The Bush Temple - River North

I have lived in the Bush Temple tower for the past six months and have had nothing but a pleasant experience here. While the previous property manager, Val, will be sorely missed, the other staff are friendly, helpful, and happy to assist with any questions or issues. I had a minor issue upon moving in that was resolved within 24 hours of putting a maintenance request in (very impressive!). The apartment itself is lovely with modern finishings, great amenities, and beautiful natural lighting. The apartment's gym offers a variety of equipment and the pool/rooftop lounge are great additions in the warmer months to host friends. Unfortunately I have been unable to attend the community events due to my work schedule, but the management team offers various book clubs/cocktail hours/exercise classes free of charge to residents. Overall, I have had a great experience living at the Bush Temple and would highly recommend this building to anyone looking for a high-quality apartment with expansive amenities in the central River North neighborhood.

I've lived here for the past two years, and the support staff here feel like family to me! All the front desk gals, Shenita, Kona, and Beena, as cleaning crew, Patricia and Claudia. I always feel comfortable approaching the front desk staff if I need help with something, but they all are just super personable people as well. If I've had a bad day, all I need to do is chat with one of them for a few minutes, and I automatically feel better :). The cleaning staff, Patricia and Claudia, are so hard-working, and truly do an amazing job keeping up with the cleanliness of the *whole* building. I've been so happy to call this place *home*! Living at The Bush Temple has been absolutely perfect over the past year. All the great reviews you read are completely true — the building is clean, quiet, and beautifully maintained. Val has been incredibly friendly and helpful, always adding a warm, personal touch to the experience. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, well-run place to live in the city.

I’ve loved living at the Bush Temple! The front desk staff are knowledgeable, friendly, and incredibly helpful. Move in was a breeze and I’ve loved using the amenities. Tony always ensured maintenance requests were taken care of in a timely and professional manner. I highly recommend!

Very happy with my experience in Bush Temple so far. One of my favorite things is the speedy and high quality maintenance team. Tony has always been there to quickly solve the minor issues that have came up. Reliable and great communication.

The Bush Temple apartments are so well maintained! The amenities are great and all the Bush Temple staff make this place so special! Val, Tony and the crew are the best in Chicago and make the apartment building feel like home.

I was having difficulty opening a closet door. So I put a maintenance request in. Within 10 minutes of the request being sent in. One of the maintenance men “ Genti” Was already knocking on the door. Had everything he needed and finish the door so quick. Anytime I have a maintenance problem I’m not worried about it now . Quick fix

Bush Temple Tower is a great place to live! I was one of the many initially turned off by this buildling when I came to read the google reviews but after learning that changes have been made since they were written I decided to give this place a chance and I am so happy I did! The buildling itself is beautiful and full of great ammenities. The ladies who work at the front door are so lovely as well as the managment team; everyone is willing to go above and beyond to make your experience at Bush Temple a good one. Don't let the reviews scare you, this is a great place to live!!

Loved living at The Bush Temple for the past 3 years. The Property manager, Val, is so dedicated to creating community and a quality experience for the residents. She goes above and beyond her duties to solve issues. Whether it's mopping a leak or handling a lock out at 2am, no job is too big or small. I am thankful to experience this level of care and kindness from management at the top. I am also abundantly grateful for the front desk staff that works tirelessly to organize the plethora of packages that come in everyday. No matter the hour, someone professional and kind is staffed and watching over the buildings most important asset --it's residents safety. THANK YOU! Finally, maintenance is phenomenal. You can count on your issues being handle in the timeliest of manners which has been a miracle for us at times.

This is an amazing place to live. Besides the ideal location, hands down the best part is the incredible staff. Manager Valerie (Val) is a consummate professional that lives in the building herself and runs the place with caring passion, dedication, and extreme professionalism. I've never felt so welcome and cared for. The building has a young vibe, mostly young professionals in their 20's. My wife and I are in our 50's but never felt out of place. We're living overseas currently but we'll be back, as this is our go-to place in Chicago to live.

Residing at Bush Temple has been a most enjoyable experience. Val in particular was a reason our experience was phenomenal. She upholds a warm and welcoming residence, and exceeds expectations to ensure we had a pleasant stay. There were multiple organized community events, promoting an exciting sense of belonging. The building is well designed and has a historic feel to it The roof top pool has a great view of the sky line and the gym has a raw underground boxer atmosphere which made for great workouts.

Move in was flawless. It's been a wonderful place to live and the staff is quite fantastic. I especially love the amenities and cleanliness of the building. Only flaw thus far is that there is a large waitlist for parking spaces.

Just visited and this place is beautiful! The lobby and common areas were beautifully designed, great looking and clean... interior design is important to me so I appreciated the mix of old and new. The aroma of the attached bakery/coffee shop was so great in the entry and with a convenient store attached to get fresh and healthy foods and snacks was wonderful! All the employees were so helpful and welcoming. New management has taken over and it's a complete turn around from before.... everything is taken care of immediately and you can tell. The staff is happy and work together well. If you have a need, they will help you. The views are spectacular too! Love the design of the apartments.... I would definitely put this as a top place to live in Chicago- great location- near shopping, great restaurants, Whole Foods and LifeTime. LOVE THIS PLACE!!

I would not recommend living here for quite a few reasons. The management is not the best and takes forever to address concerns or respond to emails. The maintenance crew will say that they take care of work orders that you put in, but they actually don't. The cleaning staff is always rude and does not clean either. They can be found hiding in the heated garage, out on smoke breaks, or up in the community floor on their phones. Lastly, the units themselves have many problems. The AC/heating units are controlled by the weather, meaning depending on the temperature only hot or cold air will blow out and they don't work half the time. The showers are always broken and if you even just slightly touch the shower head to adjust it, they break. The walls are paper thin, so you can hear your neighbor talking and understand exactly what they're saying. Lastly, the doors are super thin and have a huge gap under them, so you can hear when any person opens their door and walks in the hallway. Overall, don't move here. For how much rent is, you can pay the same price in a much better building.
