The Cajun House

This I would say is a hidden gem. My second time visiting in 3 days. I believe I found a new favorite drink Mango Avocado Sago!!! The grilled skewers are amazing tried 3 new ones this trip. Had the Szechuan PorkSpareRib Noddle Soup and would rank it in my top dishes. If you are ever in the area and get a chance give this place a try.

When we went around 1pm there was plenty of street parking. The place is spacious. We got the medium spice house cajun sauce. Its pretty up there for me in seafood boil.

The Cajun House is so good and has so many unique different types of foods that you cannot find on any other restaurants menu in the area. I recently stopped in and had the soft shell crab and fried frog legs. Both were excellent. Great seasoning on the batter. Great portions for the price. They also have a great selection of specialty drinks and beer to choose from. Service was quick and friendly. I'll be going back soon to try some of the more unique menu items like spicy pork brains, intestines soup, and pork feet. If you're an adventurous eater like me, check out their menu.

Ever since before the pandemic, I have been visiting this establishment relatively frequently since it's difficult to find a Chinese BBQ spot in the Twin Cities, and as much as it used to give me a stomachache almost every time, it was worth it because the food is very authentic and I would recommend it to those seeking Chinese BBQ, even though it also has cajun style seafood options available, which I have had before as well. My friend and I returned here earlier this year and it was my first time going there since the pandemic, and I am happy to say that I think they have maintained their food quality. I didn't even get a stomachache this time, which meant that their meat kebabs were not undercooked anymore, which was for sure a good thing. I don't have anything specific to recommend because when it comes to Chinese BBQ, it's really just a "whatever you feel like" type of situation based on your preference, but I can safely say that pretty much everything I have had was a hit in authentic ways. Not the best spot I have ever been to for this kind of cuisine, but great regardless given how scarce Chinese BBQ is here. Hopefully this can at least help some know that they can come here for authetic Chinese BBQ, at least!

I have been to this place for over five years now!!! The food here is sooo yummy with such a wide range of options!!! My favorite is all the BBQ and the stir fry and the boba!! The owners are sooo nice and friendly🥰🥰🥰 Really is an underrated must go place if you love Chinese food!!!‼️‼️

Only because I cant give a 10 out of 5!!!! AWESOME: ---> SERVICE – quick and efficient without being overbearing ---> FOOD ---> PORTIONS ---> VERY “reasonably” priced!!! The “meal” I had? $53.00 – VERY reasonable in my view……the price of two sandwiches at a place I frequent often – established 1958 (since I cant name them here) and this is MUCH better – more bang for the buck) Fried Vietnamese Spring roll - three – cooked to perfection Shrimp Fried Rice - “they” DON’T “skimp” on the shrimp – very flavorful!! Black Pepper Chicken – again - “they” DON’T “skimp” on the portions – very flavorful!! Beef Kebabs – WOW!! VERY tender and flavorful!!! The steak/(beef) VERY tender and seasoned perfectly!!! Also – this place is CLEAN – CLEAN - CLEAN!!! Quick to clean up after guest depart – the floors (to me a very good indicator of the restaurants commitment to “cleanliness”) their floors? Immaculate!! The food is cooked to order – so it takes a little longer – but (“art”) – great cooking does – the “wait” is NOT “terrible” – I was there on a Saturday night and they did AWEOME!!! So, if your ever in town….looking for a great place to eat? This is the place!!

Food came out quick! So many options. I actually enjoyed the simple smashed cucumber with a sweet soy and peanuts more than anything today. I look forward to exploring more of the menu.

This place is in front of a somewhat busy street. We parked in front of the building, which you have to pay for the meter. The inside is very spacious, it was just us and one other group. The options are endless. Food came out pretty quick and still hot. All the food we had was good and flavorful, although it's on the pricier side. Portion size was decent.

This place is authentic Chinese style with Cajun flavor. Lobster combo is SO good, but I don't like that the hot food is put in a plastic bag within a pale. It's hard to get the food out. Everything else is great! It seems like they are short staffed, so service is a little slow. But I will definitely come back again!

Do not be fooled, oh friends-- this is not a Cajun restaurant. While yes, they serve beautiful looking Cajun seafood boils, that probably taste as good as they smell, the true gem is their Chinese food. Probably the best I've had in the twin cities, perhaps even in the Midwest. We came for the 烧烤-- barbecue skewers. I didn't grab a picture of the beef skewers we started with as we were too quick to eat them. Absolutely stunning. The beef was inundated with cumin and chili, and was quick to arrive, piping hot. The prince of this meal was the eggplant (of which we ordered two :0). The garlic sauce was intoxicating. I will warn that you may be sweating garlic for a week after, but it was well worth it. You won't be thinking of anything else. The princess was the bean curds (豆皮）。stuffed to the brim with enoki and greens, it was meaty, crispy, and fresh. We didn't need to order the chives because of how much veg was in the tofu skin. Again, fodder for my dreams. The King of the meal was the noodles. Steamed rice noodle with beef flank. OH. MY. GOD. The beef was falling apart tender-- sweet with star anise and cinnamon. The noodles were fresh and spongy, and soaked up the decadent sauce. The woman who helped us flipped fluidly between English and Mandarin, and was kind, joyful, and clearly proud of the incredible food this restaurant could offer. All in all, amazing. Not to be cheesy, but this place is incredible.

Great marketing by those within the Cajun community has Asian restaurants calling themselves cajun. With that being said I walked from my hotel to this place to to pick up a couple of things to take back to my room. I visited The Cajun House and was impressed with the restaurant's ambiance and menu offerings. I ordered the Mango Pomelo Sago ( Mango pomelo sago is a type of contemporary Hong Kong dessert. Diced mango, pomelo, sago, coconut milk, and milk) It was okay just lack the flavor I expected. I also ordered the Spicy Fried Chicken Wings since they didn't have the Korean Chicken Wings. The wings weren't close to being spicy but they were good and crispy. Overall, The Cajun House was okay and I would visit again if in the area.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this place!!! The best seafood boil in MN and the fried rice is amazing. The mango smooth is also so delicious. Service is amazing, the lady is always so friendly and welcoming.

great food love it. but answering the phone isn't a thing for them i just isn't a thing for these mfs. i called like 6 times within a hour and nothing and ik they have a phone that works cuz i was just there

It's across from Fairview Clinic, kind if easy to miss. We had the seafood boil, and it was of variable quality. Food: Went with my in-laws, who asked if the crawfish were live (and were assured that they are), and I'm inclined to believe them. The crawfish was the best part of the boil: we had the green mussels, crab legs, baby octopus. [They were out if clams this day.] Everything except the crawfish was very... fishy, kind if rubbery. It tasted just barely on the okay side of old. Even the corn tasted super frozen-- and I have no problem with frozen corn, but it was dehydrated and sad when cooked? Like it was frozen corn that was then over-microwaved? The seasoning and sauces were good though, as were the potatoes (though the russet potatoes were a tad too big, so the flavor never soaked through-- they definitely should've cut these in half or in thirds). Service: Quite friendly, a reasonable speed. Attentive, plus had all that was necessarily for a successful crawfish boil: bibs, napkins, the crab-eating accoutrements. Ambience: Decor was seafood-kitsch, with some netting on the walls and life preservors, etc. Kind of falling into disrepair though... There was some clutter (stacks of cardboard boxes, tangles of wiring, a super large freezer) in corners, but it wasn't disruptive. Bathrooms: Two stalls in the ladies room, clean but also kind of falling into disrepair (very dim and several light bulbs needed to be replaced, painters tape holding up a vent, unpainted drywall patches). Parking: Street parking only, it seemed. It was bad, it wasn't great. Food was hit or miss, and everything else was FINE, but only just.

I love the concept and I've been to other restaurants who have the same concept. However, this was the worst rendition of the "choose your seafood, flavor and heat" that I've witnessed. The Good: The prices are reasonable, the portion sizes are nice and the shrimp are really good. The corn and potatoes were pretty good as well. The Not-So-Good: Lack of freshness - I ordered soft-shell crab as an appetizer and it was easily the worse I've had. Normally, soft-shell crab is one of my favorite things to eat. Unfortunately the crab tasted like it had gone bad, so I couldn't finish it. For my meal, I ordered the head-on shrimp and crawfish combo. The shrimp were big and tasted great and I loved that there were a lot of them in the bag. A few times, I thought I had just eaten my last one....then I'd find another. The crawfish were a different story. I know it wasn't crawfish season, so I expected to have frozen crawfish. What I didn't expect is to have bad tasting crawfish. They tasted as if they had gone bad and then been frozen. Since half of my bag was crawfish, I didn't want to waste my food or money. After forcing myself to eat 2, I couldn't eat anymore. They were THAT bad. I chose the juicy cajun flavor and the "burning" heat level. The flavor was good, but the burning was a bit of a let down. It definitely wasn't as hot as I had hoped. The service was a bit slow as well due to only having one waitress, so this probably isn't the best place to go on your lunch break.

Compared to other Cajun restaurants in the Twin Cities, this one is the best one. We also like that they have very good Chinese dishes in addition to the Cajun choices. The prices are also very reasonable. For $50 you can get a seafood combo boil, including lobster, which is plenty to feed two people quite well. The service is also very friendly. We highly recommend this place.

Delicious! The squid, beef, and tendon kebabs were my favorite kebabs and the oysters were amazing! Highly recommend!

Ever since I found this place this is my go to spot for shrimp or chicken fried rice! The owner lady is sweet too! Always remembers what we order!

This place is probably one of the best places to get Cajun style seafood in MN! Also it's located right by the U of M and by the Green Line. The staff are always friendly and the place is really cozy and decorated in a cute way! I also appreciate how clean and prepare this place is being that eating Cajun food can be kind of messy! I enjoy the combine meals the most with crayfish and shrimp in the house sauce! Although the bubble tea is just okay, the snow mountain drink is very creamy and delicious!

Missing Houston can here for the Cajun boil it's was very tasty but expensive would not have paid as much in Houston over all will visited again not to often.

Can be spendy if you're looking for a cheap meal, but worth it for the right food. Cajun is Cajun to me. The seafood is good. Had the shrimp, mussells, corn, sausage and crab. All tasted like how they should have. We tried the garlic butter sauce. It was good. Salty, garlic, rich, flavorful and a real mess once you dig in. Beef skewers: Nice char, salty, sweet, and a bitterness from the char. Really good. I can usually contain my need for rice but not this time. Cajun fries: Seasoning salt on top of fries. Double spicey beef noodle soup: Really good. The last time i tried the soup, it was bland. This time tried the double spicey. It was really good. Salty, sweet, dark broth. The star anise flavor is very prevalent in the dish. The meat portions are big. A good alternative to pho. Pork spare rib mini hot pot: Very simple and good. Small pieces of pork spare ribs stir fried with onions and covered in an oyster/soy sauce mix. Salty, sweet, hot in the bowl. Meat doesn't fall off the bone but this was probably the most enjoyable dish i had there.

Chinese/Cajun, with seafood. Still scratching your head? Well we were happily surprised about how delicious the seafood boil was here! We split the Seafood Combo 4, which was more than enough for us. I was a little skeptical when we ordered, but I was transported back to Slidell, Louisiana and the seafood boils there when our bag of boil arrived! The Cajun spices were spot on! Watch the hours of operations! They close at 2:30pm and reopen later. I saw other entrees leave the kitchen that I would like to try in the future: Hot Pot, BBQ, and soup!

This place was so good! Prices a high but worth it if you're looking for something small but tasteful! Got the snow crab legs and split it.

I went here a few weeks ago for my lunch break. I can't tell if the owners are the same or not but it seems like it's still a Korean/Cajun fusion. I came in and was seated pretty quickly. I was originally wanting one of the Po'boy sandwiches they advertised on the Yelp page. So when I didn't see it on the hard copy menu I asked. After talking with the chef they didn't yet have it. Pretty disappointed since if you're going to advertise an item then you should be able to make it. So I ordered a half order of the shrimp instead. I like that they give you options for heads on or off etc. Unfortunately the coconut sauce I ordered to go with it was unavailable as was the taro bubble tea. The waitress seemed flustered as she kept having to come tell me something was unavailable. How do you think I felt?! The food came and they give you gloves as well as a long napkin to go around your neck. Awesome since I had to go back to work in an hour. The shrimp came with potatoes and a piece of corn. I have to say the spice and Cajun flavor was just not there. I've had Cajun food in Chicago and New Orleans before and this was not up to par. The shrimp was flavorless unless I happened to dredge it in the oil and spices. Even then, it wasn't spicy at all and I ordered the high level. It's not what you would think of for Cajun food and maybe they're trying to appeal to the MN palette After all the fuss and semi good service I went home full, but not very happy. Either way, I won't returning unless other yelpers rate it high.

I was so excited to see this place as I was driving to an appointment. I thought the place was called "Seafood Barbecue" because that's what was written in big bold red letters. They're still in their grand opening stage so I didn't have any high expectations. The place is located right under an apartment complex. There's street parking and additional parking in the rear with an entrance. We started with the chicken wings, cajun flavored. We thought it was going to be just a dry cajun rub but it was actually served in a liquidy cajun broth..?? The cajun flavor is uniquely different. Nothing similar to the norm that most of us are used to from The Boiling Crab or Hot 'N' Juicy Crawfish. I personally wouldn't of guessed it was cajun if I was blindfolded. The wings were still decent. Next we decided to order the Cajun Combo #3. It comes with 1LB shrimp, 1LB crawfish, 1LB mussels, 2 potatoes, and 2 corn. We chose garlic butter for the flavor and hot for spice level. There wasn't much liquid in the bucket so the shrimp was a little dry for us. The flavor was still uniquely different and we didn't taste any garlic butter or spice. I would recommend doing spicy if you need a kick because hot had no spice kick. Once you get to the bottom, there was a little bit more flavor since they were sitting in the liquid but the shrimp was still dry to us. Crawfish and mussels were pretty big. This place is definitely fusion. I would have to say this is comparable to buffet crawfish, decent but nothing I would crave and that's just my opinion. Again, the cajun flavor is so uniquely different with such a distinct flavor that is so familiar that I practically sat there trying to figure out what it was or what it reminded me of but I just couldn't put my finger on it. The prices are a little bit higher than other places in MN too. Go give them a try! You may just really like their take on cajun.

After such a great experience the first visit we suggested the location to friends. Reservations were made for a group of about 10-14. We arrived early and already there was confusion to the reservation. A few members of the group arrived and took about 20 minutes before anyone asked us for our drink orders. Once, our party arrived there already was confusion to who our server was, because 2 different people approached the table taking our orders. Assuming like most restaurants that served large parties they would ask first if our bill would be split or on one check. However, no one asked that and it seemed chaotic on how the orders were taken. There's no way the server wouldn't have made a mistake. A few friends couldn't wait for their food any longer so request to cancel their orders and left. However, the remainder of the group stuck it out. Took way too long for the food to come out and when it did the server had no clue who's order it was. We had to figure it out ourselves. That included the drinks that was ordered. We had to distribute the drinks to the correct person. When the food came out the orders seemed incorrect in weight. Per the menu it stated each of the orders should weigh at least 1 lb, however, it was unclear if they weighed the order with or without the sides. Like most Cajun restaurants they never weigh the order with the sides. Our orders seemed too light. We weren't the only group that had issues. The large party next to us also had the same complaints. Unfortunately, one of our friends while checking out heard the other group complain and the employee ringing just ignored/argued with him. It was quite rude and shocking. We were there for at over 3 hours total. We all paid and a woman (believe the owner) stopped us. Stating their a discrepancy of about $80. We kept saying she won't make us pay for any food we didn't get. We polite agreed to stay and go line by line with her. After confirming we paid everything we just stood there waiting to leave. She still claimed there's a discrepancy with 2 lbs. of crayfish. She wanted to reconcile the receipts with their systems, but that's not our problem. We've been more than accommodating considering the poor service, questionable amount of food give, and being accused of not paying. Personally, the type of restaurant they have shouldn't be difficult to manage and could be quite lucrative considering they have a simple and limited menu. I don't think they know how to properly wait on larger groups. What they should've done was have 1 server per large party and the rest of the servers manage the smaller tables. Additionally, the server should have confirmed if the table wants to split the bill. Separate the orders by name and read back their orders to prevent errors.

Where do I start!!!!!! They are super friendly and was assisting us since we brought our 10 month old baby. The place was nice, quite and clean. They always asked if we had any questions with their menu. Now the food was amazing!!!!!!!! It came out hot and really tasty! The drink "snow mountain" was so good that I had to get another one to go! If you get a chance to visit MN, please try this place!

The space could have been better and more inviting for dine in... but as soon as I tasted the food the appearance went out the window! Absolutely incredible mouth-gasm.

Having been to and tasted many Viet-Cajun/Creole vittles during my time in Los Angeles CA, I feel comfortable enough to praise the meal I've had here. So, we headed over to DinkyTown/campus area. The scene. A new and clean building. New furniture (didn't enjoy stools with no backs so I sat in the booth side). The appropriate amount of cleanup accoutrements were available i.e. plastic bibs, plastic gloves, paper towels etc. Service. Very friendly! The server (I'll assume an owner/operator) was quick and attentive. The food. Shrimp. The 1 pound shrimp w/garlic butter was impressive, tasty and done well. The potato and corn included in the pound of shrimp were a great addition. The po'boy was yummy although a bit too much bread. The soft shell crab appetizer was so-so. Overall. I gave four stars as food and service were great, but with a few small improvements it would move to 5 stars. Reccomended!!

I've been here twice now. It's very out of the way for me now that I live in Excelsior! However, when I heard about this place, I knew I had to drive through my old town to try this place out! Got one of the combo options both times and the seafood was made perfectly in the house sauce with medium spicy level. Medium spicy wasn't very spicy at all. Great flavor in the house mix sauce. Would be going back all the time if I lived closer! The second time I went, I did get it to go and drove it back to Excelsior. Pleased to say, everything was still super hot when I opened up the bag of yummy goodness!

Some good,spicy seafood!! Unlike being on the coast where the seafood is fresh the snow crab was frozen tasting, and the blue crab were babies they could've left them in the water they weren't ready yet!! other than that it was good a little pricey I'm thinking because it's down there by the college would I go back maybe!!

I understand crawfish season isn't in, but lots of room for improvement on the freshness taste of food.

Been wanting to try this place so today I ordered 2 pounds of crawfish to go and you would think at $13 a pound is live but no it's DEAD frozen crawfish! If you go anywhere dead crawfish is around $7.99 a pound. Called the restaurant and spoke to the Chinese owner or manger he said the whole Minnesota dont carry live crawfish and live crawfish is not in season... but I ate live crawfish yesterday at Red Pepper in Richfield MN and all the crawfish in Brooklyn park serves live crawfish. (The season is not over yet) What SHOCKED me was he said his dead crawfish is better than live crawfish... LOL!!! And the dead crawfish he orders is more expensive than the live crawfishs... get the fuck out of here!!! I'm from LA and this is my first time eating dead crawfish lol First time here and the last time..

Took my family for dinner on Mother's Day and The Cajun House didn't fail me! This is the closest it is for Boiling Crab here in Minnesota. Excellent food and our server. We are definitely going back!

I came here on Fat Tuesday, because the name made it sound like it would be the go-to place for Cajun food. The menu was missing the typical Cajun food you would expect, such as gumbo or alligator or anything like that, but I soon realized it was a fusion-style restaurant. Although it wasn't necessarily the Cajun food I set out for, I decided since I was there and hungry I would give it a try. Most definitely glad I did! The waitress who served me was very friendly, though I also found out she had just started that day so she didn't have all the answers to some of the questions I asked. I ordered snow crab legs with potatoes and corn. The crab legs were done in a Louisana Dry rub sauce and I ordered them "hot." And I have to say I'm glad I went with hot instead of "burning..." though maybe I'll give that a try next time. The food was served in a plastic bag inside of a bucket and I was given plastic gloves to handle the food--which was peculiar to me, but it got messy pretty quickly, so I'm glad I had them. I also ordered some Cajun chicken wings as an appetizer. These were really good-got them nice and spicy; I kinda wish there were more, but that's more of a testament of how good they are and not like they skimped on serving size. I kinda wish they had given me a plate so I could work on the crab legs without having to dig around the bag so much, but I guess that's why the tables have changeable paper sheets, so they can throw them out and replace them with another without having to clean table cloths and such. I felt like I was getting really messy while working on this dinner, but the results were really good. I guess this is a fairly new restaurant and I hope more people give it a chance; it was fairly empty when I was there, so I hope it was just a slow night (it being a Tuesday in February and all). I will definitely be back and I may give the crawfish a try...or if I have the appetite, I may take a wack at one of their Cajun Combos. Really, everything on the menu looks delicious, so hopefully I'll be making a few trips thataway in the time to come. It gives me a reason to actually go to that part of town now. Prewarning- at least as of the time I went, they don't serve alcohol here; a pair of customers came in and then left when they found out they couldn't have beer with their meal. Oh well, their loss.

Great food, a combo of Louisiana spicy seafood dish and Chinese street food BBQ. Any of the two alone is a killer in Minnesota. Great service that let us stay even when we came right when they about to close.

If you love seafood with extra spice, you have to come try this The Cajun House! I got the two seafood combo + snow crab legs with house sauce. There are also other entrees to choose from. I gave it a 3 star because it's a little on the pricier end.

Come for dinner, stay all night - because it takes that long to get your food! It took at least 45 minutes to get our food after we ordered it. I understand that they may be busy and food might take a while, but what really rubs me the wrong way is that I was shorted on crawfish. I ordered a pound and received closer to half a pound. I eat crawfish quite often and I know what a pound of crawfish looks like. It was nowhere close. The crawfish was okay - smaller than average. The sauce has good flavor but I would guess the crawfish are just tossed in the sauce, not cooked in the sauce. The tails had no flavor and the tail meat wasn't saucy at all. In conclusion I was pretty disappointed.

In a desperate attempt at getting a taste of crawfish season, I tried this place out. I have to say it was just mediocre. Service was great--both people that helped me were friendly and took good care of us so no complaints there. We got 3lbs boiled crawfish and 1lb shrimp in the garlic flavored boil. Market price for the crawfish at $11.99/lb was a bit steep. Not Southern prices but desperate times call for desperate measures. The stuff just tasted as if it had been boiled and then tossed in the "garlic butter" that was neither garlicky or buttery. I'm giving them 3 stars for the food plus 1 Star for the great service.

Fantastic seafood, really fun presentation! I had the snow crab in garlic butter sauce. It had fantastic cajun spice and tons of garlic, just the way I like it. This is my 3rd time here and Ill be back!

I really enjoy Cajun seafood, but not this one. The crawfish are not fresh, they're not clean, so you're essentially eating dirt and mud. The fried oysters are over fried. Seafood noodle is too salty. And it's more expensive than it's competitors.

Near our house on motorcycle ride. The signage on the front is a bit misleading at the CajunBBQ is a smaller sign. They have nice outdoor seating and we sat along the street people watching. Small selection of the favorite bottled beers. Ordered the shrimp boil with the spices and heads off. Includes corn and a side. The spices had very good flavor and the shrimp were cooked. Yes, they are not fresh - but hey, we live in the middle of the country. $12.95 a lb is a pretty good deal. It's nice that they give you bib and gloves -this is a messy way to eat but enjoyable. Just don't wear white. ;v) Happing dining!

Great flavors. Good place for crawfish, shrimp, crab and lobster. The crawfish needed a little more flavor but was fresh enough to eat. Nice and clean. New place feel. Recommend it for a family day out for seafood.

Cajun house has bbq and Cajun boiling. Personally prefer bbq as cajun is not as good as other restaurants.

Came in on a Saturday evening and the place was pretty empty. Only 3 other tables with patrons. Was seated after being stared at for 30 seconds, seemed like they didn't know why guests were walking in. We watched as the staff bussed and tended to all the tables around us, but they never came around to take out order after 15mins. We ended up leaving to go down the street to Hong Kong noodle. Don't waste your time.

Super good combo deal! We ordered the medium sauce, which was very spicy. The garlic butter had great flavor, and the sea food was all very fresh. They give you a bib and gloves to wear, definitely gets messy! Overall great experience

If you have ever had good Cajun boil before, you'd know that the food here tastes awful. We ordered crab legs, shrimp, and craw fish with the dry house rub seasoning. Everything was so dry that I had to literally swallow it down with water - let alone this odd, overwhelming bitter taste from the dry rub. The craw fish also had a weird, fishy flavor to it because it may have been undercooked (someone else had mentioned this in their review). The portion of the crab leg was quite tiny, but who cares if you don't want to eat anyway. Cajun House does not deserve 4 stars. Period. The only reason I'm rating two stars is because the restaurant aesthetics and waiter were nice. I recommend going to Cajun deli in Brooklyn Park if you're looking for some good Cajun boil in the MSP area, even if it's far, small and in a ghetto area.

For a Cajun place in Minnesota, we were very pleasantly surprised! The food was fast, flavorful, and reasonably priced. We asked, and most of their products are fresh, never frozen. Delicious. We were the only ones dining in so it felt very safe & socially distant. Staff was friendly and accommodating, we have literally no complaints. Had to leave a review bc we couldn't believe they only had a 3.5 star rating! Can't wait to come back.

Outstanding service and food. We ordered a lot of Chinese style BBQ: beef short rib, lamb kebab, pigs feet, and Asian eggplant. We also ordered 1 lb of garlic butter mussels and 1 lb of Louisiana Cajun crawfish. The crawfish was a little bit too vinegary, the garlic butter is definitely a better choice. We asked for hot for everything and it's pretty tasty! It's pretty rare to have authentic Chinese street food in the US, so I would highly recommend it if you would like to try it out. The Cajun style seafoods just as good as some famous chains like hot n juicy. We would come again for sure!

Anything you get off this menu is very good I like this place a lot I need to come back and Oder something different every time I come price isn't as cheap as other place but it's worth the few extra bucks

Went to cajun house today. We ordered the combo which included 2lbs of crawfish, 1lb shrimp and 1 cluster of crab legs. We experienced about a third of our craws to be rotten and bit into them. It was horrific.

This place was within walking distance of my hotel. I walked past the Chinese buffet restaurant planning to go to a different Chinese restaurant but the Cajun House caught my eye. I've not had much Cajun food ever, so can't provide an opinion on authenticity. The food was delicious to the point I came back a second night in a row! The noodle soup, chicken on a stick and hot pots are fantastic! The green tea cheesecake was a good adventure, and would have been better if the top half and bottom half had been the same temperature. The wait staff has been friendly and courteous and have gotten 25% or better tips for their service. If I were staying longer I would come back again.

Pretty good food and a lot of options. The skewers were good, but they add up if you order a lot.
