Highly recommend!! Where do I start... AMAZING service, GREAT fresh quality food made and served with love - the abalone was delicious, chowder was creamy and tasty, couldn't fault anything! Excellent location and to top it off, two very sweet fur babies to pat as the cherry on top. Thank you ladies for making our Tasmania dining experience wonderful tonight.

Absolute 10/10 🌟, worth every single cent! Fresh, quality produce. We thoroughly enjoyed absolutely everything, and the service was also lovely, we felt very well looked after despite it being very busy. Beautiful views of the water. It genuinely doesn’t get any better than this. Worth the 2.5hour drive, and we will definitely be back!

We have the delicious lunch here. We made the booking in advance so we don’t need to wait for the table. Lunch time seems so busy, I guess for the dinner as well because the food is super good. The Oyster is so so fresh.

My partner and I had dinner here yesterday. The food is amazing here! We had the chowder which the fish and seafood are super fresh. The fish tastes great even as deep fried.

Shared a one person platter and some oysters and will be flying back from Victoria just to come to The Cannery. Amazing food. Great service, lovely staff and a lovely view (even though it was raining) Highlight of our day!

Perfect place to go for great food and excellent service. All the staff was super friendly and really took care of my group. We were 7 people and we ordered my mostly seafood (including 3 seafood chowder) but even a steak was included and I have to say that everything was deliciously fresh... I will definitely come back and recommend this place.

Great place. Was looking for a place for lunch and spotted this one by a small town. Plenty of room inside and plenty of seating outside. It’s quite windy so we sat inside instead service was prompts and our foods came out relatively quickly. The meals were fairly good sized and the atmosphere typical of a seaside townprocess reasonable visit again especially if you’re in the area should visit.

I think this beautiful restaurant is more then 5 star, do yourself a favour and have the seafood plater it was the most delicious and value for money we have had in a long time, would move to tassie just to be a regular customer ❤️ and friendly staff that have a great sense of humour from albany wa
