The Capital Grille on Boylston has become our go-to lunch spot in the Back Bay. We were in just the other day for lunch, and as always, had a lovely experience. Jeremy is always a pleasure to see, and the rest of the staff consistently brings top-tier hospitality. Their attention to detail and level of service never go unnoticed.
The pre-fixe lunch menu is one of the best deals in the area—high-quality food at a great value. Whether we’re out for a casual weekday lunch or entertaining friends, it always hits the mark.
The wine list is another standout, with a fantastic range of options that are both accessible and celebratory. You can enjoy something easygoing or go all-out for a special occasion. Just the other night, I stopped in for dinner with a friend I hadn’t seen in a while. The bar atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming. We shared a bottle of wine, a couple of perfectly cooked steaks, and a few classic sides. Everything was spot-on, and we left feeling well taken care of.
Christopher Scott, the managing partner, runs a tight ship. He and his team create an atmosphere that feels warm, thoughtful, and genuinely hospitable. Whether you’re celebrating a birthday, an anniversary, or just catching up with someone over a great meal, Capital Grille delivers.
While Boston has no shortage of steakhouses, this one consistently stands out. It’s the kind of place that makes you want to keep coming back.
