The Cake Batch

Our cake was gorgeous and delicious - coconut cake with passion fruit curd and whimsical, detailed decorations. My daughter said it was even better than she'd hoped for because Helen added cute little flower bouquets on the sides and put flowers on top. Our family was super impressed with the design and the flavor, and everyone at the Rose Garden asked who did the cake - I of course recommended The Cake Batch to them!

Hosted my sister-in-law's baby shower with the theme "A Little Chick is About to Hatch" and Helen just hit it out of the park. I ordered an ube velvet cake with cream cheese frosting, guava rose macaroons, and crème brûlée macaroons and MY GOODNESS - they were fantastic. Helen was responsive, polite, and just a joy to work with! I've never been so sad and happy to cut into a cake - but once we did the only regret was that it was gone too fast. I've never seen one cake please so many people (even the cake haters). 100/10 would order from The Cake Batch again!

We first learned about The Cake Batch after watching a profile on Oregon Public Broadcasting. Her use of ingredients from many cultures and her decorating skill were so impressive that my daughter decided she wanted to get a cake from her for her birthday. My daughter is obsessed with birds, so we asked for a cake with a cedar waxwing and an American kestrel, her favorite birds. We also asked for an ube cake with mango fruit filling and strawberry frosting. What we got was nothing short of a miraculous cake. The decoration floored my daughter and her friends at her party. And the cake itself was delicious, moist and flavorful while not being overly sweet like many cakes can be. We could not recommend The Cake Batch any higher!

I ordered a cake for my friend’s bachelorette party wanting her famous carrot cake flavored. Showed her a sample pic and she DELIVERED. Helen was willing to work with my last minute request to make my party & I are happy. The cake turned out amazing. The cake inside was really moist and frosting tasted good. One of the girl said, she normally doesn’t like carrot cake but that cake was pretty good. Thank you Cake Batch for your beautiful cake!

Got their carrot cake at the Asian Food Festival in Beaverton and I must say, it was amazing. What I love about this carrot cake is that somehow it tastes reminded me the decadent yummy carrot cake I had many times before but yet every bite of Cake Batch’s carrot cake leaves me feeling refreshed afterward. Hats off!
