Flawless experience from beginning to end. We had our own private room and the service was prompt, friendly and respectful. My steak was a little undercooked but still delicious. All the sides and appetizers were great, and they have a good wine selection. The decor is a little older and could be updated but still a nice atmosphere

My husband and I decided to try the Wagyu and Wine experience at The Capital Grille. We sat in a booth in the lounge area and had Jessica as our server. It was a cozy and quiet spot, perfect for a date night. We started with the Caviar and a French Dip with caramelized onions, served with homemade potato chips, plus a glass of Orin Swift Palermo, Cabernet Sauvignon. The French dip was really tasty, though it might have been a little overpowering for the caviar's delicate flavor. The wine was bold but smooth. For our main dishes, we had the Wagyu Cheeseburger and the Wagyu Blue Cheese and Black Truffle Burger, both served with duck fat fries. The blue cheese and truffle burger was our favorite - the flavor was so unique and complemented the burger perfectly. We ordered the burgers medium, but they could have been a bit more juicy, even though they still tasted great. Overall, we had a really good time and enjoyed Jessica as our server.

The food was orgasmic steak melt in your mouth, and the lobster mac & cheese was very gooey and delicious and the seared spinach was fantastic. Everything was good. Our waiter was very attentive and noticed we were celebrating our birthday and brought over their house vodka that is soaked with pineapples and he brought over dessert, cheesecake and a chocolate mousse and it was so good. It was my first time here and I definitely plan on coming back again. Hopefully I have the same waiter because he was awesome. His name was Dante. If you decide to go, please ask to sit in Donté section.

I was looking for a restaurant to take my girlfriend for her birthday and came across this one. The website doesn’t say if reservations are mandatory but I booked one just to be safe and I wanted the occasion to go perfect. Valet parking is available but if you prefer to park your own vehicle the parking garage is around the corner from the restaurant. Once we arrived it took a few minutes to get seated due to our early arrival and our table getting set up with decorations. Our waitress was friendly and energetic she explained the menu, asked if there were any allergies and told us about the popular items on the menu. The food came out smelling/looking delicious, cooked how we liked and it tasted very enjoyable. The atmosphere was upscale and relaxed also there is a dress code.

Delicious food. Upscale with a dress code. Quite pricey but enjoyable for a very special occasion, like proposal or anniversary. Open bar, amazing desert choices, booths and tables, warm lighting, amazing view, clean bathrooms, free candy!

Flawless Sunday dinner — Buckhead Capital Grille delivered Date: Sunday, 10/12/2025 Party: 4 (myself, my girlfriend, my best friend, and his wife) From the moment we stepped in, we knew we were in great hands. We were greeted by Charise, a knowledgeable and genuinely welcoming hostess who set the tone for the entire evening. She was beyond exceptional—warm, attentive, and proactive about the little details that make a celebration feel special. Drinks & Start: We began with waters, an iced tea (with syrup), and three Noble Paloma cocktails—I enjoyed mine so much I ordered a second. For starters, the table split pan-fried calamari (crispy, tender, and not at all greasy). We also had a silky lobster bisque and a crisp field greens salad that balanced the richer plates nicely. Mains & Sides: Seared Citrus-Glazed Salmon (best friend): beautifully seared outside, flaky inside, the citrus glaze was bright without overpowering the fish. Dry Aged Bone-In NY Strip (friend’s wife): deep steakhouse char, perfect temperature, and that concentrated dry-aged flavor you expect from Capital Grille. Wagyu & Lobster (girlfriend): indulgent and memorable—luxurious marbling with sweet, perfectly cooked lobster. Snake River Farms Gold Wagyu (me): melt-in-your-mouth richness and a spot-on sear. Worth every bite. Shareable sides were classic and excellent: sautéed spinach (garlicky and vibrant) and Sam’s mashed potatoes (buttery, smooth, and exactly what you want alongside steak). Service & Celebration: Charise asked if we were celebrating anything, and we mentioned our belated September birthdays. Toward the end of the meal she surprised us with a celebratory treat—thoughtful, festive, and the perfect finishing touch. That gesture, along with consistently attentive pacing and check-ins, elevated a great meal into a standout experience. Bottom line: This was Capital Grille at its best—polished hospitality, expertly prepared food, and a room that still feels special. Well worth every penny. First of all, props to Zoe, our waiter. She was a rockstar. The manager was very courteous as well and checked on us twice. The food was amazing and my steak was one the best I’ve had. They were also very accommodating to my wife’s food allergies.

This place was absolutely beautiful. It looked like something right out of a movie. Deee, (yes with 3 E's) was our main server. Everyone there was so nice and the ambience was amazing. The food! Just look at our plates!

Celebrated a birthday dinner here at Capital Grille on a Saturday night. We were a few minutes late for our reservations but they still seated us promptly in a private room with a pretty nice view. I really appreciated our party being sat separately because it made it more intimate and also allowed our service to be more tailored. I genuinely wish I could have remembered the man's name who serviced us that night because he was very personable and kind. I am not a steak fan, at all, so I opted to get the crab cake with a personal size of the Brussel sprouts. The crab cake is small but mighty, rich in crab meat. The Brussel sprouts could have been a little bit more crispy for my liking but they were also pretty good. My 'wow' of the night was them bringing us complimentary champagne for a champagne toast at the end of the night. Great experience!

What an amazing experience. Came here on date night with the wife after having this place on our list for over a year. FYI, dress code is strictly enforced, it was a blazer night for me, and a sexy, elegant outfit from the wife. Our reservation was for 8:30 p.m. and that was a great time to get there. Valet parking is $10 and the restaurant is on the eighth floor with a nice view of the city as you're elevated to the restaurant. I checked in at the counter, and we were seated within 2 to 3 minutes. Our waiter. Mike was friendly, knowledgeable, funny and very attentive. Based on our experience with Michael alone we will definitely be back. My wife started with an espresso martini and I had the sweet water IPA beer as we browse the menu to indulge our pallets and some epicurean delights. Appetizer: Lobster and crab cake. Entrée : South African lobster fried. FYI, this lobster can be prepared fried, grilled or butter braised. I had the Double Cut Lamb Ribs (4). OH MY GOD, these are definitely by far the best lamb I have ever eaten. I had mine prepared, medium well light pink in the middle, completely tender, completely juicy and if I was not in a restaurant setting I'll probably suck the bones dry. Shareable: these food options come à la cart, so we decided to share some lobster mac & cheese and the soy glazed brussels sprouts minus the bacon (we don't eat bacon). Listen here, you cannot go wrong with an elegant date night option where the food is also a generous amount and taste absolutely delicious. When you take a bite and you immediately look at your spouse across the table and y'all give each other that iContact and your facial expression changes because you're endorphins have just kicked in because the food in your mouth is sending signals all over your body , you know y'all made the right choice for date night. A nice and quiet evening to celebrate our birthday dinner. The dinner table was decorated beautifully and our waiter spoke very eloquently regarding our meal and what's good on the menu. We ordered drinks, appetizers, main course, and a bottle of red wine (Prisoner) They also brought out desserts to end our evening. Thank you for an elegant evening of birthday celebrations.

Chairesse was our server and the service was exceptional the food and service was nice. Our reservations were for 8 pm and we were seated 20 mins early. Loved the warm lemon towels

Visited on a Saturday evening, primarily for the Generous Pours. Our server was Charisse (spellcheck). She was really nice and provided a lot of history and information regarding each of the wines we tried. There was one wine that she couldn't find but after searching for some time she was able to find one last bottle. She made good recommendations for wine and food pairings which I appreciated. The food was also very good. I ordered the steak with the mushroom crust. I was iffy about the balsamic, but our server highly recommended it and I'm so glad she did. It was a great accompaniment for the flavor of the steak. The sides were good as well and so was the calamari. As this is a steakhouse it is a little pricey, but the food and service is definitely worth it. The ambiance is nice for a date night, girls night out, birthday celebration or even a work event.

To add on to my original review, this location is not selective about your attire. It's come as you are, distressed denim and all. This adds to the appeal for me. When I want to dress up, I'm not out of place and when I want to dress down, I'm not out of place. Win/win. The managers Chris and Michael are Amazing! Servers Kenneth, Josh, and Asia are top tier. Cannot go wrong here!

I came here for my birthday dinner and had an amazing time. Kenneth was a very attentive server, and made my girlfriend and I feel very welcome. The food was delicious. We both ordered the filet mignon (medium well and well done). I ordered mine Oscar style with a lobster tail on the side. We shared the mashed potatoes. While it was delicious, it could have been seasoned a little more. Both of us enjoyed our meal, and we loved how juicy the steak was. We ordered the black tie margarita and passion fruit mojito to drink, and we enjoyed those as well. We were seated in a comfortable booth near the windows which gave us a nice view while we enjoyed our dinner. I will definitely return for another occasion because the food here is delicious.

Great service... Everything was fast and on point.. I was here to attend a bday dinner for party of 10 people.. Food was good, service was excellent, we didn't have any issues at all and super helpful.. I ordered the 10oz filet and it was really good.. Cooked just right with a lot of flavor. This place is really consistent every time I dined here..

I find it so rare to go anywhere now where the service and food are equally as good, but Capital Grille is a perfect example of such. The food is amazing. The service is even better. The ambiance here is classy and upscale. It was perfect for date night on Valentines Day. I will certainly be coming here again, and they even gave complimentary chocolate strawberries after dinner!! Loved it. Parking is convenient with valet out front. I'll be back!

Great service and great food sums it up. Went on a Saturday evening (had a reservation and was seated quickly). It was very busy but we were greeted by the waitress promptly and she was very attentive with a great personality. The drinks were really good. The food was fantastic. The crab and lobster cakes were delicious. Loved the seasoning on the filet mignon. The coconut cream pie was the best! So creamy and absolutely delightful!

Let me see where should I begin....First the food was A M A Z I N G as always. I am never disappointed. You will never go wrong with the Truffle Fries, Lobster Mac & Cheese or the Passion Fruit Mojito. I enjoyed the Salmon but one of my friends loved the Sea Bass, but we all agree the food was amazing. The ambiance was superb, we had such a wonderful evening. The only part that was disappointing was the service. Although the service was good, like no balls were dropped at all. The kindness and care our server Joshua provided could be improved. At one point my friends and I weren't even sure if he valued us a customers. Nevertheless, I will return because I love Capital Grille and the food and ambiance, but next time I will just ask for a different server.

I visited this place with friends on a Friday night to celebrate a bday. It's in Buckhead so parking is never free. You can valet for $10 or park in one of the nearby decks for $5-$10. The elevator to access the capital grille is behind the valet. It's located on the 8th floor. The restaurant closes at 10pm so the elevators don't go up after 10pm, only down. I will say the service and drinks were good but a few friends had complaints. The steak wasn't cooked to the proper temperature. She asked for well done and it was more of a medium well. Also, we expected the Cesar dressing to be homemade and it might have been but it was light and resembled more of a sweet vinaigrette taste. We ordered the mashed potatoes and spinach sides for the table. The mash potatoes were ok but the spinach needed a lot more seasoning or flavor. My sea bass was good especially with the sauce on the plate. The large steak was also delicious. My friend enjoyed the sauce which had a sweet taste to it. The calamari was ok. The server was able to split the check and share the apps which was nice. He also brought out some desert for the bday girl and champagne for the table to celebrate. This was a nice touch for sure. Overall, this place is very upscale and has a lovely view. We expected it to be pricey but some of the food items left much to be desired. We had an ok experience but I don't think we'll be back.

Delicious steaks and food. We celebrated our anniversary here and the service was superb. We were seated immediately and our server had wonderful recommendations. our meals were flavorful and cooked to perfection. While my husband had a ribeye steak, ai opted for the salmon and was not disappointed. This is one of the finer steakhouses in ATL.

Outstanding service, great food and wonderful ambiance! Held a milestone family member's birthday dinner there in a perfect private room. Everything from the arrangements through Sarah to the welcome and assistance by Penise, to the AV assistance by Andy to the absolutely phenomenal and professional food and drink service from Leo was nothing short of the best ever. They provided and anticipated every want and need. Food was delicious and they accommodated every request. Everything about this event was perfect due to the excellence of the staff at The Capital Grille. Thank you so much!!

Last night was my first time dining at this restaurant and I've been asking myself why has it taken this long to try the menu out. The service was impeccable, the oysters were fresh and delicious and came with all the condiments needed to enrich this delicacy. We received a basket of bread and the creamiest butter while we waited on our entrees. I've tried several crab cakes, but never a combination of both lobster and crab and this appetizer did not disappoint. It was moist and full of of meat and flavor. I would add the only thing I'd change would be the presentation of the crab cakes, they were falling a part before I could even put my fork into it. For dinner, we ordered the double cut lamb chops, Parmesan crusted tomahawk veal and the Porcinni Rubbed Bone in Rib Eye with sides of creamy mash potatoes and Brussels sprouts. Our waiter was amazing and offered superb service. The lamb chops were moist and tender and a great portion. The porcini rub with the combination or the aged balsamic vinaigrette offered a sweet and savory flavor. It is rare that I don't put salt or pepper on a dish and I had no need to add any additional seasoning on anything. We ended our meal with a classic cheese cake and crème brûlée and both were creamy, sweet, and flavorful. Over all we had a great experience and will dine here for more special occasions.

Amazing service and food. I didn't take photos because I was in a client meeting. They were able to accommodate a special request for the client with no issues even though it was a minor request. I know that's tricky sometimes with a menu like theirs that is carefully put together. It was very quiet so easy to get through the meeting. This one of the better locations that I've been to! Will definitely come back again next time I'm in Atlanta.

Great experience, the bartenders were great and the food was great as well. Cool atmosphere on the 8th floor and there was good conversation at the bar. I had the steak tartare and a bone in ribeye, both were delicious. I will be back.

The ambiance was nice. Where we sat was a nice view of the city. For an appetizer, we ordered Lobster and Crab Cakes... sooo good! For dinner, I ordered a bone in filet medium well. It was flavorful and didn't need any steak sauce. Not quite as tender as I thought it would be with a bone but not bad at all. I also ordered mashed potatoes and asparagus. My date ordered Salmon which came on a bed of rice and green beans. His was scrumptious! We also ordered drinks. I had a Black Tie Margarita and he, In Fashion. We were both satisfied but could have used a little more liquor in the Margarita and less juice. Overall, the meal was delicious.

My sea bass dish was great, cooked perfectly with a nice sauce on it. The lamb chops were charred on the outside but good temp on the inside. Steak was real burnt but almost undercooked (compared to their liking). Had a nice time there. I'd go back! Service was amazing and the vibes were nice as well!

No better restaurant in Atlanta. Great food and service. Never disappoints. Servers work so hard To please the customer. They deserve every tip they get!!

The Food was amazing I had Steak Tartar as my appetizer and I was so happy with it, I had the T-Bone Steak with the Creamy Spinach and the chef cooked the Steak to Perfection, my waiter explained everything on the menu and was very attentive to our needs and was very prompt to us with everything, the place was so beautiful and wasn't loud everyone spoke in a decent level that didn't bother anyone else but back to the table setup OMG simply AMAZING!!!!! I didn't take any pics because I was so in aww with everything but I do recommend this Resturant and the view of the city while you eat is a must see ask for a window view especially at night time!!!!

I came for a Wedding reception and I have been wanting to come here fo years. So excited. I had: crab cake appetizer - good but small portion. Roasted Chicken dish I know there were mushrooms and rice underneath but it was delicious. I mean delicious. Funny thing is I wanted to order the Salmon but my Cousin did and we decided to not order the same Thing to taste everything. I did not like the Salmon. It was lacking seasoning. She (my cousin) preferred the Chicken too. I tasted the lamb chops they were fatty. The salad was meh. The sides were shared by the table and we had... Mushrooms - good Mashed potatoes - good (especially with the sauce from the chicken) Spinach - dry and underseasoned. I mean can a Sista get some Salt and Garlic please Asparagus - was just that. nothing spectacular Dessert: I ordered the cheesecake it was good. The flourless espresso chocolate cake taste like a fudge bar so if you're into that... I tried to sneak some wine as the family doesn't drink but when I whispered to the waiter to SNEAK me a glass of Chardonnay he came back and loudly explained the different brands. Ummm Nevermind Sir but other than that the service was great. All Men tho which was noticeable. They did offer the Wedding Guest a glass of champagne that the Bride & Groom requested we have Ginger Ale instead. They brought them out in Champagne Flutes for a toast. The Private Party Room was nice and sophisticated. Would I come again? I mean ummm the chicken was good but I know whatever they are charging for it, it wasn't that good and the salad was so meh it's like "Really?!" I expected to be blown away and it was just Alright so idk but there's absolutely no rush.

Steak was pretty good, I ordered the medium ny strip. The lobster Mac and cheese was just okay in my opinion. It was extra cheesy so if your into that type of thing you may enjoy it lol! The asparagus was excellent. Drinks were good, will be back.

Always have a solid experience there. I remember the Stoli Dole's. The service staff is always friendly and I went there for the coconut cream pie. They put a little caramel sauce on the coconut cream pie. I'm not used to that so I'll ask them not to put it on next time steaks and seafood are top notch should definitely be on your list of places to go.

We had reservations and there was no additional wait when we arrived. Kris was our waiter and she was outstanding. She was very attentive and patient. She explained everything and didn't hover over us. The food and drinks lived up to expectations. My favorite isn't pictured, but it was the lobster and crab cakes.

Perfect restaurant for a date night or birthday dinner. My first impressions here were okay (but still 5 stars for me). The hosts were not the most welcoming and a bit standoffish. Once we got past that part and got seated everything was perfect. Scott was our server and very attentive. I ordered the calamari as an appetizer & probably one of the best calamari I've ever ordered! Very flavorful and a great portion.I ordered the chicken breast and my bf ordered the porcini rib eye and we got mashed potatoes and asparagus. I liked my dish but didn't really care for what was underneath the chicken breast and my bf loved his steak. The sides were great. Everything was delicious and came out in a timely manner. Will definitely be back.

Review for Capital Grill Restaurant: While the ambiance at Capital Grill offered a sophisticated touch and our server was exceptionally attentive, the food unfortunately missed the mark. The main courses lacked depth in flavor, and the sides felt uninspired and tasteless. However, the wine selection was a highlight, with a range that complimented the evening. I hope the culinary team can elevate their dishes to match the wonderful atmosphere and service in the future. If I could give zero stars I would!

I had an awesome dinner at The Capital Grill on Paces Ferry!!! The food was soooo delicious! Our server Kris was the best!!! She made my birthday dinner so special. I can't wait to come back!!!

Ambience was amazing. Service was top tier. Shoutout to Michael and Kris. They were both very attentive and knew the menu and wine list too well. This was a long planned date so I was craving the Seared Tenderloin with Butter Poached Lobster Tails. I will forever think of that meal. I will be back! I purchased a bottle of wine too that I don't remember the name of. It was a Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand. Thank you Capital Grill for the fantastic experience!

My husband and I celebrated Valentines and our anniversary here. The food was outstanding! We had steak and seafood! The bread/butter was amazing as well. The server attended to us all night and we never had to ask for anything. They gave us a complimentary dessert and a single rose to commemorate the occasion. This is the perfect place to go for a date night! We will be back!

The capital Grille is definitely an upscale, fine dining at its finest! Luxury service, filling meal, and boring cocktails. Hahaha! This is definitely that place you come on a occasion but also to just enjoy a luxury experience.

Came for my birthday the table was decorated Food was good our waiter was amazing and the entire restaurant was beautiful. I am vegetarian and though I would have wished there were more vegetarian options the veggie pasta that I got was very good per the waiter's recommendation.

9/28/2021 First visit. Upscale steak and seafood. Staff very proficient and pleasant. Had dirty Ketel One martini, French onion soup, lobster and crab cakes, bone-in kona crusted NY strip, filet mignon with seafood and sauce, soy glazed Brussels, flourless chocolate espresso cake and 20 year port. Everything was top notch and delightful, especially the French onion soup and the flourless cake was to-die-for.

It's been a year since I went but I just have to explain how my experience went since I've been seeing everyone else have amazing experiences. I went for my birthday last year 5/1/22. I made reservations in advance because I'd been wanting to go for awhile. My experience was awful from the time my date and I arrived! When we were getting ready to step on the elevator, one of the hosts proceeded to get my attention and say you're not abiding by our dress code. My attire was a pink crop top, and a pink skirt and I had a jacket on. I had just gotten my hair done and I wanted to show off my entire look and feel cute, comfortable and confident. It was my birthday outfit and it was appropriate and not out of the dress code! I felt a certain way. I felt sad. I felt singled out and kinda discriminated honestly but I didn't make a fuss because I didn't want to draw further attention, or be difficult. And since then I've seen so many women of different sizes in attire that doesn't abide by the dress code! Crop tops and more! And seeing that reminds me of my experience every time! I'm extremely tiny btw, and it wasn't classless or too sexy. She told me to either zip my jacket up or leave. She then called down to other hosts to let them know I was coming down and to make sure my jacket was zipped up. When we got off the elevator and walked inside of the restaurant the other hosts did make sure my jacket was zipped up. Again this made my experience less than pleasurable. Once we were seated we were brought out a various breads that were stale and not fresh. We felt rushed though out the evening and we were only there about an hr or so. I ordered the Bohemian as my cocktail, the sliced filet mignon, and the cheesecake. My meal was flavorful less and not good. I probably won't return or recommend based on my experience. It's unfortunate because I always hear such good things. That simply was not my experience. I'm only posting a pic of the drink as I only took videos of the food! I wish I could upload that as well!

First time coming there and had high expectations because of the prices. - Lamb was way over cooked - Lobster was NOT fresh and had a overcooked gummy texture - Au Gratin was great - Server didn't know the menu that well - Server was also never around and we had to ask someone to get them - Server also never refilled our waters and asked when we were leaving You're better off going to Ecco Buckhead.

First time here for lunch. Classy place traditional feel. Great service. Great lunch specials-- the salmon is soooo good! Nice views. The steak needed a bit more flavor.

I could've sworn I've done a review before but ok... BEST SERVICE EVER- greeted many times and the wait staff frequently ask what you need. I LOVE Capital Grille for the service as much for, or maybe more than the food! The lobster & crab cakes are small but divine! No filler here. My husband even noted they were better than one of our favorite crab cake places in MD. I ag Steak cooked to perfection, medium plus Truffles fries were crispy and well-seasoned Wasn't a fan of the creamed spinach but I'm not a fan of it The blackberry side car is lethal but delicious! It packs a bang so proceed with caution lol The creme brûlée cheesecake is phenomenal so save room for it.

It was majority of our group's first time at Capital Grille. This location was one of groom's options for his bachelor's weekend. It was the perfect spot for the occasion. Reservations were booked a month in advance. Upon entering, we were seated in a private room. Everything we ordered were delicious. Drinks were spot on. Our group thoroughly enjoyed their meal. Dorothea was our server; she was the best! Towards the end, Capital Grilled had surprised us with a bottle of champagne and dessert to celebrate our friend's big day. They absolutely went above and beyond - great experience overall.

The STEAKS ! They offer a few craft drinks that are delicious and the appetizers and sides are definitely scrumptious but the STEAKS are seasoned to perfection. From the first bite to the last every inch is perfectly seasoned. We enjoyed the lobster and crab cakes as an appetizer - yummy! The Porcini bone in rubbed ribeye was mouthwatering delicious! The lobster mac and cheese and asparagus were a perfect match.

It was extremely cold in this place. Not sure why but it was very memorable. However, the view was absolutely beautiful. You can look out and see the city from your seat and the overall decor was very classic. Paintings on the wall featured people like Martin Luther King Jr. and the founder of Coca Cola. I found that very interesting. I first ordered a martini which was very flavorful and strong. The bartender did a great job at creating a nice balance. We received an assortment of bread which all were pretty good. I ordered the wedge salad which was absolutely phenomenal. Surprisingly my fave of the night! The bacon chunks were large with a bold flavor. The wedge was fresh and the dressing was quite unique. I also ordered the Porcini-Rubbed Bone-In Ribeye with 15-Year Aged Balsamic. The steak came out a little cool but it was still very good. You can tell that it was indeed aged to produce a dynamic flavor. It was also cooked correctly as suggested, medium rare. The table shared sides, mashed potatoes and sautéed spinach. Mashed potatoes were just okay, lacked flavor in my opinion. Sautéed spinach had a tangy after taste as if it was expired or bad. The waiter James did an absolutely amazing job accompanying our table. It was also our friends birthday and he brought her a complimentary dessert that read Happy Birthday and a round of champagne for the table, which was greatly appreciated. The impeccable service is in no question. I do feel the establishment is a bit over priced for the quality of food presented but overall I had a great dining experience. I would definitely be open to returning.

My friend was in town and wanted to try Capital Grille. Capital Grille is always a favorite and never disappoints. Fortunately, we had another great experience this time around, as we usually do! I made reservations for 5 people. When we arrived a few members of our party had not arrived yet, so we had to wait a little bit, but not too long. We were seated in a private dining area, which was great. Austin, was our server. Ironically, this was our second time having Austin as a server. He is always great and I was happy to have him again. We started off with calamari and shrimp cocktail. Both appetizers were great! For cocktails, we ordered a variety of cocktails from the blackberry bourbon sidecar to the passion fruit mojito. All of the cocktails were delicious and refreshing. For entrees, we ordered the lamb chops, lobster tails, sea bass and the bone-in ribeye steak. We added creamed corn, lobster Mac and cheese and Brussels sprouts for sides. No one had any complaints about their food. To top it off, Austin brought out celebratory champagne. That was the perfect touch to end our meal. Overall, it was another great dining experience and I look forward to going back again soon. I'll make sure to request Austin again in the future.

First, I'll start off by saying that I rarely write reviews. I, myself, have served in restaurants for over 6 years. And being that I look very young, I often feel judged by my waiters/waitresses as I'm sure they worry I will waste their table. I say all this to say that I was so blown away by the extremely high caliber of service we received on June 16th at Capital Grille. It was my boyfriend and I's first visit to Capital Grille; we were celebrating my 23rd birthday. When we were taken back to our booth (with a beautiful view), I found the table sweetly decorated with some confetti and a nice note. Our server was Roderick (more on him later) and he presented us with a drink/wine menu to browse. But while we waited, he brought us two glasses of bubbles for us to sip on while we made our selection. Such an above & beyond touch and really made us feel special. I chose the Bohemian to drink and it was phenomenal. Strong but lightly sweet. Our drinks came out extremely quickly. For appetizers, we got the calamari which was very nice. Roderick walked us through the entire menu in detail before we decided on our entrees. My boyfriend had the NY Strip and I had the tenderloin & lobster, and we shared the parmesan truffle fries and sautéed spinach. I also ordered a glass of Il Bruciato Red Blend. (Side note: the wine menu is incredible here). The sides were very big portions, and we probably could've gotten away with just getting one between us two. The quality of the meat here is incredible and definitely well worth the price(s). Throughout our meal, several staff members ensured that we were happy and wished me a happy birthday. We truly felt taken care of the entire time. For dessert, Roderick brought us flourless chocolate cake and cheesecake with some berries. It was delectable. We had an amazing first experience with Capital Grille and we already can't wait to come back. Thank you all (especially Roderick) for making my birthday so enjoyable.

So dinner at @thecapitalgrille tonight. The appetizers were amazing. We ordered the garlic shrimp with crostini & prosciutto wrapped mozzarella with balsamic & the chef sent out salmon with capers & cheese & the salad was so delicious. Dinner was good. I was slightly disappointed with the lack of in your face flavor with the lobster mac & cheese but it was still good. The potato au gratin was good not much else. My steak flavor was melt in your mouth but slightly more rare than expected but the mushrooms & onion fig reduction was tasty. Asparagus was tasty. Celebrated my birthday here on August 4th and we had Kenneth as our server. The food was delicious, the service from Kenneth was exceptional and the ambiance was really nice. I ordered the chefs suggestions filet mignon and brussel sprouts and augratin potato, we did the wine flight tasting and he brought out some delicious vanilla bean cheesecake and chocolate cake for my birthday. Definitely 5 stars you will not be disappointed. From beginning to end the dinner was amazing.
