Came here for my birthday and absolutely loved every bite. Even the veggie sides here are amazing. Our server (I think her name was Heather?) was the best. Even though we had reservations for a high top, we were able to sit at a regular table once we arrived. It was busy but still a great environment to have a conversation in. I would absolutely love to come back sometime so I can try out some more of the menu!

We were led all the way to the back of the dining room past many available tables to the farthest hidden table in the “wine room”. The floors were gross and the atmosphere where we were sitting compared to all the EMPTY tables we passed walking in, was very different and undesirable. We were close to a table of 4 and had to whisper over music to have privacy. We sat down and my partner’s utensils had not been properly washed and still had old food on them. The lobster and crab cake was delicious. The lobster Mac was the best thing all night. The Kona crusted steak was cooked properly, but had minimal garnish. The Caesar salad and burrata were fresh and vibrant. The scallop and lobster risotto lacked flavor and I bit into a piece of hard shell that I had to spit out or break a tooth on. Moreover, the scallops were seared unevenly with some not even having a sear (My boyfriend ate the ones without sear and didn’t chew because he was afraid they were raw). The highlight of the night was our server who had a great attitude and was real, knowledgeable and the overall epitome of great customer service except for asking how the meal was. Oh, and the free dessert for my birthday was a nice touch to an overall absolutely disappointing experience. Due to the seating experience and the quality of flavor/food compared to the expense, it’s questionable if we would be back or recommend to others. Raleigh location.

We enjoyed our wedding anniversary date night at The Capital Grille Philly and it was fun & memorable. We were treated with a “Happy Anniversary” table tent card and adorable multi-color mini heart confetti on our table. Our server, Zach was absolutely phenomenal greeting us with two glasses of champagne 🥂 to start our celebration 🎉 (he’s great at upselling☺️). Although Zach was in high demand that night he still made us feel like we were the only couple in the room. My husband and I had such a wonderful time it was perfect. We even enjoyed seeing a few snowflakes fall while eating dinner. Our starters & appetizers were delicious. Thank you to our server, Zach & The Capital Grille for an amazing wedding anniversary date night! We would absolutely choose this dining experience again!!!

Google
Amazing experience for Valentine’s Day! The food was top notch and the bartender made the best Amaretto Sour I’ve ever had. The filet mignon with Kona sauce was fabulous. My husband and I enjoyed every bit of our meal and there was plenty to take home. Received a little surprise for dessert at the end and they were so rich and delicious! Recommend to anyone looking for a finer dining experience!

Google
We had a wonderful time at the Capital Grill. Seated up on arrival (15 minutes early) and our drinks were wonderful. The Bourbon Old fashioned that I enjoyed was marvelous. My wife had the Sea Bass and I hand the gorgonzola topped bone-in NY strip with a Cabernet reduction. We shared a beet salad and some tasty brussel sprouts. Coffee and a happy birthday dessert topped off a great night. Kudos to the entire wait staff. Douglas, our waiter, effortlessly guided us through the menu and was attentive.

Google
Anniversary dinner and first time there. Valet service. Excellent grade. The atmosphere was very nice and quiet. I loved the high back seating. We had a curved back. The Caesar salad was delicious. It had a tang to the flavor that was different from others I've tried. The salmon was served over pearl onions, which made a sweet sauce and green beans. The lobster mac and cheese and creamed spinach were also delicious. My husband had the shrimp for an appetizer with main course, filet mignon, and lobster. We received a complimentary dessert on a rectangular plate, which said Happy Anniversary. One end had fudge with raspberries and whipped cream, and the other end had cheese cake with different berries. Before we left, I received a complimentary long stemmed rose , which was very nice. Overall, it's an excellent restaurant you must try!

Google
Excellent food, always consistent. The bone in filet with peppercorn au poivre was perfection. It was a busy night so service was a Lil slow but we were also in a time crunch so probably wouldn't have noticed if it weren't for that. Staff were amazing though. Highly recommend

BRIAN IS AMAZING! My first time here and I was celebrating Valentine’s Day with my fiancé and our baby boy. He made us feel so comfortable, explained everything on what they had to offer, shared his expertise, and he did not fail us. It was so delicious. I got their NY strip with lobster. So buttery and tender. Didn’t need much. Our sides were the au gratin potatoes and Brussels sprouts. So flavorful. Definitely try the bacon appetizer. My fiancé got the sea bass which Brian recommends and we loved it. The desserts were so tasty. I would be coming back for sure all thanks to Brian and his wonderful service. Will be requesting him too.

Yelp
This is the best steak house in town! Everything is ALWAYS good, but tonight was exceptional! We were celebrating my son's 32nd birthday. Our server, Kenny H, was so much fun! He gave us great recommendations (the Nueske's bacon with Korean bbq sauce is incredible!) and had all of us laughing. We all commented on his wonderful personality! We ordered: *Scallops with lobster risotto. My husband said said it was very good but the asparagus in the risotto was a bit strong and overpowering. *Sliced 10oz filet served with mushrooms and onions. It was excellent! Perfect medium rare. Great flavors * Chicken with risotto - my daughter in law thought it was just ok. She enjoyed all the sides! * Roasted beets and goat cheese salad - SO GOOD!! I loved it! * sides: Lobster Mac and Cheese, brussel sprouts, au gratin potatoes - delicious , large portions This is the perfect place to celebrate a special occasion!

Yelp
We really wanted to like this place but there are other options in Raleigh. Service from Max was fantastic!, but the place was busy and noisy. We had the New England clam chowder, which tasted off, not bad but different. The sliced filet was cooked perfectly but the fig reduction with the sliced mushrooms & onions was far too sweet. The big fail was the cold au gratin potatoes were flat out cold. The wait was a long time and yet the potatoes were cold! We drove farther than we like for less than stellar meal.

Yelp
Wow!!! I had a fabulous dinner from beginning to end . The valet quickly opened my door and patiently waited for me to get out of my vehicle. Upon walking in we were greeted by the friendly front staff. We were seated immediately. Our server NICOLE was outstanding- knew the menu well and recommended drinks and dinner specialties. Our food came within 15 min of ordering - we split the 10oz fillet which was cooked to perfection ( medium) paired with Brussel sprouts, French fries and mash potatoes. All sides were delicious but the Brussels sprouts were the stand out side dish - best prepared Brussels sprouts in the entire restaurant community- hands down . We finished with the crème brûlée which was delicious as well . Thank you Capital Grille Raleigh for an incredible experience and dinner . When I am in the Raleigh area I will be coming back again . Reservation date : 530p 10/8

Yelp
I would usually give this restaurant chain 5 stars but for some reason this Raleigh spot has gone to semi crap. The floor was filthy in multiple areas, the service not impeccable as it used to be. The steak I always get was not as good as it consistently used to be. It was disappointing. Not sure if it's this spot solely that went down. This has nothing to do with the restaurant and did not affect the rating I gave this time but people just don't know how to dress nicely anymore. Some outfits were just so crazy cheap and cheesy. Picture a bodycon onesie with rhinestones and nothing left to the imagination. No class. Be classy people. You can dress sexy but still classy. Anyway, it's not ALL bad, just not like it was. I would still eat there, however there are many new spots emerging that are amazing and not as expensive. Plan to spend at least 300 a couple here.

Yelp
Went for lunch a few weeks ago and the food was amazing. The most enjoyable part was my waitress Chrissy, she provided amazing service, recommendations, and conversation. Will definitely be returning to see her soon.

Mark G.

Yelp
If you like to be forgotten and wait an hour and a half to get a crappy steak on dirty dishes, then this is the place for you. Otherwise, got to The Angus Barn.

Lawrence L.

Yelp
Their bistro steak is a great option for a lighter steak meal. It is sliced thin and served with a light herb sauce that enhances the natural flavors. The side salad was fresh and crisp, making the whole meal feel balanced. It is a great choice if you want something flavorful but not too heavy.

Gina Marie S.

Yelp
Yet another lovely dining experience at Capital Grille in North Hills in Raleigh, this time for a friend's birthday. We enjoyed fantastic cocktails, of course. You will receive well-balanced high-end mixed drinks at Capital Grille. I ordered the roasted chicken breast over risotto (without mushrooms) and asparagus. There is a savory but light sauce that tastes of soy or worcestershire. The chicken breast has been cooked perfectly every time I've ordered it. It is a recommended option. There were rolls served with lunch. A few went home with me. The butter is rich and delicious; it went home with me, too. No matter the time of day, the service is on point; servers are attentive but, not obtrusive. Your happy hour or dining experience will be consistently good. Bartenders, waitstaff, and cooks are professionals. You won't be disappointed, I promise. Yes, I'm coming back. See you soon, CG!

Alex A.

Yelp
Thinking of coming back soon. Looking forward to great steaks, wine and desserts. Definitely trying menu items.

Ty E.

Yelp
Amazing place. We love everything from the Valet parking, food and the atmosphere/vibe of the restaurant.. Your entire staff was great.great.Prices are very reasonable. Our waiter Douglas was top notch. He was everything you could ask for and we hope we have him again on our next vist. This is definitely one of our top places to enjoy a night out.

Sandy S.

Yelp
Made a reservation came on a Sunday night. The service was great. It was really cold in there though so a bit uncomfortable. Our waiter was very attentive. We received our food with the reasonable amount of time. There's not really much of a good view from there the place is upper scale ambience does not compare to Vegas. The complementary bread variety was great. They came out nice and hot. We placed an order of which we never miss at restaurants. It's the lobster mac & cheese. It is the best you must try it. We ordered the steak tartare we have had better pretty bland. The double cut lamb pork chops were really good. They had a bit of a honey flavor and they were a good portion for the price . Pan seared sea bass with miso butter was tender but it could could have used some salt . We tried the coconut cream pie with rum however I am not a big coconut fan. My husband is and he gave it a 10 out of 10. They have valet service

Bradford M.

Yelp
Food was very good. Staff excellent. Pricey however you get what you pay for. Steaks on par with top steakhouses

Liz C.

Yelp
I only came to this restaurant because my daughter worked there for a short time. She wanted to treat me to a nice dinner for Mother's Day and she was supposed to receive a 200$ discount off the meal. So we went and I figured since we had the discount we would order some of the more expensive menu items to see how good they were. It was not worth it I ordered the tomahawk steak And my daughter got the steamed lobster We also shared the lobster Mac and cheese And some lamb chops The tomahawk was not even warm when I received it and it was over cooked. How do you do that? Also very bland. I'm guessing this is European style cuisine. No flavor what so ever. Not even a hit of salt or pepper. Maybe the seasoning is extra and you have to request it. But very underwhelming. The lobster had no flavor also but I get that because they give you butter to dip it in. But still just very basic and underwhelming. The Mac and cheese was good. The lamb chops were nicely cooked but again no flavor. I could have cooked them myself at home. We took these home for my husband. I guess I expected to be wowed by the taste and the style of this restaurant but I found it completely over rated. Underwhelmed and disappointed. And the staff refused to give my daughter her 200$ discount so we had to come out of pocket for this over priced and unenjoyable dinner.

Andy S.

Yelp
A vendor took us there for lunch . I had a salad, spicy pepper calamari, 14 oz boneless ribeye, and creamed spinach. All the food was great and the service was awesome

Scott H.

Yelp
The Capital Grille is quite the experience if you're not used to being pampered. We had reservations for four and were greeted warmly and escorted to our table promptly. I split a bottle wine with my MIL and my FIL had scotch from the bar. My appetizer of oysters on the half shell was quite the delicacy like I've never experienced. My entree of seared scallops with lobster risotto was spot on. Our server Max was quite attentive and even brought us steamed towels after we finished our appetizers. The level of attention to detail was like nothing I've ever experienced. All in our party were extremely satisfied and we all agreed that this would not be our last visit to this establishment. It's definitely too notch!

Michael T.

Yelp
We came here for Christmas eve dinner and it was amazing the waiter even brought a sweet treat on him. The only complaint that I have is the Valets need to work in the cold without heaters the owner at the restaurant I work at would never have that please give the valets heaters.

Manuel L.

Yelp
Never fail with this place! Always amazing steaks and sides. Aubrey is the best server there in my opinion and will always ask for her to assist us when we are there.

Natika G.

Yelp
I celebrated a friends birthday here and this is a stunning restaurant. It's attached to a hotel and located in a very busy area. To help with parking they offer complimentary valet. The menu isn't overwhelming and they offer a host of different options. My friend had steak but he didn't like it. I had the seabas and everything was great besides the asparagus. We had the lobster Mac and it lacked flavor.

Ashleigh F.

Yelp
I have always heard great things about the capital grille and I finally got an opportunity to dine in at the restaurant. I made reservations online prior to the date. The restaurant is unable to accommodate parties of more than 8 on the weekend. They do offer complimentary valet parking. The restaurant was a decent size with booths and tables inside. It was nicely decorated. We were seated a few minutes after our reservation. One server introduced herself a little while after we were seated. The other server was helpful and nice. We were provided with complimentary bread. We ended up ordering the lobster and crab cakes as an appetizer. They were served with a sauce and a corn salad. The salad and cakes were great. For my dinner I got the lamb chops. They were prepared perfectly. The sides were served family style. You have the option of splitting them and getting half orders to try other options. We got the asparagus, mashed potatoes, cauliflower au gratin and potatoes au gratin. The au gratins were ok. I wouldn't get them again. I loved the asparagus and mashed potatoes. I was also provided with a birthday card and dessert sampler for my birthday. I wasn't a fan of the flourless cake. The cheesecake with a creme brûlée topper was good and creamy. Unfortunately the the crab cakes that Chef Matt made for my friend's to-go order were over cooked.

Jennifer L.

Yelp
My friends and I visited this past Saturday in an effort to celebrate the launch of our new business. There were 7 of us. 6 ordered drinks from the bar. We waited extremely long for our cocktails. They actually came out with our appetizers & entrees. I ordered a blue cheese crusted strip. Tough as leather. I also ordered creamed spinach. It was overwhelmingly salty. My date's lamb chops were extremely salty. Another guests lamb chops were extremely salty as well. They dealt with their inedible entree, I did not. I replaced my NY strip with a crab cake, and my creamed spinach with sautéed spinach. Wanna know what I discovered when I got home? 1/2 of my crab cake was burnt to a carcinogenic mess. Food is too expensive for this type of product. Especially from a 'premier' steakhouse.

Mable S.

Yelp
Our family decided to have a Thanksgiving meal at The Capital Grille. The ambiance was perfect as usual but the meal left a little to be desired. The meal was served barely warm. The sides were tasteless except the mash potatoes. The hot honey sweet potato dish was a hot mess! Service subpar. Capital Grill was not the best choice for our Thanksgiving feast.

Mia B.

Yelp
Food is pretty good, though sometimes should use a bit of salt. My main issue is the price. I've been coming here since 2020 and the price of lamb has gone from high $40s/low $50s to $63. And you only get 4 chops with no sides. That's almost a 50% increase within 4 years. The service is amazing, decor is beautiful, and the drinks are great. But the price increases almost do not make this place worth it. I've driven to Charlotte and Northern VA and eaten at AYCE steakhouses for cheaper and more flavor. I think my Capital Grille era is coming to a close.

Lorraine O.

Yelp
Nicole was our server and she was both incredibly attentive and also gave us just the right amount of space and privacy to enjoy our meal. The table they gave us was secluded and the little personal touches to help us celebrate our anniversary made the night so special. The complimentary valet was also a lovely surprise. The steaks were pretty outstanding. I knew we were going to spending a bit more for quality and I wasn't disappointed. I'd happily go back!

Will M.

Yelp
It was a couples date night and our friends chose the place. It didn't disappoint. From the convenience of the valet, the experience started. We were greeted upon arrival and taken to the table where our friends were waiting. They had ordered some drinks already so we matched them. The waiter was attentive and followed up on our order efficiently. They had passion margaritas and we had old fashioned. Very well made. I had sides which were delicious, like grilled asparagus and mushrooms. Fresh bread assortment was spot on. Wifey had the filet mignon with greens and she was very happy. The other two went NY strip and ribeye (done Pittsburgh style). Both were extremely happy with their meal. Cooked perfectly. We'll go back, some day. The waiter that helped at the end was also very engaged and even spoke Spanish which was neat. Bring your cash!

Kaitlyn R.

Yelp
We came here for our anniversary and it was stellar from start to finish. Our server Kenny was delightful and made the whole experience so fun. The food was incredible, everything from the oysters to the steak. And they decorated our table with hearts and rose petals. We were seated next to the kitchen and could see through a window. Absolutely wonderful and definitely a night to remember.

WD T.

Yelp
Wifey and I ended up with an open evening and took a chance. Despite their busy night they found a beautiful table for us. Superb table service and great staff teamwork really cemented a memorable evening for both of us. I'm not going to go deep with explanations and descriptions on our drinks, appetizers, mains, and dessert. Just accept that everything served was top tier. I extend a guarantee that a quick glance at their menu and several items will grab your attention. Don't accept what you see on your first pass. Speak with your servers. Trust me. They can orient to options that just might top your first choice. The restaurant space is expansive but warmly inviting. The next time we're in town we will make time for this gem.

Susan B.

Yelp
The food was really good, but I expected that for what they charged. The decor is nice so it gives off that feel that you're not dining at Outback, although some people were dressed as though they were. What I was a little disappointed in was the service. There were a lot of servers. They didn't seem to be short staffed. Perhaps not well trained. Appetizers, soups and salads were still not cleared before entrees were served which made things crowded. No steak knives were delivered prior to these gorgeous steaks being served. We had to ask for them and wait staring at our steaks. Birthday celebration so they delivered a nice dessert but no candle when the table next to us had a candle. We were celebrating a milestone birthday so they did have a card and confetti on the table which was a nice touch. We did ask about the candle when we saw the table next to us in a joking manner, and it was just brushed off with a laugh. Perhaps we shouldn't have asked in a joking manner. When you pay the kind of money that they demand, then you should get the service with great food. I would have given them 4 stars if the service was better. We still tipped well because it's about the training and don't fault the individual server. The bone-in Kona crusted dry aged was to die for, by the way.

Harry H.

Yelp
I have visited this location several times for dinner. I must report the food is quite good there has been a time or two I had to send the food back to the kitchen because it was not the temperature of my liking. Recently I was there and witnessed an unfortunate situation where a Black Guy was unfairly treated. He was targeted in my humble opinion as he was threatened by an aggressive White customer at the bar. It was clear to all that the White Guy was the instigator of the situation. To my surprise and disappointment, the Manager escorted the Black Guy out of the restaurant unfairly. The Manager handled the situation VERY unprofessionally. My wife and I chose to leave after the incident due to the clear bias that was displayed. We will not return to this location until everyone is treated equally.

Craig S.

Yelp
The service is exactly what we have come to expect from Capital Grille over the years. Very hospitable, and friendly. Our server (Bryan) brought out serval complimentary items and was really engaged. Unfortunately, the food was a miss. Not sure if the kitchen was having a tough night, or if this is just typical for this location. The temperature on the steak was off by 2 (ordered medium and it was closer to rare) and the cold seafood app / platter was just not very good. The shrimp were really tough, shell flakes in the oysters. Overall just really subpar food experience. I will (we will) give them another shot in the future, but this just was not a typical Capital Grille experience.

Megan S.

Yelp
The food was very good and the service was even better. I had a sweet potatoes casserole and that was cooked to perfection. The lemon drop martinis here are also very good.

Dan D.

Yelp
With 65 locations (as of May 2023), Darden's Capital Grille does the high-end steakhouse right and their Raleigh, NC in North Hills is no exception. Chances are you've eaten at a CG in another city, and the experience here is great: the service, the atmosphere, the food. A small advisory - it's not an inexpensive place, so be prepared. :)

Ed

Yelp
They are consistently excellent. Great menu, great wine list, great bar, great space, great staff, front and kitchen, great service. It's a celebration. The Fresh Sea Bass was an inch and a half thick, white, flaky, with a wonderful cream sauce. The double-cut fresh American Lamb rib chops were huge portions, perfectly seasoned with a spice rub, sliced open to pink perfection. The Tomahawk Veal Chop was fresh, tender, and grilled just right. This has been in the Triangle Area's Top Five since it opened, and the fanatic standard of excellence is appreciated at every level. Thanks guys. PS - As a native New Yorker, I was astounded by the low bill at the end, for the quality and service we received. Left a 30% tip.

Shawn H.

Yelp
We went here before a Pink concert and sat in the bar area. The service and drinks were exceptional, as always. I ordered a filet and when it was delivered, it was gray. To achieve this color you would have to have boiled it. No sear or as many would say, no color, no flavor. My wife's burger had more sear and flavor than my filet. We didn't have enough time for me to send it back but why would I have to? It's not like we went to Applebees for a steak. I'm giving my rating based on no chef should have ever let that steak leave the kitchen. What an embarrassment. We live in Charlotte and frequent the CG there. Never an issue like this. Everyone else's food was great but for being a steak place, how do you mess up a filet?

Sasha S.

Yelp
I love this place. Lunch is great. Comes with a salad! If you want a nice classy lunch come here. Never been here for dinner but the service and the people at the front are the sweetest.

John C.

Yelp
This is at a whole other level . The service was beyond good. The food was amazing. And the atmosphere was so elegant. Nice job.

Kenya N.

Yelp
We celebrated a birthday this year there and the food was delicious as always the French onion soup. Where is out of this world. The crab cake is mine blowing. I also had a vegetarian plate from there. It was absolutely delicious. Our waiter was so funny and cool he actually went to a rival College so we joked about that he made accommodations for us to late someone come in late so he was really nice and it was a party of about 8. The food came out good timing the bartenders are always on point there.

Pablo G.

Yelp
You probably don't need a review but... Capital Grille is not cheap at all but worth a visit. Service is outstanding as expected - thank you Jessica from Toronto, our server. Wine selection is great Impossible to get a reservation same day but we were seated in the bar area- comfortable and great ambiance Food was well prepared and cooked to specifications Had one of best espressos in NC- well done. Dessert was fantastic

John P.

Yelp
Food is very good. The staff goes above and beyond to give you a wonderful experience. The bring out a special dessert if you are celebrating an event. Valet parking is a must if you are going because it is always hard to find parking in that area.

Unika B.

Yelp
I throughly enjoyed myself the day before Mother's Day for an early dinner with a good friend I made at the gym. My staple and go-to sea bass and mashed potatoes was the meal of the night with a cocktail. I have been interested in the Daniel Libeskind ( architect ) designed bottle of Richard Hennessy though I wanted taste it before I invested that much ( $7,000) in a bottle of cognac. While The Capital Grille does not carry the newly designed Daniel Libeskind bottle, they did have the legacy bottle of Richard Hennessy. Since my birthday is next week and Mother's Day is tomorrow, I decided to bite the bullet to taste the fine Richard Hennessy cognac with my dinner. 2oz. set me back $430 the aroma was delightful, the taste was smooth. $7,000 isn't in my budget at the current moment for cognac... though I do plan to budget for it in the future. There were birthdays and graduation patrons in the building along with regular Saturday dinner attendees making the restaurant very full and vibrant. My waitress Katie was attentive, polite. Will definitely return at some point. Unika B. & Co.

Yelp
Let me start off by saying we made reservations here for our 10 year anniversary. We arrived for our 8 pm reservation and was told our table wasn't ready but we could grab a drink at the bar. We had 2 dirty vodka martinis with blue cheese stuffed olives and they were phenomenal. We got seated sometime around 8:30. Our server Bryan greeted us and explained the menu and the specials. Super nice guy and very attentive. We ordered the seafood platter as an appetizer and it didn't disappoint. Now here is where things kinda took a turn. My wife's steak was undercooked and my steak as overcooked. They promptly took them back and came back with new steaks. My wife's was fine but mine was super raw. They took it back and apologized. Brought out one more and again it as totally raw and undercooked. Dana the manager stopped by and said they were taking care of our entire bill including all the alcohol and presented us with a $50 gift card for us to use on a return visit. There's no such thing as customer service nowadays, we were totally blown away by their professionalism and willingness to go the extra distance to make us happy. We didn't ask for anything they just took care of us. Moral of the story is when things don't always work out just the way we would like it was nice knowing they did their absolute best to make up for the mistakes. We commend Dana and Bryan for taking great care of us. Hopefully The Capitol Grill knows how great their employees truly are.

Yelp
Dinner at The Capital Grille was on point as always and the food was great! I never try to get reservations here cause it's almost impossible but there is almost always a high table available at the bar. My drink was the Blackberry Bourboun Sidecar and it was delish!!! Bread service is so good and literally my weakness! We got the Tuna Avocado Tartare and Shrimp cocktail to start. Our entrées were the Bone-In Kona Crusted Dry Aged NY Strip, Porcini Rubbed Bone-In Ribeye and Potatoes Augratin on the side. The service is top notch! Our server was really sweet and quick! She even gave me more of the black bread to go with my leftovers. I dunno why I even bother going anywhere else. Note: Our server was awesome but I wasn't able to get her name.

michael p.

Yelp
You get what you pay for. Every morsel of food was spot on. Only issue I had was the shock of how small a portion the tenderloin and lobster tails were. However, it was completely delicious and filling. Compared to the 10oz filet my daughter had and the huge chicken breasts and risotto my wife had, I was like "oh" looking at my plate. BUT, worth every dollar. Bread/rolls with salted butter. Calamari lightly fried with light peppery heat. Lobster Mac n Cheese... the best I have had. Garlic fries, you won't be kissing after that scrumptious side. And a complimentary dessert provided for our anniversary. Lovely touch. Excellent service. Will be back.

Kelley M.

Yelp
Went for a special birthday dinner, and everything was great. From the table setting, to the wait staff and the food.

Markisha D.

Yelp
Visited The Capital Grille for My Anniversary and I'm so glad my husband chose this spot! We had a late night reservation on a weekend night, so I just knew we'd have to wait but soon as we checked in they sat us at our table. First off, the ambiance is such a vibe. It's a beautiful and very intimate spot. The staff was absolutely amazing, our server was super sweet, she gave us roses for our Anniversary. We had the Roasted Chicken Breast with mushrooms and Risotto plus mashed potatoes with asparagus. The chicken was soooo tender and delicious- chef's kiss! Our server gave us some cheesecake and unlimited refills on the mint lemonade. I wish I could buy a gallon of the lemonade. I love that the side dish items are big enough portions for the table to share - if you're feeling generous. Will def be back to try some other items - 10/10 recommend.

Yelp
Sam was the best! We sat at the bar and Sam took care of all our needs. She was great!

Yelp
Honestly I don't even know what "star" rating to give this place. It's my husbands birthday..we invited our friends to join us for dinner. Our waitress, Christian deserves 5 stars alone. She was great. And kept apologizing to us and I'll explain why. So we got our complimentary bread and we ordered our food and appetizers. Didn't get a time frame on that. All I know is that everyone at our table except for one of my friends got our food. We wait for everyone to get their food before we start to eat, it's a respect thing. 15 minutes my friend still doesn't have his food. We got the same thing. The manager said it'll be out in about 60s or so. Probably waited another 5 minutes...meanwhile the rest of our dishes were cold. We asked them to reheat everything. They brought out cold calamari to my friend who didn't receive his meal yet. They brought out extra lobster Mac n cheeses because the first ones were cold. The food itself wasn't that good for me. My husband enjoyed it but I didn't. They comped our meal at the end because the manager really did mess up. The only thing we paid for was the crème brûlée. I mean Christian was great and it was nice they comped us our dinner but wasn't really impressed.

Yelp
Started off with the calimari, a salad, and seared to perfection, porcini rubbed, with 15 year old aged balsamic, bone in ribeye steak cooked medium rare. Impressive wine collection in visible glass racks. Good meal and prices were not outrageous for the quality of the meal.

Yelp
Where do I begin. The server was very friendly and helpful with the menu options. We were served bread in the beginning to start off. We had the crab cake appetizer which was amazing. We then had our dinner. Both filet mignon topped with crab cake and lobster. They were both so so good. Very juicy steak and the sauce was very delicious. We got a complimentary anniversary dessert which was crème brûlée cheesecake and a mini dark chocolate cake topped with coffee flakes. Very good ambiance with dim lighting and very good soothing music to e not your food with. I would definitely recommend for dinner especially anniversary. The server even gave us (my wife ) a rose at the end to send us home with. Definitely will be back.

Yelp
I have no words. Everything about this restaurant is shwae. Our waiter was probably the most enthusiastic and competent waiter I've ever encountered. Like, he was made for this job. He was on top of everything, even tiny bread crumbs on the table he managed to clean up. The steak I ordered was close to the best steak I've ever had...I'm talking better than Vinnie's steakhouse kind of stuff. The truffle fries were a little under seasoned but other than that my expectations were exceeded. Pro Tip: It's definitely wise to save room for dessert.
