Provincetown, Cape Cod, Off-Season Restaurant and Bar Guide | Eater Boston

"During the six weekends after Thanksgiving The Canteen becomes a holiday market and winter lodge where I warm up at the food hut with grilled sausages, raclette, and soft pretzels washed down with mulled cider, hot chocolate, or eggnog; I enjoy the fire pits and vendor stalls, and the front dining room, heated outdoor tent, and converted storage bar still serve the usual Canteen menu alongside comforting specials like schnitzel and currywurst—plus treats such as apple cider whoopie pies, house-made pâte de fruit, and coconut-passionfruit snowballs—while the crispy Brussels sprouts tossed in fish sauce might be worth the trip alone." - Nathan Tavares

Huge beer selection—mostly local too. The staff is helpful and welcoming. The environment is dope with seating indoor & outdoor. I definitely recommend.

Was there for a private event. Food was catered in from another restaurant. The bar tenders were antisocial but did serve quickly. They didn't seem interested in being there. Atmosphere was great and I look forward to experiencing the outdoor area in warmer weather.

THIS IS THE WORSE PLACE IN THE WORLD, WE HAVE TO LISTEN TO THIS SHIT OF PLAYING MUSIC ALL DAY LONG IF NOT A BAND THE OVER HEAD SPEAKERS, MY DECIBEL METER READ 109 AND IM ONLY 30 YARDS FROM THIS. WE NEED TO BAN TOGETHER TO GET THIS FIXED. ITS HORRIBLE

Great place to sit outside on a beautiful night! Leashed dogs are welcome.

The beer selection was pretty good. A lot of what you see around town, but plenty of options. The atmosphere was bright and lively. We decided to try it out on a trivia night, but the trivia was kinda boring if I’m being honest. Compared to the trivia nights I’ve done in other locations around the metro area, this one was at the bottom. Other than that, the bar itself was great, and the bartenders were helpful with drink suggestions. I wouldn’t mind coming back out when the food trucks are outside and getting the full experience.

Simply put, the drinks are too expensive to recommend this place. The venue is nice, the staff is friendly, the tap list is rather large and mostly local. I would really like to recommend this place but until the draft prices are more reasonable, I can't.

Okay, I might be biased beings I love food trucks, beer, and sports. Well, this place gives you multiple food trucks to choose from. Quite the diversity of beers to choose from. Also, a big outdoor screen with the Blues game on. There are also convenient QR codes to purchase beer and the outdoors is very dog friendly.

The high prices is what kills it for me. Great staff and location. Also no smoking on the premises is kind of weird for a bar.
