Christmas night at the Charcoal Room — and I’m so glad we made reservations. I arrived a little early and could already hear conversations about long wait times for walk-ins. I grabbed a seat at the bar and enjoyed a drink while waiting for my fellow “crazy Hawaiian” to arrive. The place was buzzing — it was Christmas, after all, and steak was clearly the popular choice. I’ve been to this location a few times, and the food has always been consistently good. I even overheard that one of their holiday steak specials had sold out, so they pivoted to offering a tomahawk steak instead — not a bad substitute at all. Once my friend and her son arrived, we were seated and welcomed by Jessica, our server, who was warm, friendly, and on top of everything. We started with the seafood platter and a wedge salad. The breadbasket was a highlight as always — pretzel bread and cinnamon raisin bread with butter are my personal favorites. The wedge salad was excellent, loaded with bleu cheese crumbles and bacon. My friend and her son really enjoyed the seafood platter as well. For the main event, we shared the tomahawk steak with frites and mac & cheese. The steak was cooked and seasoned perfectly, right at the ideal temperature. The mac & cheese was rich and delicious, complete with that satisfying cheese pull, and the frites were crispy and well seasoned. Service throughout the night was great — the staff worked seamlessly as a team clearing plates, delivering dishes, and keeping things moving despite how busy it was. The overall vibe felt festive and family-friendly. A wonderful Christmas dinner experience. Happy holidays to the staff, and Merry Christmas to all! 🎄✨

Looking for a Great Steak. This place was an A+. My husband and I shared the Bone In Rib Eye with some excellent tasting cilantro butter gravy sauce, mashed potatoes were also good, and the sautéed asparagus was on point with flavor. It was plenty for a party of 2. The complimentary bread was good. The Seafood Jackpot as an appetizer was just ok. The Lobster Bisque was alright. The cheesecake was not one of the best tasting. I've had better, but we didn't go for the dessert more for the Steak. Our server Rick was great. The atmosphere was mellow and enjoyable for a couples night out for dinner. I would definitely come back again for the Steak.

Most people sleep on the Charcoal Room at Palace Station, and I can't understand why. This is one of our favorite Stations Casinos restaurants, and we love to spend our players club points here. It's a restaurant with a nice atmosphere, terrific service, good prices, and great food. What's not to love about that? We dine here a few times a year (and have been coming for years), and we've never had a bad or disappointing meal. On holidays, they sometimes have special menus, and they accept reservations through Open Table. The décor is what I'd call "modern old school Vegas." The walls are lined with curved, red booths, and it's contemporary yet comfortable. Since this is a local's casino restaurant, the dress code is "come as you are." I've seen everything from shorts and baseball hats to fancy suits and dresses. You will be comfortable in whatever attire you choose. (I normally wear a nice top and jeans and feel perfectly dressed). The menu is limited but filled with great choices. I don't eat red meat, and I usually opt for the salmon. It's tasty and well-prepared, and I've always been happy with that dish. Hubby gets the steak and raves about it, especially in relation to the price and quality. Other items that I love are the new mashed yams (they are topped with a gigantic homemade marshmallow!), the macaroni and cheese (you can never go wrong with noodles and cheese), and the shrimp cocktail (so fresh and one of the best things on the menu). The special steak sauces are tasty too, and the complimentary bread basket is one of my favorites (pretzel rolls for the win)! The service here is professional and prompt, and it rivals some of the finer and more expensive Strip steak houses. The difference is, the Charcoal Room isn't stuffy. Friendly and welcoming, the servers go out of their way to make your experience a nice one. If you haven't been here in years, give the place a try. It's a gem that caters to locals, and is the perfect spot for a nice evening out.

BEST VODKA TONIC!!! We came here for their date night special. I wish I would have taken a picture of the rest our meal. It was very tasty. TheCesar salad was very well done. Our shares steak was cooked correctly and served with roasted baby potatoes and vegetables. We chose a bottle of wine that wasn’t expensive but tasty. The cream brûlée was so creamy. This was our pre wedding dinner. $130 for two for the food was a great price and well worth it. Another place in Vegas that we will go back to.

A perfect compliment to Palace Station. It matches both the casino in presentation, quality, and operation. Or translated, its nothing special, but its still a steak house in a casino and better than Outback or Texas Roadhouse. My steak was great, blue cheese crust was a good compliment. Drinks were solid, though the bartender was a little slow considering bar only sits 6x people. Had the sweet pototoes which were great, and dessert was an average creme brulee. Will go back but I know it won't exactly leave me speechless, but will leave me feeling satisfied. Worth checking out if you don't want to deal with the Oyster bar line or have some time to kill from the good games on the casino floor. Never had a wait and always easy parking too.

We were invited here by friends and had high expectations. We made reservations and waited about 15 minutes past the time. It's a wonderful, warm, and lively atmosphere. The waitstaff was friendly and very helpful. They were on top of all drink refills eat. It was a good price for a steakhouse in Vegas, even if it is quite far from the strip. There was a good assortment of breads, both sweet and savory. Our steaks were good, but my husband's lobster, while it looked and great, had no flavor, and my shrimp scampi was a bit over cooked and had a bit of a strange flavor to it. Desert was great. I might try it again if we were on that side of town, but it's not enough to draw us that far away from the strip

I’m so glad I got comped to go to the charcoal room, and it was NOT GOOD AT ALL. We got the Seafood Jackpot because the steak and lobster special they ran out of conveniently…which I think is a bunch of bull because the seafood jackpot had lobster! The shrimp that came with it was the most unflavored disgusting shrimp I’ve ever eaten and the lobster was very small. Although it was, a nice restaurant with a great atmosphere., we left hungry. How sad is that? I

Fantastic overall. Great prices for a luxury meal. From the bread basket to the bisque and steak and lobster, everything was cooked perfectly and delicious. Hard to beat the flavor and quality at the price ... better than many places that charge more. The brussel sprouts were also very good.

Phenomenal steakhouse inside the Palace Station. I've been to many of the top rated steakhouses in Vegas and this one is definitely one of my favorites. To start out, our server Joe (who was excellent) brought us out a basket of three different kinds of bread and butter (not pictured). One was raisin, another was pretzel, and I can't remember the third but they were all tasty. The pretzel bread was both of our favorites. For drinks (not pictured), my wife ordered a glass of prosecco and I ordered a Bee's Knees. The Bee's Knees was not on the drink menu anymore, as it was a former special they had. However, the bartender (did not get his name, he worked Sunday 1/5 at around 6:30pm) made the extra effort to make the honey syrup so I could have it, which I really appreciate. The drinks were great. For appetizers, my wife and I got the Calamari, which came with two sauces: One was a kind of spicy marinara and the other was similar to a tartar sauce. Many reviewers have raved about the calamari here as being one of the best in town, and I'm glad I decided to try it. It was delicious. For entrees, my wife ordered the petit filet mignon, which came out perfectly cooked medium and was really tasty. For myself, I ordered the current special they have going on, which was a 10oz Australian wagyu sirloin cap. It was only $50 (Charcoal Room is tremendous value compared to many other steakhouses in Vegas, especially the Strip) and let me say it was one of the best steaks I have ever had. Absolutely delectable flavor and texture, and cooked to a perfect medium rare. I'm not sure how long they will have this steak, but get it if you can, it was absolutely delicious. For sides, we shared the steamed asparagus, which is a go-to at steakhouses for us. Easily large enough to share. Finally, for dessert, we ordered the crème brûlée (not pictured), which was a great end to an excellent meal. My only suggestion is maybe they keep the entrance door closed, as the casino noise was not extremely loud but did take just a little bit away from the sophisticated fine-ding atmosphere. However, it was not unbearable by any means, and this is just personal preference. Overall, this steakhouse has great value, delicious food, and excellent service (again, shout out to our server Joe, the bartender and everyone else who checked in on us during our meal to make sure everything was great). I absolutely loved it here. The Station Casinos are some of the only establishments in town where true Vegas value still remains. Thank you Charcoal Room for an absolutely memorable meal!!

Nice gem of a steakhouse in the Palace Station. We went on 10/26/25. Ambience - old school steakhouse feel with a touch of modern. Not overly big but not loud either. Service - never had an issue. Kimberly was nice, attentive, and patient with us. Just the right amount of keeping an eye on us without being too attentive. Food - all (5) of us enjoyed our steaks (2 filets, 3 porterhouses), all cooked prefect to our request, one enjoyed his salmon. Sides were all good. Price - not cheap ($50-$60 before sides and drinks) but not strip prices either. Will be back for sure.

We have been here before the pandemic, so it was high time we got back. We were having a staycation at Palace Station and it was nice to not to leave premise and get a great dining experience. We arrived at 5 pm and we were the first ones there. The bar has a happy hour and a few more patrons came in. They put us in a nice booth in the back...I thought that was really nice as it was farthest from the casino floor and deep into the restaurant. We decided to get some beers, so I ordered an IPA and Hub got a Stella Artois. Not really feeling steak, I decided on the Salmon entree and hub liked the Fried Chicken and sage gravy option. We added a side of mashed potatoes to share that would work well with the entrees. The waiter asked if I would like my salmon pan seared or Blackened..I went with the later and it was amazing! Hub really liked his chicken, but beware...this thing is huge and shareable if you choose to do so. The potatoes were REALLY good, very creamy and buttery. The prices are quite good. The atmosphere is old school with great music and I would love to get the server we got again, because he was simply amazing!!

The Charcoal Room at Palace Station had me hooked on my first visit -- that steak was so good I was ready to write love letters to it. Perfectly cooked, juicy, and seasoned like it had something to prove. Then came round two, and... let's just say the spark was gone. The steak tasted like it knew we'd met before and wasn't trying to impress me this time. Service was fine, but the magic had left the building. On the bright side, if you go during the week, it's nice and quiet -- no crowds, no wait, just you and your hopes for a better steak. When they're on, it's great. When they're not... it's still Vegas, grab a drink and roll the dice.

We loved The Charcoal room! We came in 8/17 birthday dinner. We enjoyed there steaks and surf and turf options. We love the ambiance of the red couches and had an amazing service. Jaime our waiter was very attentive and on point and professional. We love coming here when we are in town and this was our 4th time we've came and enjoyed all of them!

We had reservations for Valentine's Day! The first impression is when our reservation time came up, I received a text asking if I was on my way. Very nice touch! I felt that the lighting was not balanced as one half of the restaurant was brighter than the other. My fiancé and I started with cocktails. I ordered a Lemon Drop with the recommendation from our server. Very tasty drunk. My fiancé ordered. Jameson and Cole but it was way too strong. We were offered a basket of warm bread which had a combination of pretzel bread, sourdough and raisin bread with plenty of butter. We also ordered bacon wrapped shrimp appetizer and it was delicious! I ordered the surf and turf with bavette steak and 2 lobster tails, potato puree and baby carrots. Everything was cooked to perfection. He ordered the New York steak and broccoli side. His steak was tasty and very big! The only problem was that our meals took way longer than expected as others who were seated after us were getting served before us. We were updated regularly. We finished with crème brûlée and it could have used a bit more vanilla. I was presented a long stem American Beauty rose which was a nice touch. The management was kind and made things a little better. The overall experience was good so we would return.

Large group dinner for friends and this placej didn't disappoint. It was very empty, but we were treated like royalty (and felt we would've had it been crowded). I can't say enough about our server, Rick. He was nothing short of excellent accommodating us with changes, recommending drinks, wines, and entrees. We were lucky to get him, and he made the dining experience the 5 stars that it was.

This restaurant is one of our favorites! The food is always perfect and service is impeccable! We are not local and both Jessica and Eric always make us feel at home. I can't tell you how much we appreciate the servers in this restaurant!

We absolutely love this place! If you're looking for a romantic, quiet restaurant with great food, this is it! My husband and I first came here about 4-5 years ago and discovered this hidden gem -- we couldn't remember the name for years, and we were so excited to finally find it again this year! The food is incredible: the shrimp cocktail is perfect, the oysters are amazing, the Caesar salad is delicious (I'm a huge Caesar salad fan!), and the New York steak is to die for -- the char on it is just so good. And don't even get me started on the crème brûlée -- outstanding! We definitely ordered more than we should have, but it was worth every bite. We'll be coming back every time we're in Vegas! I also want to say thank you for the friendly, caring service -- it really made the experience unforgettable. The hostess was super warm, and our server provided truly first-class service. A definite five-star place. Thank you for making our day!

My tomahawk steak was so tender. Our server was very attentive to everything we needed and atmosphere was very romantic. I highly recommend the Charcoal Room.

Food was spectacular! I has a bone in New York and wife a charred chicken breast. Both were done perfectly and seasoned just right. We started with the Chopped Steakhouse Salad and it's heavenly but split it and still was to large. Sides of sautéed spinach very tasty. The waiter George was a dope. Had to walk to the bar to get my own drinks because he was so inept. He couldn't ruin the night tho....dinner was delicious!

Went to Charcoal room for first time in awhile for my son's first last day at high school - what a disaster! 25 tables - ONE waiter Never came back to table to see if we wanted more bread, water, drinks etc.... Undercooked my steak not once - not twice - THREE TIMES IN A ROW Mgr brought it the third time - Same steak BTW - not a new one - which is a joke for 60.00 RAW - ridiculous.... Ruined what was supposed to be a great night - Bad service Bad attitude by Mgr woman Left a lengthy voice mail last night of the terrible experience for General mgr - no response - nothing Cannot recommend this place to anyone ever again Cutting corners - in an expensive steakhouse Chef doesnt know the correct temp of a medium rare steak - nor does mgr - but likes to argue about it instead of finding a solution to a wrecked experience. Going to write the Stations resorts head office and make sure everyone understands the non response policy and inability to cook a steak properly for 60.00 ala cart As a long time Las Vegas resident - one would think they would be dying for people like us that eat out three times a week at fine establishments... nope.... Good service, good environment. Great food! The old fashion was nice and stiff. The steak was absolutely delicious.

The food was delicious. Reasonably priced & generously portioned. The filet mignon was cooked to perfection. The burger was the best burger my husband said he ever had! The service was super friendly & attentive. The ambiance was very nice. The had several reservations open for popular time slots, but the restaurant is big enough to accommodate.

The Charcoal Room is located inside Palace Station Hotel & Casino. The relaxed layout is nice as is the menu. It was recommended by casino staff to try it. Our meal started out great with a variety of warm breads and butter. We moved onto lightly breaded calamari which was tender and served with a duo of tasty sauces; 1 a creamy lemon and the 2nd was a marinara with a little spicy kick. We ordered the same filet mignons but with a different wellness. They were brought to the table and we had to do a switcheroo as my daughter had mine and I hers. We had ordered Mac n cheese as well as mashed potato side dishes but the server didn't have those. We noticed from the paper order ticket he held that they weren't on there. Consequently, we waited about 15 minutes for those. By that time we had finished half of our steaks and the sides were now an afterthought. The steaks were generously portioned but lacked any "char" flavor that the restaurant is named for! We asked for pepper and the waiter brought a peppermill but there was hardly any pepper in it. The creme brûlée was made very well and was a nice ending to what was a mediocre experience. All in all it was an ok dinner and it could have been really great . In our opinion they missed the mark last night on our meal and need improvement on: serving right plate to right guest, order delivery (bringing entire order to the table at one time) as well as checking peppermills as these are used often on steaks!

Was super excited to try this restaurant as our favorite steakhouse was closed and this one was rated well. We were able to walk right in without a reservation. Staff was nice. The restaurant was not busy at all-about 40% full. The bartenders were standing around chit chatting so they were not busy either. We ordered two drinks, an appetizer, two entrees, and dessert. We received the appetizer before the drinks. My spouse ordered a double and received a single. His drink was delivered prior to mine. I watched the bar prepare my drink and leave it waiting for the server with the ice melting in it. Finally received my drink halfway through the appetizer. Took a sip and it was terrible. They quickly took it away and let me order something else. Waiter let us know it would be 15-20 minutes for our entrees to come out. 45 minutes later they were delivered to our table. Food was OUTSTANDING. Steak was perfect. Crème Brûlée was spectacular. Unfortunately, the rating came from the service. We were not offered anything else to drink. As we sat with our empty drink glasses and was only offered water. Our ticket was closed out without us requesting to be complete. However, they did box our leftovers. Again this rating is for the slow service as the food was great. I just had higher expectations when spending $300 for two people.

We came here the day before Valentine's Day to celebrate and we had a great experience. Raina was our sever and she took care of us. Food was amazing but pro tip, get the crème brûlée, you won't be disappointed.

I am pretty picky about my favorite dessert, crème brûlée. Let me tell you that you need to come here and try theirs. Hands down, the best in all the land!

Had dinner here the other night and was really impressed. Charcoal room is located inside the Palace station. This was my second time here, but for whatever reason, it was much more memorable. We ordered a bone in ribeye steak, fillet, and a lobster tail and for sides we got the crispy, potato, french fries asparagus, and mac & cheese. everything was really good. I would say the crispy potato wasn't that great and I would've just preferred a twice baked potato instead. The bone and ribeye is what I ate and it came with a garlic herb sauce that was just phenomenal. Our waiter was very attentive and made sure our drinks were full and that the service was everything we wanted love the ambience here and I will be back for sure.

I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. I got engaged two nights ago at this restaurant and it wouldn't have been as magical if it happened anywhere else. They took incredible care of us. Our Waitress, Reina, was amazing. She instinctively recorded my fiancé proposing and sent it to us. They doted on us with champagne, (thanks bartender Chris), brought us extra seafood (delicious, chef Adam) and incredible dessert. We felt so taken care of by Ramon and we know that manager Johnny made it all happen. The food was perfection. The petit fillet was the best bite I've had in Vegas, and maybe the best I've had generally in a long time. Don't miss this place if you're in Vegas. Easy to get to, amazing food, and even better service. Thank you for the magical night!

We had a big group of 16 and the only reason why there are not 5 stars is the drink orders were a little slow and incorrect even when it was only 6 of us that had arrived at first. The Steakhouse Salad was amazing! The seafood towers were just ok... loved the bacon wrapped shrimp and calamari. Steaks were all good as was the hot seafood. Would go back for sure and give it another go. For a steakhouse it wasn't typical Vegas pricey either.

Their food was delicious and the waitress named Reina was exceptional and the manager named Johnny was so cool and accommodating. We highly recommend this place and told Johnny that he will see us often dining with them. This place deserves more recognition for all the hardwork that they put into it. Keep it up guys

Just noticed that for some reason the review came up for the charcoal room at Palace Station. I could swear I made it for the charcoal room at Santa Fe.... My bad, sorry for any misunderstanding. I'm sure the palace station charcoal room is great too, BUT Santa Fe is our go to.... Had made a reservation for tonight, and surprise.... Got a call from my host who offered a very generous comp (Thanks Ingrid H.) anywho, got there on time Elsa the hostess seated us promptly . Jesus was our server and took our drink orders promptly. Micah the GM remembered us from our last visit and checked on us a few times. On to the food..... I had my customary French onion soup and then a ribeye with baked potato and mushrooms as a side . The steak was cooked just perfectly and my $10.00 baked potato was fine. (I get the ala carte menu choices of the standard $10.00 potato , but I never feel a darn potato is worth $10.00). My dining companions had a prime NY strip steak and a porterhouse. Both cooked perfectly. All in all another great meal. I love the ambience at charcoal room, classy, but not over stated or bougie like some strip places. The bar is always busy and actually even seated in the main dining room you can watch the games on the TV's over the bar. We've been to pretty much most of the steakhouses on the strip, but always come back here for a good meal at reasonable prices. My only true negative is the fact that station casino's do not offer a military discount.

Reina is an excellent server. Johnny introduced himself as the manager. I've got to say, before I got my order, I was very impressed with the menu options. The shrimp bacon wrapped app was huge and tasty. The fries are fresh hand cut. I adore a wedge salad and it did not disappoint. The bread was fresh. Cocktails amazing. The grass fed beef so fork tender. I had the salmon "oscar style" I was over the moon. Our side was the creamiest mashed potatoes you'll ever have. To finish the creme brulee with fresh berries was the best I've ever had. This place was the best food in Vegas. Mahalo Johnny for the hospitality. We look forward to coming back

It was our 1st time - We went to the one at Palace station last May 17th and had a great experience ! Everything we ordered tasted good - the bacon wrapped shrimp appetizer had good consistency and flavor; my lamb chops were cooked perfectly, tender and juicy; he had no complaints with his burger; abundant portion for the sorbet and gelato which both were good. Service was above par - not sure if it is always that way or if it was because they were not busy. Great ambiance - noise from the casino is not heard inside the restaurant. Definitely coming back ....

So good! I loved the bacon wrapped shrimp and lamb chops, but honestly it eas all amazing. Thank you our awesome server Joe and a great experience. Wonderful cocktails too! Perfect local spot for a night out.

This is one of the best places I have eaten at. My boyfriend and I were out here for his bowling tournament. We decided to stay at Palace Station again, and try this place for a nice dinner together. We made a reservation a day in advance just to be sure we got a table. The restaurant was very nice. You forget that you are even at the hotel. The lighting was perfect. The tables were set so nicely. The seat were comfortable. The service was amazing. The waiters always checked on us and made sure our drinks were refilled. We did not even have to ask because they were on top of it. The manager even came over and chatted with us. It was not to loud in there which was nice. We got a Caesar salad, New York steak, Mac n' cheese, shrimp scampi, Creme Brulee, and mashed potatoes. Everything was so good. No complaints at all. The flavors were on point. The steak cut like butter and was cooked to perfection. We will be back out to Vegas soon and we will likely return again soon! A must try place for sure. We did dress nice, casual. Seemed appropriate for this place. I wore and dress and boots and my boyfriend wore dress pants with a nice button down shirt.

On its own terms, The Charcoal Room is probably closer to 4 stars, but compared to the many amazing steakhouses you can find in Las Vegas, I have to rank it in the middle. Bacon-wrapped shrimp - tasty. Grass-fed filet - fine but not amazing Charred corn - super tasty Cocktails - solid, again not amazing. It was the end of the night on a Sunday and the overall vibe was we're tired and we want to go home. Seeing the strong reviews elsewhere, we might have to chalk it up to our experience on this night.

My lady and I love the steaks here! Tip tier compared to other steak places around the valley.

Loved the environment, very calm and sophisticated. Food was a 10/10 the mashed potatoes were the best mashed potatoes I have ever eaten. I can't wait to go back and get more. Service was great we got our food in a timely manner and were checked up appropriately. Will definitely recommend!

Tucked away at Palace Station, The Charcoal Room is a hidden gem just off the Vegas Strip. You'll find everything here that you'd find at a Strip steakhouse for about 80% of the price. And if you're looking for something a little quieter and less flashy, this is the perfect spot. The wedge salad was almost enough to make a complete meal. Great dressing and the wedge was served ice cold - perfection! The server suggested the filet over some of the other cuts and I wasn't disappointed - I could have cut it with a butter knife it was so tender. I really enjoyed the creamed spinach as my side. I ate alone at the bar, but the bartender and a few other diners kept me entertained. Very friendly crowd who made conversation if that what you're up for (I was.) I'll be back!

Had an amazing dinner at The Charcoal Room! From the moment we walked in, Jonathan gave us a warm welcome and took great care of us throughout the night. The food was fantastic--we had the bone-in ribeye and filet mignon, both cooked to perfection. The steakhouse chopped salad was fresh and flavorful, but the real standout was the mushrooms--so good! We finished with a crème brûlée that was perfectly creamy and crisp on top. Great food, great service, and a great night. Can't wait to come back!

The charcoal room definitely exceeded my expectations. I was not aware of this place until I was invited to dine here and it was so delightful. The Seabass was seasoned to perfection. The lobster mac & cheese, the scallops and the calamari were fantastic as well. I really enjoyed the pear sidecar too, it was different than what I'm used to but good.

Located in the Palace Station next to the famous pan roast is this great fine dining restaurant in the heart of the casino. Service is excellent and food was delicious. Steak cooked perfectly and the pan roast was to die for - Spice lever 3 for me and it was SPICEY but oh so YUMMY! King crab legs we're perfectly prepared and u didn't need butter it was so delicious! I'll be back to try more items on their menu!

This was a dinner that three people split. Despite that, the server Jorge was very excellent and courteous. He led us to the chopped salad, which was terrific. "You can get Caesar anywhere", he said. We enjoyed the oysters Rockefeller and the excellent bread basket. He made sure the bone-in ribeye was split up for us. Drinks were very fairly priced for Vegas. We were beyond full by the end of the meal. Next time, we'll have to save room for dessert!

I actually really enjoy this steakhouse. The service is really good and the food is delicious. I enjoy my time every time I come! Even at the bar it's chill.

First off the Steve host guy we like he makes sure this place has old school thinkers like Leo , Erik and Carrie (Kara see photo). The way they rapport with customers, the care they put into taking care of locals and out of towners is fantastic. A busy night and Erik took the time to fix a few weeks ago overcharged problem old school no corporate blab, no commercial business talk just gentleman handling gentleman affairs. Highly recommended if you want fine dining, fine staff, food and service welcome! Tip servers - bus persons and staff they appreciate it and its a gesture of your appreciations from Security to Rewards Lounge people will know your the "normal" type - again Steve take note of your cast they reflect you well . Thanks for an amazing experience.

My server was george. -ok service. Food was so-so with minimum flair/taste. Dessert was crème brûlée-sucked. Overall for the price I'll skip this restaurant. China mama or social tailgate is a better bang for your buck. Not coming here again.

Our family of 5 just got home from a "superb" dinner here!!! Rick was our waiter and was charming and wonderful! We tried a few apps--- onion soup, Caesar salad and shrimp cocktail... all were excellent!! As for entrees we had the scallops, tomahawk steak special and their hamburger. Sides were creamed spinach, mashed potatoes and French fries. Everything was sooooo yummy!!! Prices can't be beat either!! Run to this restaurant don't walk!!! Can't wait to go back!!!

Date: July 03, 2023 8:00 PM Reservation We've seen the restaurant when we watch movies here, and have always wanted to try it out. We were very impressed! The service was amazing! The food made just like you want and very flavorful! I got the bone in ribeye and my husband ordered the porterhouse. We shared the mushrooms which were very flavorful (highly recommend) and the grilled asparagus, which was just OK. Two other items we recommend is the bacon wrapped shrimp which was really good along with scallops!

Do not let the location deter you. The food was yummy, the service wasn't too bad for a Friday night. We ordered bacon wrapped shrimp, salads, steaks, sides, and salmon. The bacon wrapped shrimp won the evening. It was delicious! The Caesar salad was good, but the wedge salad tasted off. Our steaks were well cooked and the salmon was buttery and fresh. We had mashed potatoes and Mac & cheese as our sides. We will keep this spot on rotation because there are a few dishes we'd like to try!

absolutely fantastic. our server reina was terrific....what an attitude. our food was heavenly!!!!!! this was our first time at the charcoal. our experience was outstanding. we were recd at the door by johnny with class. from there the rating went up from. the food, the service, the atmosphere was superior. we eat out alot and there arent many 5 stars we give, this was truly a 5. we'll be back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've passed by this place so many times but decided to try it out. I'm so mad at myself for no coming sooner. This place needs to have its own billboard outside the casino telling everyone to come try it. I was first greeted by a wonderful hostess that possessed amazing customer service. But it did not end there, I was introduced to Rick and his team of Sandra and Alma who were on point the entire evening. The menu is outstanding with the options. I realized I've never had filet mignon and decided to give it a try. Again I'm mad at myself for not trying it sooner, because each bite sent me on a journey of pure ecstasy. It had me remembering the good times in life and how I want to want to do something for the community. That's how good it was, and I was dancing in my seat. The lamb chops were exquisite and cooked to perfection. I have to say the whole decor is very pleasing, relaxing, and sensual. I will come back but I really hope others take the time to try it out if you haven't. Next time I'm going for the seafood

This update is long overdue. I had been to the Charcoal Room at Palace Station about 6 years ago. I decided to come back for dinner before a presentation I was attending at the Mob Museum. I was seated promptly and then was quickly brought water and an order for iced tea was taken. I looked over the menu but I did have a question about the size of the steaks. The menu does not list the number of ounces but my server gave me a run down of all the weights for the various offerings. I chose my steak and placed my order. I started with French onion soup, the 10 ounce filet--the next size up was 16 ounces and I didn't want to get that much, a side of grilled asparagus, and carrot cake bread pudding for dessert. I was brought a small basket of bread with raisin walnut, a pretzel roll, and others. These were served with butter cubes. The soup came out and I was warned the plate and crock were very hot. The soup was, too! Spooning through the gruyere cheese, I got to the very rich broth under the browned cheese top. This ranks as one of the better French onion soups I've had. The slice of bread with it was just perfect. Then came the steak--cooked blue as I ordered and the side of asparagus. You can order the asparagus steamed, sautéed, or grilled. I prefer grilled and it had some nice grill marks but the spears were crispy and very enjoyable! There was no dessert menu by my very capable server verbally gave me the list. I am not a bread pudding fan but I decided to order the carrot cake bread pudding because it was so different and who wants another crème brûlée? The bread pudding had a great carrot cake flavor and it was topped with caramel sauce and roasted pecans. Service was top notch!! My server and the busser who tended to refilling my iced tea were on their best game. The room is not as elegant as some of the newer Stations' steakhouses, but the price point is better here. I upped my stars because this Charcoal Room has upped their game since I was last here.

Just returned from our Christmas celebration dinner, and overall a very enjoyable experience. As always, the good and the bad: Positives: 1) Jessica was our server and was almost fantastic (more to come), 2) 4 of 5 steaks and a burger (darn teenager) were on point, 3) smashed yams are crazy good, 4) asparagus-broccoli-Mac n cheese all solid sides, 5) crème brûlée was just the right finish. Negatives: 1) wife's steak was overlooked and wasn't inputted w/all, so didn't arrive with everyone's meal. To Jessica's credit, she took responsibility (her mistake) and said they would get one asap (no issue, having previously served, it does happen). About 7 minutes later her steak arrived, with what can only be described as a painful acidic taste. Not wanting to slow things further, she oversauced it and made do. The steak as well as the crème brûlée were both comped, but was surprised we didn't see a manager or our server after mentioning the steak's flavor to her until picking up our plates. Holiday meals are always tough as patrons want everything perfect, an expectation that is not fair. However, if things go sideways, that's when the true measure of an establishment is understood. In this case, I thought it should've been handled better. Overall, got a 4 based upon 4 out of 5 of us enjoying our meal.

Charcoal Room is one of our favorite steakhouses in town since they always have delicious steaks, terrific prices, and great service. We haven't been to this location in a while, but we returned last night to celebrate my husband's birthday. We had an early reservation, so we were able to take advantage of the Happy Hour special: a $65 prix fixe menu of Caesar salad, a 14 oz New York strip steak with two jumbo shrimp, and créme brûlée dessert. This was such an excellent meal. My steak came out just the way I liked it, and it was so big that I only ate half and took the other half home and had it for lunch today! We did order additional sides of mashed potatoes and a sweet potato (a very big one), plus they serve a tasty basket of bread that features my favorite: pretzel bread. Service was again top-notch, and they sent out my husband's dessert with a birthday candle for his special day. Thank you for another excellent dining experience, Charcoal Room!
