Solid burgers with nice cheeses and buns, and tasty salted fries. Quick and easy place to grab a bite when you're on a grocery run, or are just hankering for a fairly-priced burger and fries! They also have Vienna Lager on tap here, 20oz for $7, amazing!

I had the turkey burger, and this is my first and last time here, the bread was really old and extremely cold. And it didn’t not taste that good. Not worth the trip at all

Hmm, I am kinda torn right now between Burger Bar and all the other places that offer relatively tasty and well priced burgers already. Just ate at the first The Burger Bar in VA I think during opening day today. The service is of course stellar given the Wegmans standard for quality of course. The meal itself was ok.... See pic. Ok so the meat patty does not seem to be of frozen provenance. And it took me a few minutes to understand why they say it's irradiated beef as this is a great solution offering to those who like burgers cooked rare. So kudos for meat doneness option .... but was hoping to get more Maillard crusting on the meat patty. The fries are not double-fried so they do get soggy when cool. The sweet potato fries is the highlight due to the interesting cut which seems to make it crunchy on outside, moist & sweet on inside. The burger entrees seem limited. Was hoping for far memorable flavors (again, very little Maillard crust) but I'll hold the last star and see what specials or events this location might hold in the future. IMPORTANT note for all those with hungry kids when food shopping .... Yes, I would come back to eat here as the sit down area is very relaxing and family oriented.

This pricey maple bacon burger is horrible, don't waste your money. 🤮🤮 on another note, the fries are really good.

4 stars is not a bad thing. New location so place is clean and well lit. My favorite thing to order is their Margarita’s.

DO NOT. PLEASE DO NOT come and waste your money here. These are not burgers, they’re shredded cardboard (cardboard taste better than this). No flavor, can tell it’s from frozen processed patties, can tell beef has freezer burn. Asked for a medium was given a dried up overcooked burger. Also ordered the chicken BLT… had no flavor. Can tell it was frozen chicken overcooked chicken. Fries were also frozen 🙃 no flavor. Just over seasoned. Wasted $25 here. Please don’t make the same mistake we did by buying processed frozen overpriced food.

$18 burger, so it's compared to premium burgers and it doesn't make it there. Rather than pink or no pink they offer rare, medium and well done. It's much harder to judge how to cook it properly. It, well done, was overcooked. The toppings were sparce and unimpressive. It had a gluten free bun because my wife is intolerant. The bun was huge, you can decide if that's a good thing or not. The fries were good and hot, covered with rosemary and garlic ,I think. Very good. Overall, a decent meal but not $18.

Very expensive. My wife got a lobster salad that was $20 and it didn't have a lot of lobster in it. Our bill was over $30 for just lunch before getting groceries at Wegmans which is connected. The burger was pretty good but limited in topping options. I thought the meat could use more seasoning. The overall taste and quality was good but, I'd rather go to the counter at Reston town center if I was getting an expensive burger.

We discovered this place to eat before the concert at Capital One Hall since it's in the same building. In order to get in, you have to walk outside and come in the front door. Food (4/5): Def would come get the Maple Bacon Cheeseburger again! The bacon jam and caramelized onions were amazing on the burger. And the herb fries! Service (3/5): you have to order from the bar.

Today I had an American Classic Burger for the second time. All the toppings and the meat done-ness were accurate to my order and the burger looked beautiful. But sadly, the patty had no taste. Do they season the beef patty? I hope they will start seasoning the meat with salt and pepper to bring out umami from the meat in the near future. I am giving 3 stars with expectation of improvement in the future. Please season the meat with salt and pepper.

I have had my share of burgers. Was heading to Burger Shack (been before, great!) or 5Guys. Decided to try here. Gross! No flavor at all. No idea how you can make a crappy burger but ‍. To top it off I was asked if I wanted anything else? Said no. As I am leaving I noticed a sign saying ALL REGULAR HAMBURGERS GET FREE CRUNCHY FRIES! Was not told or offered that at check out. Go to 5 Guys! So much better!

The setting is actually great. After a walking through a beautiful grocery store, completely hungry from what you're purchased and seen it sounds like a great idea to stop for a meal. The convenience of the location, the laid back setting with ample seating and even a super kid friendly specific seating section all line up to be a nice breather from grocery shopping. However, the food, particularly for the price does not deliver. My husband ordered the cheeseburger and added bacon, making it a $10 burger. The only problem is that it was the size and quantify of a $3-$4 fast food value menu cheeseburger. My kiddos each got a kids meal, one cheeseburger meal and one chicken tenders meal. Portion sizes for the kids meals were fine, but quality was also that of a fast food kids meal. Lastly, I had the Maple Bacon Cheeseburger which actually was delicious and proportional size for the price, $11. Overall, I don't think we would utilize the menu at this portion of the store but would consider ordering hot/prepared foods within the store and then using the cafe space to eat.

Food was delicious, and service was amazing. I had a burger, double patty, with multiple toppings. I added toppings on the side that I threw on the fries. Gotta be creative. The design of the restaurant is nice and lively, the food is even better and the service is outstanding. My server, Duaa, was amazing and super helpful and did more than I expected, especially in a non full service restaurant. She was caring and also not too intrusive on my meal. She also asked how everything was like a full service restaurant would. Manny and Nick, I believe, were the cooks. I had to thank them both after the meal I had. Amazing chefs and always smiling. The burger was juicy and cooked to order. Fresh and nicely toasted bun. I could taste the individual spices seasoned into the meat. It's succulent and flavorful profile had my mouth watering, and my taste buds soaring after a bite. The fries were golden, fluffy and crispy. All that for about $11. My experience was amazing and I will definitely be back for more! Service - better than chick fil a Food - best around Price - 6-12$

On an unusually quiet Friday night before a long week-end, my wife and I popped in for a burger. There are quite a few options here to choose from but the counter person was helpful in helping to narrow down the list. We both ended up ordering turkey burgers with a half Greek salad as our side. They have several local beers on tap that we took advantage of as well. Pager in hand, we walked to the outside dining area with our beers to enjoy the pleasant evening. There is plenty of seating indoors as well and later we learned live entertainment. The wait was reasonable for our burgers that one picks up back at the counter. Be sure to ask for whatever condiments you need as just ketchup is available in the dining room. Had to get mayo for my wife?! Our burgers were fresh and tasty. Being made of turkey they were not overly filling and hit the spot. I loved their Greek salad especially the feta cheese that I am a sucker for. Overall our meal was pleasant and we will surely return perhaps when we actually need to purchase some groceries in the future.

It's nice that a restaurant exists inside Wegmans! So happy to see that this restaurant is available for the many office spaces in this area. This is a lower end 3.5 rating... I went back and forth between 3 and 3.5. I put four in the hopes that on my next visit they will make some critical changes. It's only because of the freshness of the patty and ingredients... But it could get lowered by my next visit... 1. They got my menu item wrong which means I had to wait for them to fix it while my fries got colder. 2. They just serve the bread straight out of the bag... without buttering it and putting it on the grille for crisp edging... 3. The lettuce was a single leaf and limp... I would love to see them chop it up to give some crisp and volume. They also should serve 2 tomatoes and some nice crisp onions with it. These are just basics of a good burger. 4. The good is the freshness of the patty and size. It is a considerably larger and thicker patty than most places and cooked well! If this place makes few adjustments, I think it could quickly become one of my favorite burger places in the area. I hope they take the reviews seriously! The sweet potato fries were well made... just a bit cold from the wait...

We both got the American Burger and fries. The burgers were pretty good, but very messy. The fries were tasty. We tried regular and Tuscan flavors. Prices should be a bit lower though. They make the burgers to order so they give you a thing that lights up when your food is ready. They brought out the food as soon as it lit up. It only took a short time for them to cook the food. We were the only ones there eating at the time. It looked clean. There are signs for customers to flip over after they leave the table so people know if the table is clean or dirty.

This is a classic pictures look better than the actual food. The new fried chicken sandwich was good but puny. Look at the picture. As a comparison, Popeye's fried chicken sandwich gives you 2-3x more meat at half the cost. The fries were also disappointing. They advertise crispy fries and for a dollar more, you can get Tuscan fries (garlic and herbs and supposedly more crispy). On top of that, I specifically requested extra crispy (more time in the fryer). I think this chain needs to read a dictionary on what crispy actually means. The fries were as limp as a wilted flower. Fail. It's probably my fault for going to a restaurant inside of a grocery store. Lesson learned.

Came in today. Ordered a create your own burger with a side of Tuscan fries, chicken avocado BLT with the crispy fried chicken breast instead of the grilled and a kids chicken tenders. The burger was ok. Nothing great, nothing bad. Cooked medium. Tuscan fries were hard as a rock. Chicken tenders were ok. Came out hot for the kid. Now when we ordered the chicken avocado BLT we asked if the grilled chicken breast could be replaced with the fried chicken breast. Cashier looked at us as if we were speaking another language and the cook had to come out to tell him what we wanted. Lo and behold we got up charged $3 for the fried chicken breast... Even though the chicken avocado is the higher priced sandwich. Makes no sense. Another pet peeve, no kids high chair within reach. They are located near the bathrooms. While here, we also noticed a customer talk to the cashier about his burger not being cooked correctly and either this guy is good at playing dumb and what not the customer just got frustrated and walked away.

My first visit right after they opened was not good. The burger had no seasoning whatsoever and the sweet potato fries were just awful (and huge pieces). I'm pleased to say they got it together and I could not be happier with my burger and regular potato fries today. This will definitely be a regular stop for me if they can maintain the consistency.

After a long day of work, I was tasked with running to the store and pick up dinner for the family. Since grocery stores on an empty stomach are never a great idea, I thought I would try the Burger Bar. The place was pretty empty for early dinner time. Tons of available seating. My family can be particular with their food. Certain foods can't touch other foods and nothing can be soggy. Fast forward the minutes until I arrive home to feed the troupes. The turkey burger was a disaster. Wilted lettuce and soggy bun. Not at all what I ordered. Nothing was on the side. The lettuce with the salad resembled scraps of lettuce found in cheap already packaged bags of lettuce--brown and more brown. Now the burger. I am not sure what kind of beef that was. I would take McDonald's any day over that. On a positive note, the sweet potato fries were excellent.

Let me start by saying I LOVE Wegmans. A pioneer on so many fronts in the grocery industry, they need to rethink their approach to dining. Yes, the world has a labor issue. Yes, people do not want reusable food trays after a pandemic, but holy sh!t, this restaurant is a disaster. If it didn't have the margin and overhead of a attached, mega grocery store, it would have been shut down. The food is OK, but nothing special and certainly not worth 25 bucks for two sandwiches an order of fries and two beers. The octogenarian help struggle with the cash, register, service, and hearing a customer place an order correctly. Not trying to be unkind, but if your Frontline staff can't do the work, they are not effective. I count at least five people behind the counter, double the number of guests to have placed an order since we sat down. And our food was delivered to us wrapped to go (screw sustainability !!!) despite the fact that we were sitting 10 feet away from the person who took our order. But very nice of the other older lady, to bring the order to us. And yes, it was wrong. But it was too much difficulty to ask to make it right. I don't know who's in charge of Wegmans foodservice operations, but it's clearly no one who has anything associated with the level of quality and service at Wegmans has built their brand on. And the ambience in the restaurant is a kin to a morgue. Which is What this place will be if somebody doesn't step in and redefin processes, add some ambience and guest experience; and ensure that the people working on the front line actually can handle the work.

So unsuspecting to give the Burger bar 5 stars. Here are they why's: - great value! I usually get the kids meal, which comes with a baby burger, any side you want, a fountain drink and soft serve for ONLY $6!!!!! - burger patties are always cooked on the spot, and never stale - Wegmans service is unbeatable and always pleasant - did I mention the soft serve with the kids meal??? - the rosemary fries are delicious!!!!! So go ahead and try it, It's totally become our favorite neighborhood burger joint!

Good Burger and Sandwiches. Kid meals include a soft serve. Wine and beer is also available. Prices is on bit higher price from $14-$17 for their sandwiches, which in my opinion is a bit high compared to some restaurant in the are which ranges from$10-$14. There is not much choice, its good when your trying to get a quick bite.

$10 for a burger that had so much grease, that it soaked the bottom bun through. I welcome all types of burgers, but this flat iron didn't have much added flavor. If it was half the price, I would probably give it 3 stars but for the price, I would never buy again.

Ordered the maple, onion burger and it was excellent! Well cooked and tasty. Clean, comfortable atmosphere. Nice place for lunch by yourself or small groups.

I had the maple onion burger and fries for lunch today, and I was extremely impress. One of the best burger that I had on a while. Fries were really good too. Definitely will be back again.

I must say that I was quite disappointed... I went with a few friends for dinner and I decided to have their burger with bacon. Im very sorry to say that it really tasted like frozen food. I am a huge believer in the patty and the quality of ingredients going in a burger and expected this joint to represent Wegmans' value but it definitely was not the case. I usually would try food again to rewrite my review but for the price... I don't think that I will at this moment. We also had ice cream twice, once for a smaller size and the next time for a larger size but they actually gave the same amount which was another disappointment.

MEH. Do not order the crab cake sandwich it is not worth it. Patty was so skinny and burnt, falling apart, great idea for the restaurant but poor execution. Wegmans is amazing but they would do well switching out things at the hot bar based on ingredients and season, same with pre made dishes. I don't know why it's so hard to vary the choices and switch it up. Also the recipes are just really not that great. The idea seems to be quantity over quality and that's convenient but unfortunate for a person who actually enjoys good food. This is not that, it just helps get you by

A bad experience. Though there was no line, the people behind the counter seemed in a rush and wanted us to order quickly. I ordered the Danny's favorite 1/4 pound burger. I got a small burger with some sort of gross meat paste poured onto it. Patty was about 2/3 the size of a McDonalds 1/4 pounder. It was luke warm, "toasted" bun was cold. I had asked for tomato, didn't get any. If there was cheese and or anything else it must have been in the paste. My "Tuscan" fries looked wonderful, but were cold and had to be sent back. When they came back there was even more parsley! and they were hot. (Tuscan Italy or Star Wars? Hmmm) For 2 meals we got 1 knife and fork. When I asked for another, the employee explained burgers did not include that. My son ordered a half Cesar salad with chicken and a milkshake. He got got iceburg lettuce chunks, several croutons, and some generic dressing. And a large uncut grilled chicken breast on the side. Milkshake had not been delivered 10 minutes after the food came... We asked and 5 minutes later he had a sort of Wendy's quality "milkshake". He took a few sips and threw it away. All that and my Coke only cost $30!

The Burger Bar at Wegmans was absolutely fantastic. I came all the way from Woodbridge to check it out. I had the baby kale and arugula salad with grilled chicken and it did not disappoint. The service was wonderful, a young lady named Molly brought me my salad and she was so pleasant. I asked her where there were extra napkins and without hesitation she brought me a handful. This was an exceptional dining experience.

This is the best burger in nova. Fries are amazing too. I love me some 5 guys but this burger is just amazing. It's just in another level serving gourmet like burgers and fries and doing it right. So good!!!

I love Wegmans, and when I heard there was going to be a Burger Bar, I was very excited. I've been to the Burger Bar twice now, and both times it has been very crowded. The employees were all super nice and the food was delicious. There aren't as many options as I was hoping, but good food nonetheless! I'll be back.

This venue got a number of poor reviews when it first opened, which influenced me to delay my first visit for over a year. That wasn't the only reason. When I learned that they only sell their burgers as a combo, and you can't just buy the burger without the side dish, I was nonplussed, because usually I'd rather just eat the burger and skip the calorie-laden fries. I also thought it was a little head-scratching that they opened this burger place when just across the parking lot is a Habit Burger which has one of the best value-to-quality ratio of any burger place in the area. I finally visited and ate here recently, and I think this place got a little bit of a bum rap with previous reviews. Overall, I think the restaurant is of good quality, although I have a few reservations about it which I'll explain below. First of all, the signature burger for this place, the Maple Bacon Burger, costs 13 dollars (but that includes the fries). That, obviously, is restaurant-level pricing, and this place is just counter service. Nevertheless, they do seem to be trying to justify the price by providing a gourmet-type burger. It tasted to me like they were trying to use better ingredients. Their sauce on the burger was very tasty. The burger isn't unusually big, just the regular size as most hamburger places. Is it worth the price? I have to say that I don't think so. A Five Guys cheeseburger with fries costs $10.50 or so and tastes better, IMO. Anyway, Wegman's "Tuscan Fries" were fantastic. They were some of the best French Fries I've ever had. I'm not sure why they call them "Tuscan," however, because they seemed to be Belgian style. Whatever, those were some great fries. Perfectly crispy and well-seasoned. Another plus about this place is that the glasses of beer and wine are very cheaply priced. They have some good craft beers on tap and appear to cost about $5-6 for a 16-oz which you can upgrade to a 20-oz for an additional $1.50. Great value. Here's the main rub with this place...the atmosphere is awkward and confusing. It appears like they're trying to be both a family place, and a "pub" at the same time. It gives off a mixed vibe. For a comparison of a place that pulls it off I have to mention the nearby Fair Lakes Whole Foods, which has a seafood counter plus a pizza and burger restaurant, also with cheap craft beers and wines. However, the Whole Foods has a better drink selection and the atmosphere is more comfy and cozy. The problem with Wegmans is that they're sticking to their business model of having a humongous deli section, with an extensive hot food line (it looks like a buffet, but isn't). So, they need a big seating area for all the customers who buy something from one of the deli counters (salads, pizza, tacos, sandwiches, etc) and it's mixed in with the seating for the burger bar. It just doesn't feel comfortable. I guess you could buy something from the deli section in the store, then buy a beer or wine from the Burger Bar counter, then sit anywhere in the large seating area and eat, but I don't really see the point. I think, when it comes down to it, I'd rather buy a bottle of wine or some mix-and-match beer from the beverage section in the Wegmans, then get some take-out burgers from Habit Burger across the parking lot (and skip the fries) then take them all home and eat them there.

I'm sorry but my experience was horrible. I went there with my family to try the burger and it was just like if I was eating plain meat with onions. No seasoning at all .i was expecting more from this chain.

This was a fantastic place to eat with my kids, delicious burgers and great service, will be back!

This place is great if you want an affordable quick meal that tastes like a gourmet burger you would get at a upscale restaurant.

While I enjoyed the maple bacon burger, the "Tuscan" fries had clearly been sitting around for awhile (stone cold) and were a bit overdone. YUCK!! I'd have sent it back but figured I'd fill up with an ice cream cone. And that turned out to be a worse experience than the fries. The chocolate frozen custard is absolutely delicious BUT the person clearly hadn't been trained and gave me a small when I asked for a large. It wasn't even a very good small, she didn't do it neatly the way you expect a cone to be, it was crooked. Seriously, don't have someone do a job that they aren't ready for! I should have asked for someone to redo it but they were a bit busy and I'd had to wait for awhile to begin with. Plus it wasn't the poor girls fault that she'd been asked to do something that she didn't know how to do. My advice? Be very specific that you want FRESH fries and make sure the person making your ice cream knows how to do it. You'll probably have a much better experience than I did. Wegmans is generally a very good experience, so I was surprised when my visit turned out to be so "meh."

Very disappointing dinner!!! I went to Wegmans with my wife and son to try the Burger Bar. My son ordered a plain cheeseburger and the Tuscan fries. I ordered a half "Great Santorini" salad with a burger (as a protein). My wife was smart and got food from the hot food bar (always good)! The burger was a disaster. It tasted weird and it was not cooked medium like I ordered it. It was rare. The blood from the rare burger oozed unto the salad and it made the whole salad taste bad. I am not sure what kind of beef was used to make the burger!! It did not have a beefy taste, it had a strange smell, and it just did not taste good at all. Even my son, who loves burgers and is not a picky eater, was surprised at how awful and tasteless the beef cheeseburger was. The fries were not fully cooked - they were cold inside. We love shopping at Wegmans, but the Burger Bar was a huge disappointment and I will probably never go back there again.
