I came here for Mother’s Day and had such an amazing experience with their Mother’s Day brunch special. They also allow you to order from the regular menu as well. However, our waitress was awesome, nice, and knew her stuff and the food looked beautiful and tasted great and once your in the garage and the valet takes your car, you wait right there for the elevator which takes you walking out of there right into the restaurant. I couldn’t have experienced anything better.

Food was phenomenal. Thanks to the chef's and kitchen staff for making the food experience great. Service was clean but a little cold from a service perspective. No issues at all but just not a "happy happy " type feeling. Felt corporate with the bill for 2 that hit $260, including tip. Valet in the lower level parking garage was seamless and professional.

Still Thinking About It... Absolutely amazing dining experience at The Capital Grille! From the moment we walked in, the service was top-notch—huge thanks to our outstanding waiter (Jesus M.) who truly went above and beyond. The food? Exceptional. Every bite was memorable, and we’re still talking about it a day later. Thank you to Jesus M. and the entire staff for making our night so special. Can’t wait to come back!

Went for a special event with about 50 people in a private dining room. The food and service were excellent. We had the calamari, filet mignon prepared perfectly with creamed spinach and mashed potatoes, topped off with crème brûlée for dessert.

I loved everything about my experience at The Capital Grille—the food, the ambiance, and the service (for the most part). However, the hostess who sat us (didn’t get her name) was passive-aggressive, which was disappointing. Thankfully, our server more than made up for it. He was attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to make our experience great. He even took pictures for us, which was a nice touch! Overall, a great spot with excellent food and service, but the first impression from the door to our seat could have been better.

Friends brought me here to try the experience. Our server Leo was the absolute best. So friendly, patient and so well versed. Will bring my family over to try it too! Worth every single penny.

We live down the block, always love it here! One of our favorites for everything! They had a really great wine and slider pairing a while ago that was amazing. Also came to the bar to celebrate my engagement and they were so sweet to bring out champagne and free dessert!

As always incredible food, drinks. Ate at the bar. Jen beautiful lady, attentive but not very engaging, her counterpart not much better..no your welcomes, thank you..looks like they need a change of scenery. Not a great look. Very cold. I was one of 4 people at the bar. Seemed regulars were treated nice, a newby like me not so much.

This Capital Grille is in Brickell! To park, you would go in the garage and I believe valet is the only option in here with the easiest entrance. The valet has an elevator that leads right to the lobby/hostess stand of the restaurant. We were a bit early for our dinner reservation so we decided to walk around the area outside. When it was time, we were seated promptly. When I made the reservation, I let them know we were celebrating something & we were greeted with little confetti on the table and a nice greeting card. I didn't know we could be specific of what we were celebrating on the reservation but our server let me know we could so they could help us celebrate accordingly. The dinner was great! Our server was super attentive and helpful. When we were looking over the menu, we almost got carried away but he helped us slim down our order with half sizes of some of the shareable plates. So grateful he did that because we almost ordered a feast and, even with the half orders, we took a lot home! If there's ever anything I can recommend getting here, it would be the Kona-crusted dry aged bone-in NY Strip steak. It is sooooo good and a reason we will come back time and again. Although this place is a fine dining pricey spot, it recommend coming here for special occasions. They really know how to make you feel loved, even with the small things such as a greeting. They even surprised us with a complimentary dessert with the word, "congrats" on it in celebration. Overall, a five-star experience at this Capital Grille.

This is my third time here but first time in a couple years. I think The Capital Grille is slept on, maybe because it's a chain, but the food and service here is always top tier! Don't let looks deceive you, TCG is tucked away by the Brickell Ave bridge and looks like it might be empty but as soon as you walk in you realize they are busy! Make sure to make an appointment and keep a lookout on specials. They typically participate in Miami Spice and have a great Generous Pour special if you're a wine lover! The ambiance takes me back to living in DC, where many restaurants have a similar vibe! They also have a private room of you need a space for a business meal or event! Highly recommended!

Six years later and Capital Grille is STILL 5 stars! I met up with a few foodie friends last weekend originally intending to take part in their Generous Pour wine tasting. However, we just ended up enjoying one bottle and trying the delicious plethora of classic steakhouse side dishes. First of all, make sure to enjoy their brown bread with the slightly sweet table butter. Our waiter was pretty attentive in keeping the bread basket and even extra butter refilled. He was also great on recommendations. As far as side dishes, my favorite were the prosciutto-wrapped mozzarella with tomatoes in a rich and sweet balsamic vinegar. All were a grand introduction to my main course, their sliced filet mignon with fig essence. Served in a bed of fresh greens with cippolinni onions (the little ones) and mushrooms, this juicy and tender cut of steak (even though it was a little on the medium side) was the reason you meet with friends at a classic steakhouse for! I enjoyed it with a smattering of their aromatic truffle fries, along with my wine. Dessert was a creme brulee with a lightly crispy crust just like i love! Make sure to save space for that.

Great experience again at this staple establishment in Brickell with a business yet classy ambiance that is suitable for dates, meetings, or family night out. Great selection of food options from appetizers to main dishes to desserts. Currently have a wine tasting that can't be beat for the price with whites and reds from California. Hostess was courteous and rapid to attend us upon checking in for our reservation and the waiter was no different with great service.

Fancy establishment that was worth the treat of eating at this fine dining restaurant! The ambiance is quite elegant making you feel like you just stepped back into the early 20th century. There is a dress code which I do highly appreciate as it helps remind everyone this is a prestigious, refined establishment (many places in Miami have lost this touch unfortunately). The steak itself was phenomenal and is arguably one of the best you can get in Miami. Fairly pricey unfortunately but at least the taste and atmosphere support their prices.

Decided to visit during Miami Spice. Service was good, food was great, and the ambiance was nice. Our waiter Marcos was attentive, informative, and friendly. I had the salmon and the table had mashed potatoes and cream spinach.

I visited this establishment on September 7th with coworkers. Parking is $15. The restaurant is very elegant and our table was ready when we arrived. We all ordered from the Miami Spice menu. The servers were very friendly, attentive and welcoming. I enjoyed my cocktail, it was well mixed and very smooth. I had the wedge salad as an appetizer, sea bass as my entree, and cheesecake for dessert. Everything was delicious. One of my coworkers had the sliced filet mignon and she said it was delicious and made just right.

Miami Spice has to be my favorite thing ever! Especially the Miami Spice menu here at Capital Grille was super tasty and filling. So let me tell you what to get, cause there are a couple of misses. I would recommend either two of the salads are tasty but if you like heavier dressing then definitely the wedge. The filet mignon is great with the sides of potatoes and creamed spinach, you can't go wrong with this especially if you like steak. For dessert i truly recommend the cheesecake over the chocolate cake (it was bitter and tasted freezer cold). I love the ambiance of capital grille cause it's low light and romantic perfect for an anniversary dinner or just a special date night, the staff is also really attentive and thorough in explaining the miami spice menu to us. I'd definitely come back on a date night or for a nice dinner with family.

Good but not great for the price. The quality of the food has declined over time and they no longer do complimentary valet.

Our very good friends (they are more like family) were celebrating their 34 year wedding anniversary and asked us to join them. We started the evening by requesting the shrimp cocktail and the crab meat appetizer as we thought they would accompany the first three wines (Rose, Sauvignon Blanc, & Chardonnay) in the generous pour presentation that we are having this evening. We then ordered our entrées, we had three fillets at the table and one order of lamb shops medium rare plus. We also ordered three sides the truffle french fries, the sautéed spinach and the mushrooms. David our waiter was very good. The place was full of patrons enjoying great food at a wonderful restaurant. We are looking forward to returning in the near future

Classic steakhouse on the edge of Brickell. Great service, bread and butter is included at no charge with the meal. Medium rare dry ahead steak in pretty good condition and fair price(for Miami). The steak tartare portion is pretty large. Good wine selection too.

This visit was far below the standard we have come to expect from Capital Grille and left us feeling ignored and undervalued as guests. From the beginning, the service from our server, Jennifer, was unacceptable. She did not go over the menu with us or provide a drink menu until we specifically asked for it. When we inquired about lunch specials, it felt as though we were inconveniencing her. What made this even worse was observing her promptly providing the drink menu and lunch specials to three other tables seated after us. This disparity in service was extremely disappointing. We waited over an hour for our food. My husband ordered a medium-well steak, but when it finally arrived, it was medium-rare--completely the opposite of what he requested. When we brought this to Jennifer's attention, instead of apologizing or asking if we would like the steak remade, she immediately said, "We'll just remove it from the bill." This response was dismissive and gave us the impression that our presence was an inconvenience to her. We were not looking for the steak to be removed from the bill; in fact, my husband wanted the steak he ordered. As a server, she should have apologized and asked if we would like the steak remade or if there was something else we'd prefer. Instead, her immediate response made us feel brushed off. My husband was so frustrated by this interaction that he decided it was time to leave. He left without eating, still hungry and completely dissatisfied with the experience. Jennifer never once checked on us during the meal but made sure to engage with and check on the guests at nearby tables. Her lack of professionalism and care was glaring, and this, paired with the poorly handled food issue, made the entire experience unacceptable. As locals in the neighborhood, we have dined at Capital Grille locations in other cities and always enjoyed exceptional service, but this visit left us deeply disappointed. I hope you will address these issues with your team to ensure no other guests have to endure such poor treatment.

Made a reservation to visit 1 before I was in town for a 7PM reservation! On are we were quickly seated! Our server was friendly and knowledgeable when he greeted us! During our dinner we realized that we stopped by at the perfect time to experience the best of both worlds; The Generous Pour & Miami Spice Restaurant Menu! The Generous Pour is Capital Grille's annual wine event that gives you the chance to try 7 world-class wines with the purchase of a dinner entree! The Miami Spice Restaurant Menu lets you experience 3-course meals at top eateries for just $30/$35 for lunch/brunch and $45/$60 for dinner and it runs until September 30, 2023! The bread and butter was amazing! The 7 wines were delicious, we loved the Pinot Nior and the white wines! For appetizers we tried the blue cheese and smoked bacon wedge & claw chowder, amazing! We both tried the tomahawk veal chop, mashed potatoes, and creamed spinach, delicious! It was the perfect date night out! We will definitely be back on our next visit!

Wow wow, what a cute place in Miami. Beautiful decor and good food for a quality steak house. Service might be more professional and elegant.:) But all in all i will come back. It's a nice experience.

We recently had one of the most spectacular dining experiences we've ever had at Capital Grille. Wow! Everything, from the classic steakhouse dishes to the service, & overall attention to detail rivals what we've experienced at Michelin Star restaurants. There is a reason why Capital Grille is such a stalwart when it comes to fine dining: you know what you're getting every time! We were celebrating a very special occasion & decided to do so by ordering from their Miami Spice menu ($60/person), as well as participating in their renowned Generous Pour wine tasting ($35/person). For those who are unfamiliar with it, Capital Grille's Generous Pour is their annual summer wine tasting event where 6 different wines (different variations of red, white, and rosé) from a selected wine maker are featured/paired throughout your meal. Your server guides you through the tasting notes and what pairs best with what. After going through all 6 wines, you can continue pours of the one you enjoyed best! We had zero wait with getting seated for our 7:30 PM Saturday evening reservation & were greeted to a congratulatory card at our table for celebrating the important milestone in our life we were celebrating. We immediately were brought our 6 glasses of wine, 3 each of which were filled with the white wines & rosé of the tasting: J Vineyards Pinot Gris, J Vineyards Chardonnay, & Department 66 "Fragile" Rosé. My fiancée's favorite wine of the evening was the J Vineyards Chardonnay. She found it to be very approachable, light bodied, & not acidic in taste. I enjoyed them but preferred the reds (will get to them later on in the review). The dinner started out as normal with Capital Grille's complementary bread basket, which contains Flatbread Crackers, Pumpernickel Raisin, Sourdough & Onion Bread (our favorite)! Since we were participating in the Generous Pour, we forwent cocktails and began ordering our meals. Here is what we had: - Appetizers: New England Clam Chowder & Wedge Salad with Bleu Cheese and Smoked Bacon - Entrées: 10oz Filet Mignon & Tomahawk Veal Chop (+$10 supplement) - Dessert: The Capital Grille Cheesecake & Flourless Chocolate Espresso Cake First things first, this is a restaurant that seems to keep all of their portions the same. What you get for Miami Spice is what you get for the main menu. That is to say, everything was very filling! We came with an appetite, so we absolutely devoured the New England Clam Chowder & the Wedge Salad. The Wedge Salad was packed with bacon, & the Clam Chowder was very creamy, delicious, & also loaded with plenty of clams & potatoes. Capital Grille never disappoints with their soups or salads. Our entrées came, and so did our red wine pairings. My fiancée had a medium-well 10oz Filet Mignon, while I had the Tomahawk Veal Chop for an extra $10. The red wines we received were the 8 Years in the Desert Red Wine, the Abstract Red Wine, & the Palermo Cabernet Sauvignon. I loved all these wines but personally enjoyed the Palermo the most. I love full-bodied wines with a strong berry smell on the nose as well as a strong finish. My fiancée's Filet Mignon & my Tomahawk Veal Chop were both perfectly cooked. Both were so tender & melted in our mouths. I haven't had the Veal Chop at Capital Grille before this, but can safely say that theirs rivals any Veal Chop I've had at nearby high-end Italian restaurants. It is a great alternative to your usual steak that I'm glad I ordered. Our entrées each came with a side, so we went for the Creamed Spinach & Sam's Mashed Potatoes. We nibbled on our sides but packed most of them to take home as we were pretty full from our entrées. Of course, we had to have dessert. I had the The Capital Grille Cheesecake, served with fresh berries while my fiancée had the Flourless Chocolate Espresso Cake, served with raspberries. My cheesecake was served brûlée style (torched & caramelized on top, like a crème brûlée) & excellent. However, that Flourless Chocolate Espresso Cake is what dreams are made out of. The taste of rich cocoa & espresso is making me drool as I write this. It was our first time doing the Generous Pour, but not our last! Wow! What an amazing experience. Everything from beginning to end, service wise & food wise was exemplary of the standard Capital Grille holds themselves to. The Capital Grille team on Instagram was also aware of our special night/reservation and checked in to make sure everything went well. Thank you for creating such a beautiful & tasty dining memory for my fiancée & I.

10/10!!! Omg everything was perfect. Our service, the food, the drinks, the extra mile our waiter went, it was all perfect! My boyfriend made reservations for our anniversary and they went the extra mile for sure! I don't remember our waiters name but he was extremely respectful and recommended both of our dishes. The vibe is very chill and laid back. If you like to party and listen to music this isn't the place it definitely has a more intimate atmosphere and that's exactly what I wanted. I got the filet mignon as is and it was delicious. My boyfriend got the rib eye and that was cooked perfectly as well. We definitely recommend the truffle fries and the lobster Mac and cheese. They even included free dessert as well as a champagne toast for our anniversary. Overall, I am more than satisfied with The Capital Grille and will definitely be coming back!!

I absolutely love this restaurant! It is perfect for a nice date or an occasion. The service is usually very good and fast. The servers are friendly and staff helps. The food is amazing. They have my absolute favorite lobster mac and cheese. I always look forward to going there because the food is consistently good!!

I am a Brickell local and have lived here since 2012. With that being said, I have frequented Capital Grille, but not recently. I chose Capital Grille as we were celebrating a birthday and I had very fond memories of the excellent service from years ago. My date had never been and we were celebrating a birthday. I wanted to find a nice steakhouse that he had not been to before. It was an unfortunate experience and very underwhelming to say the least. Our server, Gus, was excellent and did his best to overcome the mediocre food. The shrimp cocktail appetizer were tiger shrimp and tasted frozen. We sent them back as they were rubbery. The lobster crab cake had nice texture and a good sauce. The steaks :-( I ordered the Waygu strip that was on the special and came recommended. My partner ordered the filet mignon as that was what he wanted for his birthday dinner. Both steaks were ordered Medium rare. My steak was chewy, tough, and extremely salty. It did not look or taste like a waygu steak. My partner's filet was under seasoned. The quality of his steak was better than mine. The potatoes au gratin were good. The creamed spinach was awful. It looked and tasted like it was frozen spinach. I felt bad for Gus as he was trying his best to overcome the disappointment in our faces. He was gracious and he deserves recognition for his attempt to salvage the birthday dinner. We were presented with dessert to celebrate my partner's birthday and it was probably the best part of the meal. There are so many wonderful steak houses now in Brickell. Capital Grille was the first amazing steakhouse and the epitome of what a fine steakhouse should be. The standards have changed tremendously and it was a huge disappointment. It is a shame that we spent so much money for a lackluster experience on a very special day.

Wonderful meal at the Capital Grille. Our party of 7 enjoyed an awesome meal at CG. This place never disappoints whether it's here in Miami, DC, Virginia or else where. I enjoyed the beet and goat cheese salad, which was very fresh. For my entree, I chose the sea bass and asperagus. The fish was fresh and cooked to perfection. For dessert I chose the mixed berries and cream. Highly recommend CG Miami.

It's the lamb chops for me! DELICIOUS! The salmon was great too but the lamb chops stole the show. Oh and the lobster bisque had humongous lobster chunks. Also it was lunch but they serve dinner all day and brought the dinner menu for us without any issue. We went on bring your kid to work day and there was a bunch of lil servers assisting in chef hats. Absolutely adorable. The service was superior. We came, no reservation, but we were early. They sat us immediately. The food was served fast and the presentation was great. Impeccably clean. Our server, Joe, was AMAZING! I loved this restaurant.

David was an amazing waiter! He recommended the Florida Stone Crab and it didn't disappoint! We shared asparagus and mashed potatoes. Delicious! Highly recommended!

My dining experience at Capital Grille in Brickell was an outstanding one the other night. I had the pleasure of enjoying a nice steak with a lovely JUSTIN Cabernet wine that complemented it beautifully. The Ribeye steak was cooked to perfection and had an incredible porcini rub. Everything from the appetizer to the dessert was absolutely delicious. We were also lucky enough to be celebrating a birthday. The restaurant staff made it extra special by bringing out a beautiful cheesecake dessert that was phenomenal! It made our celebration even more memorable. We sat at the restaurant's bar to watch the heat game and it was a great time. The bartenders were friendly and knowledgeable about their menu. At the bar they also only pour FIJI water which is my favorite! Overall, I would highly recommend Capital Grille in Brickell. The quality of their food is exceptional, and their attentive service made the meal stand out. Whether you are celebrating a special occasion or just enjoying a night out, this restaurant is sure to exceed your expectations.

My favorite restaurant. Service, food and ambience is nothing but first class. A dining experience "worth every penny." It might be a lot of "pennies" but the Lobster Mac and Cheese and steak is incredible.

Oh my oh my oh my. My friends and I wanted to have a fancy girls night out and chose this place. And boy we were NOT disappointed! We arrived and valet parked. Hopped on the elevator and when the doors opened it was amazing to start. We were immediately greeted and seated and soon there after our waiter showed up and introduced himself and took our drink orders. He was great, quick and very attentive. The lamb chops were juicy and tender and flavorful! The mac and cheese?! We went back for seconds the next day!! The Brussels were also a star component of the meal nice and crispy! Cocktails were just as tasty as the food! We are definitely coming back to do this again!

The ambiance is lovely. It's gives classy lunch date vibes The waitress was a little rushed when it came to ordering but was still nice and patient. I got the steak sandwhich and it was soooooo juicy! It was slamming. The truffle fries OMGG delicious. Had a lemon drop Martini it was nice & strong. Over all 10/10

Good service and great steaks! The good: filet mignon is incredible and full of flavor (if you order it medium rare), they had Wagyu as a special, the waiter claimed it was A5 Wagyu I'm not too sure about that, but it was a great piece of meat, not the best Wagyu I've had but definitely good. I compared both the filet mignon and the Wagyu and I have to say the filet mignon was actually better, it had more flavor. The prosciutto mozzarella was AMAZING too! Trust me it's not the typical one everyone is used to, it's prepared differently and absolutely delicious. The mash potatoes were great! The cheesecake and the chocolate cake were both amazing as well. The service was also great. The bad: the truffle fries weren't great, but it's a decent sized portion if you are into truffle fries. Overall it was a great experience, if you have to choose between the Wagyu and Filet Mignon go with the Filet Mignon it's packed with flavor!

About a month ago I claimed some AmEx points and snagged myself a $50 gift card to this joint, told myself I'd wait a while until it felt right. The holidaze is always a nice time to treat yourself for getting through another year, and considering the one we've had it definitely felt necessary! I intended on bringing someone with me but with the blur of the holidaze and omicron creeping, I decided to run a solo mission instead lol. I pulled up on a Sunday with 45 minutes to closing time, no res, and hoping that the bar wasn't crowded. I lucked out and there were only two couples seated, and soon left, where I had the bar to myself for most of the time. Bartender Sarai did great. Started off with the Double Oaked and Rye Manhattan, and switched to a Boulevardier after, which I had never had before and was also very nice. I opted for the Pan-Seared Sea Bass with a small side of Sam's potatoes. Both were really good though I would've like a bit more shitake and asparagus with the Sea Bass or even some risotto to put all together. The coconut creme pie was fire and also HUGE, I managed to tackle it though lol. It was a clutch night and I was feeling myself, which made it that much more enjoyable. Another great visit and will be back again!

We went this weekend, celebrating my son's bday. I was not very happy to find out that the chocolate soufflé is no longer available. This was my place to go for my favorite dessert. The calamari was ok needed lots of lemon and it came with no red sauce which usually those. Lobster bisque was very good and My plate the steak and lobster was too. My sons plate one of the steaks had a burn taste to it snd he ordered his medium rare. I ended up changing steaks w him. My husbands plate also one of the steaks was ok, but definitely not like before. The Potato au gratin was good. I guess is time to look for a new steak restaurant and one with chocolate soufflé. Oh the cosmopolitan martini was very good very strong but I like it strong. The lemon drop not good was like drinking lime juice no vodka taste. I ended up asking for some agave to give it a sweeter less tart taste. I never send anything back but definitely not happy with most of it.

Quality food and service as was expected from Capital Grille. We ate at the bar and had appetizers and wine. The lobster crab cake was amazing-so much lobster! Highly recommend this location when in downtown Miami!

It is as a bit difficult finding the entrance from where we walked from (our hotel) it looked like it was closed down. Once we got inside, the restaurant was beautiful. They had the AC Boomin'! We were seated and our waiter came quick, she was on it. We got crab cakes, first time trying them and it was actually really good! Wasn't a big fan of the side of corn it was served with thought. My drinks was really good, can't recall the name of it off the top of my head. But it was fruity/sweet. So we got the two little lobster tails and tenderloin it was so tiny and cute. Don't let the serving size fool you, that was more than enough once we got the sides. I really enjoyed everything (the spinach could have been made better, more garlic BUT aside from that it was good) definitely recommend. *sidenote* The toilets in the restroom are low, so when you squat you gotta squat low low, talk about a mini workout!

It has been so long since I've had a completely perfect evening with an exquisite dinner with my parents. Everything went perfect from beginning to end. Absolutely nothing but praises to Andrea our waitress who made our evening even more top notch and fun. It was my beautiful mothers birthday. Mama gets whatever she wants on her day. I made reservations and mentioned the special occasion. Entering we only said hello and they greeted us by name and sat us to our confetti decorated table complete with a birthday card for my mom. I loved all this happy birthday attention. Andrea our waitress was perfect. Now my stepfather is a people person and if he feels your vibe and builds a good repoire with you ...thats it..bestfriends from that moment on. I swear Andrea was so nice if she could've sat with us we would've asked her to join us. She was a doll as she went over the wine list with us, brought us our drinks and fresh hot bread. We looked through the menu and she let us know about some specials not listed and let us know any changes or extras wouldn't be a problem to add. We chatted her up and not before long we were all just laughing away. The evening was laughter and smiles the whole damn time. Dinner was Devine. We started with the lobster crabcake and the new England chowder. Both fresh and perfect. Chunks of lobster and crab and the chowder was just as chunky. Our main I went with the sirloin and lobster...cooked to perfection with an outstanding seasoned flavor and the lobster grilled exactly how I like it still with that taste of freshness. Mom had the lamb and they cooked it perfectly She closed her eyes almost every bite. Dad had the steak with cipollini onions and mushrooms. First bite and he was already telling me to make another reservation while we were still there, lol. For the table we had the creamed spinach and it was the perfect texture and creaminess. The whole ambiance was just ridiculous. Moms was stuffed but ready for her dessert but Andrea surprised us with a birthday treat of a chocolate cake and a cheesecake. We all sang and mom was all smiles. The evening was perfect. My moms birthday was pure joy and the whole experience was almost as perfect as her. Now about this trendy spot. It's been around for over 25 years and has a cool background. Decor is sophisticated with Mahogany wood everywhere and old classic American paintings, statues, and figurines. Seats are comfy and even though there an open space all seating is still relatively private. We loved everything about this restaurant and look forward to more evenings like this.

Food was excellent can't complain. They had a few hiccups with the service but either way it was very professional. The Ambiance is really great because its extremely fancy.

This was my first time at Capital Grille as we were celebrating our anniversary. Our waiter was Gus and he was incredible! Everything he recommended was excellent! To be honest with you, the food was delicious but the service that Gus provided was what really made the difference. I highly recommend that you make your reservations and ask for Gus, you'll thank me later!

A marvelous, high class restaurant with truly outstanding food! I have been to the Capital Grille in Washington, D.c. and remember it being pretty good, but coming again to this Miami location really blew my expectations out of the water! First, you park in the parking garage and get a parking ticket, and when you show that to the hostess you get a discount on parking so that's good, but it seemed like they promised we would pay less for it than we did... as far as service goes, our Waiter David was just fantastic, so attentive and happy to answer any questions we had, and he was really a genuinely kind man, we really liked him. And the food, oh the food! This is one of the best meals overall that I can remember having, ever. I tried the Sea Bass for something different. I don't normally choose to have fish for a dish, if anything I get shrimp, scallops or a different seafood, but wow was I stunned by how good the sea bass was! It was melt in your mouth, eyes roll into your head and body shivers good!! No joking, one of the best seafood dishes I've ever had. Everything else I tried was just so stellar as well, the macaroni appetizer was scrumptious, and the special ribeye dish that my dad ordered was so incredible I made him share it with me. I had the creme brûlée for dessert, and it came with fresh fruit on the top, it really couldn't have been more perfect. Capital Grilled is no place to go if you aren't ready to spend about 3x the money on food that you would at most restaurants, but trust me when I say you are paying for the highest quality.

Coming here 20 years 5 years since my last visit. One of my favorite old time steakhouses one of the original power broker places of the early 2000's still doesn't miss. Old school feel seated timely for our reservation as they are bustling for a Tuesday night. My girlfriend called ahead as it was my birthday yesterday and they had a Birthday card, confetti, and such on the table which was a nice touch. .. The fresh bread was still outstanding though they changed the whipped butter :(... Service was TOP SHELF and professional all evening as our wine list is presented on a tablet. Big variety pricey but it is what it is. Selected a nice bottle from Washington state which was outstanding. After it was poured, we started out splitting a wedge $12.00 more than large enough to split. Ice cold as I like it, dressing was just ok while the chunks of fresh bacon were something I've never had in a wedge before which really made the salad. Two entrees: A Roasted chicken with parmesan Risotto with a glaze of some sort was really outstanding. the Kona Crusted bone in NY Strip topped with shallot butter was mouthwatering, cooked to perfection and its flavors will linger for some time. What I really like is they offer individual sides like sauteed spinach and mashed potatoes instead of the table size sides allowing us to taste both. Both were excellent. A complimentary birthday desert was provided that was chocolate mousse and cheesecake YUM. All and all aside from the dressing on the wedge to be just OK this continues to be one of my go to places for top shelf steak. Validated Valet parking is $15.00 just an FYI... As good as it gets.

Top notch steakhouse. Simply amazing from the service to the meals. We came during the generous pour with we don't miss since is an amazing wine tasting experience added to the already fantastic experience. It's a must.

Wow.... After some friends invited us to dinner at capital Grille this is my first time visiting the restaurant and I was extremely pleased with my experience. My husband and I went to a restaurant in Chicago and we tried finding a place similar in Miami that would give us great steaks and great food and for a while we thought we couldn't find it and then after visiting capital Grille we finally did. As starters we had the lobster bisque which was absolutely amazing and the oysters that were excellent!! I had the fillet mignon in bone and we also had a side of the lobster mac & cheese, spinach in cream and What looked to be a potato casserole. As dessert we had a crème brûlée and it was one of the best Crème brûlée I've ever had. Our server Michael was very attentive and always making sure that we had a great time I truly enjoyed my experience and I would definitely go back again.

My wife and I had dinner at the Bar and the service was exceptional and must say the bartender Jen went out of her way to make sure our experience was fantastic. Drinks were made to perfection and the meal was so delicious.

This was my first visit at Capital Grille and I was thoroughly impressed. Service was delightful and the food? Amazing. They serve you warm baked bread and I had to stop myself from eating too much before my food came because it was deliciously fresh. This steak literally melted in my mouth. I love that they offer freshly cracked black pepper at the table. That's my favorite! We each chose are our proteins and then shared sides for the table-- creamed spinach, asparagus, and mashed potatoes. Every single side was delicious and I was able to take home plenty to enjoy as leftovers. I would absolutely recommend. Tip: Go ahead and do the valet parking to save yourself the headache. Remember to present your parking ticket to the host/hostess at the restaurant before you leave!

A classic, always consistent on food and service. The OG Miami steakhouse that stands taller than the rest. Beatriz, the manager I believe, saved our graduation dinner today when another restaurant fell through. Without dropping a beat, Beatriz helped us reserve a private dining room. They went the extra mile by decorating the table and recognizing my son's achievement. As for servers, always ask for Gus - he makes you feel welcome from the moment you sit down and ensures your group is taken care of until you walk out the door. Thank you Beatriz and Gus for turning a curveball into an unforgettable experience for my family.

Swanky old school steak house with a modern but classic menu. We had the raw oysters and my goodness they were so fresh and absolutely divine. I had the Lobster bisque and it was so sweet, creamy and a great balance of flavors. My favorite. I shared a steak with my boyfriend. The espresso rubbed one I believe it was. So delicious. Perfectly cooked to our liking. We paired it with a bottle of Rombauer Zin and we were in heaven. It was my birthday so they surprised me with a happy birthday dessert. Great spot to visit while traveling to the area.

This location is less than a block from my place, so I have been here on multiple occasions. Food and Service has always been consistently great. Seafood Tower, Lobster Bisque, Filet Mignon, Lobster Mac 'n' Cheese and Creamed Spinach are a few of my favorites. If your not a fan of red meats or heavier proteins, the Miso Seabass is also excellent.
