The Carlisle Room is a wonderful venue. I recently hosted The Dallas Cotillion Club's Annual Charity Gala, benefitting Genesis Women's Shelter, at this venue. The venue fit the theme, A Night in Old Hollywood, perfectly. The Room is beautiful, with historic charm and Art Deco architecture. Further, the Room recently underwent a major restoration project, where all of the gold paint and accents were retouched. The room photographed unbelievably well and had the ability to accommodate all of the guests while maintaining an intimate atmosphere, unlike so many of the generic ballrooms I've been to for other charity galas.
The Carlisle Room staff is spectacular. I was able to enter the venue at 12 pm on the day of my event, leaving me plenty of time to set up. Further, all of the tables, chairs (ability to upgrade certain items, such as dining chairs - I chose to upgrade to the gold chivari chairs) and linens were set up perfectly by 12 pm. The venue coordinator had made my customized floor plan two weeks prior, which allowed for flawless event set-up execution. There was staff on site the entire day and evening, available for questions and last-minute needs!!
Beyond the Box is the corresponding caterer for the venue and the food was fantastic!! We served roasted chicken, with a salad to start. The food and drink menus were extensive, allowing me to choose from several options. I was also able to order a late night snack, fried chicken sliders, for my guests to be served at 10:15 pm; how tasty and fun! I would certainly recommend the Carlisle Room for special events.
