The pink champagne cake we ordered for our son was a perfect as it could get. They absolutely nailed it. It was ordered over the phone not in person and they still got it perfectly

This was my first visit to The Cake Gallery but absolutely not my last. The variety of not only cakes but cookie and other assorted baked goods was excellent. What sends this place over the top is the service. There were 7 or 8 customers in the lobby when I walked in and everyone got helped quickly. Grace, Elijah and Tracy went above and beyond to help me out. Grace in particular helped me out of my own mess. After 20 years of marriage I didn't realize my wife preferred vanilla over chocolate cake. I of course offered chocolate, and just happened to mention that I messed up when I was picking it up. Somehow, someway they were able to fix me up with a vanilla cake and make me a slightly less pitiful husband. I'm amazed at home awesome this place is and especially the employees. Will be gearing all my cakes from here

Every cake (including our wedding cake) has been fantastic! The staff is friendly, the shop is clean, and being able to order the ready-to-go cakes has been great - and those also did not disappoint! Ate the last cake we got before I remembered to take a photo. Highly recommend!

SO DISAPPOINTED! Everytime I come into town I take my Mom (93 yrs old)to the Cake Gallery. We love their almond cookies and cupcakes. Before I leave town I always get a dozen to take with me. We’ve been doing this for years. Due to their move and the length of time it took - needless to say we missed a year. 2 weeks ago we were excited to visit their new location. As normal, we each got a dozen almond cookies. We’ve opted for cupcakes and a slice of red velvet cake. The cookies are absolutely horrible. They are dry and totally crumble to pieces in your hand. Even worse there is no taste of almond. The red velvet cake was so dense with very little frosting which I anticipated it to be a cream cheese frosting which it was not. Again the red velvet was so dry, no hint of chocolate and a blah frosting. The white cupcake and white frosting was excellent, moist light and airy. The chocolate with champagne frosting had no taste like the red velvet and the cookies. Unfortunately they have lost us as a customer - we will no longer give them our business.

I love this place. I will find any excuse to order a delicious cake from here. It is the best!!! Nothing compares to the cake gallery. I tried other places when they were closed and I was missing the cake gallery even more and I appreciate their freshness in each cake I have had from there. The designs are the best. The staff here is sweet too. Feels like home to me when I call to order!

A miscommunication with a different bakery left me scrambling, last minute, to find another. Found a couple places on Google and Cake Gallery was my first stop… also my last. I will never go elsewhere. I’d never heard of them before but the workers were very kind, knowledgeable, and confident so I took a gamble. I wish I knew the name of the woman who helped me order the cake because she was the only reason I chose not to look at any other places. She was so nice, blunt and to the point, confident, had her own amazing ideas to add, and absolutely hilarious! How she took an idea from my head that I had such a hard time verbalizing and relayed it to the decorator so that the cake was beyond my wildest dreams is beyond me. However, that’s exactly what she did. Now for the cake itself. I am a first time Mima and it was a cake for my granddaughter’s “Fairy First Birthday” so I was going all out. The cake that was presented to me on pickup… even weeks later I’m absolutely speechless. You ever see those fancy shmancy cakes on instagram or TikTok that are so unrealistic you just know they’re photoshopped or if they’re actually real they’re upwards of a thousand dollars?! That is exactly what was slid across the counter to me. A three tiered unbelievably incredible cake that surpassed everything I said I wanted but was exactly what I wanted when trying to unsuccessfully verbalize my vision. Luckily the young woman giving me the cake told me that “Cassie” was the one who decorated it. I wasn’t able to thank her personally but, Cassie, thank you from the absolute bottom of my heart! You’re incredible and insanely talented and I’m SO happy you’re the one who brought my vision to fruition. I’m sure people say this all the time but genuinely and truly, I won’t waste a second of my time ever going elsewhere. It’d be a waste of time and money. In the topic of money, I’m still surprised at how much this cake cost me. The cake itself was around the very low end of $200 with a smash cake included, and the decorations (I, myself, bought off Amazon) ran me around $40 if I remember correctly. Less than $250 paid for this absolute masterpiece. I’m still worried maybe they charged me wrong. 🤣 Thank you to all the workers at Cake Gallery for being amazing and making my vision a reality! I needed a last minute cake and did not have an order placed. The retail store is still under construction, I drove up to the temporary location, and Christy came out to my vehicle to take my order. I asked for a Husker theme and pretty. I waited about 20 minutes while the cake was decorated. They brought it out to my car when it was done. The cake was delicious, and everyone loved the design at the party. Thank you!!

Naomi at The Cake Gallery was absolutely incredible! Our families have been customers for years, and we received the same amazing service for our wedding cake. Naomi helped us to select the combinations we were most interested in (even having a second cake made for us to try the next day) and helped us decide on the size, as we were doing cupcakes separately for the guests. We were impressed by how diligent their note taking was, and every detail we had discussed, Naomi remembered and could confirm with me when I ordered. The Cake Gallery is still hitting it out of the park! They have moved locations, but absolutely nothing has changed in the quality of the cakes or the adorableness of decorations! We had an old classic for Thanksgiving that we love to get for family gatherings - the pink champagne. The design was so cute with white icing, pink piping and little pink dollops on top with pink candy chips and sprinkles. So cute and so tasty. Definitely check out Cake Gallery (at their new location) for your next event or holiday that you need cake for!

This is our favorite cake bakery. It was great in its old location and it's great in this new location. Their cakes are delicious and beautiful. Parking is easy. Service is friendly and prompt. The examples are beautiful. They do custom work for you. They do it at a reasonable cost. They're prompt. We love them!

We use the cake gallery for every birthday, celebration, etc. They have always been a staple in my husband's family and now I use them for all occasions! It was a shame that they had to move locations but I will continue to support this business! They have always been so accommodating and have not said no yet to one of my requests! Our favorite is the pink champagne cake with buttercream!

I will find a reason to order a cake from here. It's the best. The service is top notch. The ambiance is fresh. I love this place.

I ordered a birthday cake for my brother from here and despite it being less than a week's notice and a holiday around the corner, they really showed up! We got a 7 inch round raspberry swirl cake with fresh whip topping. Their draw is that they make every cake ultra moist and it definitely lived up to the hype. The cake was delicious and there was plenty of raspberry swirl in every bite! The only thing that was a little disappointing was the fresh whip topping. It tastes very buttery and more like buttercream which my family doesn't enjoy as much. Naomi was the one who helped us out and she was very helpful and the cake was ready right on time! Would be happy to come back here for a cake.

I called to have a cake ready for the next day - a simple blue champagne cake. It was ready on time and was a big hit at my family reunion. I also picked up a slice of their pink champagne cake. Both were absolutely delicious and I wouldn't hesitate to order either of them again!

Have been a longterm (35+ year) customer of the Cake Gallery. My husband and I were sympathetic to their relocation initially and purchased a $100 gift card to support them in transition. Have left repeated messages and emails request confirmation prior to ordering one of their standard cakes in order to assure someone would answer a call when picking it up. No response or return email. I will not give this place our business again.

Creativity abounds at this wonderful shop. The Cake Gallery offers away variety of delicious cakes and heavenly cookies. Strongly suggest ordering in advance due to high demand. Cakes for all occasions are available in all shapes and sizes. Be patient and expect to wait as lines can be long. You cannot go wrong with anything from this bakery.

This used to be THE place to go for cake. Unfortunately, our last cake wasn't the same. It was very dry and the frosting was tacky and sickly sweet. Pink champagne has been our family's go to for celebrations, but the rising cost and lowering quality, sadly just won't make it a go-to anymore. Plus, the last couple of times the staff seemed upset or angry that we were there. It was very uncomfortable and we had to wait a substantial time for our cake when no one else was there picking up. Bummed as we really loved what they used to be. I don't think we'll return.

My mom has been getting cakes from the Cake Gallery for about 5 years now and there is a reason that we keep going back: price, artistry, and flavor. My mom tried several other cake shops before and could never quite get what she wanted for the right price. But then she found the Cake Gallery and we've been sold ever since. Not only will they work with her to design her vision, but they do it for an affordable price. The artistry that they put into the cakes is stunning! My mom can go in with a vision, a topper, or a color theme, and they are able to bring that cake to life in breathtaking ways. This year my niece wanted an Arctic themed party based around a tiny animal toy set. My mom went in with this request and the final cake was STUNNING! I have no idea how they made it work with all of the little toys, but it was perfect. Check out the pictures I attached. And my niece LOVED it! Finally, and most importantly, their cakes are delicious. For the Arctic themed cake, the flavor was 'blue champagne' with a decadent buttercream frosting. I ate an enormous piece and regret nothing. Also, it's important to note that the staff are extremely friendly, welcoming, and talented. Working with them is a joyful part of the experience. Next time you need a cake in Omaha, don't think twice, get thee to the Cake Gallery!

Delicious cake. My boss got the pink champagne cake for my birthday on Friday and it was yummy. I would have given 5 stars if there would have been less frosting. I swear there was more frosting than cake Everyone that had a piece had the majority of the frosting still on the plate once they were done with the cake. We would have all been in diabetic comas had we eaten all of it . 5 stars for taste. 3 stars for too much frosting= 4 star rating. Thank you Cake Gallery for the delicious birthday cake!

After a couple years, I decided to give the Cake Gallery a second chance. Customer service has improved. My cake was not lost this time the workers were much more efficient. You know it's a good place when it's busy. My daughter's pink champagne birthday cake was beautiful and delicious!

We have purchased several cakes here for special occasions. They have always been excellent. We're enjoying a birthday cake now. One of the best things is how light, fresh, and moist they are. When you need a delightful cake for any occasion, you'll be happy getting them to prepare one for you.

I came here with a friend purchasing a couple cakes from work. I will say that everything looked delicious! Also, everyone that worked there was extremely friendly and helpful. I didn't eat any of the cake, but other folks at work raved about them, so that's a good sign! I live in California so will probably not be back, but if you live in the area and need baked goods, you should check out The Cake Gallery!

Ordered a strawberry mermaid cake for my daughter from here, and it tasted very good. Giving 3 star because they messed up on my daughter's age and put 1st birthday instead of 6th.

This is a great cake place and a true gallery of options and choices. I picked up "The Abby" for my husband's birthday and it was delicious, a little pricey, but still delicious - chocolate cake filled with chocolate mousse with chocolate buttercream frosting. Great help and service. When you need a cake, forget HyVee, go to the Cake Gallery. Worth it!

Last cake we purchased (September) at The Cake Gallery was dry as toast...not moist as promised. Probably a frozen cake they decorated at the last minute. We didn't even get the decorating we desired for our one year business anniversary...so sad. Poor advertising for The Cale Gallery at our business anniversary for all our members. So, needless to say, I gave them another chance. Too bad the cakes were not even baked when I called to verify the decorations---at least they may have been moist as promised. Unfortunately, the cakes would not be done in time for the party. Definitely will never use this business again. Thumbs down for sure!!!

I had their red velvet and Oreo cake for my birthday last month and I must say it was one of the best cakes I've ever had. When they say "Super Moist", it is the truth! It was very easy to get an order done over the phone. I only wish I could have tried more than one! I know I'll be back to try another flavor.

The staff is courteous. I set time to pick up a cake. They called me. To remind me I could think of a better place to buy a cake. The design is everything I wanted and the cake was the moistest cake I have ever had.

So I have been going here for the last couple of years and noticed that service has gone way down! I am done with this establishment I ordered a cake 2 weeks ahead had the topper with me when I ordered. Showed up 20 minutes past pickup time topper was lost cake not even decorated. Half ass apology if you could call it that and excuses were received. This was for my son's 3rd birthday hope when we cut into it its the correct flavor. At these prices I expect better! I will be taking my business elsewhere from now on and I suggest everyone do the same. While there someone else's cake was lost as well as someone who was told it would be 20 minutes for their cake. I am assuming they forgot to do their cake as well and were slapping one together for her too. While I was waiting a older couple heard the customer service and said let's go, not surprised!

This cake was better than I could have possibly imagined! Nancy at The Cake Gallery is insanely talented. I brought them a picture of the birthday decorations, picked one of their existing cake designs from the website, and said "you have full creative license, just make it pretty, you do you!" IT WAS SPECTACULAR!!! And that is just the design. I ordered the almond cake and it was *chef's kiss* I almost never post reviews, but this absolutely deserved it. Thank you! 10 out of 10, will be ordering again.

Had a cake tasting here and tried their famous Pink Champagne cake. My fiance fell in love with the first bite and for someone who has not been super involved in the planning process, he was adamant that we get the pink champagne for our wedding cake! He still talks about it and we can't wait for the wedding so we can eat it again! The baker gives you privacy while you taste the cake so you can form your own opinions. It was busy there, a sign of a good bakery. Did I mention we weren't charged anything for the tasting?

I have been getting cakes here for a very long time...maybe 20 years. It was my favorite bakery by far. However, the last 4 cakes that I or someone in my family has ordered have been a disaster. One they lost completely and the most recent one they forgot about, threw it together quickly, forgot to add the filling but charged for it anyway and didn't pay any attention to the design direction. Then they didn't even apologize...It's very sad but we will never go back. I don't know what has happened but I would not recommend them now.

We've gone to the Cake Gallery for a few different cakes over the years and every time we have been very pleased. The cake is always delicious and fresh. Plus, we are able to customize each cake and they always do a nice job with that, as well. The prices are also quite fair. I am not really sure what else to say. I know they have other bakery items, like cookies and such, but I've not tried them. If you need a cake for a birthday or other special occasion, this would be the place I would recommend.

Ordered a cake for a graduation party. Was contacted the day before because they had lost the photo that was going on the top. Then was contacted fifteen minutes before they close to come pick it up even though I had been told they close a hour later. When I received the cake I was disappointed by the unprofessional quality given the price of the cake.

This business has been a family staple and even catered our wedding and was amazing. However, for my daughter's 5th Birthday, she requested a shark driving a pink car and we envisioned a side view of a corvette with the shark halfway out...what we got was a 5yo version of a head on pink box was suppose to be a shark and it's face. I told them this was disgusting and not up to par. They looked at the order, said, didn't you order THIS and read what I said above. I responded yes and they shrugged and said that was completed to order. I couldn't believe how they found that acceptable to leave their premises with their name attached. So I put on my best face when I got home after crying in my car at what a failure this would be for my precious girl and acted like it was a great cake to my daughter. She looked at it and was unhappy. Almost looked like she was going to cry not from a tantrum - from genuinely being sad. She said that it wasn't a shark driving a car. I explained to her and showed her the pink car and shark and she was OK after that but dang if that was double upsetting! So I called their office on the weekday and spoke to them and they said that they can't do anything unless you bring it up to them when there. I couldn't believe it. It seemed like I was suppose to demand them remake it while I stood there and waited or, just have refused to accept it and walked out. As a customer whose never experienced such a poor quality work, noting even your grocery stores do a better job decorating and this place did a phenomenal job on our wedding cake, I don't believe it is my responsibility to tell them to redo their decorating when everyone who viewed it could see it was atrocious. And they could have told me in the store when they saw me visibly start to break down. And I have some very forgiving friends like myself. I don't expect perfection - I just expect one to take pride in their work and not allow artwork that could have been done by my 5yo to leave their premises and when confronted about it a second time to have tried to remedy the situation. I gave them 2 stars because the taste of the Birthday cake was on point and delicious plus, I wanted to account for the stunning Wedding cake we did have and the beautiful memories they helped foster for that day. If it weren't for that, this would be a solid one star place.

Wow I was so happy with my sons cake was so incredible!!! Everything we hoped for and asked for and more Chrissy such a great artist. This was my son 21st bday and the best one he has ever had!!

EVENTS BEWARE: I ordered two graduation cakes back in 2022 to be completed for 5-27-23. One for a girl that was to be ocean themed and had fondant characters including a stingray. $50.00 EACH CHARACTER for those fondant items. One cake was supposed to look like a bowl of ramen, I had to let them do all the art for that in frosting because of the 50.00 per item on fondant. These were not big cakes. The woman who took my order put everything on PAPER, they don't use computers, but they did take my email address if they needed to communicate in addition to my cell phone. It is not surprising that orders in other negative reviews are "lost or wrong". Other bakeries do not charge additional fees for fondant animals. They also refused to do one cake and not the other due to their "ultramoist blah blah". I put down $100. for both on the order and later another $150. =$250.00 The total for these two cakes was $500.00 The Ocean cake was $300.00 due to the fondant characters. We have 50 people coming and ordered 2 cakes that feed 25 servings or so each. I called 5/24/23 to see if I could still pick these cakes up Sat. morning around 0900. 10 mins on the phone waiting on hold because they have to look for my order in "the book". They come back on the line and tell me that because I never paid the whole $500.00 they cancelled my order!!! THREE days before my event I am finding out that they cancelled my order, and no apologies. They say " we don't call if you don't pay". They offered a refund of my 250.00. What kind of business DOESNT TELL you that they cancelled an event order? Then holds your money for ?months? and when your ready to pick up offers the refund? The manager was telling me to be a grown up about it, and said if I was "kind" she could help... I refused their offer and took my refund. The "help" was most likely quick sheet cakes with names on them to keep my $250.00. After being treated so badly why on earth anyone would settle for that I don't know. Keep in mind I was picking up these cakes, of course they would be completely paid for, to leave the building. I got the impression from the girl who took my order last year that they don't like doing fondant characters, and she was quitting due to staffing issues. I had to text photos of what I wanted to her personal cell phone to even get my quotes. I ordered a similar ocean themed cake with 8 fondant characters for a baby shower that served 50 for $250.00 from another bakery in April because the 500.00 they quoted was unreal.. They could have mentioned in APRIL ..hey we will need to cancel your graduation cakes if you don't pay the balance before pickup? NOTHING WAS SAID. It also says online that they take google pay, which they couldn't take the day I asked. They don't take venmo or paypal either.

Ordered a cake for my sons 16th birthday almost 3 weeks ago to pick up on 12/27. The lady told me to call a day or two before pickup date to confirm the order details, so called yesterday 12/26. Should've known they'd be closed but the lady didn't mention it when I placed the order so thought all was good. Anyways, they called back today 12/27 and never placed the order so can't do what I wanted. I only heard nothing but great things about this place but after reading the reviews now, I'd say your best going elsewhere to ensure you actually get your cake and the design/kind you want.

Naomi and her team were phenomenal. She was very upfront, considerate, and kind to our needs. She had exceptional knowledge of cake artistry and what would be the best options for my sister on her wedding day. She was also very helpful in telling us the dos and don'ts of venues since she's been in the business a very long time. The cake was a three-tier cake and was delicious from start to finish! The artistry Naomi and her team used on the cake was absolutely gorgeous and had many raving! I absolutely recommend her and her team at the Cake Gallery!

I order two cakes for my wedding reception. WOW all I can say is how beautiful they were. When I order the cakes the told me that they stopped delivering around 3, but my room wasn't open until 5. And they waited met me there around 445 and delivered my cakes to the room Exactly where I wanted it. And can we talk taste. My favors were Pink champagne and chocolate champagne. The groom's cake was a Chevy Tahoe Marble mousse cake. So delicious soon the best cake ever I have had. For a special occasion I always go to them for my cakes. They have never let me down.

Wow!! Had such a great experience with the Cake Gallery! I ordered a dinosaur cake for my sons first birthday and it came out amazing. I gave them a picture of what I wanted and they ran with it! They envisioned what I wanted and created it, better than I imagined. Not only was it cute, but so delicious!! It was such an easy process to walk in place my order and then a week later had it ready to pick up. Honestly I felt like I came super last minute, but they made it work within that time frame. The cakes are however a bit more expensive, but they are worth every penney!!

Last Fall, on the eve of my first anniversary, my mind was on remembering my special day and all of those people who contributed their gifts to make that day a memorable, magical moment for my husband and I. Naturally, I think of Naomi! I was so overwhelmed by the many flavors, but she calmed my fears and narrowed our choices. The wedding cakes she helped craft for our special day were not only delicious to taste but delightful to behold. Still today, friends will comment on our cakes! We appreciate your willingness to "color outside of the lines" and create cakes that told a little bit about the bride and groom. The cakes were so great to look at, we hated to cut them... but once we had our first bite, we were sure glad we did! My bride cake was so wonderful, honestly the best we have ever had! My husband never got a piece of his groom's cake, so I ordered the exact same cake for his birthday! Every time we flip through our wedding album I have to look a bit longer at the pictures of our cakes. They always make me smile! Thank you, Naomi! You and your team are simply amazing!

Best birthday cake anyone could ask for. I gave them a picture and they delivered exactly the same cake. Everyone loved it and it tasted like heaven. They exceeded my expectations. Absolutely loved it.

The experience we had was not good! Their communication is not good at all. They kept going back and forth about refunding money and I told them not to refund just send the original order and they did not. They pretty much ruined our cake experience at our wedding! Thanks cake gallery but Dairy Queen has better cakes!

My son's birthday is shortly after Christmas, but with enthusiasm and kindness, some basic guidance and a few questions, the cake decorators at The Cake Gallery, in Omaha, took our breath away. So humbled and grateful. Our son was amazed!

Going to keep this short and simple . Tried this place to order my stepdad a birthday cake... got the gooey German chocolate cake. Everyone RAVED and said it was the BEST cake they had ever tasted . Super moist! With that said, they insisted on getting the champagne cake for our moving celebration in a few months. Lol.

I don't live in Omaha, but my family does. When we have a special event, I usually order from here. They are always beautiful and delicious! But this weekend, I ordered a graduation cake (a month in advance) and it wasn't good. The cake was full of air bubbles and not moist. The fondant was rock hard; we had to break it with a sharp knife. It didn't serve well on the plates at all. It looked like the icing was used to make up where the cake came up short; thin here and thick there. Nothing like we're used to from the Cake Gallery. BUT it was graduation weekend. I guess they were in a hurry to get their orders out. Or maybe the lesson is, don't order from here during times where everyone wants a cake at the same time. It was nice to have a place to depend on for a good cake. But next time, I will weigh out other options first.

Best place in Omaha to get cakes. All delicious. So many on display and ready at a moments notice and custom orders with very little notice. Highly recommend.

I have had a number of cakes here throughout the years and have always been impressed. They did our wedding cake back in 2007 and did a great job. Where they really impressed me was when they did a cupcake cake for my daughter's first birthday party. The theme was a very hungry Caterpillar. I sent them a picture of what I wanted any duplicated it to a T. I thought the prices were very reasonable, $2 per cupcake and they gave us a free smash cake. The cakes were great and the decoration a big hit too.

I purchased alot of cakes from the Cake Gallery over the years and it had been a pleasant and above expectation experience until day. I will not be spending any more money at the Cake Gallery. I was looking to order a 1/2 sheet cake for next day - marble cake with buttercream frosting and a message on the cake. The moment I stepped into the establishment the lady at the front counter seemed to be bothered and had a bad attitude. Not friendly at all. I asked am I able to put in an order for cake pick up tomorrow? Her response was curt, negative and rude as if I was bothering her. A simple no I'm sorry we are not available to, would have been fine and I would understand because I'm requesting a cake the day before. Just the way she treated me made me feel like crap and I know I deserve better customer service. I went to another cake place and they were able to help me, they were nice, polite and very helpful. I didn't catch the name of the women that was at the front counter at the Cake Gallery but she should really work on her customer service skills. Treat people like humans and if you are having a bad day don't take it out on your customers that are looking to pay for a service.

Great decorating. They did exactly what I asked for. My 17 year old son loved it. I'll be back again.

I called at 9 am to ask about getting a full sheet cake for a retirement party tomorrow . Yes I know it's last minute . The gal that answered the phone was so curt and not helpful at all. She stated it was too late for a full one and didn't offer any suggestions . So I asked if I could get two half sheet cakes and she said " guess so". I then asked if I could add some writing to the ones already made and she said " no". That would take about ten minutes to add and they can't get that done before they close today ? So I called another bakery and ordered a fresh full sheet cake and got it decorated just how I wanted it . I think the cake gallery needs to make sure someone who likes their job answers the phone. I also think that adding four words on an already made cake shouldn't have been so difficult to get done in the next 9 hrs.
