gravy & pancakes as a majority... and one omelette. All of them were SO good! Service was great, wait time for food wasn't too long with our group of 9. Can't wait to visit again!
google avatar

Yelp
Great coffee, good breakfast foods, home made bread, pastries, pancakes.... Attentive service. We've been visiting Jackson for years and make a point to eat here on our way to airport on way home. It is a very comfortable meal to say goodbye to Jackson.
google avatar

Alesha R.

Yelp
Quick service, tasty food, reasonable prices! Lots of fresh baked items in the front including pies, pastries, muffins, and more.
google avatar

Alina S.

Yelp
Very nice place. Good breakfast and the servers are cordial and polite. The one place open for breakfast early in the morning
google avatar

Donna S.

Yelp
A sweet little spot for brunch. We loved the huckleberry scone and parfait with homemade granola. Wish we had had time to try the pies and baked goods!
google avatar

Chadk S.

Yelp
As far as service goes, it was hit n miss. Our waitress was sweet and patient with us ordering since it was our first time at the restaurant. The rest of the service wasn't all that inviting. I think if you go there, the food is OK. I expected a little more quality. If you come here, you definitely want to focus on theirbaked goods, it definitely is their staple.

Gabby R.

Yelp
Good service, good tasty, I prefer Cafe Genevieve way better. Service is good here though.
google avatar

Yelp
While I was in town visiting I tried the spot for breakfast on my first morning in town! And I gotta say theirs is a lil spit to go have breakfast at the food was delicious and the service was awesome! And the ambiance is casual or if you wanna roll outta bed and go to breakfast you ca! You can either eat inside or you can sit out on there Little patio and enjoy your breakfast or lunch and also take in the views! I would definitely recommend this place for breakfast and I know I'll be back next time I'm in town!
google avatar

Katie T.

Yelp
Great food and friendly service, loved the texture of the OSM pancakes! Highly recommend for breakfast!

Yelp
Solid 4* and worth the visit. Good food, decent service, nice location. The line to get a seat is quite long - so if you are flexible, consider getting a pastry and going down the street to the park to eat it. We came here twice - once to sit and once to grab and drive. The sit down service is not fast, so relax and enjoy the people watching. Food was OK, although the hollendaise was a bit thick and not lemony enough for me. Pastries were also good, liked the flaky crusts of the crossiants, but wished they had a bit more filling. Chai was decent, but a bit expensive for what you get. Overall, a good option for Jackson on the main drag.
google avatar

Daniele H.

Yelp
We went here twice and the first time, I had the biscuits and gravy and it was really good. There were 3 adults and our meal with tip, was $90-100. We went here a second time and I had the French toast with cinnamon bread. What was I was pretty shocked about, was that I got an end piece as one of the 4 pieces of French toast. I've gotten French toast at a lot of places and never have I been served an end piece. For the price, I would never expect to get an end piece. Our second meal was about the same cost for 3 people. Unfortunately, I wouldn't go back here because of the price and the second experience we had. It's really not worth the price.

Kara R.

Yelp
Went for breakfast and their pancakes were amazing. Loved the texture and taste of them and 1 was huge. Service was a little slow and we were basically the only ones in the restaurant but overall the taste and price was great.
google avatar

Miranda S.

Yelp
brought my Mom here with the family for Mother's Day- no wait at all! Friendly service, decent Bloody Mary's. Oatmeal was the only vegan option, but it was a good oatmeal! Most importantly- always kept my coffee mug hot and filled
google avatar

Windy T.

Yelp
Great breakfast spot stopped in while on vacation. Haven't been in years but man just as delicious as always!
google avatar

Kristina M.

Yelp
This is a great place for a traditional American breakfast. There are tons of choices to satisfy everyone in your group. The decor is typical mountain rustic--charming and homey. The food was delicious. The service good and the wait time efficient.
google avatar

Heather C.

Yelp
Service very slow. Took forever to take our order for lunch even though restaurant wasn't crowded at all. Specifically ordered sandwich without lettuce, tomato and pickle and it arrived with all three. Grilled cheese was bland.
google avatar

Gayle L.

Yelp
This place has always been the "go-to" place for many years, although it's been a few years for us. Sorry to say it was a big disappointment . From the sticky bun to the eggs Benedict. I didn't finish any of it. Probably will not return.
google avatar

Mike D.

Yelp
Great food and menu. Try the bakery good s too Excellent service .. get souvenirs mugs
google avatar

Danny T.

Yelp
We had the biscuits and gravy and it was a 5* meal! Gravy had great texture, and biscuits were fresh! Also had the "Glory bowl" which was 2 eggs over easy on hash browns with mushrooms and Swiss cheese!
google avatar

Erin H.

Yelp
3.5 stars. Pros/strengths: so cute. Very cozy vibe. Big traditional breakfast menu. Cons/weaknesses: not vegan or gluten free friendly (only one option on the whole menu- oatmeal) and food was so-so (hash-browns not fully cooked, quiche fine but not as good as Persephone, etc). Server was kind, and food and drinks came out in good time. I will say, I was disappointed that I had to order oatmeal since it was the only option vegan and gf friendly on menu, BUT it actually was good oatmeal. Really good texture, I think there's quinoa mixed in maybe? It seemed like the blueberries and strawberries were sugared, which bothered me. But I def left feeling very full. So, on the whole, it's a solid option but I would hit Persephone for quiche or pastries if you have no dietary restrictions or hit the Healthy Being if you are vegetarian, vegan, and/or gluten free.

Dale J.

Yelp
Not a single bunny on the menu! But on a serious note, stood at the counter for more than 10 minutes being ignored by multiple employees. Will never go back.
google avatar

Andy V.

Yelp
Food was terrible. Ordered grilled cheese, came unmelted. Tomato soup was cold. Beef soup was ALL cream. Drinks were also a disaster. We paid and left. Never again. :(
google avatar

Robert F.

Yelp
Busy place. Great menu and great diner/breakfast food. Nice staff. Despite being very busy I didn't feel rushed. Great pie!
google avatar

Brian F.

Yelp
Get thee to the Bunnery! Worth it for the spectacular display case of pastries the size of your head! Sticky bun highly recommended. Dine in and take out options.

Yelp
Stopped by Jackson and saw that we HAD to try this family business. The line to get seated is typically quite long. However, I guess we came on a good day and we were seated pretty quickly. The food was like a regular breakfast joint - a little heavy, a little greasy. It honestly wasn't much to write home about. However, the service was great! I could tell that everyone was working hard even during the morning rush.

Ron M.

Yelp
This visit was my second time there, the prior visit being in 2004. What I recalled as a fantastic breakfast spot and bakery has certainly fallen from its prior grandeur. We arrived at 11 am on a Sunday morning and were seated quickly. Our server greeted us promptly and brought our drinks. After ordering the bacon omelette and the "standard breakfast" plate with buttermilk pancakes we were ready to be wowed by the food. Unfortunately our expectations were much higher than what we received. The bacon omelette arrived and was very appealing looking but tasted absolutely flavorless. The accompanying hash browns were not seasoned at all so some salt, pepper, and Tabasco were definitely needed to enhance the flavor. But overall this was just a very bland dish. My dining companion had the "standard breakfast" which consisted of eggs, bacon, and a buttermilk pancake. The pancake was incredibly sweet and quite dissimilar to what she was expecting. The scrambled eggs had bits of burnt food in them and were inconsistent in their level of doneness, some eggs being undercooked and some burnt. The bacon was okay but nothing special. Despite requesting drink refills they never arrived. We also ordered two huckleberry danishes to go and they were completely stale and dry. Overall this was a very disappointing experience for the $60 we paid and I hope that others have a better experience than we did!

Yelp
The Bunnery Bakery is a Jackson Hole classic! Been going there for years. Their pastries are quite delicious and it is the place to go if you are wanting a basic breakfast place. One thing I think this place could improve on is mixing up there menu. Though they are consistent, I do think that they could change up their menu a bit...and even offer gluten free stuff! I used to get their delicious pastries and sweets, but once I realized I had to eat gluten free, it is now a little hard to want to go to the Bunnery anymore. Other than that, it is a quaint breakfast spot with great service.
google avatar

Yelp
Stopped in for lunch, seemed like a quiet little place. Seating isn't bad, tables are decently in some spots but on top of each other in other spots. The menu has minimal options, more breakfast options than anything, burger or BLT other than that. Kids burger is tiny and they don't put bacon on the bacon cheeseburger. The BLT and the glory bowl are good options. Don't count on a drink refill or the staff to check on you at any point though. I had to ask for the waitress. One side of the restaurant was waited on perfectly, our waitress didn't get the memo apparently. The three stars is for the food and nice spot to get out of the sun but the customer service is seriously lacking.

Jonathan M.

Yelp
Mediocre, luke-warm food. Hash browns were undercooked. Hollinsdaise sauce was thick and looked almost congealed. French toast tasted like a scrambled egg. Service & ambiance were both great.
google avatar

Heather V.

Yelp
We went for breakfast. The atmosphere was very cold almost European w western pictures The coffee was Starbucks which was a plus but the coffee lady came and asked us literally every 2 minutes if we wanted more. I got the croissant sandwich. Bread to content ratio was way off. Too much bread. They used shredded cheese for the sandwich and didn't even melt it so it was a mess. My husband got a bacon omelet that had little to no bacon It just was not great.
google avatar

Kati M.

Yelp
The Bunnery has exactly the type of menu that you would want for a classic breakfast. Our service was excellent! The interior was great--cutsie pictures of roosters everywhere. We went after a sunrise hot air balloon ride so we were hungry and needed coffee! Our food was decent, but I like my hashbrowns extra crispy and salted--neither of which were represented in this meal. Next time I'll make that request!! All in all--no wait, pleasant servers and a meal delivered quickly was a perfect way to cap off an early morning adventure!
