Brasserie 1809

"The restaurant is done out in a modern Alpine style, with an interior that is upscale, sleek and at the same time inviting. As for the food great store is set by regional produce and sustainable farming. Select ingredients go into creating tasty seasonal dishes. It is pleasant to eat on the lovely terrace, and not only in summer! The Capra hotel has wonderful inviting guestrooms." - Michelin Inspector

The Best MICHELIN Guide Hotels in Switzerland

"Even by the lofty standards of Swiss alpinism, the village of Saas-Fee is something else. “Pearl of the Alps” might seem a confusing nickname until you plop yourself in the heart of this gabled, car-free hamlet, from whose perspective the surrounding snow-capped four-thousanders distinctly take on the aspect of an oyster’s lip. Ski resorts around here have embraced intimacy in size and scope — rather than compete with the grandeur of the mountains, they take pride in a humble familiarity with the land. Snow globes rather than glow snobs, if you will. Into this elegant tableau we welcome a relative newcomer: The Capra Saas-Fee." - Le Guide MICHELIN

I recently stayed at this hotel, and it was an incredible experience! From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable, especially Bruna, who was exceptionally helpful and friendly. Her warm hospitality truly made a difference and set the tone for my entire visit. The spa was absolutely fantastic – the treatments were beyond relaxing and left me feeling rejuvenated. It was clear that they pay great attention to detail in every service. This is a very new hotel, and you can tell they’ve invested in top-quality amenities and design. Everything felt luxurious and pristine, with every detail executed to perfection. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a high-end, relaxing experience!

From start to finish this was a spectacular stay. Greeted from the car service the reservations team arranged by a friendly young man who gave me an overview of town and took to to Capra. Reception was amazing from Kevin and then drinks offered from Hanne that were incredibly crafted. They collectively helped me plans hikes in the area and set dinner reservations for me at Capra. The room was perfect! The spa was fabulous! The food was delicious and the wines I enjoyed too. A perfect stay! I will come back for longer with my wife. Thank you!!!

The Capra Hotel in Saas Fee was an exceptional blend of luxury and personal touches that make for an unforgettable stay. From the moment we arrived, the staff ensured that we felt at home. ||Upon arrival, I was warmly greeted with a delightful espresso coffee. When I requested honey to accompany it, the attentive staff remembered this preference throughout my stay, consistently bringing me espresso with honey without needing to ask. This level of attention to detail truly sets The Capra apart.||The hotel's facilities are equally impressive. The push-button showers are a standout feature, offering a luxurious and modern touch that enhances the overall experience. The spa and massage was amazing, and the hotels saunas and hydrotherapy pools, provided a perfect retreat after a day hiking.||The Capra Hotel combines the warmth of a chalet with the luxury of a five-star hotel, making it an ideal choice for those seeking a personalized and memorable 5 Star alpine getaway. We will be back.

Just fantastic in every way. The hotel is beautifully appointed, luxurious but not overdone, with a wonderful alpine feel. The rooms were very nice, quiet, and plenty of space. The standout feature though was the staff. Everyone from the restaurant, front desk, housekeeping, spa, driver, and many others could not be nicer, more helpful, called me by name, and made me feel completely welcome. The highest compliment I can pay is that I’d go out of my way to stay here again.

Spectacular in every way. Please note that this not in zermatt which is 50 mins away via Täsch railway to get to zermatt. We made that mistake thinking this was in zermatt. The hotel is in the lovely town of sass-fee. The hotel booked via Amex fhr was perfect in every way. The Swiss engineering is second to none and everything was pristine and very tastefully modern. Walk to everything in the cute town. Take a valve car to the glacier and we had lunch at Spielboden which they also own at the second chairlift. The rooms were beautiful either amazing views of the mountains. The staff was top notch all the way Kevin and team do a great job of making everyone feel welcome comfortable and safe. I had massage with Theo with medicinal herbs it was perfect. The spa is truly spectacular. The food and dining was perfect. We loved every second of our stay.

This modern hotel in Saas Fee is a true gem! From start to finish, the experience was exceptional. The concept and design are fantastic, and we were welcomed with a delicious drink upon arrival. The reception team was so kind and made us feel right at home. Every staff member we encountered was attentive and friendly. The amenities really stood out—there’s a wonderful breakfast to start the day, and the dinner was equally impressive. The spa and sauna are perfect for relaxing, and the outdoor pool with mountain views was a highlight. The hotel also has a great space for kids and spotless, well-appointed rooms. As a sweet touch, they even gave us brownies to go at checkout! Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Saas Fee. Thank you for a memorable stay; I’ll definitely be sharing this recommendation with friends!
