I haven't been here since right after they first opened. But the service and food on graveyard was fire recently. I think my bartender was Jojo and he was super efficient and the music was banging. I got al pastor taco and a steak enchilada. Ho-lee-crap it blows the hell out of whatever Roberto's clone is open late at night. Their specials are also banging. Give this place a try again if you got burnt the first time.

We arrived at the restaurant at 12:45 A.M. and seated ourselves inside. When the waitress came over, we asked if we could sit outside on the patio. After being seated, we waited for 30 minutes without any further communication. The waitress never returned to take our drink order or check on us. When I went inside to inquire, the bartender informed me that the waitress had left for the night without informing us or the staff that we were still waiting. This lack of communication left us feeling ignored and frustrated. We understand that it can be busy, but a simple update or hand-off to another staff member would have made a big difference. We hope the management can address this to ensure better communication in the future. We didn't eat, we decided to go somewhere else.

I ordered a fish taco meal with rice and beans for pickup. For $16, I expected at least two tacos, but I received just one—and it was tiny. The meal itself was mediocre and definitely not worth the price. The service was just as disappointing. Hailey was rude and seemed uninterested in her job. She dropped the food in front of us on the bar instead of handing it over properly. When we asked for salsa, she acted bothered and told us that next time, we needed to request it when placing the order online. Well, there won’t be a next time.

Went in here to try happy hour and the first thing I should tell you is to bring your winter coat! I know Vegas is hot but this place is BEYOND freezing cold inside! They had several TVs that were playing some little league and we asked to have the MLB game on and the server said they can’t control the TVs at all? They had 1/2 price margaritas which were good for $7 but if I had paid the full $14 I would’ve been very angry as they’re served in a small rocks glass! Barely 8 oz! The food was good, street tacos were tasty. The service was extremely slow. It took forever to get our drinks and food and there were only a few other tables in there. The server said they were training a new bartender but she didn’t seem to really care either. When we got the bill we asked if she could split it between the two couples and when she came back she said she had messed it all up and needed help fixing it. Over 20 min waiting in the freezing cold we told her just to put it back on one and we would figure it out. That was a whole other issue. Took over 30 minutes trying to pay. Asked to see a manager who did take some off the bill but did not at all seem to care about our concerns. The table next to us actually got up and left because no one had come to take their order either. All in all there are far better places with better service. We won’t be back.

Talk about flavor and great customer service! At first I thought it was a couple dollars too expensive, but then we got our food, and they deliver absolutely quality meats and ingredients with a ton of flavor! 100% worth the price! (Still not a bad price at all, very affordable). Thelma was our server and she was very friendly and on top of everything! I can’t wait to come back to Vegas because we will be eating here again!

Google
Carne Asada Breakfast Burrito was very tasty but the highlight was the Guacamole appetizer. Every table around us has one so we had to try it and we were very happy we did.

Google
Worth the $$! Atmosphere is spectacular, food is dreamy, service was good. The place is also very big as there is space to the left, right, and outdoor seating. I got vegetarian tacos which did not disappoint. Best tacos I’ve had in a long time and packed with so much flavor. Also tried the steak fajitas which were so palatable. It’s like the steak melts in your mouth. No complaints whatsoever. I will be back.

One downtown is the good one the one on 215 is not . Dirty floors greasy chips that made me ill I was delivered the wrong food there's only one waitress but there were only five tables but she could have used some more help I think the one downtown on the other hand is One of the best Mexican restaurants in town, but you pay for it. Portion size for price was too small. Fish Taco size for $21 was embarrassing. Although the filet enchiladas had good quality meat in them you got plain white rice and refried beans and then just sauce drizzled all over everything it was pretty plain for $25 not what I would expect. The guacamole was amazing it's a shame the chips weren't good to go with it the sauces were bold and delicious.

Yelp
Went to happy hour before spending an evening at Durango station..wanted to try it for a long time. Ordered a HH beer for 4 dollars, Atomic duck IPA from Abel brewing a local brewery..cold and delicious..ridiculous cheap at this price point..all the drinks and draft beers half off, so you can really get a good drink for a much better price..Hub got non alcohol beer not on sale for 8 dollars because it was in a bottle.. he liked it. They give you chips and salsa for free, but you have to ask for it, or they will not automatically bring to you..this comes with two salsas, green more mild and red with some kick. I decided on the HH cheese quesadilla, and hub got two carne asada tacos and a side order of beans..we both really like our meals. Server and staff were very friendly and the atmosphere had great music and vibe...I only dock a star because there is better Mexican food in town..but it is a solid four star happy hour....perhaps if I try regular menu items next time it may reach the full five....

Yelp
Just had an amazing lunch at The Cantina by El Dorado, and I can't stop raving about it! Shoutout to my boy Andy for providing top-notch service and making my visit extra special. The street tacos here are an unbeatable deal at just $5 each. I tried three varieties--Carnitas, Carne Asada, and Chicken--and they were all bursting with flavor. But my personal favorite was the chicken taco, which was simply divine. To wash down those tasty tacos, I paired them with a margarita, and it was the perfect combination. The refreshing tang of the margarita complemented the savory goodness of the tacos beautifully. With delicious food, excellent service from Andy, and a vibrant atmosphere, The Cantina by El Dorado has definitely won me over. I'll be back for more soon!

Yelp
Went to The Cantina by El Dorado with my fellow LOTK (Ladies of the Knight) group for our final Golden Knights watch party of the regular season, where they were playing against the Edmonton Oilers. Getting there was super easy - I got off the exit on Buffalo, took Rafael Rivera Way from there and boom, I arrived at my destination. It's kind of in a strange location behind the 215 freeway, surrounded by multiple medical and office complexes. Our group ended up in our own little private room, which was small but super cozy, enough to fit at least 30 people inside. I strolled in by myself and took a seat at a booth with two other ladies with a great view of four TV screens to watch the game on. Getting to hang out and watch a Golden Knights game with new people in my group is a huge pleasure for me and I had an excellent time bonding with them. Our waitress was Allie or Alyssa, I don't 100% remember her name. She was very accommodating with us and the rest of our group and refilled our waters every now and then. I looked over their food and drink menu and ordered their Skinny El Dorado Margarita. Margaritas are one of my favorite alcoholic drinks out there, so I really enjoyed the drink. Later on, my peers ordered a big pitcher of one of their signature flavors, I think it was mango. Unfortunately, I could only have one drink as I drove here, so I skipped the pitcher. Corn fritter and quesadillas were food items featured during this visit. The quesadillas, which came with sour cream, avocado, and pico de gallo on the side, were very cheesy and very tasty! I ended up dipping them in sour cream on a couple of occasions. My peers, who ordered the corn fritter, asked me if I wanted to try it, which I kindly accepted. However, it was a little too spicy for my taste, so I just put the rest aside. Sadly, our final watch party ended on a low note, as our Golden Knights were blown out 1-5. But to end this review positively, the food and drinks here were absolutely phenomenal and I got to take home some prizes with me after entering my name in a raffle!

Yelp
Cantina has really been my go to Mexican restaurant in this area of Vegas, and I have met up with out of town friends and family here over the last couple years. Everyone has always loved it here, so it's just not me! The food is delicious, the service is very hospitable and the presentation of the dishes are beautiful. Several of my favorites are the enchiladas (any of them), the taco salad is wonderful and the desserts are just as great. So, yes I am bumping it up to five stars. I can always count on their consistency here for delicious flavors, friendliness and care in preparation.

Yelp
My friend and I were here during happy hour (3-6pm) on a Wednesday afternoon. We stayed past happy hour and even then, the place was empty. We never saw anyone else that was sat on our side. I'm unsure if this is unusual for a Wednesday afternoon or if it's normally like this. The place is big & split in two. When you first walk in, to the left you have the bar area and some dining tables and the right is all just dining tables. While the service is great, the food was mediocre. From the happy hour menu we ordered the aguachiles & the jalapeño spinach dip. The spinach dip didn't really taste like a typical spinach dip and it was just very cream heavy and not very good. The aguachiles on the other hand were fire, literally! Soo good and spicy (if you like spicy food)! For my entree I ordered a fish battered taco and a quesabirria taco ($5 each) and then I also added a side of rice & beans for $4. The fish taco was absolutely disgusting and it smelled and tasted like the fish had gone bad. Thankfully our server was able to remove it from our check. I really liked the quesabirria taco and it even comes with a side of the consume! I highly recommend it. My friend had the chicken enchiladas which she really liked as well. I'd say the best deal is their drinks/margaritas. They are $10 during happy hour and have all sorts of fun flavors. This is definitely a place I'd see myself drinking again.

Yelp
Muy Delicioso! I have always wanted to try this little cantina and I'm glad my family and I selected to dine here on Christmas Eve. They have a cozy dining area on one side and a bustling bar on the other. The decor here includes creative Day of the Dead masks along with modern, stylish light fixtures. I selected the shrimp enchiladas, my hubby had a steak burrito, and our littles' enjoyed the cheese quesadilla with rice on the kids menu. Order the chips and salsa to start, I couldn't stop eating them lol. Maybe consider adding more items to the menu, similar to the other locations. I overheard other patrons who frequent here often that they were disappointed with the menu change. We enjoyed everything we ordered this evening and would love to see more options. Craving Mexican food and a hip atmosphere? Check out The Cantina at Eldorado asap!

Yelp
Mood: Happy hour bites I've been to El Dorado in TV: wasn't too much of a difference both decor and good wise. Overall it was the same bland tasting food to me. The service was a little slow : it was happy hour and maybe only 6 customers so wasn't sure why but it is ok. Food: Taco trio 7/10: had three kinds chicken, carne asada and shrimp. The best one was shrimp and that included a slaw. The taste of the chicken was a little greasy. Nachos 4/10 very bland and cheese was too hard too fast. Not the best texture of nachos. Mexican corn: 5/10: definitely not elote. It was really corn with seasoning and light cheese not authentic but tasted ok. So after going to both locations I'm sure I'll stick to other other options for just person reasons on enjoying Mexican cuisine.

Yelp
A relatively solid choice for Happy Hour! I was here with my coworkers for a midweek happy hour. The cocktails were delicious (I had the bourbon peach lemonade-- yum!) and I was absolutely wowed by the ambiance and the roses all over the restaurant. The music was a nice mix of R&B and early 00's music which set a really great fun vibe. I think that the ambiance really added a lot to the experience. I even took a peek at the dining room on the way to the bathroom and found it was equally as pretty. Butterfly themed! The reason I'm taking off a star is portion sizes. 8$ for one bacon-wrapped shrimp is a little much. The house-made guac was delicious and definitely well worth the price. The chicken taquito happy hour deal was also really small, but at least had five pieces as opposed to just one shrimp. Our server was very nice, but did neglect to tell us about the 8$ shrimp just being one when we had a party of 6. I don't really fault her though. We sat in the bar area for about two hours and never felt like we were being rushed away and they checked on us for drink refills often. I plan to return to have lunch or dinner for an actual entree!

Yelp
What an unexpected pleasure! It's perfect for an afternoon meal and marg. When I walked in, the environment was more akin to a sexy gambling bar than a festive Mexican restaurant. I came on a quiet early afternoon. Music is deliciously alternative. Servers are sweet and careful. My server Jasmine took careful note of my dislike of cilantro, and recommended several dishes for me to try. I ended up with the the Al pastor tacos with pineapple, which was perfect. Margaritas are only made with fresh lemon and lime, no sour mix (Don Julio Reposado for me!). I finished with a lovely and rich Flan, crisscrossed with caramel. Chefs kiss! I'll be back.

Yelp
I've been coming to this location for a couple years and it's now renamed and called the Cantina that focuses more on the bar side with elevated bites that everyone loves! My favorite part about this place is the fact that the bar side interior has pretty lights and flower walls -- every holiday has such cute decorations to match with it. Upon arrival, I used OpenTable to make my reservation and the process was seamless. Once you enter, you can go either left or right, depending on if you want to drink, or a place to sit down and eat, and we opted for the dining room. I was bummed to hear that the guac is not served table side at this location, however, it was still delicious. My family and I went in on some tacos and each one was flavor packed with delicious goodness. Our top one ended up being the birria taco! I ended up ordering the cauliflower and Al Pastor taco as well, which were both very flavorful. One thing that I wanted to highlight was the service, our waitress was so nice and kept up with the whole room, constantly checking on us if we needed something. :)

Yelp
At this el dorado location, upon walking in there is a sign to seat yourself and there is a bar and restaurant area. At the table on a little placement advertisement you are advised to scan the QR code to start placing orders for food/drinks and it gives you the option to pay right away which kind of confused me. I understand most places use the QR code for menus but to actually place the order takes away from the dining in experience in my opinion. Our server was nice and answered the questions I had about the menus. We started with the table side guac which was delicious but there was a pit of the avocado left in our guacamole which thank goodness we didn't swallow it! Lol. The main dishes we ordered were both delicious and definitely the best part of the meal. I got the chicken fajitas which are served w/onions and bell peppers and it came out steaming hot. We also got the crispy chicken tacos which were great as well. Unfortunately we were caught off guard when getting the churros because I have gotten these before at another location and was really excited for them and on their menu they showed the picture of the exact churro I was expecting, however when they came out it was completely different and little bite sized churros that didn't even seem fresh but they were charging the same amount for it, which should be adjusted, you can't charge the same for something that is not the same whatsoever. Thankfully it was taken off our tab which was nice because we barley could eat it sadly, this location has amazing potential if they can do some minor menu changes, and make the experience more personable. If I could rate just our main dishes aside from everything those are 5 stars dishes...

Yelp
We ordered food from this local spot during our Vegas stay and the food was not good at all. The aguachiles were overpriced, extremely salty, and the shrimp had this rubbery feel to it. The tostadas were covered in salt. The asada tacos were not good. I cannot speak on the customer service because we did not dine in. This review if for a pick up order. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Yelp
Super food, great drinks, and perfect zero. We will be back!!! New favorite Mexican restaurant.

Yelp
Came for happy hour on a Tuesday with some friends. Big fan of the OG El Dorado Cantina and this spot is also so delish. It's located inside a business center, right by Baguette Cafe. I feel like this location has to kill it for lunch time for the businesses. The vibe in here is similar to the others, however it's more broken into two area. There's a bar are and then a seated dinner area. We were seated in the dinner area. Our server was fantastic and took great care of us. I ended up getting the house margarita. They also had certain tacos a La carte for Taco Tuesday but I couldn't go to El Dorado Cantina and not get my favorite lobster tacos!! They were just as good here as the other two locations! Soooo tasty. I don't know how to explain it, but the lobster tacos are seriously out of this world delicious. We also got the guacamole and that was so good as well. Now that I've been to all three locations, I definitely think they do a great job at staying consistent with their food and service and ambiance at all three. Definitely would recommend this location for sure!

Yelp
I ordered 8 Birria tacos for here through UberEats. Each order comes with a side Consommé and we only received one 4oz side of Consommé for 8 tacos! This is unacceptable and completely ruined the meal.

Yelp
My family and I went here on a whim right after church, which happened to be about 9pm. Unfortunately the dining room was closed and we ended up sitting in the Bar area. It wasn't too bad, the music was pretty loud but it was ok, at least we were still able to hear each other. The menu is a QR code of which I know a lot of places are doing now but I honestly don't like it. It just makes the experience a little impersonal. We barely saw our server. She came to bring us water and our food and came by one other time to see if we need more water. Thankfully the food was pretty good. We were hoping for a vegan/vegetarian as some of us are plant based. My hubby and daughter ordered the cauliflower tacos. They said that they were one of the best they've had. I had the nachos, they were better than I expected, the chips were crisp and the guacamole was delicious. I can't say too much about the pico de gallo, since it was lacking but I was satisfied. My son had a burrito and my son in law had enchiladas. We all agreed that the food was delicious and pretty affordable. For the 5 of us, the check was under $90. This may be our go to place whenever we can't decided where to go after 9pm on a Sunday. I would recommend this place just by the food and affordability.
google avatar

Yelp
What a disappointment..the menu has been stripped down with many favorites left off and with NO way to do when inquiring-example-we asked for a simple queso dip and they told us they didn't have the ingredients....really? The margaritas were good and nice that they do pitchers. The staff is hard to distinguish-they just wear their own clothes and blend so if ya need something it's a bit confusing. Given that this location is very very hidden-I suspect if they don't do something-they won't be there long. Don't compare this location with the others-no comparison-and definitely not the same offering.

Yelp
Great quality organic Mexican food here! They've got enchiladas, tacos, fajitas, tacos, and best of all guac and chips. I'm so happy they've got lunch specials (small portions) so that I can get just enough of what I want. The enchiladas and taquitos were popular with our group. I will say my rice was super salty for some reason, like grossly over salted, so couldn't really eat that. Everything else was decent. We got a birthday dessert flan dish that was delicious. Service was a bit slow at this location. Our food took a long time to come out for a group of 6. Our lunch went from an hour to almost two hours. It seemed like there was only one server during a weekday lunch. My lunch experience overall was average unfortunately.

Yelp
I really enjoyed the food and drinks here at the Cantina. The vibes are similar to Mas Por Favor in Chinatown. It's a really pretty and instagrammable restaurant. The food is also really good: I got 3 tacos, carne asada, Al pastor and crispy fish. However, I didn't taste much fish on my taco, just crisp. Hopefully they can improve upon that. I also liked my cucumber jalapeño margarita. It was very stiff, for only $12. The server was the only one in the restaurant and still managed to take care of our very big party quite well. Overall, would recommend Cantina for cheap Mexican eats and drinks in a beautiful setting.

Yelp
I went in excited to try this location with my boyfriend and we sat at the bar for maybe 10-15 minutes with no acknowledgement from the staff whatsoever even though they saw us sitting there. We watched two people walk in after us and get menus. Pretty disappointing.

Yelp
Bomb spot for Mexican food any time of day, it's open 24/7. Love their Al Pastor Tacos, El Dorado Nachos and Chips & Salsa. They also have good drinks and lit vibes! They were playing all the Latin jams, feels like I'm at the club (a lot of Bad Bunny, Rauw, Jhayco, etc.)! Don't forget to check in to receive a free House Margarita or draft beer. "Party, party, party, party, party, party, party, party!"

Yelp
Great food, great service, fun atmosphere!! They have the best steak & chicken nachos in Vegas! Margaritas are soo good too!

Yelp
First off I love this place. This visit was during restaurant week and as always the food was amazing, the service was great as always and the ambiance is always a cool Place to be in. For restaurant week they offer a $40 menu with 3 courses, plentiful choices and a portion of the proceeds goes to charity. I always have the table side guacamole, my runes had the grilled mahi which was some of the best so far. I had the fajitas that was a meal there and then the leftovers provided a second meal. On Wednesday I came to find out it was $10 margarita night, yum. I really like this place and I highly recommend any location here in town.

Morgan G.

Yelp
Food is delicious and the staff is amazing!! Love that it's not smokey like most of the bars in town!

Yelp
The food was amazing the service was outstanding and a great place to take ig photos. Shout out to the bartenders. Behind the bar they did amazing

Yelp
My daughter and I went to have lunch here. After waiting more than 10 minutes with no one to even greet us we left. Poor service.

Yelp
This place place has a great selection of tacos from Carne asada to lobster! I highly recommend the fajita bowl too. Frank the bartender makes the best margarita using fresh ingredients and tajin on the rim. Any time you go in, you always know who your server or bartenders are since they keep a solid crew. Kim, Alyssa, Jennifer, Ashley, are just a few who will make sure you get the best service and lead you to the right machine for those jackpots! Delicious tacos and jackpots?! Yes please!!

Yelp
I was extremely disappointed with this location. First of all, I had initially had a reservation for the Tivoli Village location, which I go to frequently. That location called me and cancelled my reservation because of a private event, which was also very disappointing. So to The Cantina I went. I did not know they rebranded this location and is no longer an El Dorado restaurant. It's now just a gaming bar with a few booths. They have some of the same items on the menu with more emphasis on small bites. It is in a very odd location too, not a typical spot for a restaurant. I ordered the green pozole, filet mignon tacos and birria taco, which I have gotten before at the Tivoli location and enjoy them there with no issues. This location lacked flavor and seasoning, everything was terribly bland and flavorless. Their chips were stale and you could tell they had refried them and the salsa was bland lacking any flavor. Nothing in my meal was worth the price we paid so we definitely will not be coming back. Extremely dissatisfied and disappointed. If you just want to drink and gamble, this is your place since you have to be drunk to enjoy the food.

Yelp
This is the most wonderful place I've ever eaten at in my entire life. The cuisine is absolutely genius and the customer service here is amazing. I always see the same familiar faces whether they're working or eating there. The time pick up is very quick and if you're eating inside, your food will come almost immediately. The inside of the place seems extremely clean and kitchen interior seems spotless.

Yelp
Amazing! From the host to the food. She was very attentive and kind to us. Food wise! Let me just say, we were happy to make the drive. I order the green pozole, it has a bit of a spicy, just scrumptious! Husband order the chilaquiles, freshly made and rice and bean were great. Son order the taco carnitas with rice and beans, he ate all his food, and still ask for dessert. The churros he order has cajeta in the middle. If in Vegas, I will definitely go back there.

Jimmie J.

Yelp
Visiting from H-Town with family stop in food was amazing service was excellent and Yessica definitely helped us out since it was our first time definitely coming back and getting one to go I tri the Snoop Dogg Lol!!!

Yelp
Amazing spot! Alyssa was fantastic and very helpful. And the best enchiladas in the valley. And great vibe.

Yelp
We came on Christmas night to have a small bite after traveling all day. We sat at the bar, and the dining room was closed. The bartender, Ashley, was kind but very distracted. This felt more like an Applebee's or Chili's. We ordered the steak enchiladas and the Mexican street corn. The corn was very good, but very disappointed with the enchiladas. The plate was unbelievably hot, pulled straight from the sun, but was that how they expected to heat the food because it was barely room temperature. The flavor was ok, and we were starving, so we still ate it. It was also very dry, as if they ran out of enchilada sauce. This place is nothing like the Tivoli village location. Do yourself a favor and drive the extra distance for an overall better experience.

Yelp
Kyle took care of my meal when I went back. The staff was very accommodating, and the meal tasty. I ordered a chicken burrito. Yummy. I don't know if the Cantina is still charging for tips, so check your bill. As long as it's known, check out The Cantina for good food and drinks!

Yelp
Probably the best wings I've had so far this year. Honey Chipotle wings were amazing here. Came in for some tacos but saw them on the menu.. so of course I had to order them. Super cute place. It was really quiet for a Saturday afternoon. The waitress was friendly and the restaurant was nice clean.

Yelp
This restaurant was tricky to locate . It's in an industrial called Center Point which is right off the 215 west and Buffalo - it's on sunset so between Buffalo and Durango. Beautiful restaurant and food was good and so were the margaritas but service was slow and we were the only people on the restaurant side (they have a bar side too) Waitress was nice and they allowed us to separate checks 4 ways.

Yelp
DONT ORDER TAKEOUT all online prices are different up charged from paper menu. Be aware - clueless manager, who is two weeks on the job and is extremely not pro business. False advertising on Lobster Tacos - online says 2 tacos for $17.10 but instead you get one taco. Avoid this place! I think this is worst customer service in my 30 years dining out. Tuna online $18.50 - on paper menu $16 I had full right to express how I feel about quantity and prices inconsistency, perhaps false advertisement. On what manager just walked away and shouted I am causing "disturbance" to the place and the way she yelled she spooked the guy who was next to me drinking and gambling. Sure send all your customers out the door.

Yelp
Just moved next door to this place and was excited to check it out. Left my card at the bar and when I called they said they didn't have it and would call if they did. 4 hours later I went back because I was sure I left it there. We asked our server to check for it (she never did), then they proceeded to bring us 2 rounds of the smallest shots I've ever gotten (literally 0.5 oz), while serving full shots to those around us. Finally before we left I asked the bartender about my card and it had been right there the whole time. My girlfriend and I would have been regulars here and spent thousands of dollars but will never come back now. We are service industry so it takes a lot to piss us off, but this situation was a deal breaker.

Yelp
Service was non existent. Walked in and sat at the bar. Ended up scanning the QR code to order but it had to be set up through Apple Pay. Once we got that far on our phones, we were greeted & ordered the Monday Margaritas for $5 (the app promoted this price). Once we got the drinks we ordered the food, and that was all. Once the food was dropped off the runner asked if we needed anything, so we asked for share plates & napkins. Tacos were good but not worth going back. FOH was on their phone & it's understandable if you had no customers during happy hour.

Yelp
If you're the type that doesn't like reading long winded reviews then all you need to know is the food at this place is DELICIOUS! You must go and you won't regret it. I recommend the steak fajitas, shrimp enchiladas and the flan!! Now for the rest of you..... I live near Anthem and was looking for a New Mexican restaurant. El Dorado cantina didn't really catch my attention because in my experience "Cantinas" were more for drinking and fast food but my mother insisted and I agreed. We ended up going to this location instead of the strip (to avoid traffic and large crowds). When I first pulled up it seemed like any other strip mall restaurant but as soon as I walked inside I was impressed with the beautiful decorations. A good sign that the restaurant was inviting, clean, and the decoration was thoughtful. Ambiance is part of the experience and it sets the excitement and expectations for what is to come. We skipped on the appetizers and ordered a variety of entrees. Steak fajitas Shrimp enchiladas Mole Street tacos (carnitas, chicken, steak) Flan and churros Everything was delicious. Seasoned just right, not greasy, cooked to perfection, fair portions, and the food was hot. (Yes that matters. Some restaurants will bring you like warm food and it does make a difference.) IMO Dinner was topped off with the silkiest, creamiest, smoothest, flan I've ever had. The only downside is the micro portion. I would say the only disappointment were the churros. These churros were round and too hard for my liking. I typically enjoy light and fluffy churros with a light crunch and warm soft center. My go to is flan so not a big deal but just letting you know in case you're a churro fan! Parking was super easy and this location is cozy (aka small). Next time we will the strip location.

Yelp
I can honestly say I am HIGHLY impressed with this place. It is a little hard to find as it's hidden between office buildings. It's almost hidden in plain sight, when we found it we couldn't believe how we drive passed it the first time! LOL. I came here with a friend because we were hungry and we ended up staying longer than expected. I ordered some chicken taquitos and drank two margaritas (one house margarita and one prickley pear), it was all DELICIOUS. I ordered another cocktail and I honestly wish I could have tried everything on the menu because I kept getting impressed with every drink and every bite of food. The aesthetic is beautiful, I love the roses on the wall as you walk in and throughout the restaurant. I loved the artwork. Customer service was phenomenal. The bartenders were all super fun and friendly. The manager was sooo sweet. I'm overall very impressed with this place. I would definitely come back.

Yelp
They don't skimp on the portion sizes here! Not to mention, the food tastes great. I have tried the carnitas burrito, the fajita bowl, some of their vegan options, etc., and have been here for a birthday and got to try their awesome dessert. I have yet to have something I didn't like. The servers are always friendly and helpful as well. Last night we got Nathan, and he was attentive and made sure our group was happy during our time dining in. You can't go wrong sitting on the restaurant side or the bar side because they both offer booths and a vibey atmosphere. My only compliant was the slightly long wait time for things. They maybe were understaffed when we came in. It was also a bit late for dinner, around 8pm, so it was no worries. The look and flavor of the food made the wait worth it. The Carnitas Burrito had a proper coating of the enchilada style pour-over of salsa and cheese on top. They really put a lot of meat in there. I ate the whole thing! The House Margarita was good but pretty strong this time. I have had it before where it was a little more balanced. Still good though! I'll definitely be back.

Yelp
This place is so cool! The atmosphere, the food & the service are all excellent. We ordered the chicken street tacos & pulled chicken enchiladas. Delicious! Pricing is a little bit more than other similar restaurants but the food was worth it. It was around $20.00 for each entree. The photos of the area we were seated in are the bar side & the other side of the restaurant is the more family oriented dining side. The roses on the walls, red velvet stools, black leather booths, nice music playing, tv's spread around to watch whatever game you're interested in, just a great place. Decent sized patio seating as well! Awesome place!

Yelp
I absolutely love El Dorado Cantina! This was my first visit to this location, as I've been to the main location located behind the Strip, but I certainly love this one even more! The decor is elegantly done for a Mexican cantina, and causes you to sit and stare at a job well done with the decorating! Just like their other locations, the food is extremely fresh! The meats in the tacos are more than fair in quantity, and the freshness of the meats is extroidinary. Their salsas are not free, but it is well worth ordering their chips and salsa as it's some of the best that I've ever had! Their happy hour drinks are a deal, and a happy hour margarita made with Lunazul is not a bad deal!

Yelp
The service is always on point! I've come here for my christmas party and for valentines day and I love the vibe. The chips and salsa are actually my favorite so that's definitely a win. I love how the bar side and the restaurant side are separated so my boyfriend and I like to gable at the bar. I will say the food is basic. I tried their carne tacos and the meat wasn't my favorite and their margaritas taste like the mix is pre made, I can get a better margarita at Chilis. But We keep coming back because the service is the best and the vibes are good and they make a mean dirty martini.

Yelp
Came in because saw that they were promoting Halloween drinks. Went to the bar side to have the bartender and patrons stare at us. No one greeted us. So went to the dining side. Had two different servers walk past us multiple times. Didn't even acknowledge us. We left after 10 minutes of sitting. Too bad because this was our first time and I really wanted to try it.

Yelp
This was my first time trying El Dorado Cantina. I really really wanted to like this restaurant...I placed a pick up order through GRUBHUB. It was pretty pricey but I assumed the food would totally be worth it. I made my way to the restaurant after receiving a notification that my order was ready. When I arrived, my order was not yet prepared. I thought it wasn't a big deal. I didn't have anywhere to go and I wasn't in a rush. I waited outside for about 15 minutes. During that time it didn't seem like they were busy as there weren't many people inside. The host updated me on my order and about 15 more minutes passed by until my food was actually ready. They still did not seem busy when I walked in. I'm not sure if the kitchen was short staffed or if maybe they failed to send my order to the kitchen. Regardless, I was happy to finally have my food. Once I got home I unpacked everything...I was let down by the presentation and serving size. Before ordering I browsed through images online and chose based on those images. I ordered the chicken fajita platter which looked large enough for two people. Boy was wrong, the serving size was small. So many peppers and barely any chicken. It looked nothing compared to the platters online. The chicken was dry, rice and beans were okay (still, serving size much smaller than imaged), and tortillas had a bitter aftertaste. Taking everything into consideration (price, service, quality, etc), I believe there are better places in town more worthy of your money if you want a satisfying meal. I must say, the inside of the restaurant is nicely decorated and seems like quite an experience. If that is what you are looking for, this might be a good place to check out.

Yelp
Eldorado has gotten so out-of-control expensive, it's hardly worth going anymore, especially considering their lack of staffing. We walked in, waited for about 3 minutes in the lobby and very hesitantly decided to seat ourselves. We then waited a few minutes at a table trying to catch the eye of a server (there were none) before noticing a QR code on the table that not only takes you to the menu, but you can fully order right there, similar to the tablets you see at Applebees. We decided to try it out, but there isn't a way to make sure that drinks and appetizers come out first, you just order all at once. Immediately after we placed our order, a waiter came over to take our order! He was super nice and I asked him about staggering our food. He was friendly and checked in on us a couple of times during our visit. They seriously need to put a couple of signs up to tell you to seat yourself and order your own food. It's basically a fast casual experience at this point. With the QR code Union menu, I didn't notice a place to leave a tip, so I was pretty disappointed to get home and find they had tacked almost 20% onto my tab. I was planning on tipping, of course, but 20% when I did all the work myself aside from walking back to the kitchen and preparing my own food? That certainly wouldn't have been my choice. It also doesn't give you an option to print a receipt, so I had to call and ask for one later. They were relatively helpful in getting it for me and sending me a picture of it so I didn't have to come back in, but everyone I spoke to seemed surprised at the request. Their phone line is nearly impossible to get ahold of - it's one of those corporate ones with a few options like press one for a reservation, etc., etc., ending in "For more information visit our website." Not helpful. I finally decided to use the reservation line. Food was great; we both had the Al Pastor lunch tacos. The margaritas were pretty standard and not at all worth upwards of $15. Overall, Eldorado used to be a consistent, fun experience in a beautiful space, but their pricing has gone up while quality and service has gotten lazy. You can find much better similar food close by with a better vibe. For a similar service experience, try Chilis or something - it's just as impersonal.
