The Best Burgers in Palm Beach County | Eater Miami

"There’s little doubt that the Butcher and The Bar, a full-service butcher shop as well as a restaurant, is having a moment of fame. A visit from Guy Fieri and his Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives team tends to do that. Try the 5-ounce Florida beef burger with the addition of the pimento cheese, and maybe just go for it and make it a double. Other tempting house-made items on the menu are hot dogs (served only at lunch), sauerkraut, pickled vegetables, and even condiments." - J. Miller

We went at a time that was between lunch and dinner, very quiet but very professional. The service was really awesome very informative. Made some good suggestions. We had a couple of nice dishes see the pictures attached definitely will go back.

Food was pretty bad. We ordered tons. Salad. Fine. Pickle veggies and some cheese. Decent. Latkas. Tiny. Hard. Tasted burnt. Ceviche. Not edible, tasted like the fish was 4 days old. Literally had to spit it out. Chicken meatballs, order had 3 of them and they were the size of a quarter! Burger. Double patty but no sauces and very boring. The potato wedges were undercooked. Steak frites were actually best item on menu. The drinks were amazing. Def don’t go here for the food or appetizers. Not worth it at all.

We ventured out today to try the happy hour at Butchers Bar in Boynton Beach. If any place should have a good hamburger, it should be a butcher shop, right? Needless to say a big fat; NO!!! Let’s start with the price: $24 for happy hour. Yikes! Potato wedges: they tasted like they were left over from lunch or heated in a microwave. The burger itself is an 6 out of 10 stars on taste, but the patty was flat as a McDonald’s cheeseburger happy meal. At best, this is an $8 happy hour sandwich. There are MANY different places in the area for a better burger, such as The Office, Hyde Park, Farm House… the list goes on and on for a much cheaper price. We will be posting another review on our Instagram and webpage about the Butcher bar. Perhaps we may give them a chance to redeem themselves in the future.

Charming boutique-style restaurant with a thoughtfully curated menu featuring fresh, locally sourced ingredients. We started with the steak and fried rice appetizers and followed with the steak platter for our main course. A wonderful dining experience that balances creativity with quality.

This will be a very specific review as my experience might not be a normal one. First off, my father wanted to try the by style hot dog as seen on triple D. We got there at noon they open at 11Am and they ran out of it, so other get there early or call ahead? The day we went there was a birthday party that seemed to have reserved the inside space. The inside space is gorgeous, make reservations to secure it. The outside space isn't bad, but it's the outside and subject to wild life ie flies. I was understanding of above circumstances, the part that lost a star was the wait. We waited ~40 minutes before our order came out. We also waited ~10-15 trying to flag someone to give us the check. It might have been the party and an overwhelmed kitchen but it wasn't the most pleasant experience. On the food my mother loved her salad, dad loved the second choice of sausage (it had a fancier name, but it escapes me at ). I had the prochettaz which is good, but could have used more acid. I'd still try it again and make sure I dine inside and if you're trying the hotdog on DDD make sure it's available. Also tried a NA bloody Mary. Tasted great. Also this was the lunch menu... I'd love to try the dinner menu.

A meat lovers paradise. We had the meatball appetizer, which was fantastic, a perfectly cooked and delicious steak, a burger and Creme Brulee for dessert. The service was also first rate with our server giving us recommendations and full details on menu items given that it was our first visit. The only word of warning is that the dining area is relatively small so plan for waits during peak times. We arrived early at 5 PM so it was no issue for us. An awesome dining experience. We plan to visit again soon.

Loved our first visit. Ray was an excellent server and gave us great information and service -- thanks for recommending the bread pudding. We also enjoyed all the homemade ketchup, tomatillo aioli and hot sauce. The mains were yummy also. Will have to return to try the rest of the menu as well as some of the rye beverages. Highlight of our day!
