The Canvas Bar

It’s been a year since we’ve been living above this amazing place that has saved our dinner plans so many times! On top of the great service, they offer a special to-go option for residents living above, with discounted prices. My husband and I order at least once a week from Canvas Restaurant, the all menu is amazing but the baby back ribs and the Milanese are our favorites! The drinks, bar, and overall atmosphere are really cool; we truly love having this spot so close to us. The owner, Giuseppe, is wonderful, always available with a big smile. We highly recommend this place, whether for dinner or just a drink!

Starting with the good, the spicy marg was delicious and the burger was really tasty with the gochujang sauce. The ribs were fall off the bone, however, the meat also tasted a bit over refrigerated. In general, the food and drinks were enjoyable! For a bar, the specialty cocktail menu felt rather limited. Service was also alright. We only saw our server when he took our order and brought out the food - Otherwise, he never gave us a refill on our waters or really checked on us. The restaurant wasn’t too busy, so service felt inattentive. It seems like a chill place that is still figuring things out. I would go back, but they definitely have room to do better.

The ambience strikes the perfect balance between a chill lounge/bar and a spacious, welcoming restaurant, making it an ideal setting for all occasions . The menu offers a thoughtfully crafted mix of cuisines inspired by the proprietors background with a mix of Italian but focusing on American cuisines , with every dish feeling intentional and genuinely delicious. Service is another highlight you’re never overwhelmed, yet you always have exactly what you need. Whether you’re planning a date night, celebrating with a larger group, or just catching your favorite sports game on one of their many TVs, The Canvas Bar delivers a warm welcoming experience. I can’t wait to spend more time with friends and family and this hidden little gem.

Beautiful and elegant place with inside and outside seating; GREAT service, good quality; delicious cocktails and fair price with an Italian touch. Based on this experience, we truly recommend it.

Absolutely fantastic experience! This sports bar exceeded all expectations. The food was nothing short of 5-star quality . The atmosphere was lively yet comfortable, music 80s making it a great spot to relax and enjoy. The staff was friendly and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed. I can’t recommend this place enough you’re there for the food, the drinks, or the sports, it’s amazing all around. I’ll definitely be coming back!

The Canvas Bar is a great spot for drinks and food. I went with friends for Happy Hour and it was awesome! The chicken wings were delicious! Adrianna was our waitress. She was very friendly and professional. Giuseppe, the owner, was very welcoming and made us feel at home. For those that don’t know: there is a speakeasy in the back. 🤫

Giuseppe is the sweetest manager I’ve ever met. The tuna tartar tacos & meatballs are amazing!! The aperol spritz, limoncello margarita, & Italian American smash are my top favorite. Definitely coming back!!

Amazing bar in CANVAS. Super friendly host and service, trying to do everything possible to make your evening better. We loved it and surely come back. Don’t forget the 3- times a week live events with music and show! For all the sports fans out there, lots of screens and always willing to change channels for whatever you’d like to watch!
