The Best Steakhouses in Boston - Eater Boston

"The Capital Grille, which has restaurants all over the country (including two others in the Boston area), is a reliable choice. All the usual suspects are here, from the filets and ribeyes to the creamed spinach, plus creme brulee and a decadent flourless chocolate espresso cake for dessert." - Erika Adams, Terrence Doyle

Yet another Dine Out Boston experience - this time for August 2025. The prix fixe menu has not changed since my last visit, in terms of price ($55) or substance. I went with 3 friends (party of 4) and had a reservation at 7pm on a Wednesday. The place was packed, but after checking at 7 sharp, I got seated in < 10 minutes. I ended up getting - Field Greens Salad - Bone-In Kona Crusted Dry Aged NY Strip (+$12) - Mashed Potatoes - Creamed Spinach - Creme Brulee The salad seemed fresh and well-dressed. The parm vinaigrette expressed itself as a savory saltiness, with more depth than simply salt. The NY strip, which I ordered medium rare, arrived with the textbook coloration. Notably, the sear's brown did not gradually transition into the warm red center, rather it stopped abruptly. This proved quite the testament to consistency, given that it matched multiple previous experiences. The creamed spinach and mashed potatoes, served family style for my party of 4, tasted quite satisfactory (read: more cream and butter and vegetable or potato). This time, I actually had enough room to consume my dessert. The flourless chocolate cake wasn't overly dense or powdery - a pitfall of these sorts. Nor was it too dense.

August 1st (lunch). I wanted to bring my wife to Boston as this was her first time here. I did some prior research and decided to try Capital Grille. We were politely greeted by one the hostesses and ( I forget her name) she led us to our table with genuine care. Our waiter that day was Andrew and he was delightful to deal with. Going thru the menu and giving us recommendations! As you can see by the pictures we tried a few things. I loved the New England Clam chowder and the Lobster Bisque. Our entrees were excellent as we got the Seared Salmon! Loved the dessert choices and Andrew was always attentive and made sure everything was up to our liking. We are from New Jersey and I believe we made quite an impression, in a good way! Highly recommend this amazing restaurant!!

The food and service were amazing. Nick did an amazing job and helped make a memorable birthday dinner! Josue made sure our table was always clean and water topped off. Thanks for a great night out!

We had dinner at The Capital Grille near Hynes Convention Center for a graduation. The place looks elegant and classy. Many people were also there to celebrate. The staff were friendly and professional. They served tasty bread and butter before the meal. We had the Jumbo Lump Crab Cocktail and Filet Mignon — both were delicious. The wine was also very good. It’s a great spot for special occasions with amazing food and service.

Google
The Capital Grille on Boylston has become our go-to lunch spot in the Back Bay. We were in just the other day for lunch, and as always, had a lovely experience. Jeremy is always a pleasure to see, and the rest of the staff consistently brings top-tier hospitality. Their attention to detail and level of service never go unnoticed. The pre-fixe lunch menu is one of the best deals in the area—high-quality food at a great value. Whether we’re out for a casual weekday lunch or entertaining friends, it always hits the mark. The wine list is another standout, with a fantastic range of options that are both accessible and celebratory. You can enjoy something easygoing or go all-out for a special occasion. Just the other night, I stopped in for dinner with a friend I hadn’t seen in a while. The bar atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming. We shared a bottle of wine, a couple of perfectly cooked steaks, and a few classic sides. Everything was spot-on, and we left feeling well taken care of. Christopher Scott, the managing partner, runs a tight ship. He and his team create an atmosphere that feels warm, thoughtful, and genuinely hospitable. Whether you’re celebrating a birthday, an anniversary, or just catching up with someone over a great meal, Capital Grille delivers. While Boston has no shortage of steakhouses, this one consistently stands out. It’s the kind of place that makes you want to keep coming back.

Google
The decoration and ambience is lovely. We had very comfortable booth seatings. However the food is mediocre given the price point. We were not impressed by any of these dishes. The tomahawk steak was ok, the scallops were overcooked. The highlight of the night was the cocktails. I enjoyed their signature drink a lot. One thing we felt annoyed is that they served our entrees when we were still working on the appetizers…so there were lots of plates on the table, made us hurry to finish the appetizers. I’ve been to lots of fine dining restaurants in Boston, none of the restaurants would done this.

Google
The Capital Grille is a top-notch steakhouse offering an exquisite dining experience. The steaks are perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor, complemented by an excellent selection of fine wines. The staff provides outstanding service, ensuring every guest feels welcome and well-attended. For those seeking a quieter and more refined atmosphere, seating outside the main dining area delivers just that. While the prices are on the higher side, the quality and overall experience make it worth every penny. Ideal for special occasions or an indulgent meal, The Capital Grille promises a memorable visit. Highly recommended!

I’m not sure where to start. The food and service was amazing! Mac and Kevin were so hospitable. I look forward to visiting the Capital Grille again when I’m in Boston. Thank you Mac and Kevin!

Yelp
This was our first time to this location, we frequent the location in Chicago. As anticipated, the food was delicious, service impeccable and the ambiance amazing. The served us a complementary crème Brûlée and sparkling wine to celebrate our wedding anniversary. This is an excellent steakhouse and we highly recommend it. Thank you for having us!

Yelp
Yet another Dine Out Boston experience - this time for August 2024. The prix fixe menu has not changed since March earlier this year, in terms of price ($55) or substance. I ended up getting - Wedge Salad w/Blue Cheese Dressing & Smoked Bacon - Bone-In Kona Crusted Dry Aged NY Strip (+$12) - Mashed Potatoes - Creamed Spinach - Creme Brulee The wedge salad arrived with large, lardon-sized smoked bacon and a "relatively mild" blue cheese dressing. Those wanting a pre-steak assault on the taste buds and a salad rendered unhealthy should look no further. I ordered by NY strip steak rare; Capital Grille make a textbook execution of it. The sear's brown did not gradually transition into the cool red center, rather it stopped abruptly. The mashed potatoes and creamed spinach also tasted quite hearty and satisfying, thanks to the power of butter and cream. The creme brulee was also a classic - fluffy egg custard, carmelized sugar, and some fruit for garnish. Even with the +$12 add-on for my entree, this represents extraordinary value.

Yelp
My boyfriend and I went to Capital Grille on a whim one day and we were pleasantly surprised! I am always skeptical of chain steak houses because I've found that quality can decrease, but this was delicious. We arrived around 7:30PM on a weekday and were seated basically immediately. The ambiance of the BackBay location is beautiful, nicely dimmed, and classy enough for a celebratory dinner or a work outing. The bread basket is nice that it comes with different types of bread and was a delicious appetizer. For food, we ordered the bone-in ribeye grilled medium rare and the seared scallops special. The steak was amazing. It was juicy, cooked beautifully, cut like butter, and seasoned with a flavorful crust. Each bite made me so happy! The scallops were also cooked very well but were a bit bland compared to the steak. The sauce was on the creamy side and veg was cooked nicely. The scallops dish had different textures that helped it to not feel heavy. I will say, your wallet should be prepared to go here. The prices line up with a classy steak house but isn't as expensive as other places. I would definitely go again!

Yelp
We stopped here after a show- our first visit- it was Boston Restaurant week. We got filet, steak salad, clam chowder, and filet. The chowder and salad was great- the real bacon chunks on the salad make it work! The filet was cooked perfect. The espresso martini was fine, Nothing special but good. Spouse enjoyed his old fashion.

Yelp
As steak snobs ( i.e. hard to please) our experience at CG was absolutely a 5.0. great service from Alexander 5.0, French Onion soup - terrific 5.0. To the main course..Wagu filet mignon- perfect temperature , melts in your mouth. I had a bone in Filet Mignon, med rare with sear... PERFECT, asked to have both cuts sliced. 5.0 . The only other 5.0 I was give was Club A & Keens in NYC. As a side perfect Au gratin potatoes - wow so good 5.0. Leaf Spinach , 4.9 could have been a bit softer, but it was still excellent. So some see Capital Grille as a chain so automatically say...nah... But this kills a Ruth's or Mortons . We had a good steak at Moo, but this was a whole point better Atmosphere is warm, quite, nice... Put it on your schedule . Oh. The cheesecake with Creme Brulee topping..wow. 5.0

Yelp
The Capital Grille is an incredible steakhouse chain that does not feel like a chain restaurant at all. The Boston location was the first Capital Grille I had ever been to and every time I have gone I am blown away by the food and the service. I went last night for an anniversary and had Khalid as my server. He was so kind and attentive and made us feel welcome. They give you a wine menu on an iPad which is nice because it shows you the wines listed by category, then price, and when you click on a wine it gives you a long description of the notes and other important details. We decided on the Marietta Arne cabernet sauvignon which Khalid told us was a great choice and how several other parties were drinking it (it was very good!). They serve an assortment of warm bread and butter to start and for an appetizer we started off with something lighter, the tuna tartare. The tuna tartare was delicious and was a layer of cucumber and avocado topped with the tartare and had drops of sriracha on the side and on the other side was some kind of sweeter mango sauce. The flavors were incredible and it was served with these nice little crackers/chips. For entrees, we split the lobster mac which is always perfection. I got the bone in rib-eye cooked to a perfect medium rare and my partner got the Kona crusted bone in NY strip. My ribeye was so tender it felt like I was eating a filet but it also had the beautiful fat marbling which was not chewy in the slightest. I was so full but eating it was so enjoyable I ate the entire 22 oz steak. Once we finished our meals, they brought out two mini desserts (flourless chocolate cake and my personal favorite, the cheesecake brûlée) with Happy Anniversary written on the plate. Khalid also offered us two glasses of bubbly which was certainly going above and beyond for us. Some other important details to include was the confetti and happy anniversary sign on the table, the excellent service from those who were not our server (ex: running over to pour our wine for us when we started to do it ourselves), and the manager Kev coming to greet us and thank us for celebrating a special occasion with Capital Grille. If you are looking for a steakhouse for a special occasion or just to treat yourself, Capital Grille, specifically the Boston location, is the perfect place. The atmosphere is luxurious and the food and service go above and beyond 99% of the restaurants out there. Dining here is always a wonderful and special experience that I believe is worth spending a bit more than you're used to for.

Yelp
Our favorite spot for dine out Boston, hands down. We always make a point to come here during restaurant week and this visit did not disappoint. The clam chowder was creamy, the filet mignon buttery, the creamed spinach and mashed potatoes perfect, and the cheesecake dessert complete with a Creme brûlée like finish. Our only complaint was that they never brought our second plate of shared creamed spinach for the four of us (we did get our second mashed potato serving).

Yelp
As one would expect, this upscale Darden concept is great all around. We were early for our reservation but greeted warmly and seated quickly. Drinks were prompt and tastes quite good. The meal was excellent. For the price I would hope so, but my 10oz Filet Mignon was well worth it. Sides were asparagus and au gratin potatoes. I'd definitely get the potatoes again, I might pass on the asparagus as it was a bit woody. Dessert portions were huge. We probably could have split one dessert between two of us. The whipped cream on top was a treat in and of itself. The atmosphere is upscale, while they don't seem to enforce a dress code, most of the guests were dressed nicely

Yelp
The food was nothing to rave about, and the steak unfortunately didn't taste that good. The meat quality was not optimal. I think this place gets so much business that it's more about quantity than quality. The shrimp was good though. Service was decent. Ambiance is similar to a standard steakhouse.

Yelp
Great food. Great staff. Been going for years. Still a favorite. Steak with Gorgonzola crust and their wine list are delicious. No complaints.

Yelp
We were looking for a special night to celebrate our son's graduation and we weren't disappointed. The restaurant was very busy as to expected on a Saturday night and most patrons were dressed for an evening out. Some people were in jeans and t-shirts but overall this was a place you will want to dress up for. We had a large party and felt completely attended to all evening. Our table had cute confetti and a card was signed for our grad by the staff. The shrimp cocktail was excellent as was the calamari. The porcini rib eye was a hit as was the sea bass and the tenderloins with lobster tails. The New York steak was huge! The filet was also on pint. Thumbs up on the sides such as the lobster macaroni and cheese, brussel sprouts, and the gratin potatoes. We had the coconut cream pie which was a huge dessert!! Loved the slightly salty crust to balance the sweet coconut cream. Our son was treated to a lovely dessert all his own. Again, impeccable service as one would expect from an establishment of this caliber.
google avatar

Max G.

Yelp
Khalid made me and my girlfriend have the best dinner ever. Get the porcini ribeye, the French onion, and ask for Khalid's section! It was such a wonderful dinner and night. I'll be coming back soon!
google avatar

Megan B.

Yelp
Wonderful food and great service. We had a party of 9 so it was a bigger group to accommodate but they did it flawlessly. Prosciutto wrapped mozzarella was a delicious app. The filet was cooked perfectly at medium rare, and it's always fun ordering family style sides which included the lobster mac, brussels, mashed potatoes and asparagus. Cheesecake to top of all off!!

James ..

Yelp
Food, service, and ambiance is all top-notch for Boston. This place's only downfall is the lack of enforcement of the dress code and people wearing baseball caps, shorts, and looking sloppy.
google avatar

David C.

Yelp
The crème brûlée is BOMB! And so are all the sides, and the tiramisu! NY Strip and the ribeye were also pretty good! Lovely ambiance and GREAT service. Service is surprisingly fast, as well, at least at lunchtime. I usually eat at the bar.

Taylor L.

Yelp
Meal was fantastic as always been multiple times and always been amazing so gotta leave a review the cosmos were delicious and service was excellent
google avatar

Dan D.

Yelp
Service was on point, and staff was great. The food for the price was nothing special. It wasn't "bad" but they way overcooked my steak. I asked for medium rare and it was medium well. I had the dry aged strip which just was mediocre. The sides were extremely expensive as well. The restaurant itself was nicely set up, clean, etc.
google avatar

Nichelle D.

Yelp
I arrived and was immediately seated. I made a reservation ahead of time, so it would seem that was working to my advantage. The restaurant was packed. The first thing I noticed was the wide range of patrons. Very young to old, small groups and large groups, anyone looking for some good food and a great night out should consider this place. I was there with my brother for a special occasion. We planned ahead and knew what we wanted to eat. You can see how wonderful the food is and our great looking drinks in the photos. The photos don't show the attention that was given to us by an amazing host named Karim. He made sure my food allergies were attended to and the service was top quality. Thank you for a wonderful night out in my amazing city of Boston.
google avatar

Yelp
Came to Boston for a conference and the capital grille was next to the hotel so we decided to try for late dinner. The service was as great as the meal! Our waiter was so nice he offered me a free clam chowder because I had never had Boston clam chowder before lol. It was delicious! My steak was cooked perfect (medium rare but more rare) and the lobster was soooooo tender and buttery, nom noms! I am not a fan of steakhouses but this experience was super enjoyable and the food was really good. Definitely check them out!
google avatar

Rebecca C.

Yelp
My lovely partner and I went here for our anniversary dinner this evening. From the hosts/hostesses to the incredible wait staff there is no better place to dine in Boston! They made us feel special by placing heart glitter on the table and a cute happy anniversary sign. Food was incredible, but the best part is the attentive staff. Walter and Jeff provided us with great conversation and made sure we had everything we needed. We could not have asked for a better time.

Isabela C.

Yelp
The Capital Grille @Vegas was perfect I just left my wallet and no one is picking up the phone. need it ASAP so I can fly home.. HELP !

Yelp
Great location. Lots of good eats and nightlife and Cap Grille is one of the best steak houses in that area. No place to park. It that downtown Boston for you. Atmosphere is what you would expect from a high end steak house. I ordered a filet with Kona crust. I'm usually a ribeye dude but I needed to leave room for the lobster Mac-n-cheese. The steak was perfectly cooked. Shallot with butter sauce was surprisingly amazing and Mac-n-cheese is always on point. Ya mean. Would I go back? I go there once a month. No cap.

Yelp
Beautiful venue in Copley area in Boston Service is attentive and food is impecable We have a group dinner with shared appetizers my favorite was the lobster & crab cakes, sea bass as entree with vegetables... shared deserts a velvety chocolate cake, crème brûlée and pie Cocktails were made to order, consistently well prepared

Steve I.

Yelp
Top notch food and wait staff service. The restaurant itself is first class, comfortable and nicely decorated. From the assorted breads to the steak and sides this is a top 5 steakhouse nationally.
google avatar

Huifeng Y.

Yelp
Starting from the pre-dinner bread, it was delicious. It was hot and crunchy. The appetizer was the seafood platter, lobster oysters. It was a show-stopper. The signature bone-in strip was a huge piece. I chose medium rare, and I have to say it was pan-fried. It must be really good, the edges of such a large steak are caramelized and the inside is cooked just right *Creme Brulee Custard The brulee has a creamy texture and the grainy texture of unmelted sugar, which is quite delicious. And the Cheesecake is super rich and not too sweet
google avatar

Caroline H.

Yelp
Fantastic waitstaff and service at this steakhouse. Our waiter was very personable, witty, and knowledgeable about the types of steaks. My friend got the rib eye. I am watching my cholesterol so I got the Sea Bass. The asparagus were OK. I like the larger ones. The tuna tartar was amazing too! The sea bass was cool to perfection too. I will return this Spring.
google avatar

Sovana P.

Yelp
Honestly I didn't think food was all that great. Over hyped and over priced. My drinks were watery. We 45 minutes for our Valet. I was very disappointed. It was a nice place but I will not go back.

Joyce C.

Yelp
Food and services are both excellent for us from China except for the lights in the dining hall a bit too dim for us.
google avatar

Yelp
We had a great experience at The Capital Grille in Back Bay. The service was very professional and attentive. The menu had a great selection - we really enjoyed the steaks and truffle fries. I definitely recommend this restaurant and would love to go again.

Yelp
I am a longtime and frequent customer of the Capital Grille and I am generally very satisfied but today I brought two guests with me and I have to say a couple things were just off. We ordered 2 filet mignons and 1 New York sirloin but, before we ordered, we asked if they had A1 steak sauce and the waiter said yes. All 3 of us really like A1. Anyways when the food arrived, the waiter gave us two small cups and told us one was A1 and the other was a house version but the problem was neither one was A1 so, even though we asked before we ordered, we were unable to get any A1. This was disappointing as we probably would have ordered something else if we knew we wouldn't be able to get A1. Also, I have ordered the au gratin potatoes many times over the years and I love them, however. It seems as though they changed the recipe and today's au gratin potatoes were simply not very good. In the past, they were always cheesy and high quality. Today, there was little cheese and it seemed like they were coated in a floured milk. I'm not exactly sure how they changed but they were no longer high quality and nothing like I've been getting in the past. Again, this was a big disappointment. So, it just seemed that we couldn't get what we believed we were ordering, and it seemed as thought both these issues could have been easily better handled if the waiter had just better communicated with us. Having had so many high quality past experiences, it was just very hard to pay for such an expensive bill today while not receiving what we thought we were ordering!
google avatar

Rob S.

Yelp
Service was great. Friendly attentive and helpful. Atmosphere was decent, perhaps a little louder than expected but overall nice. French onion soup was fine. Nothing too exciting, perhaps could have been under the broiler a bit longer to get a better crust in the cheese. Had the 10oz filet with gratin potato. Cooked perfectly, generous piece of meat that was tender. No real seasoning though which seemed odd. Not sure there was any to be honest. Potato's were excellent. Tasty and generous portion. For the price I would have expected steaks to be better seasoned or perhaps come with a sauce. Sear was nice though.

Pear B.

Yelp
Because I'm ranking the three steakhouses we tried this year, while this restaurant is solid with beautiful space and awesome bread basket ... the other stuff is too buttery and often salty and thus the three stars. I would add a half star if I could.
google avatar

Jan F.

Yelp
Steak was excellent, but also expectable from the price. The salad and the desert on the other hand were outstanding and really stood out. Ambience was also excellent, and the service was also very professional. The only possible complaint I could make is that the wine list was overpriced. Overall an excellent and enjoyable experience.
google avatar

Connie L.

Yelp
Originally had high hopes but The Capital Grille was not too great. On a positive note, their appetizers were fantastic. The Prosciutto-Wrapped Mozzarella was easily my favorite dish of the night since the tomato cut the saltiness of the prosciutto and every bite melted in your mouth. Downsides: Considering how they specialize in steaks, we ordered a medium-rare Filet Mignon expecting the meat to be cooked properly. The one we received was way too rare. Fortunately, our waiter was really nice and even gave us cheesecakes on the house. Food wasn't the best but our server was very considerate and nice.
google avatar

Sharon L.

Yelp
Tried capital grille for dine out Boston. I got the clam chowder + filet mignon + flourless chocolate espresso cake and spinach and mashed potatoes for the table. The clam chowder was decent but nothing special. The filet mignon was dry and did not look very appetizing. I did not enjoy my very dense dessert at all. Maybe it's that whole you get what you get for the price you pay but this meal did not feel like it was worth $46. When I was ordering and asked for the cake, I followed up with a question to the waiter if the dessert I selected was like a tiramisu he simply said "no" and just quickly moved on without giving me a chance to change it or even explaining what it was like. Additionally when my friends asked for boxes the server let out a huge annoyed sigh. The food was very very subpar, the service wasn't great and the price was not worth it.

Andrew K.

Yelp
Wow. What an experience ;) The moment we set foot beneath the lion-clad ceiling, the atmosphere of welcome and cheer encapsulated our hearts and appetites! We indulged in a lovely dinner with our server Jeff who listed the wines with the enthusiasm I would expect only from the portraits of presidents past in the other room. The lamb not only melted in my mouth but will continue to melt my heartstrings alongside the crisp table linens. The large display of world clocks satiated my nagging curiosity of the time of day in Tokyo!! The only disappointment of the night was that the dessert menu arrived only after I devoured my perfect portion. The waiter was even kind enough to take our photo!!

Yelp
The Capital Grille is one of the best places to get a good steak in Boston. Always cooked and seasoned to perfection no matter which one you choose from the menu. I have dinned at several of their locations so many times that I can honestly say that I have tried most of the dishes and they never disappoint. The Capital Grill has been the place we celebrate Christmas Eve and my Birthday for the last 15 plus years so when I say it is good it really is good. My favorites items on the menu: French onion soup is very good here with great flavor and they use the perfect amount of cheese and the correct cheese. Many places try try to get creative with crazy spices and often ruin the classic French Onion Soup but not here! I love the Field Green Salad because of the mixture of the soft butter lettuce, Heirloom tomatoes and the Parmesan Vinaigrette Dressing. They are amazing together and I love how light it is before a heavy steak dinner. If I am going to the Capital Grill then I am getting a steak. I have had several of the steaks. I always went for the Filet Mignon and the Rib Eye. I was a creature of habit. Then I tried the Kona-Crusted Dry Aged NY Strip and it was delicious. This night as you see in my pictures I decided to have the Sliced Filet Mignon with Cipollini Onions, Wild Mushrooms and Fig Essence which I have had before and I really liked it. It was cooked perfectly. For years I listened to my husband talk about his favorite steak the Porcini Rubbed Bone-In Ribeye with 15-Year Aged Balsamic while I eat my Filet. Then two years ago I tried it, It is the best in my opinion. A must try if you are looking for a good steak with lots of flavor. The side dishes are always very good. We like the lobster Mac and cheese but we love the Au Gratin Potatoes! Do not pass on dessert! There are several worth trying and in fact they have two I love so much that I always take my second favorite home for the next day. I must note that they make the perfect Crème Brûlée. A good Crème Brûlée uses real bean so I always look for the black bean dots. A good Crème Brûlée does come served with the custard warm all the way through. Some places are lazy do not use a torch to melt the sugar. They put it in the oven and it heats the custard so it comes out too warm and it feels like they just baked the entire thing. The Capital makes one of the best. My first favorite dessert is the Coconut Cream Pie! It is light and refreshing after that steak. Moist chewy crust and topped with a light coconut cream with a cookie, a must try! My second favorite and the one I always bring home is the cheesecake! It is the best cheesecake but often I am too full to really enjoy it because it is heavy after that steak so I always take one home. This review could be for the Burlington location as well since we dine there more. This night we happened to dine in Boston before a show. Our server was wonderful. The food as usual was amazing and it was not our usual location but everything was the same as our normal stomping ground in Burlington.

Yelp
My first time here for my boyfriends birthday and I'm absolutely in love with this place! The service was top tier (shoutout Jeff) and the food was amazing. I got the lamb and I'm still thinking about it almost a week later! Thank you.

Dave H.

Yelp
Their baked potato must have been laying around for three days. Hard as a rock and dried out. The prices in this place are not worth it.
google avatar

Pamela s.

Yelp
Food is superb. Service excellent. The dining area formal and beautiful. The food is a little pricey. Some things you can share instead of buying the same plate. My husband and I both ordered the lamb which was delicious! But we could have purchased one to share for the plate comes with four pieces of lamb. Although pricey it's worth it. You get what you pay for. A delicious meal. Excellent service and just plain good vibes
google avatar

Angela E.

Yelp
You will always have very good, professional service at capital grill. Food will also be consistently delicious. So when you just want a tried and true upscale dining experience pop in. I had the lunch special with which came with a Caesar salad and I chose the salmon. Ate every bite of each, and they were both really good. If you sit in the bar, while it is not a patio, feels like a patio because their windows are open and there's a screen to keep out the bugs. Nice.

Yelp
The Capital grille is always a fantastic big dining experience. The one that we had in Los Angeles closed to our extreme disappointment. This location is massive compared to the old one in LA. Atmospheric service were great. Their menu is very strong, but we really miss the chocolate hazelnut cake they used offer.

Yelp
What a wonderful experience. I took my crunchy girl here on Friday. She absolutely loves meat. I ordered the Kansas City strip and she ordered the filet mignon. Both steaks were a beautiful medium rare as requested. Before our table was ready we sat at the bar and shared a sangria and passion fruit mojito. The sangria was delicious, although without fresh fruit. The steak tartare was tasty and fun to share with two. Most importantly, she enjoyed the meal and we went home happy and full. What an exquisite night. I am extremely satisfied with my experience here and will be back when I make more money. Love, Koh

Yelp
Our hostess, Venessa S is the best ever. She is very friendly and more than approachable. Highly recommend her fully! Thank you Vanessa. As for the food, it seems you can't go wrong with anything in the dinner menu. See the uploaded pics for what we got.

Yelp
Cocktail iPad was a bit impersonal. The restaurants acoustics do not lend themselves to table conversation. Service was good and food had good presentation and flavor.

Yelp
Amazing service, great for anniversaries!! Nothing but good things to say about this place. If you're looking for a place to celebrate a birthday or anniversary, I would recommend Capital grille! The steak is so tender and cooked perfectly. The creme brulee has so much vanilla flavor and presented with a bunch of fruit.

Yelp
I am upset that I don't have any more pictures of this place, but the pictures don't do it justice. One of the best steaks and desserts I have ever eaten, while having great service at the same time! Full Order: Appetizer: Pan-Fried Calamari Entree: Bone-In Kona Crusted Dry Aged NY Strip, Procini-Rubbed Bone-In Ribeye (both from Chef's suggestions) Sides: Lobster Mac N Cheese, Sautéed Spinach, Grilled Asparagus, Mashed Potatoes. Dessert: Flourless Chocolate Espresso Cake, Coconut Creme Pie, Creme Brûlée

Yelp
Capital Grille is a modern steakhouse with an extensive steak and even more extensive wine list. At first glance, I was a bit intimidated but once you're inside, the staff makes you feel like you're at home. I got the lunch special ribeye steak. Ribeye steak: ordered it medium and it came out perfect. The steak was definitely coated in butter and it was one of the softest non-wagyu steak I've ever had. It also came with crunchy parmesan cheese fries. Overall: an upscale spot to take your friends and family for a nice steak lunch/dinner. Although their lunch special was only $35 for a ribeye, so I felt like it was definitely worth it.
