Kirin Mai tai Forgotten skipper Entrees: Fries small Really nice speakeasy the decoration is spot on and the bartender is so cool and nice my friend loves their cocktails and never has anything bad to say definitely check this place out they have quite a few things to snack on here as well and they all look great. The fries were pretty good too and crispy.

Our first time here and loved it! It was open on a Monday for an event - it's little and cozy, maybe 25ish seats - excellent cocktails by Captain Dave!

This spot is a very awesome speak easy, located next to Hula's Modern Tiki in Phoenix. There is an unsuspecting side door in which you enter. Upon entry, there exists this awesome bar, tiki with a nautical theme. The drinks here are amazing, as they are prepared with quality and care, and an approach of pure mixology is taken! Anything on the menu is amazing, and if you want something off-menu, the mixologist will accommodate. This spot is drinks only. However, directly next door is Hula's should you require some solid sustenance. This location is small and a more personal experience, which adds to its amazingness . It's first come, first serve. Check the website for times of operation and also to make sure it hasn't been reserved for a special event. If you desire a really good cocktail, venture no further! This spot is a must for tiki enthusiasts and non tiki folk alike! Definitely enter and experience a very awesome voyage!!!

What a cool speakeasy! It’s right next to Hula’s and I definitely walked right past it without realizing it. In true speakeasy fashion there isn’t a sign just a single door with a red light. The interior decor is incredible, with great attention to detail. The Captain/bartender was amazing! He fit the role perfectly and made time to take to every customer. The tiki drinks were so fun and reasonably priced considering they were strong. It’s a small space that doesn’t take reservations, so be prepared to wait but it’s worth it!

Great little speakeasy next to Hula's (more like parts of the same venue). Vibe is cozy and warm, drinks are centered on aged rums and consist of most of the classics (Zombie, Three Dots...etc) with a couple twists.

Fun speakeasy next to Hula’s. Small space with limited seating so expect to wait or maybe be unable to come in. We were very lucky that we happened to come in when a group of 4 people left. The drinks were good and not too expensive especially for their size. I love their look and how fun all the drinks were, very good tasting and fun for pictures. The Captain/bartender was super friendly and attentive, he made it a point to connect with each guest and was talking to patrons. I liked the aesthetic of the place, very much a tiki bar with a ship theme which was fun. Similar menu to Hula’s if not the exact same. The space was also a bit hot and felt a little stuffy but that can be expected from a small space. When we came in, it was our first time and since there is no hostess, only the captain, we felt a little awkward and unsure of what to do or if we should sit ourselves. That was probably the only bad part. They have seats at the bar and some booth areas as well. Probably no more than 15 people or so could fit in there comfortably so it’s kind of nice to have the space that’s intimate and unique. I would probably go back, but would get there early to avoid having to wait or being unable to get a spot!

The Captain's Cabin is such a wonderful staple for quality tiki drinks here at Uptown. The cabin is a small cozy speaker easy run by The Captain, offering not only a year round great tiki menu, but seasonal drinks as well. Service and quality here is uncomfortable. A definite go-to of mine and a place I'll always recommend. Try the Trader's Chi Chi or Lady Saturn for gin lovers.

Cap’n David is the literal best; very kind gentleman and an excellent barkeep to boot. The atmosphere, music, and food provide fantastic accompaniments to the drinks he slings. God bless the Cap’n, God bless Tiki, and God bless America.
