Following Hurricane Beryl, Houston Restaurants Work to Recoup | Eater Houston
"I noticed the Pasadena carniceria where Elizondo sources a specific chorizo was empty after much of its product spoiled, directly affecting Cochinita & Co.’s menu and highlighting ripple effects through the supply chain." - Brittany Britto Garley
I had no idea this place served food until recently. Went in to try their breakfast plate. Food is good and reasonably priced. Their corn tortillas are homemade and delicious! Service was quick and friendly. Would definitely go back.

I ordered for pick up, the tortilla is handmade and meat was delicious. I would recommend giving this place a try!

Ate here this week. It's a small taqueria and meat market in one building. No waiters, you place the order with the workers working the kitchen and then pay at the register on the grocery side. There is a seating area as well. The food is good and the service was quick, I would recommend it.

Lived down the street for years, never knew of this place. Found out recently. Great selection of meats as the name suggests. Good quick stop for odds and ends. The food is what sold me on this place. I love a good plate of pastore tacos, and this place hits the spot!

Best barbacoa on Sundays but you gotta go by 10am before they run out! Great fresh chicharones, ready and big avacados but you have to ask for them when you're checking out, and great meat for grilling.
