The Can Club

The Can Club recently hosted my son’s 1st birthday party and it was amazing!! We had around 30 adults and 10 children between the ages of 0 and 4 and it was the perfect celebration! Laura was so attentive and helpful during planning, we had the most wonderful food spread for adults (we got lots of comments about how delicious the food was!) and a kids pasta bar which was perfect for the age range. They set up a number of activities for the babies / children including a ball pit, sensory area, art corner and carnival games, and a mini ‘disco’ to close the party which was so much fun for all ages! The party was winter wonderland themed and Laura and Laura really helped us achieve this was all of their little details and they were brilliant with facilitating all my requests. I honestly can’t recommend the Can Club enough - a huge huge thank you for our dream party!

My son and his partner held our grandson's 4th birthday party here and a good time was had by all! The staff (the two Lauren's) are so friendly and helpful. They held games for the children and a disco! Food was really nice and the children loved it!

We are so lucky to have Can Club in Forest Gate. It’s become a part of my weekly routine, I’ve met so many other parents and friends for my little one here. It’s a really wonderful place for building community, there are a lot of regulars and the two women who run it make you feel at home, remembering your name and order early on. Apart from being a brilliant play cafe, it’s got genuinely amazing food, coffee and drinks. They’ve always got some new dishes along with the staples, good food for kids and a really fun disco on Fridays.

We celebrated our son’s 6th birthday party at the Can Club and what a great event that was! Kids and adults had the best time, the kids pasta was delicious and I couldn’t get over the little touches for my TFL-obsessed boy. Everyone loved the disco and Laura & Laura were incredible throughout with entertaining the kids and ensuring everything ran smoothly, while the parents enjoyed wine and coffees in (relative) peace. I really recommend the Can Club if you want to have the most amazing party or enjoy a wonderful lunch while your little people play and explore.

Our favourite place to come as a family. Think "amazing quality food in a restaurant designed by Bluey for kids". Our kids love coming, and they are GREAT with dealing with allergies. Chicken Tikka loaded bun was one of the yummiest things my wife and I have ever eaten ❤️😍 staff are wonderful to top it all off. If you're in Forest Gate and have young kids, visit here.

Such a brilliant spot for little ones and parents! The food is delicious and the outdoor play area is perfect for toddlers to explore and burn off energy. It’s also been a lovely place to meet other local parents, which creates a real sense of community.

We had our child's 6th birthday party at the Can Club and couldn't be happier. As a Forest Gate institution, we knew how great Can Club is for the area, but experiencing their excellent birthday party organisation was amazing (and completely stress-free for us parents). Everyone - kids and adults included - had a fantastic time, great food and drinks, great dancing and playing in a space that felt welcoming, safe and fun. Lots of smiley faces and a very happy birthday kid!

I been coming to Can Club for 3 years! It’s a lovely welcoming relax place. The food is so so good! I crave the breakfast crumpet daily & they really know what your kids needs! Picking plates, cheeses pasta or a frozen frube! They have it covered! Nice little outdoor space! Very lucky to have this on my door step! Highly recommend!
