The Chandler team was wonderful to work with! They were prompt, organized, and made the experience so fun! My wedding guests really enjoyed the on location experience. Adam is full of charisma and took the experience to the next level, Daniel was an excellent coordinator with great communication! I can’t wait to have them for other events!

Decided to do something different for Valentine's Day this year, so I book a private candle making session for myself and my daughters. Turns out they really enjoyed themselves and stated they'd like to do it again. Adam was our Chandler and was very welcoming as well as knowledgeable. An experience worth having!

My kids and I love The Chandler! Friendly and courteous staff, who make the candle making process fun and exciting. An endless supply of scents and fragrances to make the most unique, smelling candles. Fun for all ages. A great indoor activity for the family. If you're in GROVE CITY… I highly recommend!

had a wonderful time today making candles! my sisters got my boyfriend and i a gift card here so we decided to give it a try and we had the best time. My boyfriend made a country pantry candle and I made a lavender one, smells so good and great experience. Would recommend 😊

Disappointing experience. The workshop seemed very disorganized. We were told to come pick up our candles 2 hours later. We picked them up and when we got back, noticed that the wicks had sunken down to where we cannot use the candles despite the instructor saying they would “handle it”. Total waste of money.

Be sure to use a centering stick for the wick to hold it in place and insist on it. The gentleman who helped my daughter said it wasn't needed and he would correct the leaning wick after we left as it would take a while to cure. It looked kind of centered when we picked it up the next day. But as it burned down it cleared bowed to the side from not being sat straight up and tight. Very disappointed considering the price. And my daughter is now disappointed in the gift she made for her mother. Only a second star as it smells decent.

A wonderful location for my daughter's 24th birthday party. Following her first visit, she decided "That's the place! That is where I want to have my birthday party!". Family and friends gathered for an creative adventure at The Chandler. We got a lesson in picking complimentary scents, how to make candles, when to add the color and why. It was so much fun and we had the opportunity to bring wine and glasses to enjoy the experience. Thanks to the owner, Zack, for a great Sunday afternoon!

Attended a private birthday party for an 8 year old and it was fabulous. The gentleman was so sweet and patient with the girls as they discovered their likes and dislikes. They loved the process and watching their creation come to life. It was wonderful and my daughter is already asking to go back.

Update... another very good time at The Chandler. I mistakenly booked myself for next week but there I was, ready to roll, and my walk in was happily and graciously accepted. Right now, the shop Is decorated for the upcoming Alice in Wonderland event. Special fragrance blends have been created and let me tell you they are mysterious, magical and wonderful! I made two candles and used the event fragrances for the main ingredient in both. I cannot wait to pick them up. They have to cool off overnight fyi.

I heard about this new DIY candle making store called The Chandler through a post on social media. I love scented candles and just happened to be in nearby Columbus for the day...talk about perfect timing! I like to support small businesses so I made my way over just a few hours later. It's a cute little shop located in historic Grove City's Town Center. They offer both ready made scented candles and diy candles. If you choose the diy candle route there's a few simple steps in the process. You'll begin by going through the store sampling the over 100 unique assortment of candle scents until u find a few(up to 5) that you love and write down the names of those fragrances on the provided clipboard. You can even mix scents if you find some that you think will work well together. Up to 3 can be mixed but the possibilities are endless! After that you will choose a glass container for your candle. You have a choice of 1, 2, or 3 wick containers, 9oz up to 14oz in size, and a choice of 9 different colors to add to your new candle. After that the only thing left to do is head over to the fragrance bar and start making your very own uniquely scented masterpiece. The fragrance oils are brought out in cute repurposed wine and liqour bottles. You simply mix a measured amount of scented oil with the wax and slowly add in your chosen color. Lastly once your candle is poured you choose a label. You can choose a ready-made one or create your own. Now your work is done! The candle just needs to set. Ready in 90 mins, it gives you just enough time to make an evening out of the experience. The shop is located in a downtown location with plenty of shops and restaurants nearby making it easy to shop around or have lunch/dinner and cocktails while your candle cools and sets. This place is perfect for all types of occasions(BYOB). A fun girls night out, birthday party, date night, or bridal party get together just to name a few. *Note: This experience occurred a couple of months before the covid 19 shutdown.

We went here for a girl's night out. The experience was immaculate, the owner was amazing!! We will be back and sincerely recommend supporting this shop.

A few gal-pals hosted an event here at The Chandler a while ago, and I'm so glad we did! This DIY candle store is located on the main Broadway drag and within walking distance of everything in the historic downtown of Grove city. Parking is easily accessible behind the building or on-street. The shop itself is cozy and warm and of course, smells wonderful! The process was like a standard candle making shop-- You smell some candles, pick out some favorite scents, mix and match, and then the magic begins. The only possible critique I could give would be to have multiple bottles of fragrances available for their group sessions. Our group had ladies who were using the same scents, so we were passing bottles around, which could be prone to spilling. Once your scents are added into whichever sized container you choose, then comes the wax, and then some stirring, then BOOM.... well, more like a delayed BOOM, because your candle still has to cool, but you'll have yourself a new delightful scent to show off to family and friends. The prices are extremely reasonable, and the folks here were SUPER accommodating and helpful. This is a nice little addition to the main grove city corridor, and within walking distance to so many fabulous eateries and coffee shops while you wait to pick up your new DIY candle. It was fun! I'd definitely go again!

Fantastic and engaging experience! Personable and knowledgeable staff! Great quality products! Highly recommend. My friends and I were greeted warmly and guided efficiently and pleasantly through the candle making process from scent selection to wax pouring. We never felt rushed and had an amazing time. We will most certainly be back!
