The Carlisle Room

We had our wedding at The Carlisle Room and would absolutely recommend to anyone! The event manager, Jennifer, was very helpful and quick to respond whenever I contacted her. We were also very pleased with the catering and bar package. You can’t beat the location in downtown Dallas, especially with guests traveling in for the wedding.

We had our wedding at the Carlisle Room, and I can’t recommend the experience enough. Jennifer, the event coordinator, made the entire experience easy and seamless. The catering team was amazing. We had a seated, plated dinner, and our guests had many wonderful things to say about the food and the staff. The drinks were amazing, and it was easy to request the exact signature drinks we wanted! The space itself is beautiful and speaks for itself. It’s tough to find such a spacious venue with a perfect location in the heart of Dallas. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience on our wedding day!

The Carlisle room is an amazing and elegant wedding venue near the middle of Downtown Dallas. The Reception is great and provides an amazing setting for someone looking for that classic gorgeous look for their wedding. As a photographer I do want to let you know that the ceremony space below the reception area, while still gorgeous, is rather dark. I don't say this to deter anyone from booking this amazing venue but to tell them to make sure to hire a photographer who they believe can handle it if those pictures are something important to you. The venue is also within easy walking distance of the Statler, which is a perfect location for getting ready.

We recently had our wedding at The Carlisle Room and it was spectacular! The venue itself is gorgeous and so unique compared to other venues in Dallas. We loved that it has a separate ceremony space and reception space so we could do both in one place but not have to flip the room. It has so much classic charm, so you don't have to spend as much on decor to make the space beautiful. They were flexible with our requests, and did not nickel and dime us for every little request or change, which we really appreciated! Jennifer, the venue coordinator, was great to work with and always quick to respond to any of our questions throughout the planning process. The food was delicious and so many of our guests continue to rave about the food. And the bar manager, Matthew, was so fun to work with on our cocktails. He helped us craft our specialty cocktails and went the extra mile to customize them for us. We loved that it is close to many hotel options so our guests could stay nearby and we didn't even have to arrange transportation because they just walked 1 block from the hotel. I would absolutely recommend this venue for your wedding! The entire team made the planning process easy and the day went perfectly!

Wow your guests with The Carlisle Room. It's simply stunning with the pillars, high ceilings, and details of the entire place. There's a nice variety of photo spots both inside and outside the venue that you'll love, especially if you want a downtown feel. We were told the ceremony room totally surprised guests as well with its beauty and uniqueness. Although it's tempting to do a classic black and white at this venue, I promise having color makes the whole place even more extravagant. Jennifer and the team are extremely helpful and want to make your day perfect. We felt the cost of the venue was reasonable compared to other locations in Dallas. Where it gets a bit more expensive is Beyond the Box catering who you are required to use, but honestly it was worth every penny. Several food and drink packages with flexibility regardless of if you go with buffet, plated, action stations, etc. Multiple gluten-free options. We were told it was the best wedding food some of our guests had ever had! As a couple who goes to 5-8 weddings a year, we absolutely agreed. Everyone wants to hear that and experience that, haha!! We knew at the taste testing that no matter what we selected, it was guaranteed to be delicious. Would highly recommend booking The Carlisle Room for your big day.

We had our ceremony and wedding reception at the Carlisle Room and IT WAS A DREAM! When I say this place gives the WOW factor, it really does take your breath away. You don't need that many decorations which is great because the venue is so gorgeous on its own. Also not to mention their in house catering and bar was top tier! Some of the best cocktails I've had in a long time as well as their food was amazing. Usually "wedding food" is sub par, not theirs..So yummy! Lastly the manager/coordinator of the venue, Jennifer Moore, was so on top of it and very helpful with everything! She was great and I can't thank her enough for everything she did.

Talk about an amazing wedding venue! I cannot say enough wonderful things about this place! My experience was perfect. Jennifer the venue coordinator and boss lady was incredible, she was easy to contact, responded quickly, knowledgeable and accommodating. The wait/bar/venue staff incredible kind and efficient. The venue in itself is STUNNING! I got so many guest compliments of the ceremony and reception room, the food and the overall vibe. And let’s just say this place is incredibly affordable for location and ambience. A++ I would get married over and over again here (obviously to my husband!)

Wedding ended up being gorgeous but the onsite manager, Jenny I believe, needs to work on customer service skills. Very very rude and condescending when feedback was just being offered post wedding. Apparently this head table is appropriate in their eyes…. Thank god we fixed it ourselves. Lack of detail and quality is not priority clearly. Additionally, when Jenny says the venue will be “fully set up”, she means just tables and chairs, not chargers/napkins so when you want to put out decorations, you will be guessing spatially. They’ll be setting up under 1 hour before ceremony as guests are arriving (also unaware of what napkin fold was selected per planning meetings). Again, customer service goes a very long way, this review would not have been written if it wasn’t for the huge attitude received on the phone.
