Love with this place everything was great! I mean everything! The food came out at a pretty decent time, with a wide variety of flavor profiles it was all really seasoned well and balanced perfectly! I had the Mahimahi and it's honestly the best i had in Minneapolis. The drinks were beautiful and the dessert were just delicious!! The staff were very attentive and lovely, knows how to have small talk, she was super sweet and nice and still professional. Loved the atmosphere👌 we went for a friend’s birthday and had a great time. Highly recommend for anytime occasions and very spacious!

The Club has been opened since January 2025. We (4 adults) decided to get brunch here after reading some good reviews. The service is good (our server Alexis did a great job). The location cannot be beat: great view of the Mississippi River and spacious layout of the place. The restaurant menu is a bit too ambitious: the Waffle was ok, the Breakfast Noodles was bland (I get better panfried noddles at other Asian restaurants), the American Breakfast was just so so, and the Arepa Benedict was just good. We’d come back during the warm weather to soak in the drinks and the views from the patio or inside, the foods are just not memorable.

Google
So happy Cabana Club has brought a great restaurant to one of Minneapolis’s best locations. The patio and backdrop alone make this an excellent experience. I hope it continues to stay packed. The happy hour and general prices were generous. It was a busy week night but service was pretty tough. Honestly we didn’t mind because it was a nice night and the manager acknowledged they were struggling a bit that night which was a professional gesture. The food was good! The Cubana sandwich and the Shaved Vegetable salad were the highlights. The salad concept was unique and delicious. The sandwich was crispy, decadent, and gooey. I didn’t care for the crispy garbanzo beans or the flank steak dish. The bed of kimchi and mushrooms for the steak looked pretty but was a bit odd flavored. The Paella arancini was solid. Overall I’ll definitely come back and try more of the menu and enjoy the amazing patio!

I was visiting from out of town and this was the first place we tried. It’s apparently a new spot on the river and did not disappoint. The people watching, food, and drinks were top tier. Perfect spot for a fun meet up with friends. Had a group of 7 so got the opportunity to try a lot of things. Their drink menu is amazing with an extensive selection of spirits. We tried the orange rose which was crisp and with the perfect amount of citrus notes. I also had their Mexico City cocktail and everyone at the table loved it. Perfectly balanced between sweet, smoky, and salty. So good that the high proof sneaks up on you. A must order. Food wise, you really can’t go wrong. Of the items we tried, I personally loved the papaya salad the most. It surprisingly came with a decent amount of heat but still bright, acidic, and refreshing. The chorizo arancini balls were also delicious and so were the tin fish, sprouts, and cauliflower. There were many other items on the menu like brisket pho and the desserts that looked amazing too but didn’t get to try. Would definitely come back if I’m ever back in Minneapolis.

Google
Beautiful restaurant, great food, and friendly staff! We were sat very quickly outside and my husband tried the Mexico City and Tulum drink. He liked them both but said the Mexico City was his favorite. I tried a NA drink with strawberries and mint and it was delicious. Would highly recommend the Cubano from the handheld section and the pork chop from the entrees. We definitely will be back to try out more of their menu. Service was slow but the waitstaff were very friendly. In their defense it was a busy night and the speed of service actually reminded us of our trip to Spain and some of the menu items were Spain influenced so we had fun reminiscing.

Google
Lovely new spot by the river! The location, atmosphere, and service are superb. I arrived shortly before my partner and the host stand remembered me by name and directed my partner to the table. Our server Jem stopped by right away and was super attentive throughout dinner. She had excellent recommendations and we enjoyed chatting about the menu with her. Great energy and service from all of the staff! Everything we ordered was delicious and we felt the recipes were unique and inventive. I was especially surprised and delighted but the tamal that came with the pork chop. We'll definitely be back and we're excited to try more of the menu.

Google
This place is a perfect patio spot for the summer months. It’s right on the river with great views of the downtown skyline and a covered patio that provides a ton of shade. The interior has great theming and offers a lot of indoor seating. The food is fantastic! Tons of flavor, vibrant toppings, and plenty of options. The drink Menu is also similar to a craft cocktail bar. Two thumbs up!

Google
We stopped on our way out of town for lunch. Absolutely fabulous service and a great variety of mouth watering food. Plus, the design, decor and atmosphere were perfect...Highly suggest! Plus, the scenery around here was beautiful. Don't forget to explore by foot once your stomach is full😊

Yelp
Such a perfect date night spot! My fiancé and i went here for our anniversary and felt like we were at a getaway vacation. Very pretty area. We went on a Tuesday and were sat right away outside without reservations. The happy hour is amazing. We ordered smash burgers, small apps and drinks. The service is superb. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Ambiance and the drinks and desert were awesome! Had the New Year's Eve surf and turf, The scallops were salty and the fillet could have been a bit better. But overall pretty good! Sam our server she was awesome! Thank you for a very nice evening

Yelp
Came here for drinks and apps mid afternoon on a Friday and the place was pretty busy, especially the outdoor seating (there's a nice patio out front). Service was friendly and polite, and though they got one of our orders wrong, we enjoyed everything we had. The butter board was great, though we had to "purchase" more bread since the ratio of butter to bread they give you doesn't make much sense, unless you are going to stack and eat a stuffed butter sandwich. Arancini was good too. Worth a stop along the way!

Yelp
Enjoyed a birthday dinner for a friend with a small group of girls on a Chilly Friday night. The food and cocktails were great and portions were huge. The ambiance and lighting inside in the winter is so cozy - it makes me excited to go back when it's warm and sit on the patio because arguably the best view of the river and city Minneapolis has to offer. Our server was quick and attentive and gave Great recommendations. I enjoyed my jerk chicken and gin cocktail.

Yelp
As much as I love the beautiful landscape and the stunning charm of St. Anthony Main, I can't quite say the same about the food experience. As a Vietnamese, I was surprised, and initially delighted, to see pho on the menu. That joy quickly faded when I saw the price: $21. I could internally feel my ancestors rolling in their graves. So naturally, I frugally opted for the Cubano instead. But first, we had to try the apps. However, the Brussels sprouts for the appetizers didn't live up to its steep price. I believe that roasted/baked Brussels sprouts should primarily be crispy, as their caramelized crunch is widely considered the superior texture, but unfortunately came all sauced up, mushy and soggy. The sandwich was solid: the meat was tender and a bit dry, but the cheese and other components worked well together. But the real star? The fries. Perfectly cooked and wonderfully crispy, they were the saving grace of the meal, much like the lovely surroundings. Service is nice and as expected.

Yelp
I came here for brunch with friends on a Saturday morning. I'd made a reservation, but honestly we wouldn't have needed one - the place was almost empty when we arrived. Our server was very attentive, and the atmosphere was pleasant. I ordered the lavender honey latte, which was delicious. For food, I got the brisket pho, which was unfortunately disappointing. The broth was tasty, but the meat was tough, and the noodles tasted stale. I'd definitely come back again but would order something else.

Yelp
This place was so cute and such a vibe! Our server was great and so sweet! She gave amazing recs and checked on us a good amount throughout our time there. The food was so good and came out quick! It is definitely on the pricier side and parking can be a little tricky, but it is also right off a bus stop too. If looking for a place to catch up with buddies or have a good yap session, I highly recommend this restaurant.
google avatar

Katie S.

Yelp
This is a beautiful spot along St. Anthony Main. The views and vibes are fantastic and the menu has a wide variety of food and beverages. The service was friendly and attentive. I look forward to coming back soon.

Yelp
Came for dinner, huge big wrap around patio with lovely views of the Mpls skyline and riverfront Unfortunately we had a hazy view due to the wildfire smoke but it didn't smell and was the most beautiful evening Loved the tropical cocktails- all tasted great and pretty I enjoyed my meal too- service was okay- a little slow at times but just attentive enough This place would be great for HH! The Mahi Mahi was a nice light refreshing dish- a little spicy with the fist few bites but yum The butter board app was good and unique Decent prices for the city Parking sucks in this area - limited street parking and can get very busy fyi

Yelp
Gorgeous views from the patio! Perfect place to be on a summer evening. We came out for Friday date night and the vibes were fire. Jerk Chicken (5/5) Highly recommend the Jerk Chicken - it was delicious, juicy and large enough to feed two people. It was served with the most delicious smashed and crispy plantain bananas I've ever had, and had a small cucumber salad on the side. Cuban (3/5) My Cuban Sandwich was just okay, not great. Service (4/5) It seemed there were only 2 servers working the large patio. Our server did great, but was not able to check on us frequently. Location can't be beat. After checking into the front desk at 6pm on a sunny Friday evening, they advised it would be a 30 minute wait. They took our phone number and we were able to enjoy a beautiful walk on a nearby trail before dinner.

Yelp
Great happy hour. I really enjoy the smash burgers and like the bacon jam. The butter board was disappointing for the price and i didn't like it. But the parmesan fries made up for it! Yum! The view from the patio is amazing, you can see the stone arch and the city, and the service is always great!

Yelp
Had an absolutely fantastic experience here! The patio seating was beautiful--perfect atmosphere for a relaxed evening out. We ordered the gochujang-marinated flank steak, piri piri shrimp, burrata, and sweet potato fries, paired with a wine flight. Every dish was a hit, but the flank steak stole the show--grilled to perfection and served with shiitake mushrooms and kimchi, it was bursting with bold, umami-rich flavors. The piri piri shrimp were also a standout--perfectly cooked with a spicy, flavorful kick. I brought my puppy along and the staff couldn't have been more welcoming. They were so sweet to him and even brought him treats, which made the whole experience even better. 100% coming back again--this place nailed it on food, ambiance, and service!
google avatar

Chris D.

Yelp
The main star is the view of downtown Minneapolis. Great location right next to the river. The food was 3 stars. Got the burger. It was interesting and ok. A little sweeter than I would want. Also the fries are à la carte which I haven't seen before when getting a burger which makes the meal pretty expensive. Parking is pretty limited but there is a parking garage near the area. Would recommend for the views and the ambiance.

Yelp
Fun new place! Came in for dinner before a movie at The Main and that is a fine combination of activities let me tell you. I didn't have a reservation and that relegated me to bar seating, but they have a huge, full-service bar that is well staffed with lively personnel, so I can't complain at all. Food was pretty good. I had a Cubano that I liked a lot, it was big and flavorful. I also tried an appetizer of Crispy Garbanzo Beans, which are very light. Like, as in they weigh very little. I'd recommend doing something to spice those up. If a bottle of Sriracha were handy I'd have added a few dashes. Prices were mid-to-high for food. Next time I cone I'll probably try one of their fancier entries. I definitely will be back pretty soon, and I expect it to be popular because it's got a really fun energy.
google avatar

Marie J.

Yelp
The Cubana Club is located on a beautiful historic street in Old Town. We dined outside on the patio. It was super busy. But the wait staff were all very friendly. The menu offers interesting entrees with a twist. For example, the Mexico City drink featured black salt.
google avatar

Steve G.

Yelp
Lovely new spot by the Mississippi. Perfect outdoor spot for a summer afternoon. We had the butter board, burata, sweet and spicy chicken wrap and summer salad. Cocktails and beer competed our order. On the food: butter board was incredible with three flavored butters. The rest were all very good, though too much dressing on salad! Best drink was the Victoria, second to the Tulum. Truly special.
google avatar

Stacy A.

Yelp
I love this location and was happy to try this new restaurant. PRO TIP: finding parking in this area can take a while, so plan ahead! The happy hour menu is pretty good, I tried the sangria and it was flavorful. I wasn't too hungry and got the brisket bites as my meal and it was yummy and more than enough food; if I had to give it one critique it's that the sauce was too sweet. I definitely plan to come back but hopefully when it's warmer and I can get a spot on the patio!
google avatar

Megan M.

Yelp
Is this my new favorite patio in the Twin Cities??? The view is gorgeous and the seating is great! Lots of tables. I went for their brunch and it was delicious. I got their quinoa bowl and it was veryyyy quinoa heavy, but still good. I also got the breakfast potatoes and coffee, both of which were great. My friends tried the waffles and arepas, and loved those as well. If you're looking for a killer patio and good food, this is the spot!
google avatar

Kendal F.

Yelp
Such a cute spot in northeast right in the river! Loved the variety of drinks and food. Two sandwiches and a side was a perfect amount to split between two people. I had never actually had a cubano before but I think I'll be ordering more in the future because it was delicious! My only note is that the drinks took a little while to come out so try to order right away and before you order any food!
google avatar

Emilee K.

Yelp
We came here for drinks and apps before a show - had to best time! The staff were incredibly helpful. Loved the Ibiza cocktail. The bread and butter board was SO good - my favorite was the citrus butter. The music and low lighting was such a vibe. And overlooking the city gave the perfect touch. Love this new spot!
google avatar

Micah L.

Yelp
I love trying new places so I had to hit this spot. Really great location for restaurants and views of the city but finding parking isn't always the easiest. Dimly lit inside, felt very intimate. Cool red lighting for the bar so it stands out. Ordered a couple dishes and drinks. I really enjoyed the food and drinks I ordered. They looked good and tasted good. Fairly priced even though it does add up lol. The stand out of the experience was our waitress Gem. We couldn't decide between a few things and she gave great recommendations and explained food and flavors so we could make a choice. At the time of my visit they had only been open a week but it was a great experience for me and I will be going back soon!
google avatar

Stephanie H.

Yelp
Wow what a great space! I loved the open floor plan and the bar gave off tiki vibes. The huge windows are also great since St. Anthony main is a beautiful backdrop. Their cocktails run on the sweeter side, but they have done their "travel" theme very well. I tried the Tokyo, which strangely had a piece of spinach in it instead of basil (maybe they ran out? lol), but it used the right amount of sesame which could have easily been overwhelming. The food was great, I wish I had been able to try more but I'm currently not eating meat. The brussel sprouts were my favorite, and the shrimp was also very good. I wasn't a fan of the cauliflower though - it seems like they mixed together Indian and Thai curry flavors in one dish which I didn't think worked very well. Service was good but it took a very long time for our food to come out, despite the place not being very busy. I know they've just opened though so there might just be some growing pains. I absolutely will be going back and recommending to friends.
google avatar

Tippy P.

Yelp
We went to check out this new restaurant right off main. We wanted to sit in the patio but the waiting list was too long, so we sat inside. Ambiance reminds me of tiki bar and tropical feeling. The food was a mixture of Latin and carribean fusion. We ordered sea bass crude, it was like a ceviche with plantain chips on the side. Mahi Mahi was really good. Their cocktails are also tasty.

Yelp
Came to Cabana Club for a friend's birthday brunch, the atmosphere is very tropical and the patio was lovely. I came in with a group of eight and we had a reservation about a month in advance. We had not been seeing very much content about their brunch on Yelp or online so we wanted to come in and check it out for my friend's birthday. Out of the eight, six of us ordered the Arepa Benedict. The Benedict was fantastic and truly was a wonderful representation of the Cabana Club brunch, this was very hearty, and the arepa added a nice element to the dish. The chipotle hollandaise was the perfect touch with the shredded pork. The side breakfast potatoes were fantastic, very well done and crispy with a nice seasoning, I usually don't eat the breakfast potatoes but these were exceptional. I also had a honey lavender latte, it came in acute glass and was perfect perfectly Instagram worthy. The food and aesthetic of the restaurant in general was very tropical. This is a 4 out of 5 star review mostly because everything was perfect until we decided to bring out the birthday cake. We mistakenly forgot to bring a serving knife to cut the cake and the restaurant server refused to give us one for some reason, stating something to the effect of it being a Minneapolis health violation of some sort. At other well-known high-end restaurants that I have been to in Minneapolis they have not only allowed for people to bring their birthday cakes for large party reservations but also accommodated by cutting the cake in the kitchen and providing individual servings. That's above and beyond birthday reservation accommodations, but clearly this restaurant is not as elevated as they claim on their website. Definitely noted for future birthdays if you choose to attend this establishment, they do not accommodate people bringing cakes for birthday parties. While the restaurant did give a complementary piece of chocolate cake with a scoop of ice cream and a candle, we were all left annoyed that the amazing cake that was brought specifically for my friend's birthday was left unattended to melt in the sun.
google avatar

Yelp
Beautiful restaurants sit in Riverfront, Mississippi. The restaurant is clean and has a very nice ambience with deck, dining, overlook the Mississippi. Friendly servers and staffs. The manual has a variety of different dish from one from a different country, which is nice.. the food was good. Depends on some dish and the cohesiveness of each dish varies. I just wish they had a little bit more of the main entrée dishes to select. They have a limited of dishes, but the dishes that we pick is actually pretty good. 4.5/5 overal.

Yelp
It would be criminal if we didn't take advantage of this gorg spring heat wave with a lovely patio meal. And our recent dinner at the cabana club was extra special because I got to celebrate Mother's Day with a visit from my wonderful mom. Upon being sat on the patio with a stunning view of the Mississippi and charming St. Anthony Main, my mom was greeted with a complimentary glass of Prosecco for the occasion (and no, you don't get a glass for every child you've birthed... trust me, she asked). Per the recommendation of our fabulous and eccentric waiter, we slurped on a couple of delicious tropical cocktails. There was plenty of shareable (or non shareable) food options to choose from, but I'm very please with our choices. The paella aranchini just barely outshone the others with its unique flavor and crispy exterior. The vibes, the service, the service, the food, the company all made for a delightful, warm Minnesota evening * Drink: Mexico City and Tulum * Food: brussel sprouts, paella aranchini, mahi mahi
google avatar

Margaret S.

Yelp
Wow! The flavor combinations are out of this world! A group of 3 dined in Friday evening First time for two of us The cocktails are so much fun! The food was incredible My favorite was the jerk chicken Excited to check out brunch soon! Service was impressive and the vibe was super chill
google avatar

Charlie P.

Yelp
Great dinner! Definitely make a reservation. It fills up and likely will continue to as the weather gets nicer. They have the patio open with a great view of the Mississippi. The chocolate cake is AMAZING! You have to save room for it, it was the favorite. We got the catch of the day which had good flavor and was mahi mahi. The garbanzo beans were a bit spicy so just be mindful. The brisket tips were tender but did have a horseradish taste in the sauce depending if that is what you fancy. Really good crispy fries. Lots of fun tropical cocktails. Parking is tricky with the busy St Anthony area so give yourself time.
google avatar

Cathy P.

Yelp
Such a great place to sit and look at the river and enjoy good food. We have always had good service. We love the chicken skewers, the fish and the chicken. It's a little spicy. Drinks are great too. More photos next time.

Yelp
My husband and I had date night here and it was so good with a great view. The food was so filling that I finished it there. We sat outside and when it rained the waiter was quick to move us inside to a seat.
google avatar

Anthony S.

Yelp
Wow! This place truly is beautiful inside and the location is perfect! Perfect views of the city of DT Minneapolis, river, and bridge (picture provided). Modern look across the establishment with a gorgeous red glow near the bar that really adds to atmosphere. Our waitress was awesome, friendly, suggestive, and attentive. Really did a great job! Sorry, I don't recall her name. Their cocktail is awesome because they offer high, medium, low, and zero proof options (pictured below)! Where can you even find that!? BTW, the brisket bites are FIRE ! Please get as a starter for yourself. Our drinks were delicious, flavorful, and we're crafted perfectly (pictured below). I really like the "passport" they give with your bill so that different customers can leave notes. That's a really cool idea! Overall, this place was awesome with any incredible location. They're going to thrive in the Summer and we'll be there! - Anthony

Yelp
Loved The Cabana Club! The Bloody Mary was great, the breakfast sandwich was delicious, and our server was amazing. Great food, drinks and vibe!
google avatar

Yelp
The Cabana Club was a perfect unique and moody bar for happy hour tonight. The service was friendly and quick. We didn't order any food, but the table next to us seemed very happy with several dishes. The vibes are immaculate

Yelp
Celebrated the start of my birthday week here! It was delicious, romantic, and super fun. Definitely a classy establishment
google avatar

Sarah S.

Yelp
Fun spot on the river, great indoor and outdoor space! Tasty cocktails and food. Went for cinco de mayo yesterday! Picante Marg wasn't very spicy unfortunately, but still refreshing! Don't take rests outside, parking is paid on the street.
google avatar

Mary V.

Yelp
I loove pina coladas and this place has an amazing one, I ordered two! Plus you get amazing views of the Mississippi River on the patio and good eats too!
google avatar

Lana J.

Yelp
I tried this place for the first time tonight the food was decent. The service was bad. I sat on the patio with a few girlfriends and the server started out good but then he wasn't very attentive. He would never come back over and it was really hard to even get the bill to leave or even get a drink. I sat with Out a drink for over a half an hour. I probably won't return because of this. I was very disappointed with the service. I have been wanting to try this place for a very long time so I'm very disappointed.
google avatar

Christy H.

Yelp
Took a well deserved break after sketching the Stone Arch Bridge on a hot and humid day. Treated myself to their shaved vegetable entree with the tastiest alt meat. Finished it off with an outstanding crem brule. Ambiance - on vacation
google avatar

Rocel H.

Yelp
The Cabana Club In Minneapolis is by far one of my favorite brunch spots! I am a sucker for eggs Benedict's and their arepa Benedict hit the spot for sure! Their steak and eggs were also a hit for my partner! Service was great as well we were seated immediately on a Sunday which was nice. The location is perfect! Such a pretty view of the city which we loved:) we will be back again for sure whenever we're in town!
google avatar

Yelp
Food is reallly good. Drinks were yummy as well. Nice views of the river and the beautiful downtown MPLS. My favorite was hands down the burger and Pho
google avatar

Sharna B.

Yelp
Delicious food, amazing views and good service. Seems the menu changes frequently so don't set your heart on a specific item cause it might not be there when you go. Overall a great experience. I will definitely be making my way back again.
google avatar

Carie S.

Yelp
Amazing patio right along historic Saint Anthony, Maine with creative dishes from around the world.Great spot!!!
google avatar

Yelp
Such a cute interior and kind staff. Love all the unique drinks and variety of food. Favorited are the smash burger, mushroom pasta, and the pork sammy
google avatar

Ashley N.

Yelp
Beautiful restaurant! Make sure to make a reservation because this place was packed! I highly recommend the smash burger. The cocktail menu is pretty extensive, so don't be afraid to ask your waiter/waitress to guide you to a selection. Without a dedicated lot, plan on street parking or utilizing a local ramp + a little walk.
google avatar

Carly S.

Yelp
Totally recommend this restaurant for a beautiful aesthetically, pleasing interior- they very much hit the tropical/vacation theme perfectly. The food also absolutely holds its own and is delicious. Check out my food insta for more @cutiexfoodie

Yelp
We have had several great experiences at Cabana Club. The patio is the best new patio in the Cities, shaded by trees and umbrellas, with a view of the river and Old Main. The butter board, chicken skewers and burger were all very good, and I've heard great things about the chicken sandwich. Our server, Paulina, was fantastic - friendly and attentive, and was very knowledgeable about the menu.
google avatar

Isabel A.

Yelp
This place is so good!!! First time and won't be my last. The service was great and fast. Food was phenomenal (the tomato butter was DELISH). The low lighting inside was so relaxing and the view was to die for!! 10/10 experience!!!!
google avatar

Yelp
Cool new spot on Saint Anthony Main that opened just a few months ago. Went to happy hour and was not disappointed! We snacked on some fried garbanzo beans while consuming an aperitif shot and sangria before devouring the burger. Everything was tasty and service was on-point. We'll be back for more!

Yelp
Great patio view of the Mississippi river and the food was also good, my favorite dish was the chicken skewers which they used lemon grass for and it really addd a lot of flavor!
