Westfield Century City (or just "Century City", as the locals call it) is a huge outdoor mall that has EVERYTHING you could possibly want or need. They have a Macys and Bloomingdales AND a Nordstrom on site. There's a lovely AMC theater on the top level. Free wifi for mall guests.
The middle of the mall has lots of tables and chairs to hang out and sit. Sometimes they have performances or special events in this spot.
There are over 200 stores in this mega mall. Obviously, there are way too many to list in a Yelp review. However, I will say there is a good mix of luxury stores and affordable shops here. Some popular brands in the mall include Zara, J. Crew, Lululemon, Kate Spade, Anthropologie, Gap, Michael Kors, Zadig & Voltaire, Swarovski, Kendra Scott, Sephora, and Kiehls.
This mall also has toy stores as well. They currently have an American Girl pop up on the bottom level. Squishable, a stuffed toy store, is on the second level and has a super cute selection.
Dining options in the mall are plentiful. The website currently lists 60 options. There are way too many restaurants to mention here so I will only highlight a few.
For families, I suggest California Pizza Kitchen. I also suggest the upstairs food court for families who can't agree on what to eat or want fast dining options that won't break the bank. Both choices are on the second floor.
For date night, I suggest Javier's which has a romantic, upscale vibe but, do note, it's not very vegetarian friendly. It's a good place to grab some drinks though. Toscanova is also great because you really can't go wrong with classic Italian fare. For a casual vegan/vegetarian friendly option I suggest Tocaya, a Mexican restaurant, which is also in close proximity to the movie theaters which is definitely a plus when you are doing dinner and a movie.
Snack/dessert options are plentiful as well. I highly suggest Bacio di Latte for ice cream, See's Candies for chocolates, and Auntie Anne's Pretzels for a more savory treat. There's also a Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf across from See's.
Need some groceries? No problem at all. Gelson's is on the very bottom floor. If you are looking for something more fancy, I suggest Eataly, an Italian marketplace, which is on the opposite side of the mall on the top floor.
Technology Buff? Tesla and the Apple Store are here for your amusement.
Looking to rescue a furry family member? Why, yes! They've got that too. Although, I believe you have to make an appointment first. Check out Love & Leashes. You can pick up some pet food at Healthy Spot.
There are two things I do not like about this mall. I don't like how the parking lot is configured. It's very confusing and I almost always get lost inside trying to park next to where I am going. It can get busy and crowded in the underground lot and it is just not a fun prelude to the mall experience.
Another thing that is frustrating is that it took me a very long time to learn to navigate this mall. Due to the size of the mall, I can definitely see first time visitors getting lost. So, plan ahead and definitely look for a landmark or store you parked next to so you can find your car.
Overall, I do think that this mall is worth a visit. You will probably not get to all the shops and stores in one day so you may want to make a game plan before shopping here. There literally is something for everyone here and so much to do to keep you entertained.
