Google
The Cage is top notch ! They have great equipment, coaches and staff. Been going there for the last 12 years and it has changed my game ! If you are looking for dedicated positive coaches or just a place to get some practice in ,then The Cage is for you !!!

Google
Our 13U team went down to Huntington Beach for tournament, and we were able to reserve multiple lanes ahead of time including pitching machine for team Batting practice. Definitely would like to come back next time

Dan DeCristofaro

Google
Incredible value with experienced staff. We take all of our teams here!

Google
Nice indoor cages. There is an upstairs for the parents to hang out or watch their kids in the cages. The cages are pretty cool because there is a front part with a batting tee and net, and a back part with a pitching machine. Minus one star because we reserved 2 cages and one of the machines malfunctioned, sending the balls into the side netting. Upon adjusting, the machine almost hit the batter... We ended up having to do coach pitch for the rest of the hour.

Google
My daughter want to try a new batting cage and we find this one was near Not a lot of cages seems super small And I say seems because we went in and stood at the counter for a while (about like 7mins) and no one came to help, no "I'll be right with you" Or at least a "what you want". a person that looks like works there just look at us, So we decided to just leave Never coming back here Can't give a less than a 1⭐ 0 customer service

Yelp
Sorry Los Al folks, unfortunately I like going to businesses where the staff isn't rude and have a little bit of personality. At least the cages are clean. I've given The Cage enough tries to where I can safely say "it's time to stop trying and find new batting cages."

Yelp
Great staff was super friendly and helpful! My boys and I were able to get our work in, prices are also very reasonable.

Yelp
Nice indoor batting cage facility located within an industrial complex in Los Alamitos. Young man working the front counter has always been friendly and helpful. The automatic, coin-operated pitching machines have been pretty good so far on our visits. Occasionally a pitch will come at you outside of the strike zone, but the majority are consistent. Some of the balls we've noticed are battered and torn, but most are still in good shape. You can buy tokens for the machines individually for $1 each (each token gives you 12 pitches), or get 11 tokens for $10 and save a buck. We've also been redeeming a "1 free token with Yelp check-in" when we go. Yelping continues to have its privileges! They have two larger cages for private batting lessons. Also note that on some weekends the cages are occupied by little leagues who rent out the facility for their own teams to have batting practice. There are also professional coaches you can sign up with for private batting lessons. Prices vary depending on the specific coach's credentials and background. Overall this is a great little batting cage available nearby.

Yelp
Came in for an hour of hitting off the machine to have the iron mike break down when starting hour. Waited 30+ minutes while they tried to fix it just to be told I could get my refund or get thrown to by a staff member . As there were other cages that had machines but were being used only to front toss and throw live which is a unconventional way of making use of all cages. Machines should be checked prior to a reservation when stated it will be needed so people do not show up to equipment that doesnt work and only get refunded for a service they couldnt provide and had me wait so long just to tell me that.

Yelp
This week was the 1st (and last) trip after "the remodel". Definitely will not be going back. This place is no longer a quick user friendly place to go if you wanted to go and hit balls. Which been going here for years. Guessing most of the repeat guests will also find somewhere else to go. Its no longer about hitting balls, its designed to make $ with private lessons or hit in a cage that looks like a cluster F* with a bunch of other equipment items in the hitting cage. Minimum price is also 15.00 for 15 minutes of hitting = pretty expensive vs a place that accepts tokens With the old set-up, 5-6 tokens was perfect (even their punch card was 6 tokens). Now to go hit, you have to spend 3x's as much money as the old setup.

Yelp
Great service. Came here with my 8 year old son with Autism to take a few swings on the soft pitch machine. After about 15 mins my son was ready to leave due to the sensory of feeling the vibration of the bat cracking the ball. The gentleman at the front desk noticed and suggested I try the cage with the baseball t, so he can get the use to the motion of swinging the bat without the cracking of the bat and feeling the vibration. He let me use it with out paying, which I felt was generous. I also had two bucks worth of tokens to use for the cage. I wanted to give them back for allowing me to use the additional cage but he said use it for next time. This was very generous of him and my son enjoyed his time there.

Yelp
The slowpitch softball cages are literally always down. Always call before you come...hopefully they'll actually answer the phone. People that should be working the front desk are either on their phone not paying attention or off chatting with random people every time I come. One time I literally waited 15 minutes at the front desk waiting to buy more tokens and no one showed, little did I know the guy working was just chatting with some of his buddies instead of actually working. OC has a major lack of batting cages period. If you're desperate come here, otherwise avoid it and save your time.
google avatar

Melissa S.

Yelp
I've been coming here for a Few months now to give my lessons in hitting for softball. They are always busy hosting team batting practices in the cage and private lessons as well. There are 6 ( I believe) cages and one large cage big enough to do two live pitching circuits. This place is always clean, friendly and willing to help Out teams. The only thing I can say is that I've noticed a lot of their tees seem to be broken. I just bring my own now, but for someone that wants some tee work, just giving you a heads up.

Yelp
Very nice place. Don't let the indoor fool you tho... they don't have air. But still a great clean place. We first called to make sure they weren't busy... and we were the only ones there the whole time. 12 balls for $1 average price .

Yelp
Nice clean facility! Has great energy, good facility for all levels!! Hit trax available too.

Yelp
We took our son here this weekend. We live about 20-25 mins away. Worth the drive. Excellent cages. Prices were reasonable. Nice setup and it's clean. The guy manning the counter (wearing a UFC hat) was kinda rude tho. That's why I didn't give them 5 stars. Because of the customer service.

Yelp
This is one of the few indoor batting cages in the area so I decided to check it out before my rec softball game. There's about 4 automated cages as well as 2 training areas. The automated cages run on tokens which makes it easy to get quick BP in. Me and my friends were in the far right batting cage for slow pitch. Pros: Not super busy and uses token machines ($1 for 12 pitches). Also can reserve a cage in 30 min. increments. Cons: The batting area was a little narrower than what I'm used to. My follow through was often getting stuck in the netting behind me. Also, there were times where I hit hard down the rightside line and a 8-10 year old kid in the training cage was standing way too close to the netting WITHOUT A HELMET ON and almost got hit. They should really not have loose netting on that rightside cage, or at least mark off where people should NOT be standing while in the training cages, OR require kids to wear hard helmets if they are in those training cages not being supervised properly by an adult.

Yelp
This place is a hidden gem. Had such a good time I came back with my kids and the neighbors, I'll be coming back soon. Thanks for the good time.

Jose U.

Yelp
My kids love this place rain or shine we can get our work in! coach victor is awesome and Andrew diharce always on top of things for what ever we need!!!
google avatar

John V.

Yelp
Constantly terrible service.. Why patrons continue to go back is beyond me. Don't buy coins until you are 100% sure you can use them. I'll tell you one thing, the kids behind the counter are the brightest kids on the planet and just looking at them will make you feel stupid. Good luck if you decide to spend your hard earned money on punk kids.

Yelp
Been a long time fan of this place, even when they were at the smaller location. Their new bigger location is awesome & can accommodate numerous baseball teams (& softball as well) as well as having different hitting stations for one on one coaching. The baseballs fly true & in the strike zone & not all over the place. Its an indoor facility which makes it that much better. If a problem comes up or the pitching machine jams, the staff (Ryan) are on it within seconds & your time is adjusted by the front desk staff (Kelsey). If your a baseball coach looking for a great batting cage location with great staff...then look no further...The Cage at Los Alamitos is your place!

Yelp
The facility is clean, staff is awesome, and it's a good time! Came here on a cold rainy night. My friend and I were the only ones here and were greeted by Christian. We did a few rounds of the token operated cages before Christian showed us the cool new toy they had-- Infrared virtual baseball! He threw us a few rounds of pitches and we had a great time. It was my first time at a batting cage but I will definitely be back!
google avatar

Ed E.

Yelp
Really friendly guys here. The pitching machines are a bit inconsistent and have to be adjusted more than not, but the guys are happy to help when needed.
google avatar

Aaron R.

Yelp
Very good place to get in some swings. The staff are friendly and the prices are reasonable!

Yelp
I wish I could give this place zero stars. My husband and I came there Sunday 1/8/17 looking to hit, and some guy came up to the counter and was completely rude and I am sorry an idiot to both of us. He basically stated all the cages were occupied and that each person had about 10 tokens, and we were like "okay fair enough, first come first serve." So I continue to ask, "how long do you think until they are completed?" His response: "uh i don't know awhile." Um what? So I reply back: "Okay, how long does a token normally take?" His reply: "Uh a few minutes I guess." This guys was completely unhelpful, and honestly I don't plan on coming back. Look, I get your cages are full, but don't be rude to prospect customers, or else you lose out on future business.

Courtney B.

Yelp
Normally it's great. Very nice kids who work there except one who you can tell is always trying to skip out early or have an easy work day. Which his co workers have confirmed in a joking manner lol but when you open at a certain time and nobody picks up the phone or it rings twice before getting to sent to voicemail which seems odd is annoying. After an hour of calling and I finally get someone. I ask Andrew what time they opened and he said 2 so I asked if they were busy.. he said nah not really. So I said oh.. I've called five time in the last hour and nobody answered and all he can respond with is "oh." stay busy bud

Yelp
Bad business man! I paid for a one hour lesson for my child that the owner accepted the appointment, then cancelled it and rescheduled it for a different time without even contacting me. In fact, I had to call them to find out if my kid even had a lesson. It turns out they changed it to a time that I could not keep so I asked for a credit. It has taken three calls, and I am still waiting for the credit to come through as well as a call from the owner. Don't spend your money here or waste your kids time. Give to someone who cares about their business.

Jason W.

Yelp
Only five cages here. Machines often out of sync and throw balls. Staff attentive and will fix it but takes a while. Balls often get stuck in tubes and then again, staff has to go back there and fix it. Happens fairly often. Staff will always give you back tokens though which is nice. Decline in hill leading to ball collection poor so balls don't go back into the system. Need to be pushed in constantly. Cages sizes are wider which is nice bats never hit the fence on follow through. Small waiting area gets crowded when teams are renting. Website Open/Close times inaccurate so call before you go. We went yesterday when website said they were open, doors open, sign says open, but employee says they're closed. Kids were bummed out.

Yelp
Great consistency with the pitch speed and location. Stopped on by and picked up the 60 token deal. Will definitely be returning.

Johnny P.

Yelp
I hit at this indoor cage 2-3 times a week ! The Cage over all is clean and hitter friendly with machines that will hit the strike zone 9 outta 10 times ! The Baseballs are authentic , leather , solid and fly off the bat ! I honestly won't hit anywhere else! Looking into buying a membership tomorrow. 1-8-18

Yelp
My son has been taking private lessons from Scott and it's helped him tremendously. He's learning the correct form and mechanics for batting and it's improved his confidence at the plate. We've frequent this place with batting cage practices for many years with his youth baseball leagues but the lessons have really made a huge difference. He's actually more excited to play games and face the faster pitchers. I highly recommend not only using the facility for your individual and team practices but also scheduling some lessons.
google avatar

Amy L.

Yelp
Great place, friendly staff. It's nice because you can pay for one token for 12 balls and not have to commit to being there long. It's $1 for 12 pitches which is one token. They are willing to adjust the machine to whatever level pitch (high or low) as well as how fast of a pitch. Also, my son had private lessons with Scott. He has helped improve his batting a lot. Scott is super nice so my son likes going and is learning a lot. He has helpful tips, for example he said his batting helmet was too big. He wears glasses so it's always hard finding a batting helmet. so now he wears a hat or beanie under the batting helmet and he sees the ball much better. Thank you Scott!

Beverly C.

Yelp
I like this place because their pitching lane rental is cheap compare to anywhere else! Staff is helpful and attain to your needs.
google avatar

Matthew P.

Yelp
I've taken my son's team here several times now and it's been a great experience each time. Sometimes (like any cage) the machines could use some adjusting but that's when their staff comes into play. Great people, responsive, and helpful. Overall, I believe this is one of the better values as well. We're going this afternoon!

Ryan S.

Yelp
Clean, fun, and easy batting cages. Liked the fact that we could pitch to ourselves. For slow pitch softball, it was good for the team since more than just the batter was involved!
google avatar

S N.

Yelp
Loved coming to this place-- but not likely coming back. They didn't even bother giving back tokens after a machine pitches the balls into the ground. As coming in by myself hitting by tokens, they bumped me out of the cage because of reservation. While there are open cages, they didn't even get me to an another cage and helping out on machines for group reservations. Well, I might come back with leftover tokens to work on my plate discipline.
google avatar

Bill M.

Yelp
Seriously, I will hate when this place gets blown out. We went back again in preps for LAYBS and $4 later and 48 swings is just enough warmup for my 8 year old + a couple of sour patch vines for after the swings. The guys that work here are GREAT - very laid back but also very HELPFUL. TV's on in the background with sports of course. Plus a quick grip wrap didn't hurt either! This place is a HOMERUN! Ha, there I said it...

Chris N Jenn P.

Yelp
We like the Cage but unfortunately we get turned away more often than we get to hit due to how busy it is. Most of the time the young men working the front are way overwhelmed to be doing it on their own especially during peak hours in the evening.
google avatar

Yelp
I love the cage....atmosphere, people, and above all batting practice at a very reasonable cost...The whole family can enjoy it....
google avatar

Yelp
Great facility! I bring my son and my teams here all the time. Great curveball and fastball machines.

Yelp
My family loves The Cage ~ It's family owned and operated ~ good atmosphere ~ reasonably priced ~ always sending out great deals, especially needed in these hard economic times!! We recommend The Cage!!!

David B.

Yelp
Clean facility, friendly staff, free loner bat and helmet, 12 balls for $1. I will be back.

Troy K.

Yelp
One of the best batting cages in SoCal! Scott runs a class act facility. Cages ranging from all speeds. You can rent hitting and pitching tunnels. Great batting And pitching instruction available. Lucky to have it so close to My home. I take my son here all the time. Would recommend The Cage at Los Alamitos to anybody!
