Delicious burgers! I ordered the Capital Burger and it was amazing. The flavor of the beef, the caramelized onions, and the melted cheese came together perfectly to make one incredible burger. We also tried the Kung Pao Brussels Sprouts, which were equally delicious. As a starter, they brought out a jar of fresh pickles—such a nice touch! Their drinks were also well-crafted and enjoyable. I’ll definitely be coming back. The food and service were both excellent!

Google
Excellent service, excellent food, order the burgers medium rare! I loved the delicious steakhouse style patty, as I am personally tired of this smash burger fad. The truffle fries were top quality too. If I am not mistaken it’s owned by the same group thats owns the Capital Grille which also happens to be my favorite steakhouse in town. Very nice booths too

Google
Our server, Adam was the star of the show here, suggesting how I custom build the best burger I ever had in my entire life. He took my restrictions and made a dish that blew me away and made me feel there was nothing missing. My family enjoyed the ahi tuna nachos. Fantastic place a great meal and beyond amazing service.

My second visit to The Capital Burger had its ups and downs. The service was good overall, our waiter was good, but the hostess was on the phone the whole time , walking and looking at her phone walking back and forth in the restaurant. The burger’s quality and flavor were still solid, but it was smaller and less thick than before. Kung Pao Brussels Sprouts & fries were on point, order the truffle ones! Tell them that Flavia sent you🙂

Google
First time at the Capital Burger and I have to say the burger wasn’t bad BUT go to Yard House if you’re reading this review. Their burgers will blow you away and that’s not even what they specialize in. Our server was great! He helped us with a few things that came out not so good such as the pretzel being SUPER salty and the Smoked Bacon Old Fashioned being SUPER sweet lol regardless he helped us get it fixed. We wouldn’t come back just because the menu is very small (something that is usually good most of the time but not here).

Google
We had started with the clam chowder, then the calamari as appetizer. For the main course we ordered the cheeseburger with truffle fries and the blue cheese black truffle burger with a Caesar salad side. The clam chowder was not fantastic but everything else was absolutely delicious. The burgers were cooked to medium rare perfection and the calamari best I’ve had. The Caesar salad was also surprisingly very good. I Highly recommend Capital burger.

Google
It was my first time here and the menu is full of items I want to try. When I first got here there were a few tables seated, and it wasn't noisy. Our waitress was great as she was knowledgeable and able to make suggestion based on our questions. I ordered the capital burger, devilled eggs, the smoked Bacon Old Fashion, and the peanut butter cup shake, and the Irish coffee made with Tito's vodka instead of the Irish whiskey. No disappointments!

Google
Very good indeed. Recommended. The blue cheese burger was just amazing. Long time since I have a blue cheese burger so good. They bring you some sweet pickels extremelly good. Have to say I really enjoy this. With more than 1 million views my reviews are honest and accurate . Punch the like button to support this initiative. Not affiliated to this place on any way.

Yelp
Been meaning to try this local restaurant for a while after hearing they won Gables burger event recently. Immediately created by the hostess and minimal wait time for a group of 7. Place is perfectly lit and bar setup and selection great and varied. We had the Tuna Nachos, Brussels Sprouts, and The Classic Cheese burger. All were delicious and perfectly cooked and seasoned. The burger was medium and just right with a pink center and juicy(Didn't have a chance to take picture). Overall food was very good.

Yelp
We were invited to celebrate our son's birthday for lunch at Capital Burger. So glad that this restaurant was chosen for this special occasion. First of all , it's family friendly, so seven people including 3 children was not only allowed , but actually welcomed. We were immediately taken care of by our amazing and professional server Jake. He was accommodating taking into consideration that the kids' orders would come out first , so as to allow the adults to enjoy the delicious cocktails and appetizers. Some cocktails ordered were Capital Grille Stoli Doli, and Blackberry Smash .... five stars. We also ordered the Pretzel and Calamari, both were winners as well. Our unanimous selection was the Blue Cheese and Truffle burger and that did not disappoint either. Of course no birthday celebration would be complete without the delectable Key lime pie and the Belgian Chocolate Mousse. Additionally, we concluded this special meal with their delicious Expresso Martini. Capital Burger takes comfort food to a higher level. But it's the friendly staff and ambiance that will make you come back.

Yelp
Came here to celebrate a birthday party. Service was great and accommodating. We had some unaccounted for guests attend the dinner. Food came out hot and was worth the price. There's a garage right behind the restaurant for parking, if you are unable to find street parking.

Yelp
Visited The Capital Burger and it was ok! The burgers were very good! However - I wanted to try the Lobster Roll and it was a bit disappointing. Granted! It's a Burger place! We did order two beers, and only one came, after we were done with the appetizer I canceled my beer. The place was busy, it was during Miracle on the Mile... but, it wasn't a complicated order. Other than that, would try again another day when it's not as busy to see if the experience is better.

Yelp
We stopped by Capital Burger for lunch on a Saturday, and while we had made a reservation, it wasn't necessary as the restaurant was spacious with plenty of comfortable booths. Our waitress, Beyoncé, was fantastic--very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. The meal started off with a nice touch: house-made pickles, which were really tasty! I ordered the burger with mushrooms, and it was delicious! The portion was generous, so I only ate half and saved the rest to heat up in my air fryer for dinner. The burger was fresh, juicy, and hit the spot. I also got the Gouda fries, and they were so good my little one ended up devouring most of them! Speaking of my little one, she had the kids burger and fries, which she found juicy and tasty. She's already planning on getting the Gouda fries next time! She also loved her chocolate shake, calling it delicious. We'll definitely be back soon!

Yelp
Burger joint on miracle mile that's affiliated with The Capital Grill. The place was nice inside and pretty busy for a Sunday afternoon. We ordered a couple burgers "medium" and they came out properly cook to order, pink in the middle. The fries came out fresh and crispy as well. We also chose a caesar salad which tasted great, for those trying to be a little health conscious. We finished things off with a Makers mark boozy shake which was great for an after meal drink. Staff seemed overwhelmed and kitchen was busy but maybe that's was the time/day we came in. All in all, a solid burger place and I'll will be for sure returning to this one.

Yelp
Having previously enjoyed The Capital Burger in Washington DC, we were thrilled to learn they had opened a new location in Coral Gables. Opting for their $35 special, which includes a Starter, Main, and Dessert, we began our culinary journey with the Lobster Bisque. The bisque was exceptionally creamy and delicious, setting a high bar for the rest of the meal. Next, we indulged in their famous "Capital Burger." This burger is a culinary delight, reminiscent of French onion soup but ingeniously crafted into a burger. It was truly a standout dish that we thoroughly enjoyed. For dessert, we chose the Belgian Chocolate Mousse. While it was a treat for chocolate lovers, I personally would have preferred a mix of another flavor to balance the richness. Nonetheless, the mousse was well-prepared and satisfying. The service, while good, had room for improvement. We found ourselves repeatedly seeking out our server for drink refills, to place our dessert order, and to request the bill, which detracted from the overall experience. The ambiance was charmingly classic, with a nostalgic touch that made us feel as if we were transported back to the early 1900s. This added a unique and enjoyable aspect to our visit. Despite the minor service hiccups, we would definitely recommend giving The Capital Burger in Coral Gables a try. The food quality and overall dining experience make it well worth a visit.

Yelp
Came here for Fathers Day since my Dad wanted burgers, I was blown away with the quality burger. Not sure why I didn't expect that from the get go but glad we went. I had several mixed reviews but I can say it's a quality burger. Service was good, pretty decently fast food and got seated fairly fast. Parking can be tricky on the street but there is a garage right behind the restaurant. Nice low music with good lighting, bar seating, high top tables & regular tables. We ordered : - capital burger - bacon cheeseburger - classic burger - calamari - key lime pie

Yelp
We came with no reservations. It was Father's Day weekend so although the place was empty, they had many reservations. They were able to accommodate us outside though so that was good. We ordered pan fried calamari and brussel sprouts as appetizers. Both delicious. The calamari had a spiciness to it which was a welcomed surprise. Oh! Do not forget to try their boozy shakes. The bourbon salted caramel one was sooo good!! I had the blue cheese and black truffle burger with Parmesan truffle fries. Big burger patty, tangy blue cheese and earthy truffles? Yes please! No dessert though, we had no room.

Yelp
I went after the theater, 55 minutes before closing , it was my first time there. My girls and I were impressed they have Delicious burgers ! The plates were empty afterwards. I highly recommend it.

Yelp
I came here with a group of friends and the food was absolutely delicious. I had the blue cheese and black truffle burger with truffle fries. I love the pickles, our table ordered extra. Our server, Carlos, was great, friendly and professional. I can't wait to come back!

Yelp
The service here is the biggest standout, and the food is great too. I've been here twice. I got a burger and fries the first time. Both excellent. No complaints. The burger is thick and juicy, and the beef is high quality. The second time I got the salmon with Kung Pao Brussel sprouts with crispy bacon. Wow. Those Brussel sprouts never had it so good. The kung pao glaze was sweet and salty, not very spicy. Every piece of bacon was a pleasant surprise. I also had the key lime pie. The flavor was exactly what I wanted, and the consistency was thick and creamy. Also excellent. The salmon was only average. Don't look for crispy skin or a pink center. It was also light on flavor. Stick with the burgers here, and for sure get the Kung Pao Brussel sprouts and the key lime pie.

Carolina B.

Yelp
Great burgers but horrible service. Our waiter was the bartender He only came to our table one time the whole evening. He didn't even bother to come and ask how our food was and Didn't bother asking if we wanted another drink or dessert. No wonder the place was empty on a Saturday night.
google avatar

Natalia A.

Yelp
Had a reservation on a Tuesday night and they were very accommodating when we let them know we had an additional person. We came right after work and it was pretty empty but started getting more people as the evening went on. Word to the wise, I thought we'd be able to take advantage of the happy hour but it was only at the bar. My young daughter was with us so we decided to stay put. I had the shishito peppers to start, delicious and I forgot about to take a picture until I had already made a dent in them so the serving size is bigger than the picture posted. The highlight of the meal though was the bacon cheeseburger. The candied bacon really makes the dish ~chef's kiss~ Our service was pretty decent, nothing out of this world. Would definitely come back and partake in some libations next time too.

Yelp
I made our reservations thru open table, very quick and easy to make! Unfortunately you can't make reservations for more then 6 on the app and we where 8, luckily they where able to accommodate us. Everything had been smooth, simple and quick, up until this point. Our server was not the best... Luckily the food was really really good! And we all enjoyed it! The adult shake was amazing, the fries are a must as well. Highly recommend!
google avatar

Leslie S.

Yelp
Pros: music was great, ambiance was chill and food was great. I am super picky with lobster and theirs was buttery and delicious, not fishy AT ALL. The Brussels sprouts were to die for, perfectly seasoned and charred. My hubby loved his burger. Cons: No free parking. Will def return.
google avatar

Henry V.

Yelp
Never going back. The food quality is not worth it. There was a piece of plastic in my Lobster Bisque that made me choke. The manager kept saying, "I got you" but they still had the nerves to charge me for the soup! Insulting. The only good thing was the key lime dessert. It was fire but not enough to save the experience. I had the rib eye and nothing to brag about. Service was excellent and great atmosphere.

Yelp
Thank god there's a good burger place in the gables. It's summer in Miami so the place wasn't as lively but our server Carlos sure made up for it, funny and talkative guy, super attentive to all our needs We started with pretzels & the pickles and man they were good. I ended up taking some home lol. The burgers did not disappoint either, we had a blue cheese and black truffle burger and the capital burger Overall the vibe of the place was good.

Jackie G.

Yelp
I was not impressed, it took forever to get our food. The margarita (a sour lemonade after I gave my son the handspun shake which was no big deal. We had a burger, chicken sandwich, and a Veggie Burger again no big deal. The waiter was nice but the food took forever and the service was okay, the restaurant was not busy for a Sunday at around 2:00 PM. Better places to eat than here.
google avatar

Amanda M.

Yelp
Visited Capital Burger for the first time because we were craving...burgers. We dined in on a weeknight and the restaurant was not too busy, we were immediately seated. Alfonso our server was friendly and attentive. The drinks and food were solid. Stoli Dolis are on the menu which is a plus! Everyone has a favorite burger place and while CB didn't overtake my personal favorite, it's still a great option in the Gables!
google avatar

Alexandra G.

Yelp
I love the food here. I have been here twice and will say that the burgers and food are top notch. I love that this is capital grill based so everything is delicious however a bit more casual and affordable. Everything I have had here has been delicious but my favorite is always the capital burger and the pretzel with cheese. I even enjoy the mustarded pickles they put on the table instead of bread (and I don't typically eat pickles!) It is not too difficult to get a table here. I take off one star because the one time I sat at a table the service was not great - our food took a substantial time to arrive and getting the attention of the waiters for drinks refills took too long. Overall would continue coming here because food is just that good!
google avatar

Laura C.

Yelp
My hubby and I went for dinner and we were seated promptly. The ambiance was relaxed, since it was a weeknight. Our server brought out some water and the menus. We ordered the ahi appetizer and it was delicious. My blue cheese and mushroom burger was really good. For dessert we shared the chocolate cake and it was divine. I'd definitely recommend this restaurant for lunch or dinner.

Yelp
Came for the burger but order the filet mignon instead and I do NOT regret it! Love when chef takes pride in their seasonings and food temperature. The best Parmesan truffle fries were delish! Salmon was, also, delicious. Our server was a delight. Nice restaurant in our beloved Coral Gables.

Yelp
This burger place in downtown coral gables has one of the best burgers in town. If you're looking for a savory, high quality delicious and fresh burger, you have great options to choose from. My favorite is the blue cheese and truffle burger. It's a sensational experience. The dining experience and welcoming ambience is superb. I highly recommend it. I have not tried the milkshakes but I hear from the great service personnel that they are a must. They have with and without liquor. Carlos the manager and his wonderful staff are so nice and accommodating. Always a wonderful experience to dine here.

Yelp
Ok I am here to say I'm a Capital Burger Stan. Do you like drinks? Do you like burgers? Then this spot is for you. I've been twice, once for a glass of wine at the bar and recently for dinner. It's the kind of bar that asks if you want a 6 or 9 oz pour, a question I always respect. Now onto the main event- the burger. My dad and I sat at the bar and were helped by a gentlemen and a woman named Ashley (I think that was her name). Service was super attentive the whole time even tho the bar was completely full. We ordered dirty martinis. They're the steakhouse kind that are shaken so cold they have little ice flakes in them. Perfection. We also got the poke nachos which were delish. Upon our servers suggestion we both got the truffle and blue cheese burger. My god it was SO GOOD. The server explained that they have a special meat blend from their butcher in New Jersey and to be honest whatever it is, I'm here for it. The burger was delicious, perfectly cooked to medium with awesome flavor from the blue cheese and truffle but not overpowering at all. Will most definitely be back to crush more burgers. If you want a table, I would make a resi. The restaurant was totally packed on a Sunday early evening. Welcome to the Gables!
google avatar

Cathy O.

Yelp
If you are hungry for a high class burger, this could be your spot. And they all come with sea salt fries and a salad. You can select from mixed greens, chopped kale, or a classic Caesar. Our group mostly selected the Capital Burger--with caramelized onions, Gruyère cheese and a shallot aioli. I went for the roasted wild mushroom burger with balsamic vinegar, jarisberg Swiss cheese and truffle aioli and yes, it was as great as it sounds. I'm writing this a bit backwards, as we actually started out with a three cheese beer fondue hot Bavarian pretzel, well...because we had guys drinking beer. The perfect accompaniment. We also tried the fried calamari that came with hot cherry peppers. The calamari was nice and crispy. Oh, and the smoked Gouda (one of my cheese favs) cheese fries were perfection. Everything came perfectly cooked and service was fast.

Yelp
So, Capital Burger is a disappointment. Not so much for the food but for the quality of service and timeliness from the kitchen, I should say. I mean, it wasn't a terrible experience, but certainly one that can greatly improve. Chicken sandwiches were good, and the cheese fries were really good. The capital burger was okay. I ordered it medium rare and came medium to medium well but wasn't gonna send it back. The grilled salmon was a bit bland, but again, it was not terrible.

Landon C.

Yelp
Great service, amazing fries if you love salt. The signature Capital Burger was so good, when I asked for medium rare I actually got medium rare. The atmosphere was great, people dressed up in all ways, hoodies, pajamas, button up shirts. Highly recommend, if you're ready to spend $20-$25 per burger

Yelp
The restaurant itself has a calm, modern vibe with a nice bar. Variety of table options such as booths, hi tops, and tables. Definitely pairs well with the Gables esthetics. Hostess was polite and attentive, she gave us a nice semi-circular booth that had great mood lighting, and although it was not a private area, it felt private. The server was also very nice and attentive. She checked in often without being overbearing or intrusive. The food and drinks are really why I could not give this review more stars. The beer was an IPA Monopolio,it was ok, just ok. They did bring samples of all 3 they offered but no real stand outs. Also had the mint lemonade. This was straight bottled minutemaid, not a hint of mint, and it was extremely sweet. We both had the Capital Burger. This is a french soup inspired burger with gruyere cheese and caramlized onions. My burger was overly salty, and I could not eat it. My side of fries was also overly salted. The 2nd burger was not salty at all, but it had a frozen patty look and taste to it. We couldn't understand how two identical orders were prepared so differently. These burgers were on the higher price point of $21. The menu is overall on the higher price point for lunch. We opted out of desert (which originally was looking forward to) because we were so disappointed with the food. I am not sure I would give this place another try.

Yelp
Decided to check out this new spot on miracle mile and it did not disappoint! The space is clean and has lots of different seating options. We sat at the bar and the bartenders were very friendly and attentive. We ordered a couple martinis which were delicious. We ordered 2 classic burgers - one with an egg and another with the smoked Gouda cheese fries which were amazing!!! The burger was cooked perfectly and had so much flavor. I wish the burger bun was a little better, but overall a solid great burger! Definitely a good spot to go to on miracle mile if you are looking for a good time and good food! (They have tv's at the bar too).

Yelp
Capital Burger is one of those hidden gems, since you walk in the service is astounding they begin with some amazing mustard butter pickles and from there everything gets better and better! Kids got their Crayons and we all tried to beat the games before food arrived. We failed... food was out so fast and the first bite was EXHILARATING! The chicken sandwich is a bit spicy but it's not an overpowering spicy it hits the spot! The Capital Burger was cooked to perfection, juicy and flavorful, kids Grilled cheese was a slice of joy! With the cheese just a bit toasted on the side every bite was crunchy! And kids Burger even though it looks small it was perfectly sized and filling. The ambiance was full of some interesting art and the tvs were set to sports since it was Friday and past 4 pm. The Expresso Martini is a must and the kids shakes where the cherry to a perfect end of week. Family Friendly and everyone had a smile. We will be back!

Yelp
So, I just went to The Capital Burger with some friends and honestly, it was meh. On one hand, the staff is super friendly and welcoming. They definitely make you feel at home. But, the service was super slow, like slower than molasses. We had a reservation at 7 but the table wasn't ready so we waited 30-45 for the table to be ready. There was miscommunication so the hostess gave up our table because she didn't see us, even though we were at the bar, where she told us to go! Plus, they just opened a week ago and it felt like they weren't quite prepared for the demand. They were out of the beer that I wanted to order and it took three tries before they had one in stock! Overall, I would give The Capital Burger three stars. The lack of beer inventory was a bummer and the slow service was frustrating. I did like the poke nachos and my burger. The staff was cool and the food was decent. If you're in the area and looking for a new spot to try, this place might be worth checking out. Just be prepared for a slow service experience.

Yelp
Whatever great expectations you have in mind about this place as a result of it being an extension of The Capital Grille must brought down several notches to try to avoid the utter disappointment we experienced. Even then, the inattentive service and subpar food will still leave you scratching your head and wondering - is this what I waited all this time for? Came in with reservations and we were seated promptly. The restaurant looks new (because it is, just opened on April 30th) and the vibe is casual. All seemed promising and we were very much looking forward to trying their cocktails and burgers until... Our waitress appeared with some butter pickles (their version of bread and butter) and explained where everything was on the menu - which was unnecessary as it is a very concise menu and not very difficult to follow. Then ... she disappeared... we sat there without even so much as a glass of water for around 15 minutes. When she finally came back we put in our complete order as we feared we wouldn't be able to catch her again (and we were right, more on that later...) Our cocktails took another 15 minutes or so but they were visually appealing and tasted good. For appetizers we got the pretzel which was piping hot and had a very good presentation. We also got wings as an appetizer and the entire table agreed that sadly, the chicken wings were the best thing we ate all night. We hadn't even gotten halfway through our appetizers and our burgers were being thrown at us - I cannot even begin to explain how much this bothers me. Absolutely no understanding of how to pace a patrons meal or experience by- now we are scrambling to finish our appetizers to get to our burgers before they get cold. Now the $20 burgers. I have no problem paying for a quality burger, but this was far from what we were expecting. We each got a different burger off the menu and the consensus was the same - the meat was very bland, no flavor, no seasoning, and not even juicy. Almost as if they got a frozen beef patty threw it on the grill and then tossed it between some burger buns. For a restaurant with "Burger" in its name, this was one of the biggest culinary disappointments I've had in a while. I know and understand that this is a new restaurant and there will be kinks to work out but I've concluded that has nothing to do with an inattentive wait staff. We saw our waitress three times- a greeting, to take our order, and to toss us the check. We were never asked if our food was good, never bothered to ask if we wanted another round of drinks. I would be more understanding if the place was packed to the hilt but there were lots of open tables. I can excuse food that isn't great, but I cannot excuse waitstaff with a disregard for their customers. So, in a nutshell, if you want to go experience this spot because it's the new place in town go for it - just set your expectations bar low so you won't be disappointed.

Yelp
Was a last minute choice. It was amazing. Luis the chief came and spoke with us. Was a pleasure. I will be going back. The food was perfect. The staff was very on top of costumer service. Everyone had a great mind set and positive attitude

Yelp
We've enjoyed a few meals at Capital Grille, so when we saw that company was opening one of their Capital Burger restaurants in the former California Pizza Kitchen location on Miracle Mile in the Gables, we were excited to try it. Menu prices here are reasonable considering the brand. Cocktails were I believe $14 each and were well made and I think my Capital Burger and fries was something like $20. The Capital Burger, topped with caramelized onions and cheese was incredibly juicy and, to me, was akin to a burger topped with french onion soup as the layer of cheese was thick and was placed under the broiler to brown on top. We also shared an order of calamari to start, which was good, but the dish was a bit spicier than I'd have liked and unlike the calamari at many restaurants, it's not served with any dipping sauce here. Service was good from the bartender / server. The one criticism I'd make is that the ambiance on the evening we came here was off. First, the lighting was too bright. With the brick-lined walls and the bright lights it felt like we were seated in a Pizza Hut, rather than a higher-end restaurant. Also, it was strangely quiet. The music was playing at a very low level, and though there were a few tables full of patrons here, they were almost talking to each other in a whisper. Definitely didn't make for a lively or energetic atmosphere, that's for certain.

Yelp
Absolutely surpassed my burger restaurant expectations. Service was quick and then server was very attentive, retrieving unused plates immediately and ensuring we always had drinks. Food was outstanding- tuna poke nachos were definitely my favorite item we also Had the wings, a little too much sesame flavor for my pallet but still delish, had the calamari it was fresh and well seasoned no cocktail sauce but I did welcome the addition of the spicy peppers in it's palce -top tier. The beer was excellent (and cold) the espresso martinis were divine. My SIL had the Mai tai and she was very pleased. My daughter had a chocolate milkshake which was decadent. Very nice upbeat atmosphere good for families, happy hour or date night. Great music, quality of food was excellent. I did not have a burger but at my table they ordered a few.. the bacon cheeseburger, the mushroom truffle burger and the capital burger. We did take votes and they all went to the Capital burger. Kids cheeseburger was hand made patty, well seasoned. Fries were perfectly salted and crispy, I had the chicken sandwich with a side Caesar, salad was nothing special but not bad crisp lettuce and fresh Parmesan . The chicken was juicy and nicely seasoned with the added house pickles which were superb. They do give you a jar of house pickles in place of the traditional bread /butter you've grown to expect. Going back- soon. Next time I will take some pictures!

Yelp
I found my new burger spot! I know smash burgers are all the rage, but I love a thick, juicy patty! I was hesitant to try this place because of the negative reviews, but I'm so glad I gave it a chance! I'm sure there were some growing pains when they opened, but they really seem to have it down now! We ordered the Brussels sprouts, pretzel, & calamari. They were each amazing *chef's kiss* The service was impeccable and the manager was very present and involved. The cocktails were out of this world! I tried the grapefruit and thyme which was perfectly tart and refreshing on a hot Miami day! And as far as the burgers.....just try them! I can't wait to go back.

Yelp
There's lots of good burgers out there and it's hard to separate from the rest. Burgers were good and well executed. Nothing special.

Yelp
I didn't review the restaurant after my first visit because of one mistake made. I spoke to management and they asked me to give them a second chance. I did and I can say that they have one of the best burgers in Miami, set in a beautiful space and with great service. I continue to go back and I can say that they do A great job everytime.

Yelp
I've dined at Capital Burger five times (three lunches, one HH, and one dinner) and the majority of the time it's been a very pleasant experience. While the menu is somewhat limited, there's something for everyone, and it's always cooked perfectly. The mood is casual so I prefer it for lunch with friends/family vs. a night out. Another positive is the manager, who goes out of his way to greet you and be friendly. On the negative side, the HH menu is extremely limited. And strangely and awkwardly, I have dined at the bar twice and on both occasions have been totally ignored by the bartender despite the bar having only a few patrons. Net, go there for a tasty lunch and sit at a table.

Yelp
Went in for lunch, and was pleasantly surprised by the very attentive service we received from the bartender (we sat at the bar). He recommended the deviled eggs which were amazing, he gave us a jar of their home made pickles which were also really good. My wife had the clam chowder which was delicious and I had the signature burger which was incredibly good. Solid cocktails, great burger, fantastic service, and a pleasant quiet ambiance. What else can you ask for, I am now a fan and will definitely be back again.

Yelp
Best burger I've had! I bumped into this place by accident while visiting Miami and decided to try them the next day. I was pleasantly impressed with the customer service and not to mention the food quality and portions. I had the bacon cheese burger and it was amazing! Not to mention, they brought pickles out in a little jar for the table and even that was amazing. Jake our server was a charm! The manager also came over to say hello. I 110% recommend this place and will be back once I visit Miami again.

Yelp
I've had better..... The Capital Grille's attempt at a premium burger place isn't what I'd expected. I'm not saying one can't get a decently appetizing meal, but it's not really a burger place. The menu is a drawn down version of their namesake steakhouse, and it does have some tasty items on it. Service is as expected for a higher end Gables location, and they do cater to the hoity not-quite toity crowd. Decor is typical Capital Grille with the white tile wall and dark booths. A classic scheme... If you're looking for a burger, this is not exactly where you want to go. Everything else on the menu is fair game.

Yelp
Third time visiting Capital Burger and the food was good. Before getting into the food the service at Capital Burger is great. The employees are very attentive, kind and helpful. As to the food, the Pretzel appetizer is phenomenal and each burger we had tried has been delicious. They have a gluten free bun option for those like my wife with celiac disease. The only downside is generally the wait time for food. Otherwise, a solid choice on miracle mile.

Yelp
Another late review, but one of the best burgers I've ever had. Our server was very friendly and took our order as soon as possible. (Not gonna lie, the pickles they gave us before our drinks or apps were so good!) My father and I went and ordered the Poke Nachos and loved them. That was our appetizer for the night. The burgers we ordered did take a long time to make it out of the kitchen, but it was all worth it. I ordered the Bacon Cheeseburger, which came with a sweet, fruity, tasty tomato jam on the bottom bun. My father ordered The Capital Burger, which he said was amazing but I don't prefer Gruyère, or onions. I usually write longer reviews to point out more flaws, but this visit here, was spectacular. I will definitely be coming back again. Till next time! -Jacob Moore

Yelp
I'm not impressed. Not a good impression about the place. I was disappointed when the waiter commented that it was the same level of quality and service of the capital grille. An oversell and an underdelivered promise. Definitively not. Service lacked promptness, attentiveness, and was slow. The hamburger quality did not meet expectations. The taste, presentation, was poor. Given the amazing places around with solid burger offers, I will not return here. The price point is not on par with the value and service received.

Yelp
So me and my friends were really looking forward to this new spot for a while ( since it was in construction to be exact ). My friend decided to make reservations for a group of us to go. the spot did not live up to the hype, being a capital grille fan that I am, I had high standards for this place and maybe that was a mistake. The service was atrocious, the staff isn't properly trained, lackluster service with little to no customer service. Table was not ready on time of the reservation. The waitress was pretty low energy, didn't know much of the menu. She didn't come around to ask for a second round of drinks. She didn't explain the menu, she didn't upscale. Appetizers came out at same time as main course. I understand this place is new ( opened last Sunday ). But as a person who visits Restaurants often as a hobby this isn't an excuse to provide low tier service. Everything was like pulling teeth, from getting water to getting a straw to paying the bill. There are so many food options on the area let alone burger options as well, restaurants should capitalize on new clients and make sure they receive the best service possible, I can work with the food being so so, I can't work with the service being bad. The poke nachos were good and pretty fresh. ( good flavor, good amount ). Smoked gooda fries were ok, not great. The bacon cheeseburger was a bit dry and missing salt, it lacked taste.

Yelp
The wait... months eyeing this place to finally visit, and then this experience.. I made a reservation & my table was not ready, so i was invited to wait at the bar. Bartenders are not prepared to discuss cocktails, explain them or recommend them. Getting the bill from the bar for 1 drink took about 10 mins. I went to the hostess, she advised she had cancelled my reservation 'because i was not there'. (she had told me to go to the bar..) Luckily, she did me the favor of re-instating my reservation. At the table, the beers we selected were out of stock, our second choices took about 20 mins, we did not get water for a while, and we got our appetizers & main courses at the same time. I went with the Blue Cheese Truffle burger, i don't think there was any truffle. I make better truffle burgers at home to be honest.. my side was a kale salad, it really was delicious, cheesy fries were also pretty good. It was a group of 5 of us, and none of us were impressed with the burgers, they lacked flavor, nothing special. How could Capital Grill have such a big name & be renowned for quality and allow this subpar burger venture to happen? The wait staff is just not trained. They have no experience with the menu, making suggestions, checking on people, everything was a struggle, we were not asked if we wanted refills on drinks, didn't get straws, etc. Our waitress was really nice to us, but we could tell she struggled because she is not trained well. I don't think i would be willing to pay full price for Capital Burger, perhaps Happy Hour... But there are better Happy Hours in the area... so I don't think I would visit again.

Yelp
Went the first week they opened and they are still shaking out the kinks in service. Service was glacially slow. I ordered the bacon burger with truffle fries; an up charge. Delicious. The burger is really why you come here. The order took longer than normal and they were out of pickles. First week and out of pickles? hmm. The coffee was undrinkable and pithy. Ambiance is American diner chic.
