Chaos Erupts Over Free Cheesecake at the Cheesecake Factory | Eater

"To mark its 40th anniversary the restaurant gave away free slices of cheesecake to customers who ordered delivery via DoorDash, triggering a flood of orders that attracted a large crowd of double-parked delivery drivers at the Clarendon location; police were called for crowd control after an apparent fistfight, and one driver was taken to the hospital and later charged with disorderly conduct." - Whitney Filloon

The Cheesecakes are always spot on. Can't really say anything negative about them. Decadently delicious. Flavors listed on the menu always pop. Serviceable staff. Ambienceis a little loud. Wheelchair accessible. I highly recommend the roll sampler. Interesting. I wish they would experiment like this dish and their cheesecakes with more plates.

I honestly don’t understand why this place gets a bad rap. It is one of my favorite restaurants out there. The food during this visit was phenomenal. We got the Louisiana chicken pasta w/ extra sauce, (a-mazing!), truffle honey chicken, and spaghetti with meatballs. We finished off with the fresh strawberry cheesecake and all of it was delicious.

Despite arriving near closing, we were seated promptly. We enjoyed fried mac and cheese, four-cheese pasta, and carne asada steak, paired with mojitos and a raspberry lemon drop. Service was attentive and kind.

Pasta Carbonara is mediocre, too much cream and oil. The Pasta Da Vinci is much better! Some servers are nice while sometimes the service is quite slow and hard to approach. Edited: Louisiana Chicken is good

I've been to The Cheesecake Factory over 8 times and it never disappoints. They have some of the best burgers in my opinion, along with consistently great service and a nice atmosphere. Prices are reasonable, and of course, their cheesecakes are unbeatable. Always a solid choice!

We had a terrible experience from start to finish. When I asked the host if I could “see” the menu, he played a childish game and held it up instead of handing it to me. I was just trying to get the menu quickly so my wife and toddler could order right after sitting down—we had already waited an hour to be seated despite a whole section of open tables. The host wasn’t directing staff, and no one seemed to be in charge. The floor near and under the tables was filthy, littered with used napkins and leftover food. Multiple staff walked past it without doing anything, and I had to ask someone to sweep it up. It took 15 minutes before a waiter came to our table, then another 10 minutes just to get water. We waited 45 minutes for our food—just two adult meals, one of which was basic chicken fingers. Our son ordered spaghetti and meatballs and received a single meatball. Dessert was no better. I ordered cheesecake, which was clearly defrosted and not fresh. It was my second choice because I was told my first choice was still frozen. I also ordered a single-shot espresso but was charged for a double. The manager never came over—just communicated through the waiter that “only double shots are in the system.” No apology, no effort to make things right. The place wasn’t even that busy for a Saturday night compared to other restaurants, but the staff was clearly overwhelmed and poorly trained. Everyone looked confused and disorganized. Even the bathroom was a mess—paper towels overflowing, trash not emptied. Is no one assigned to check it hourly? We spent $87 for a truly disappointing experience. This is the second time I’ve had issues here—the first was on a weekday. I wish I could give zero stars.

My friend and I came here later in the evening just for some late night nachos and cheesecake. It was super clean inside and set up like the usual cheesecake factories. We ordered the poke nachos which were delicious. My salted caramel cheesecake was also fabulous. My only complaint was the service was incredibly slow, especially considering we were one of the only customers in the restaurant. Overall, though I would come back. I do love cheesecake factories food, the service could just be faster!

Google
We had a really disappointing experience at The Cheesecake Factory. We drove 30 minutes to get there, excited to celebrate, but the service completely let us down. First, they recommended the pineapple cake. We asked if we could try a sample, but they refused. So we bought a small slice to taste at our own cost. After liking it, we decided to buy the full cake — only to be told they didn’t have it in the full size. Then they started suggesting other cakes instead. We eventually decided on their top-selling Oreo chocolate cake. I asked if they could write a name on it since it was for a special occasion. They said they could do it on a chocolate strip for an extra charge, which I agreed to and paid for. Later, they told us they couldn’t write the name at all. I spoke to the manager hoping for a solution, but she was extremely rude and unhelpful. Her attitude was aggressive, and she showed no interest in resolving the issue. I asked for a refund, and even that was met with resistance. Overall, this experience was frustrating and disappointing — not what you’d expect from a place like Cheesecake Factory. We won’t be returning.

Yelp
We had an amazing experience at The Cheesecake Factory tonight. From start to finish, everything was smooth and enjoyable. We were able to make a reservation ahead of time and were seated right away in the spot we requested--super accommodating! For food, we ordered the bang bang chicken and shrimp, the caesar salad with steak, and the s'mores cheesecake. Everything was absolutely delicious, and they didn't overcook the steak--a problem that happens at a lot of restaurants. If you go, ask for Desmond as your server. He was fantastic--super patient while we decided on our order, answered all our questions, kept our drinks full, checked in on us often and was happy to take a photo of us. Highly recommend this location for great food and excellent service. We'll definitely be back!

Yelp
Mojito - Not freshly made just a stock sugary lime water poured in with a few mint leaves some rotten, instant indigestion in a glass if you like drinking straight lime juice. No muddled mint barely tasted any rum. Drink wasn't built it was tossed and rim garnished with a shriveled up brown spotted lime slice. Asian chicken salad - incredibly sweet and salty with a hint of ginger. Prepackaged sparsely adorned diced chicken slices that tasted on the verge of expiration and had that gelatinous texture and look (you all know it if you've gotten pre cooked plastic container chicken anywhere). Nothing was fresh about it, a salad should exude freshness and this was just not appetizing I felt ill half way thru and abandoned the effort. Not worth five bucks let alone twenty. Lemon meringue cheesecake- I'm not sure I've ever tasted something so cloyingly sweet in my life. Hardly an any actual lemon or cream cheese more like extract with whey and milk protein solids in jello. The "meringue" said to be on top was really just marshmallow fluff hit with a blow torch for more sugar liquid that slid off the cheesecake after a few minutes. Service is the only star as they tried their best in a busy section. Although the host lacked any front of house training and came by to seat someone in the cramped table next to us, and the new customer didn't want to sit there and he looked at our table and loudly said "oh they about to leave". Actually no we were not... Made for an American palette, so when you don't feel like producing your processed meal at home come on down to the factory and they'll happily serve you some gruel.

Yelp
During a recent visit to our daughter in Clarendon, she decided to treat her son ( 18 months old) and the grandparents to an early meal at the Cheesecake Factory. I don't think we've eaten at cheesecake factory restaurant in 30 years! The restaurants are quite spacious and remind me of the inside of an ancient temple. Not a bad ambiance at all. We were seated promptly, after our waters were delivered. And straight away our grandson put in his order for cheese toast. Our daughter requested that his order be brought out first. And viola! Out it came about five minutes later. That portion of the service exceeded our expectations and it was well received. Wow, what a portion! It appeared to be two sandwiches cut in planks and arranged like a jenga puzzle. We also ordered a factory chopped salad, Shelia's chicken and avocado salad, and a bee sting flatbread pizza. Now for the wait. Yes, we waited what seemed to be 20 minutes or so for our order. What ever the exact wait, I felt that it was a bit excessive. Nevertheless, the chow was tasty and beautifully prepared and our server was pleasant. I thought my pizza was quite creative and enjoyable. I was hoping for a crisper crust, and I was disappointed that the happy hour was restricted to the bar (maybe it's a law?). But, all in all we were happy with our visit.

Yelp
No complaints. The only thing is getting parked, which is paid street parking so it can be a challenge. The staff are friendly and pleasant, making for a positive experience, and the decor is what you will have in any Cheesecake Factory. The food is fairly good for a national chain, and the prices are what you would expect. My family and I tend to go with a selection of appetizers when we visit so we have variety. This last trip included Korean fried cauliflower (which I really like), chicken and jalapeño fritters (very good), and nachos (which I'm not big on but don't care for any restaurant nachos).

Yelp
The servers were a bit unsettling, staring at my girl friend and asking inappropriate questions. Otherwise, the food was pretty mid. I remember Cheesecake Factory tasting better, but maybe it's just this place. It was pretty dark mood lighting, but the booths were nice.

Yelp
Great food and Service. Ambiance is not romantic more of a family gathering. Drinks aren't strong at all just stick to the food.

Yelp
Servers/service have always been terrible here. I've had multiple employees tell me the complimentary bread has been dropped on the floor all the time and they still use it. That's disgusting. People need to know that they don't make the cakes in house and they just receive shipments from a designated "factory" that exclusively makes it for them but guess what? The cakes are upstairs in another freezer and they are placed in the refrigerator and display case to thaw. So.... Overpriced for sure. I know corporate places like this treat their employees like shit and there's major turnover all the time here. I've been at least 20+ times in the past few years. There's always people taking selfies and group photos as if this is a bougie place or fine dining - which is ridiculous

Yelp
I hit up the forbidden restaurant Cheesecake. I love this place. Food and service is always amazing. My favorite dish is the Louisiana pasta with no mushrooms and add shrimp. Can't go wrong. The raspberry lemonade drop are heaven made. Order you one. For dessert I had that cinnamon bun cheesecake. It's was so good! I'm drooling writing this review. #EatGoodAndBeHappy

Yelp
Okay to be fair I've been coming to this restaurant for over 10 years now & maybe just things aren't the same level of quality anymore. I'm not faulting my sever or the restaurant but maybe everyone was having a bad day. The drinks were nasty, the food was very very bland and just not up to par for something so simple. Unfortunately this was a celebration dinner that missed the mark. I was left disappointed and hungry because i was not able to complete the dish instead of sending it back for an exchange I accepted the distasteful plate and tried to make it not noticeable to my sever because I did not want them to feel troubled. Maybe i will be back in the future

Yelp
Score is low simply because I felt like I have been to many far far better cheesecake factories in my lifetime. And I know this is DC and I have not been to a cheesecake factory in forever but $20 for a cocktail? Absolutely absurd. Not to mention they served me a martini rather than a margarita. Would not recommend.
google avatar

Stephanie C.

Yelp
Friendly bartender. $10 happy hour burger deal and +$1 if you want to add fries. The patty was cooked well done. Not gourmet, but hits the junk food spot. I wouldn't recommend dining here for the food unless there is a deal like happy hour since it's quite pricey for their pastas etc and the food is mediocre. You could do much better at the same price point at many other restaurants in the DMV. Their cheesecakes are what really stand out of course. $20 per slice is quite pricey though so I recommend that you sign up for their rewards since they give you BOGOs or free slice with a purchase sometimes. My favorite cheesecake flavor so far is their cookie dough!

Yelp
I just want to say THANK YOU to Milton and Melody! 5 star service! My bday was already extremely special because my two best friends took me out BUT these two servers made it unforgettable. It's like they knew I had been up since 3:45am running around at my own restaurant like a chicken with its head cut off because it was a BUSY DAY! The food was excellent. Fried calamari, street corn, my crispy chicken n shrimp and DRINKS! They kept checking on us to see if we had everything we needed. We'll be back!

Yelp
Came here at 4pm on a week day - nice time to overlap either lunch specials or happy hour (must be seated near bar). Server was friendly, attentive, and quick. Food came out quick. It was pretty slow time so it was nice to relax.

Yelp
Met my homegirl here for a late brunch on 10/5/24 and had a reservation for 1:15pm. I'd been craving CF for weeks (blame TikTok) and hadn't been for years so this was perfect for a Saturday afternoon. Parking in the area wasn't the best but if you're willing to walk a block or two (or pay for the garage) you're sure to find something within 10mins. We were sat immediately and our waiter was Tyreek We ordered: Raspberry Lemon Dropx2 - 10/10 - They're my favorite, i still prefer a plain LD but this was a nice recommendation from the waiter. Fried cheese - 7/10 - these were delicious but SO rich. I think if they were cut smaller they'd be easy to get through. A cheese lovers dream I'm sure. Fried calamari - 8/10 - wish the batter was crispier but a decent serving. Tex mex egg rolls - 5/10 - they fell apart once you bite into them. The best part of the egg roll is the crunch and it just went to mush once you bit into it. Our waiter was very attentive, service was fast and the location was clean. Definitely will be back.

Yelp
A typical The Cheesecake Factory, which means an overwhelming novel of a menu, mostly unhealthy dishes that show you the calorie count of what you eat (mostly making you feel bad), overpriced food, average food quality taste, and good cheesecake. I recently went here for a friend's birthday party on a weeknight and we received good service, including a slice of cheesecake with a lit candle for my friend. We ordered the crab dip, pretzel bites, and ahi tuna nachos for the table, all of which were fine but overpriced. For my main, I got the chicken chili, which was one of the only non-salad main dishes that had a reasonable amount of calories. The portion size was an appetizer-size, and was way overpriced at $18 (it should have been more like $11 or $12). The chili was fine; it could have used more spice but otherwise got the job done. I got a slice of the peanut butter cheesecake to go for dessert, which was disappointing-lesson learned that as much as I love peanut butter, maybe not in cheesecake.

Yelp
I came to cheesecake factory for lunch. I wanted to get a salad that I saw someone post but it sadly was not on the menu. I decided to get the chicken ceasar salad with chicken. The salad was huge and the chicken was perfectly crispy but I still could not get the other salad out of my head.

Yelp
I had lunch with some of my coworkers at Cheesecake Factory in Arlington on 12/18 for our holiday gathering. The restaurant was warm and neatly decorated for the holidays. I tend to get the same entree, but decided to try something different today. Our server was friendly and efficient. I had the French dip bistro burger with sweet potato fries. The burger was cooked well, but the au jus was super salty. The sweet potato fries were fresh cut fried to perfection and tasty. And of course I had to get a slice of cheesecake to take home. As no visit to the Cheesecake Factory is complete with one.

Loved the staff. Clean and staff was very on top of things. Food was amazing of course. Love this location

Food and service was great, the waiting staff was great but also had a good group of people to share the meal with.

Yelp
So the manager called me based on my review to tell me sorry about my experience but that the tvs won't be fixed until they hire a GM. IT WAS A WAIST OF TIME FOR HIM TO CALL ME IF THE ISSUE WASNT FIXED...

Yelp
Just picked up a take out order from the Cheesecake Factory in Clarendon. One app, three pasta dishes, fish and chips, and three desserts. Price ~$180. I asked the person at the pick up if she had confirmed that all purchased items were in the bag and ready to go and she said yes. Upon arriving home, no chips with the fish and chips. Really? It is fish and chips after all. Apparently, getting the order right was not within the realm of possibility. Food was only OK and certainly not worth the price.

Yelp
I have been to the Cheesecake Factory in Columbia Maryland and in Baltimore. At both locations service has been HORRIBLE, from food being cold to non existent service even on a slow day. I decided to try this location to give the company one more shot and I am so happy I did. Service was fast and so hospitable. I would like to thank Yinka for making me a returning costumer. Food is hot and fresh here, drinks are 10/10. Thank you again Yinka for the great experience. I will definitely come back really soon to experience your amazing service again.

Yelp
Service was outstanding. We sat outside and it was such a beautiful day. I had the chicken and waffles with eggs Benedict, it was very delicious. Mom had some scrambled eggs with bacon and toast. I really like how you can order breakfast all day and not be rushed and see what time places stop serving brunch/ breakfast. This is my first time in the Arlington location and I really like the atmosphere compared to Tysons. We will be back.

Journey J.

Yelp
The service here was ridiculous,. Me and my friends came in at 8:30. We did not get our drinks until 9:30. We then had to ask for our food. We finally got our food around 10ish. The manager apologized and made it sound like he would cover everything we bought. He said he would cover everything on the table, and that cheesecake was on the house. We didn't leave until 11ish. The cheese cake took another twenty minutes to get, and spilling the bill took another fifteen. Both which were done by another waiter who was wonderful. And then in the end the only thing we ended up being taken off the bill was the two appetizers and the non specialty drinks. Very upset, and extremely disappointed with cheese cake factory. They apologized and said they were busy, however, it shouldn't take a half hour to get drinks. Highly recommend against coming here.

Yelp
This place is an all-time favorite...with a menu the size of a magazine. We love the avocado egg rolls and Korean fried cauliflower for appetizers along with some many entree options. My latest love is the bistro shrimp pasta...the garlic, lemon sauce is outstanding. Of course the cheesecake options are ridiculous. The icing on the cake (or should I said cheesecake) is the service...always impeccable. This is a great place for groups or picky eaters. I promise there's something for everyone.

Yelp
Where dessert dreams come true! The Cheesecake Factory never disappoints. They have a good selection of wines at the bar too. I was happy with my Pinot noir and my friend, her Cabernet Sauvignon. The extreme Oreo cheesecake is a must try for those in a cookie mood. It's not too sweet and pairs nicely with good company and delicious wine!

Heather C.

Yelp
We went in at the end of happy hour on a Saturday and were immediately seated. Very nice service. We love the fried zucchini there. The best. The Thai noodles were yummy. We were too full to get dessert which was sad but we'll go back!

Yelp
If we could give 0 stars, we would. We visited The Cheesecake Factory on Christmas Eve in Arlington, VA. We are long-time customers and have been to this restaurant chain in different states and locations. Our kids enjoy a tradition of dining there on Christmas Eve as we've done this for over 20 years. Even though we could choose other places, they always want to keep this tradition. Well, after this past visit, we'll be breaking tradition. The restaurant wasn't crowded and it looked short staffed, but we tolerated waiting. It started off well, but we were served our appetizer long before we got our drinks (that we'd ordered at the same time). No big deal. Our entrees were a wait, but, we've all worked in the food industry, so we're pretty easy going about this kind of thing. After close to a half hour, the waitress came over and apologized that she forgot to put our ticket in. She said it would be expedited and out very soon. Well, we waited. And waited. For about another 20 minutes. And finally two other servers came over and practically threw the plates on the table then ran off. I'd ordered a steak, but wasn't given a steak knife. Worse yet, my vegetable wasn't anywhere in sight (it's usually under the steak). We looked around for our waitress, but she was nowhere in sight. My husband saw a busperson and asked for a steak knife, which he just handed to him and ran off. No one came by to see if we wanted anything or if everything was alright. It wasn't. I still didn't have part of my dinner. Our waitress would buzz by our table, but she wouldn't come over. After telling two other servers that I hadn't gotten half my meal, our original server finally came over and was surprised that half my entree was still missing. Of course, by now everything was getting cold and the members in our group were done eating. I was finally served luke warm asparagus long after I'd eaten the rest of my dinner. Plus, my steak jus was way too salty. No one ever came by to apologize for how long we had to wait or for missing half of my entree. We didn't expect to get the meal comped, but we did expect to at least get a visit from the manager as a courtesy. We were fortunate that we weren't in a hurry, because our reservation was for 6pm, but my meal wasn't completely served until almost 8 o'clock. The restaurant was't crowded for a holiday evening. We were at the same location last Christmas Eve and our waitperson was wonderful. Our food was good and we had a lovely time. This year was a complete disappointment. I sent a survey response to the CF customer email and told them about the disappointing evening. I got a cheery email response back from the restaurant manager who basically said that they will do better and we should stop in and say hello to the manager when we come back. A weird response for sure. We spent over $230 for our meal and we felt cheated. This chain has gone down in quality and, if this location is open next year, I'll be really surprised. This service was abysmal. We'll be spending Christmas Eve dining somewhere else from now on.

Dia H.

Yelp
I just ran in to get a whole cheesecake for my moms bday. In and out and it was quick! Thanks

Yelp
We sat here for 20 min and nobody acknowledged us. Several severs walked by and didn't say a work. The hostess was also unphased and unapologetic when we said why we were leaving. Never coming back to this location. Service here has gone down over the last few years.
google avatar

Yelp
First time to this particular Cheesecake Factory and overall a good visit. We had reservations at 630 and were immediately seated. Our server was nice and attentive however towards the end of our visit she either became very busy or just forgot about us. We had to grab her attention to get our bill. Other than that the visit was smooth. Bread took a while but came out nice and hot and our food was delicious. We stopped to see the cheesecake on the way out and of course couldn't leave without grabbing a few slices. Definitely come earlier than later as I noticed when I was leaving the lobby became full compared to arrival.

Yelp
We decided to take our daughter to Cheesecake Factory in Arlington, Virginia to Celebrate her High School Graduation#Class2024‍. From the time we arrived to the time we left we All Enjoyed the Experience. The Service was fast, friendly, and attentive, while the food from the appetizers to the main courses were Definitely Spot on. We will be back Soon. Thanks Cheesecake Factory for making my Daughters High School Graduation Memorable and Special!!!

Yelp
The Oreo cheesecake is delicious. I which we had a Cheesecake Factory near Buckingham VA. Ordered out and had delivery.

Yelp
Y=MX+B and this venue ain't the place to be. Servers be dropping the free bread on the floor and still serving it to people. Only saved yourselves a star because that French Dip Burger was so good I can ignore the disgusting place this location is. Don't eat here.
google avatar

Kimber V.

Yelp
Wow, it was so dark in the restaurant during the middle of the day that we had to use flashlights on our phones to read the menu. After we read through the menu we ordered a couple of appetizers, the brussel sprouts and taquitos. The Brussel sprouts were delicious. The taquitos were really small and the chicken was tough. I ordered a burger and a frozen drink. All in all, I'd definitely come back again. I was too full to get dessert. But definitely will next time. Our server was great and attentive.

Yelp
This is my first time visiting the DC location. I was pleased to see it was clean. They also have valet. My pasta was so yum yum. Please know I went for that dish. Service was decent and accurate.
google avatar

Cheneya M.

Yelp
2nd time at this location. We came an hour before closing and the food was still very fresh. Our waiter was amazing and knew a lot about the menu. Chicken Bellagio pasta will always be my favorite! Yummy white sauce and pesto. It comes with prosciutto and to me, that's the best part. My mom had the Jamaican Black Pepper Shrimp and she really enjoyed it. She said that the sauce was seasoned really well.

Yelp
Dined in on a busy Saturday night, waited 50 minutes for a text that never came, checked in with staff and then we were seated. A table of four with two kids next to the bar wasn't ideal, but we took it. The wave of freezing air that hit our backs as the front door opened and closed was unsettling, not to mention it made our food cold 3 minutes after hitting the table....oh well, not our night (lol). The waiter was attentive and super kind. The food was still tasty...it's Cheesecake Factory. Will try again on a warm day when it's less crowded.

Yelp
True to its brand, this Cheesecake Factory location also has obnoxiously dim lighting to the point where my friends and I could hardly see one another. But that's fine, I guess, as long as we can see our food and drinks and eat from it properly. We came here for a friend's birthday, whose birthday tradition is to come eat at Cheesecake Factory to celebrate. I ordered the "Herb Crusted Filet of Salmon" for my entree. The salmon was pretty large and seasoned well. It wasn't overcooked, which I appreciated since I feel like salmon is often super dry and tasteless at most chain restaurants. The lemon sauce was tangy and creamy, which went well with the salmon. Mashed potatoes were not bad and wasn't overly salty, but overall, it was basic and nothing too special. Liked that the potato skins were mashed in with the potatoes. The asparagus weren't special either, and it would have been nice to get more than six of them. But sadly, all chains are standardized and nothing can really be changed about that. Overall, the salmon was quite good, but everything else was pretty mediocre. We ordered two cheesecakes: "Pumpkin Pecan Cheesecake" and "Godiva Chocolate Cheesecake". The pumpkin one was definitely the lighter option of the two, but still pretty thick. I appreciated the strong pumpkin flavor. The Godiva cheesecake was way too much for me as it is extremely thick and dense, and I could not eat more than one bite of this without drinking lots of water. If you like thick cheesecakes and chocolate, I would recommend it, otherwise, stay away. I'm sure everyone knows this already, but if you are health conscious, this chain should not make it to the top of your restaurant preferences. Overall, the service was pretty lacking as our server wasn't very attentive to us. It took awhile for us to order cheesecakes after our meal and the food/cheesecake took a lot longer than anticipated to arrive.

Yelp
The positive thing about this restaurant is that there are over 200 menu items to choose from. But there are two negative things. The food is okay; just okay. Passable but not great. The service was awful. Forget about the free soda refills as the waitress was hard to find. I wanted to like this place but it wouldn't let me.

Yelp
Presentation of food was surprising. We've been to many Cheesecake Factories and this was so disappointing. The hamburgers were plopped on a platter with nothing else. French fries came in a separate bucket. No care taken on the plating at all.

Yelp
I came here Saturday night and left disappointed. We had no reservations. They were busy and stated there was a 45 minute wait. It was only 7, so we were okay to wait. We went to the bar, had a cocktail and luckily, we got a table after only around 30-35mins. The bartenders were attentive and friendly. And that's about the end of our good experience. Once we were seated, service declined. Our server was clearly slammed and it took a while to be greeted, get a bread basket, etc. It seemed he kept forgetting us, which tells me our table was probably not usually his section. He was friendly and nice though. We ordered cocktails and it took a very long to get them. Once we received them, it was clear my boyfriends drink had been sitting for a while, as his ice was melted and his drink was completely watered down. For dinner, he got the NY steak and I got the Cajun jambalaya pasta. My boyfriend asked for medium rare but his steak came medium. His mashed potatoes were cold. My pasta was overcooked and was literally sticking together (see pic). The taste was also lackluster. We were really disappointed. Trying to get our servers attention for some Parmesan cheese and then for boxes took forever. We had maybe a few bites of our food and were ready to pack it up and head home. Overall, Cheesecake really missed the mark this weekend.

Yelp
Your classic Cheesecake Factory with lots of seating and all the classic food options. Portions are huge as always, and we definitely had leftovers! Service was quick, although it was empty on a weekday night. Buffalo blasts and avocado egg rolls are the favorites!

Yelp
Located I'm Clarendon so there's some street parking snd somewhere parking garages around. I had called ahead to order ab10 inch cheesecake and a Happy Birthday chocolate plaque to pick up. Thay interaction was a little strange as she asked me if I wanted my sour cream for the cheesecake on top or on the side. I thought she had meant whipped crean but she insisted it was sour cream and then also forgot to take my name until I mentioned if she needed addition information for me to pick it up. We came here for dinner and sat down in addition to picking up the cake. The dinner was great and service was amazing. I ordered a skinny mojito and my boyfriend ordered the Bourbon and Honey. Both were great. For our appetizers, we ordered the Korean Fried Cauliflower and the Chicken Taquitos. The Cauliflower was really good but took some time to make. I ordered the taquitos probably 15 min after when we were putting in our entrees and it still came out first. It was airtight, good flavor but actually a little cold inside. For dinner I ordered the Grilled Steak Medallions and my boyfriend ordered the Truffle Honey Chicken. The steak Medallions were good. They were well cooked and the mashed potatoes and shiitake mushrooms were good too. The truffle Honey chicken was a little disappointing. Not too much flavor but it was a decent fried chicken. Service was great. Our server was attentive and helped us grab the cheesecake that we ordered. It did come with sour cream which to me is still very strange.

Yelp
The service was horrible the waiter seen the color and basically was leaving us to just sit of course until I had to put in the mad on face like hold up a family got there after us like 15 minutes after and they were giving bread and all before us never checked up on us while there need a refill had to wait for the sever to come back kept saying that. He would be back and never did so I observed he went to all the other ppl table frequently but mine not at all had to get his attention which was hard but rest of the serves was giving me good service kept checking up on them but us we was left to nothing it was a uncomfortable dinner never again this location they are racist asf

Yelp
Enjoyed the atmosphere, not so much the food. I ordered the crab wontons which were eh. However, my entree was much better. Sat at a tabletop at the bar.

Yelp
we ordered 4 full dinners and 3 cheesecake plates. upon delivery left at our hotel door, we discovered there were no utensils or napkins left with our order/drop off. i immediately called the cheesecake factory to inquire about obtaining utensils so we could begin eating our dinners. the manager said it was not her fault or responsibility and said to call doordash and blaim them!!! never again-for either. honestly the food wasn't that great once we acquired forks elsewhere.

Yelp
Went on a Thursday night and it was pretty slow, we were seated quickly and the hosts were very nice. Our server was also the bartender and honestly she wasn't that great. She had a couple other tables along with one couple at the bar, my table noticed that she was a bit more attentive to her other tables, wasn't very friendly and I don't think she even told us her name. I ordered the orange chicken and it was really not that good, the rice was SO dry along with the chicken. My friend ordered the caesar salad appetizer and it had way too much dressing, I recommend asking for it on the side. Our table was fine but it was near the door so we got a rush of the cold air whenever the doors were opened. That's nobody's fault but if you have problems with the cold sit in the back because the double doors don't prevent anything.
