The Cellar Bar

This is a great neighborhood hangout bar. Excellent beer selection. The wait staff was friendly, attentive, and efficient. It's for an old school pub vibe. Wood-top tables, darts and foosball-- good music, but not played so loudly that you can't carry on a conversation. Parking is a little sparse, but that makes sense for the location.

Been coming here for 3 years now, have never NOT had a good night! Bar staff is friendly and welcoming along with all bar goers! Perfect place to have a calm night at your local watering hole! Ask for Bree, she is amazing and one of my best friends!

Cellar is a perfect bar if you want to hangout and spend good Time with your friends. They have friendly staff, Best draft beers options Quick service and nice ambience. Daily they have different offers For example on Friday free games and Saturday is the best time to visit. I visit this bar every week and enjoy every bit of it.

This is a great “Hole in the wall” bar. The atmosphere is lowlight, the drinks are delicious and affordable. The volume is great for talking to people and the bartenders go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. I’ve never had a bad time at this very diverse bar. Highly recommend. Also the bartender Steph will always give you a warm welcome!

Dangerous place there was an altercation guy went to his car pulled out a gun and started waving it around. He didn't use it thankfully but management and staff didn't do anything or call police after it happened. It was my 3rd time here and a lot of regulars let me know that stuff like that was pretty common and just to expect it. I'm good I'll take my business elsewhere, where management and ownership care about customer safety

I give one star for the drink prices. Me and my friend went there yesterday after work for their happy hour. Again the drink prices are good during happy hour however, the bartender was not friendly. He wasn't rude but, he wasn't friendly. Also, before I got there, one of the patrons trucks had been broken into. I don't know how long they were there; Me and my friend were there for an hour and the police never came...which is no surprise when it comes to HPD. There's no windows in the bar so, you can't look out to see your vehicle in the parking lot.

What a discovery! We came here on a Friday for happy hour (2-7pm) and had a blast! Drinks are cheap. All games are free - huge variety. And just good vibes! Will def come back!

This place was great and I use to like coming to the neighborhood bar a lot but lately, it's gone downhill. Some games don't even work, bathroom is disgusting, bar tenders don't pay attention to new customers and one group always has a hold of the pool table. Its like their name is on it forever, they own it and no one else can play. Pathetic. If you just want some drinks and nothing else I guess it's cool.

Cellar Bar was a regular stop for us when we lived in the neighborhood. Always a welcoming atmosphere, great staff, and awesome drinks. We moved into the burbs and had not made it here in about a year and a half. It still felt like home from the moment we walked in. Make sure to pop in. You will not be disappointed.

I think this is a good place to come to after you get off work, and if you're just trying to day drink and chill with some friends. I work about 2 blocks away, and if I'm feeling it I'll come by and see about having a night cap. They have a few choices (not many) of draft beers, tons of mixed drinks, games to play, tables to chill at, and lots of good tunes to play on their jukebox. I usually just have a bottle of something or a small pint of a cool draft beer. Sometimes I'll feel the need for a green tea shot, but that's only once in a blue moon. Either way, there will be a special on drinks, and they have a good happy hour. The games around the area are fun from basketball to pool to the punch bag game. They even have a free game night as long as you purchase at least one drink. I always liked playing the basketball game against friends. Try it out! Parking outside is a little scarce, as the lot isn't that big. However if it is a slow night you won't have any problem having a space. That's the only flaw in the place, but it's a minor one at the end of the day. No food in the bar, but you're welcome to bring in your stuff, or have it delivered to the bar. Come on by and have a drink after work, or on a day off. You won't be sorry. Only reason it's not 5 stars is the aforementioned parking situation and the limited number of draft beers.

I live around the corner from this place and can't believe I have never been here. We stopped in for a few drinks. Customer service was amazing. They have videos games, ping pong tables etc for entertainment. Overall, great vibes. Definitely will be back.

Randomly driving looking for some place to go after my original Thanksgiving plans completely fell apart, saw their OPEN sign and fell into a nice little neighborhood bar. Oscar was great and fixed the perfect vodka 7...and cooked the perfect frozen pizza. The atmosphere was perfect and the people nice. It's on my list of "to go" places.

Loved this place. Chill and good for people in their late 20s - 30s. They had a dart board, a decent sized patio, and the tables were lit with candles. It's the small things, but it made the setting a bit more intimate. Drinks were made perfectly good. Service was quick too!

Great bartender! A killer spicy margarita and nice atmosphere. We really enjoyed our evening with friends.

Great vibe- Great drinks- Great happy hour! We stopped in on a Friday. Evidently, Friday's are free games- my husband and I are not ones to typically play games at a bar but we had an absolute blast and played games for several hours! We will definitely be going back.

TCB was a nice neighborhood bar. On the evening I went, it seemed a lot of "in the industry " types were there and so it struck me as a IYKYK kinda place. I enjoyed the smartphone linked jukebox, playing darts, and the laid back, divey ambiance. For a pick me up, I had a Java drip cocktail, a cousin of the espresso martini which was quite good. 4*'s for this plain, unassuming retreat in H-Town

Love it here! Been coming here with friends for a couple years now and always get great service. Friendly staff, ask for Oscar, Jay, Angelique, and/or Issac. The crafted cocktail menu changes seasonally and always fun to try to mix up my usual order with one of their new items. Thanks y'all will be back.

This is the place to be. Great friendly service and prices. Great drinks and chill vibe. Happy hour everyday from 2 to 7pm. Oscar is the bomb! And the best part - they are dog friendly. So you can bring your best friend and enjoy your drinks!

Ok bar - basic drinks, dive bar vibes, and courteous staff. Nothing fancy about this place, just a casual and low key bar. Landed here after a nice dinner out, and didn't know what to expect. Ended up catching a night cap, sharing a few last minute laughs. I probably wouldn't come back, because I prefer the speciality cocktail spots but not a bad option for the casual night out.

We moved into the neighborhood several years back and stumbled upon this hidden gem. This place is awesome and has a really legit local craft beer selection. Also the weekly specials are . Fridays all the games are free and they have pool..hoops..punch bag..pacman jumbo..darts..just a good time. Draft beers are COLD and the can selection is legit! If you are hungry and smell food while you are there, they have a pizza oven behind the bar and it's good stuff. They have plenty of TVs for all your sports needs. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable...Just don't wave a dollar bill while whistling to get the bartenders attention...(you will be waiting a loooong time). Good times! Oscar and the boys Rock!

I have been a patriot of this place for a couple of years. Recently, I had the most pleasant experience. Sitting with a couple of friends watching the college, World Series baseball game for a couple of hours. Then the bar back/bouncer walked in, and without any consideration, for anyone change the game. After a few minutes, I asked him what the score was on the game we had been watching. His response was. " being a "smart ass" is not a way to get him to turn the channel. After being insulted for having my game interrupted I quietly finished my cocktail cashed out and left a tip for the bartender. Only to never return again. It is absolutely pathetic when a patriot has to be concerned about interrupting the bar backs TV Time !!!

I really enjoyed it here! We came for my friends birthday and just played pool and beer pong. I got weary before entering because the outside is very plain and boring. It's a very nice establishment inside. There are 3 separate areas, one for just dining& a bar.. one for games and the other is pool and BP. I met some new faces and had a wonderful time. We all did. We went to about 3 places before I found this place. The business owner replied so fast and I decided to try it out. It was a great experience and I will be back. Ping pong and billiards was $11 an hour, but they were generous with the time, they didn't come nagging right at 1 hour since nobody else was waiting for ours. I loved that they had a very wide selection of drinks, they also had some great food! I was having too much fun to take photos. Highly recommend :) One ping pong table and 3-4 pool tables My drink of choice was a small glass of champagne for $9 which is a little pricey but i was happy they had my favorite drink.

It's a nice little dive bar. Nothing too fancy but the drinks are delicious and the staff is friendly. They have a drink menu that features drinks created by the staff which I thought was a great idea! They have a pool table and pinball machine. Plenty of seating inside and on the outside patio.

I am a regular at this bar and I have always received the best service, but lately it just seems better and better. Jay, Oscar and Angelique always provide a welcoming and fun environment for everyone. I love coming here!

Cellar Bar!! I nice little hang out spot if you want to get out the house and hang with a few friends. I had to pick up my cousin from the airport one night and on the way home we decided to stop here to have a couple drinks. Best decision we made. The drinks were so good and the atmosphere was chill, plus it was a beautiful night, and the weather was perfect. The bartenders were very nice and informative about the drinks on the menu. The drink prices are pretty average I would say. The 'Pear Necessities' is really good. There's a super limited food list, just a heads up. My cousin ordered their pepperoni pizza. Honestly, it taste just like a pep Digiorno pizza. It was okay. Hopefully, they'll think about expanding their food menu in the future. However, in the mean time go and enjoy the good drinks and atmosphere. There's an outside patio to hang out on, or hang out inside at a table or the bar. Games are available to play as well.

Horrible service. Went to have a drink with my daughter who is of age to drink. I was the only one who order and when she asked to have a sip of my drink to try it out at first, one of the bartender snatch it out of her hand. That was extremely rude and had my drink taken away before I could try it myself. We left speechless and embarrassed for what we had experienced. Don't recommend this place to anybody.

Just a nice casual bar. Not ideal for a first date because the music is a little loud. They have games like darts, pool, and a punching machine. They have an outdoor patio and a good amount of TVs inside. I would come back to here to watch a game. Their cocktails description sounds delicious and they have HAPPY HOUR Monday-Saturday from 3PM-8PM and ALL DAY Sunday. When we went to close out we noticed a sign that said $10 minimum on debit/credit card. Me and my friend only got a beer each but they didn't mention anything when they ran our cards.

I wish I could give 6 stars. Oscar was unbelievable. Bar was amazing. Learned so much about beers. Figured out what I really liked. I didnt know stouts we're actually good past my morning breakfast. Let me tell ya, if Oscar was my bartender in Phoenix I legitimately I would come there all the time. This mofo helped me feel okay in my shoes. I legit feel so much comfortable about myself after he helped me get thru my mental breakdown. This guy is my jesus to my daily life. If I didn't meet him I may be lost

Cellar bar in one of the best local, feel good, friendly bars in Houston. It has a grungy yet welcoming vibe with delicious cocktails and great happy hour and gaming options. The bartender, Noah, is amazing and can create amazing cocktails based off of your palette. It's the of bar where you walk in knowing no one and leave being friends with everyone. If your are looking for a chill, no frills vibe, this is your new home.

I checked out The Cellar Bar for a company happy hour on a Friday. They have a small parking lot so I wasn't able to find a spot but there is street parking close by. The Cellar Bar is a no-frills, laid back, neighborhood bar and there's nothing wrong with that. They have a small patio and the indoor area has some seating and a pool table. They do have food too. While it's not a big menu, it mostly focuses on pizza. I didn't have any food while I was there so I can't comment on that. Service was good and the bartenders are attentive. They ask you if you'd like to go from a single to a double if you're ordering a mixed drink which is always a good thing. Added bonus: happy hour until 6 PM with discounts on well drinks, beer, and food.

This is not an upscale bar just a good ole fashioned dive. They have TV's all around and the staff are nice and friendly. They have HH everday and all day on Sunday. Its a few wines for 5 and well drinks for 5 also. All and all a good place to grab a drink for a cheap price

This bar won me over when they shared you could have pets INSIDE! I tend to veer away from going anywhere my dog can't go and with this Houston heat, I am seriously grateful the cellar allows me and my baby to go indoors! The atmosphere is very chilled and laid back, and the bartenders were VERY friendly. I really like this place! The only thing I wish they had was a kitchen, they do serve frozen pizzas and such which is thoughtful, but if they had a kitchen, it would REALLY be a hit!

What a great bar! Gotta say, as a bartender, the staff at the bar has not only taken care of me, but are genuine real ass peeps. Oscar, Angelique, Juan, Lee, the whole group. You guys put another stamp on the map of bars to go to. Love you guys, keep up the great camaraderie and relations and keep keepin it real.

Great little dive bar. Ton of seating and games. Pool table, Wi Games, and a dart board. Jameson Shots - $6.75 - not a bad price. Good place if you want to play some games and get cheap drinks.

I frequented this bar plenty being in the area. But when i was threatened to get jumped and robbed for my property by a patron. The bar tenders wanted to scream and yell at me to get out even though i was defending my self. They dont care if you being threatened, only when you can defend yourself because i am a grown man. Thats when I become problem for them. Maybe the bartenders were in on the attempted robbery, and why their attitude towards me changed from we best friends to get out right now. Its cool, i got all my stuff. Nobod COULD take anything from me if they even tried. Maybe thats why they were mad. But they sell digiorno pizza which the same mark tender told me they did. Which i dont even know if its legal to sell a retail product as their own because they dont advertise it as digiorno. Definitey a 1 star review. Trash service, fairweather bartenders. Condoning criminal behavior but if a man defends himself its "aggression" . Its because if the same thing were said to these pasadena pearland lol scrub town bartenders they would give it all up. Even their girls. Just take em all. Terrified. .

Lee is flippin rad. From the time we ordered drinks until we left, his service was EXCELLENT. Very attentive and funny. Even after telling him numerous times that I liked my drink, he knew better n offered to make me something else. The replacement was an absolutely delightful citrus martini! Will definitely be back.

This is my local bar down the street from my apartment. I've been frequenting this place since I moved to Houston in 2014. The people here and bartenders are great and it has a real down to earth atmosphere here. Lee, Juan, Angelique, and Oscar are awesome bartenders.

The boyfriend and I came here to watch the NBA finals. The great thing is there are plenty of tvs all around. They have multiple games on at one time so if you don't want to watch basketball there was baseball. Service was super friendly and attentive. All the bartenders made sure we were okay and made rounds to check on us. Overall, it was quiet and not too rowdy there. It was a great ambiance to watch the game and relax.

Cool little dive bar with Huntil 8pm. The bar tenders were wicked nice and attentive; they knew what I was drinking after my first order! I'm giving 3 stars because the wine list is very small and limited and every time I ordered a draft beer it was "chilled" but not cold like you expect. Updated my review because the owner responded and explained the "chilled" draft beer comment I made. Thanks for the really sweet offer to get my first round next time I visit! Talk about great customer service! I'll def be back soon! Thank you!!

The bartenders are hilarious. There is a special drink menu book, not just the normal list, with lots of cool cocktails. If you show up please don't sing karaoke, thanks.

Cute little dive bar, deceivingly spacious once you walk in, bartender is great HH everyday 3-8 (15-20) and all day sunday. Ive been here almosr 10 yrs and never stopped in til today. Will definitely be back
