"Rittenhouse Square is home to many of the city’s best restaurants, so going to the Cheesecake Factory is like passing up on a Meek Mill show to watch a SEPTA worker freestyle on their lunch break. But the chain has a few things going for it: it’s a dependable backup if you can’t get in anywhere else, they have free bread, and there’s cheesecake. Plus, with its massive menu, there’s almost no type of cuisine that you can’t get. Stop by on a casual night for a few drinks, cheesesteak spring rolls (that kind of work), and be satisfied that you’re probably at the only restaurant in the neighborhood without a wait." - Candis R. Google
I only visit The Cheesecake Factory when certain family members want to visit for different occasions but it’s definitely not in my rotation of “go-to” places. They’re always crowded and parking is too big of a headache for me to willingly want to eat here. The food is also not all that great and as of late, every single slice of Cheesecake that I’ve picked up from here in a to go order has been frozen. 🙄 I know some love the variety of the menu but in my opinion the lackluster service, mediocre food, and headache of parking just isn’t worth the hype.

If I could give less than one star, I would. We went to eat for the first time and we will not return. The server was very rude to us, at first he was friendly but I don't know why he changed. He never checked if our food was good, on my plate I ordered brown rice and they brought me white. I had to ask another waitress to bring us more drinks. then, he brought us boxes to take our food and we said we didn't want to take it and he left the dirty dishes on the table. We ordered cheesecake for dessert, he took a while to bring it and it just came, he threw it on the table and left, he didn't even leave us spoons or take the previous dishes. We asked the friendly waitress again to bring us the bill and to bring box for the cheesecake because we wanted to leave. This guy never appeared again. We had to get up to the bar to be charged. unpresentable

I stopped here for a bite to eat at lunch. I ordered off the diet menu, and the food was delicious. The service was incredibly slow. I sat down knowing what I wanted to eat and put my drink and food order in at the same time. It still took over an hour for me to leave and I only got one refill in the process. I asked for a cheesecake to go, I specifically asked if there could be a little more strawberries because last time I only got three sliced strawberries. This time, I have four pieces that would add up to two strawberries. I also got probably a single ounce of whipped cream. I was "assured" that there was a bunch of strawberries in there, and I got two. With menu prices increasing and portion sizes decreasing add to that poor customer service. I don't see why there's any reason to go back here.

The appetizers were hot and fresh. I went during lunchtime for something light to eat. We ordered the mushroom, cheeseburger egg rolls, brussel sprouts, wong tons, and shrimp. I love the cucumber lemonade because it's so refreshing.

My daughter and I had a girl's day here in Charlotte. We popped by for lunch after shopping. We were seated immediately. Our server was very attentive. We ordered a cheesecake and burger sliders with fries. The food was delicious! Beautiful restaurant!

Google
Had an amazing time at the Cheesecake Factory in Southpark. Our server, Natalia ( I hope I spelled her name correctly), was so professional, knowledgeable of their menu, kind, friendly, and personable. The restaurant was extremely busy but we were still taken very good care of. I ordered the chicken quesadilla and the celebration cake for dessert. Both were absolutely delicious! I definitely recommend both dishes.

Been here a few times over the past few years, always had efficient and friendly staff. Food has always been up to par and worth it. I will continue to visit this restaurant every now and then.

Google
3.5 stars The only reason why I deducted stars is that this time around I receive the worst experience from Cheesecake Factory. We were a party of 2 at 11:45 AM with no wait. It took our server 10 mins before we were greeted, once we placed our orders it took 40 minutes to get our food. I typically get the pancakes and chicken tenders (I sub the waffle for pancakes) as my normal entree but my pancakes (2) came out thin, small than usual, and burnt at the bottom. Also, our server forgot to give us our cheesecake we ordered to go so we had to wait an 15 mins. We stayed from 11:45 am - 2:05 pm I still love the Cheesecake Factory so one experience can not hinder the other times of good service , but it will be awhile before I come back.

Yelp
The place to go for a special momentous occasion! This place is my GO-TO spot for any special event I so happen to have, such a a birthday, graduation, or any other special event! The staff were always friendly and polite when I order my food! The spaghetti definitely tastes and smells like it was created with love and passion! But nothing. NOTHING comes close to the Cheesecakes! And with a special treat! If you have a special occasion, they put a twist on the cakes by adding special messages, sprinkles, and maybe a sundae! This place has truly touched my heart when it comes to serving cakes and delicious food on the most important days of my life.

Yelp
Recently visited the establishment to order 1 slice of Cheesecake. When I arrived there were about 12 people waiting to pickup desserts and no one in the order line. I waited 10 minutes for someone to acknowledge my presence, before leaving. The most disappointing thing about my visit was the 91.5 Health Department score. It's time some self evaluation of your restaurant.

Michael F.

Yelp
Where to even start? 35+ minutes to get food when half of the establishment is empty, 16 minutes to be served the fries that goes with the burger... When explaining our situation to the manager, he disregard and walk away. As a Cheesecake Factory fan, I'm not sure I will even go back.

Yelp
We took a trip to Charlotte, NC on yesterday to visit the SouthPark shopping mall and decided to dine in at The Cheesecake Factory restaurant to have lunch. The food was absolutely delicious, the establishment was packed as usual but also exciting being able to chitchat with people over at the table next to you! We ordered the Korean Fried Cauliflower (my favorite) the Crab Wontons, the Skinnylicious Impossible burger with a Green Salad and the Skinnylicious Grilled Turkey Burger with a Green Salad. We all were watching our calories so we went with the Skinnylicious route! The restaurant is beautiful, with clean restrooms which is always a plus. Again, the food was amazing and our waitress Sara was the best! Very professional, polite and knowledgeable. We enjoyed our time there feasting!

Yelp
I use to love coming to the Cheesecake Factory i stopped coming bc there rating wasn't so hot, but i keep seeing the happy hours special i love happy hour so i decided to come. The service was very mid, our waiter was not attentive, he didn't even offer us any bread and you can tell he was just fake asf. At least the food was good, my favorite thing was the crab bits they where perfect! Honestly the food is always good I've never had anything i didn't like .

Yelp
I went here this past Sunday around 6 pm. Food was pretty good but food took a very long time to get to us. I ended up having to cancel another errand because the food took longer than expected. I would come back but maybe during the week day rather than weekend.

Yelp
We arrived after shopping and the wait was 2.5 hours. Luckily we found a high top that was empty which is self sitting. So we got to sit right away. Morris was our server, he was very helpful and friendly. We ordered a few drinks, and some small plates to share. The bread came out warm and amazing. Aside from that all the other items weren't the great. The margaritas were too sweet. The original margarita we later got was much much better. The spinach dip came with burnt chips. They tasted burnt. We asked for fresh chips and those took a while. The flat bread wasn't a flat bread at all. It was very doughy. The top was cooked but towards the bottom it was very chewy. We also got Thai chili shrimp. They didn't have much flavor and a lot of breading. The shrimp were also kind of fishy. Overall the service was great, but the food not so much. We were going to get dessert but decided not too in order to avoid being let down. Probably won't return.

Yelp
It has been a bit since my last review of The Cheesecake Factory. Like I previously stated, we just do not get to the CF often as it is a little out of our way and just prefer to support local restaurants as often as we can. I do appreciate how they now accept reservations. The last two times that we have been, we made reservations and were seated shortly after arriving. Both times I requested a booth as their normal tables are too close for my liking and they were able to accommodate. Our go to order: Food: Chicken Madeira and Steak Diane - with extra sauce because it is so good on those potatoes. Cheesecakes: Red Velvet Cheesecake, Adams Peanut Butter Cup Fudge Ripple Cheesecake, and the newest Cookie Dough Lover's Cheesecake with Pecans (Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough) are my top three. My husband's favorite is Cinnabon Cinnamon Swirl Cheesecake which is also very good. Definitely love their cheesecakes! We have leftovers of our meals and cheesecakes and all have been great at home. Service is not fast, so if you are looking for a quick bite, this is not it; however, I do enjoy that we are not rushed - can enjoy the appetizers, main entry, and dessert at a nice pace.

Yelp
This does not make any sense.... I have been here for an hour waiting on a text message for my cheesecake that should have been ready 30 mins. ago. You need to update your communication process around REALISTICALLY how long a customer should be waiting for curbside service. Don't give me a time and let the time go by without any notification on progress even after I called. CUSTOMER SERVICE is no longer a priority. It is now 4:33 pm and ticking.... Finally received order at 4:40 pm... after calling again.. never received a text message as indicated in the email. Do better... or give some realistic expectations on wait times.

Yelp
Service was slow !! Went to dinner with my bf I had the passion fruit margarita which tasted like lipgloss and I don't wear lipgloss so it wasn't from my lips then my bf had the strawberry margarita which was overly sweet ! Honestly my experience wasn't good at all the Thai shrimps was OKAY something which the breading then the crab cakes ehh idk not a fan so main course ! I had the shrimp and chicken gumbo it was season but It wasn't salt so it was lacking but something about it made my stomach turned immediately! Threw up as soon as I got the car ! My bf chicken sandwich was nasty asf!!! As mf bf said ! Idk I thought they would toss it in the sauce but nope they just squirt the Buffalo sauce ok top . It just wasn't a great experience for me. Felt Like I wasted 100$ on food just for not to enjoy it and just for me to be sick after . But the ambiance was nice I'd just go to Ruth Chris next time instead Of trying something I've been craving for Since I haven't it for a decade . Wont Be returning .

Yelp
My wife and I went here for lunch. Lunch is usually good because it's not too crowded. We were seated and she ordered a half and half tea and I ordered a sweet tea. As you may know the menu is very large so it's not easy to decide on what you want. After looking for a while we both decided. She went with the grilled chicken and avocado sandwich. I went with the Bacon Bacon Cheeseburger. The food arrived and we dug in. Her sandwich was very big. She said it was good and because of the size, only half was eaten. My burger was good but not the best. It was kind of dry and not much cheese on it. After eating the meal we were both pretty full but it was the main event time. Cheesecake! She knew exactly what she wanted. I wasn't too sure. After looking for a moment I finally decided on the Oreo. Both were very good as usual but a lot of sugar. We had a deal that gave us one of the cheesecakes for free so the meal (not including the tip) was $61.00

Natika G.

Yelp
This place was extremely busy...although it was busy the wait wasn't too long. It's connected to the mall so there is plenty of parking. Service was great despite it being busy. Our food took a while to arrive but we understood why. My food was cool but my friend did not like his food. His food was very bland. Our cheesecakes were also not that good.

Marcella S.

Yelp
I know that this place always seems to get a bad rap. Is it loud? It can be. Is it busy? Always! My family loves this place. If you can't find something to eat from this vast menu, then why are you eating out?? We have always been lucky and have had good meals. We have always had very good desserts that make it hard to decide on exactly which one to order. The portions are always massive. Their hours are great as well.

Caroline O.

Yelp
An employee tipped themselves $38 on our $12 cheesecake. The manager's response after we waited for an hour? "happens all the time"

Tameika M.

Yelp
This was the worst experience ever. We stopped here to grab cheese cake and a simple turkey burger and Ms Mac and cheese balls waited over 45mins for me to have to ask them to check on it and it still less not even being prepared.the only thing the manager said was sorry I asked for a refund they only refunded my order after having the other half sitting up partially cold . I'm really disappointed. I won't be back . As normal ambiance was nice not really loud but got me to come before work hours ended there was no need for this

Yelp
So let's start off with I loved a good Cheesecake Factory meal. This has been a staple place where me and the family would come to just relax on a Sunday or have a quick meal and drink. Never seemed to be any issues ever. WELL I hate to say tonight is not the same. We arrived for a late dinner around 8:25 on a Thursday night. Not too many people so we were told a 30 min wait time. Not too bad so we proceeded to walk around the mall to burn some time. Upon coming back, we noticed a few people come in and check in, grab a buzzer and sit. Slowly those same people (about 4 different incidents at this time) had walked back to the host stand to sit down. I approached the host stand at my 30 min mark and was told we have to wait another 15 mins. I couldn't understand this so I politely asked to speak with a manager which never came but I was promised they had to clean some tables and I should be coming up next. It is now 9:03 PM. I will update once I'm at the table. 9:14- I came back in to speak with the manager, he started they had been paging me but repeated back a number which wasn't mine. However when the host initially put our information in, she repeated my number back then which was correct. Get to the table and there are several tables open. I am just slightly frustrated at this point. Once seated, our server Tyra got our drink orders started: she truly was the right turn around for the night: I ordered the Tuscan Chicken and I must admit AMAZING. It was soo good. A highlight on a frustrating night. This is why I loved Cheesecake Factory but unfortunately the beginning may have turned me away.

Sam S.

Yelp
Zero for service Zero for approaching hostess stand professional demeanor and greeting Zero for quality of food Zero unrealistic extended wait time after ordering Zero for a disappearing waitstaff. Lots of noise and dishes breaking while you need to be serviced the floor staff is busy having non business related chat! On my end Never again.

Christy H.

Yelp
The food was pretty good. They were out of the wonderful brown bread somehow. Our server, Shawn, was very slow. Waited 10-15 min for him to come to the table. Service was awful the whole visit. Took a long time to get drinks. And food. And had to go find him to get our bill.

Edna L.

Yelp
My first time ever going to the Cheesecake Factory and this might be my last time going to the Cheesecake Factory. The wait at this location is incredibly long so expect a wait. Once I was seated the service was decent. Not great but not bad. I ordered the Chicken and Shrimp Jumbo and feel like it came from the freezer. I was pretty disappointed considering I've always heard good things about the Cheesecake Factory. The portions were huge so I didn't finish my entire meal... BUT I was so dissatisfied with the flavor I didn't even bother asking for a to-go plate. It just wasn't good. Drake lied to me and I don't like to go there. The atmosphere also gave 2001 middle class suburban kitchen.

Sherri J.

Yelp
First time ever eating here. We wanted to try the cheeseburger egg rolls but they were out so we tried the tex max eggrolls. They were actually pretty good... they were filled with black beans, spicy chicken, corn, peppers, onions and cheese. They were served with a delicious avocado cream sauce. For dinner I had the chicken piccata, it was pretty good as well, just could have used alittle garlic. It was a ton of food! We were actually too full to try the cheesecake :(

Sandra B.

Yelp
Stopped in for a late lunch while visiting Charlotte. The hostess on duty was nonchalant and not very friendly. She never looked us directly in the eye. We asked about patio seating but since they were short on servers there was no outdoor seating that day. There was a 20 minute wait but it didn't feel that long. A thoughtful manager (forget his name but he had a neck brace) jumped in to help the servers which we appreciated. Our server, Leanne, was beyond awesome. Three of us ordered grilled salmon with mashed potatoes and either broccoli or green beans. The salmon was tender but required additional salt. It would've been even better with a sauce of some kind. The sides were good. My husband ordered Korean bbq chicken with kimchi and white rice. You could also get brown rice. He asked for extra bbq sauce as he said it's what offered the flavor and took it up a notch. When polled, all four of us would get the same meals again. The restaurant is decorated beautifully with a relaxing, smart casual vibe. It's ideal for families, girls/guys night out, romantic dates and those dining alone. The menu is an entire book with food options for everyone. Lunch doesn't end until 5pm which saves you about $3-4. Parking was no problem for us on a Monday late afternoon. However, it's attached to the South Park Mall so I could see parking being an issue during peak hours. The mall offers valet so that's an option. Enjoy!

Shelby P.

Yelp
The ONLY reason I'm putting 2 stars is because the food was pretty decent and the server we had was pretty nice. No reservations are available here, so we went and got a table with a 50 minute wait at 7pm. Didn't get sat until 8:00. Then a 20 minute wait to get drinks, immediately put in an appetizer order when ordering drinks. Fast forward to an HOUR AND FOURTY FIVE MINUTES later the appetizer comes out, a few minutes later our entrees. The time wasn't even the worst part. They are so disorganized that the huge party next to us (who needed separate checks of course) got food on their receipt they didn't even order!! Nobody had ordered that food at that table! THEN gets accused (one woman later after the entire party leaves) that her party DIDNT PAY for their food! Insanity! I hope she got everything for free. We had a nice server in the beginning but then recruited a server on our own who immediately told us he wasn't our server, but after over an hour wait for our appetizer, I wanted my food. After the entree was delivered we had no silverware and had to stare at our food for 20 minutes before getting silverware. Cheesecake factory, you should be embarrassed.

Kate P.

Yelp
We went here very late at night (7pm). Our food did not come out. I came out. Happy Pride Month! #lgbtq #pride

Gregory B.

Yelp
Really great service, the server was incredibly nice and professional. Food was OK, nothing spectacular. Only got a basic item (chicken quesadilla), so maybe I need to order something more expensive next time. Tasted as expected, but the meat was a bit fatty. Also got an "original" cheesecake slice, which was a solid 4 out of 5.

Sheetal D.

Yelp
We have been coming to Cheesecake Factory for over 20 years and our absolute favorite dish has been removed from the menu- Chicken Marsala. Please bring this dish back!!! My entire family loves this dish and it's the best Chicken Marsala ever.

Nicole N.

Yelp
Baby we went during our week long out of town stay and there was a 2 hour wait. It was so congested and packed on a Sunday. So we just got 2 pieces of cheesecake for my husband and piece of cake to go for me, they didn't even include the 2nd cheesecake. We went next door to Maggianos and had an amazing dinner and it was so much more quieter.

Richard C.

Yelp
This was my first time ever eating here and I was not impressed at all. The service was kinda slow but that's probably to be expected with such a large restaurant. I had the steak tacos with cilantro lime rice and black beans. I had to wait over an hour and a half for my food, and my food was cold when I received it.

Barrett E.

Yelp
Recently revisited Cheesecake Factory, hoping for a pleasant lunch experience, but was deeply disappointed. The visit started off promisingly; we arrived on a Saturday and were seated immediately without much of a wait. (That should have been a red flag?) Our initial service seemed efficient, and we managed to place our orders quickly. However, the quality of our meal took a sharp downturn from there. The appetizers, including avocado eggrolls, arrived lukewarm and unappetizing. A significant delay of 40 minutes for our entrees, despite inquiring twice, further dampened our experience. The rice in my orange chicken lunch special had an inconsistent texture, suggesting it was undercooked. Moreover, the orange chicken tasted like it was from a frozen packet, inferior even to what you might find at a Trader Joe's. Honestly if they just went to Trader Joe's and heated it up and put it on a plate for me that would've been amazing. My brother got the Oriental chicken salad. I think his words were... " it's like if Panera boxed up your food and then just dumped it on a plate" Compounding our dissatisfaction was the disappearance of our waitress, especially when we needed to leave. We were forced to wait an additional 15 minutes beyond our intended departure time, turning our visit into a complete fiasco. Although I considered speaking to a manager, the urgency of our situation and the cumulative disappointments made it seem futile. The only convenient aspect was the ability to pay via a QR code on the receipt, which I used promptly to expedite our departure. Reflecting on the entire experience, it was thoroughly miserable. Not only am I deterred from returning to this particular location, but this experience has also soured my view of the Cheesecake Factory chain as a whole. I will not be recommending it and will likely avoid their other locations in the future. You know, I really should've read other yelp reviews before eating here what's wrong with me????

Aaliyah T.

Yelp
As far as the cheesecake goes: to die for. The consistency is so soft, delicate, & creamy. So far I have enjoyed the tiramisu & celebration cakes. I have not dined here, so I do not have any opinion on the menu. However, the atmosphere is gorgeous & it's in a great location.

Yelp
WOW...Even I'm shocked that it's been nearly 4 years since my last visit! I used to be addicted to their "Louisiana Pasta"...but their ridiculous waiting list-process made me lose interest...then I literally forgot about this place. I say "ridiculous" because they used to have this 2-part waiting process...You'd wait like 45 or more minutes to get into the "holding line"...then another 5 to 15 minutes or so to get seated. I don't think I've ever been to a restaurant where they had such a convoluted waiting list! I'm glad they were popular, but it was a case where their popularity was NOT serving us well. Even on off days and Sundays, the waiting list was ridiculously long and tedious!! ANYWAY, fast forward 3 years and 9 months, and I wanted to revisit "Louisiana Pasta"! I went for lunch around 12:45 pm...and shockingly enough, the wait time the hostess quoted me was 25-30 minutes. Then she got my phone number, and said she'd text me when ready. Now, already this was different than the way they did it nearly 4 years ago. They didn't text back then. Then, more surprisingly, they texted me within 20 minutes, saying my table was ready! When I walked up, they didn't put me in that dreaded "holding" line (2nd line) like they did back when. SO...not sure if this is the new norm, or that I just got lucky, but their waitlist process is much easier, quicker, and well, normal....not so ridiculously convoluted like before. Not sure if it's the new norm...or a fluke? So I ordered "Louisiana Pasta"...and it was heavenly! Also, I appreciated how they served a generous load of complimentary bread...even for the lunch portion. BTW, the service by my waitress was stellar. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed the dining experience here...from start to finish...for once in a LONG time. For the vast improvement in the waiting list-process alone, I'm adding a star from my last review. I just hope this is the new norm.

Yelp
Fraud. Theft. Stealing. Use any word you want, but an employee tipping themself the remainder of your $50 gift card after buying a $12 cheesecake is simply unacceptable. To add insult to injury, when bringing this up to the manager and receiving confirmation that a $38 tip had been applied we received a response of "it happens all the time". Fraud, Happening all the time? Might be a bigger issue here. Still no apology was provided. We do not recommend The Cheesecake Factory in South Park. The employees steal from you and the managers seem to enable it.

Maria L.

Yelp
The worst service ever, server do not care about customers.thought that with the renovations they will improve but not. Not recommended at all.

José A.

Yelp
What can I say about a Cheesecake Factory that hasn't been said? This place never disappoints. MENU AND DRINKS As always, a decent food and drink menu to choose from. My wife and I shared the Tuscan chicken and avocado and beet salad. I also ordered a regular margarita. Everything was delicious. WATCH OUT Make sure to ask your server about the sizes of the drinks. When I ordered my margarita, she let me know I was ordering the enormous glass, and I was glad she mentioned that as I only wanted a regular one. LOCATION AND PARKING Located in one of Charlotte's most famous malls with plenty of free parking. The bar area is pretty nice. Overall, highly recommended!

Yelp
We took my daughter here for her 30th birthday and it was a terrible experience. I don't even know where to begin.... It started with them seating 6 of us at a booth. we were elbow to elbow but didn't complain. Then, our waitress (Donna) taking 15 minutes to bring out our drinks. It did not get any better throughout our visit. We had to run her down for refills and the ranch dressing that we ordered with the meal did not come. Next, was my pregnant daughter ordering a well done burger and it coming out medium at best. The manager (Cliff) came to the table totally unapologetic and said he would have it back out in 5 minutes, 15- 20 minutes later after all of us were done eating, here comes her burger. I asked him if he had taken the burger off the bill since we were all done eating and he said he hadn't... still no apology from him or the waitress. I have to say that when you pay $$$$ for food and service that was not good, it is quite disappointing.. Even more so when they act as if they don't care. Finally, after waiting another 10-15 minutes for the check, they charged us for the free piece of cheesecake that my daughter had given the coupon to the waitress for. Well, that meant more waiting Just an all around failure on their part. We used to love the Cheesecake Factory and it was always a treat to go there on special occasions. Definitely NOT the case this time!!! .

Tracy K.

Yelp
Ordered takeout over$100.00 they gave me white hard bread no brown bread. That bread was as hard as a rock.Give people what they pay for if you want them to come back.Pay your staff fairly.Alot of customers so pay your staff the food will come out better.Birkdale Village

Reeka R.

Yelp
They are understaffed and need lots of help. I ordered curbside and they encourage you to stay in your car. I sat there for over an hour and they never came out. Even after I called in to let them know I was there. I finally go in, and the young man who kept going to his car was running curbside. He saw me on several occasions and ignored me while I was in my car. He hands me the food. I get home, and everything literally had died. My dessert (strawberry shortcake) was soup (ice cream) l spent over $100 on apps and dessert. I called the next morning and talked to a shift manager and she said she would have the store manager call me back and that I would receive a gift card. She supposedly took down my address. I never received a call back or gift card. I used to love the Cheesecake Factory. We would go often when we wanted an assortment of apps. After this experience I vowed to never go back. Y'all lost a loyal customer. You could have at least gave me a call back.

Yelp
I met a friend here to celebrate her birthday. Warning: they no longer give you a free piece of cheesecake for birthday celebrations. Double warning: They no longer serve my favorite Dulce De Leche cheesecake. Bummer. Our server was pleasant. We got the tuna nachos for $14 as an appetizer. It was good, but could have used just a bit more toppings. I got Steak Diane ... this is one of the few restaurants you can find this entree, so this is my go-to here. It was very good. My friend was a bit disappointed in her bang bang chicken and shrimp. The flavor was good; however, she had asked for white rice but they gave her brown rice. We waited a long time for a server to walk by to point out the mistake. For dessert, of course you need to get a cheesecake. Afterall, that's the whole point of coming here, am I right ? My friend got a berries and cheesecake. They decorated it very nicely. I honestly don't remember what cheesecake I got. The waitress said it was the closest they had to dulce de leche. Sorry, I wasn't that impressed. The texture was more custard-like than cheesecake-ey. I guess this restaurant is an ok choice if you are in the area. However, for better food there are sooo many more options in the South Park area.

Yelp
Had a great experience here on a Saturday night. When we showed up around 6:30 pm, the wait was 2 and a half Hours long but they told us the bar seating / high tops next to the bar were first come first serve. After camping out the area for 20ish minutes, we were able to get a high top for the 4 of us. The waiters were extremely busy and it took a little for someone to come clean off the table and for our waitress to come introduce herself. She was awesome and did a fantastic job though! Great service and not as slow as I thought it would be. We ordered everything in the beginning and our food came out in a timely manner and the free bread helped satiate us until then (pro tip- the brown bread is MUCH better than the sourdough). Food-wise, the jambalaya Cajun pasta was delicious with great seasoning and texture. The salmon was not bad, the mashed potatoes were delicious and the anniversary cheesecake was AMAZING and brought the whole dinner home. A great time, and the restaurant is so large and beautifully decorated. I would definitely be back! One of my favorite chains out there.

Yelp
we went on a Wednesday night for a group of 5. cheesecake factory was always a solid option in my books but tonight was different. our wait time for everything was extremely long. we were there for almost 3.5-4 hours and more then half the time was waiting waiting waiting. even though the taste of the food was great and our server was very nice, the wait time just really took some points off. would be down to come again if the wait time wasn't that long!

Yelp
It's still a theme park but you can see where corners are being cut. The menu is still expansive but some familiar flavors have been augmented. Chicken Madeira - it's been a while since I've had this last but during this go around it was very sweet. Odd. Evelyn's Pasta - what happened to the veggies??!!! This was wild. Half the veggies were missing. It was just peas and a smattering of lister vegetables. I use the word smattering generously. So why the 4-stars? Because they're hurting. I'm not one to kick someone when they're down. They could use a win. Our server was super cool, and that's saying a lot these days. Good service is harder and harder to come by. The ambiance still screams Cheesecake. What more can you ask for...

Yelp
Tried the lemon raspberry cheesecake and it was the perfect mix and not too sweet. It's a raspberry vanilla cake with lemon cheesecake and I really enjoyed it.

Yelp
Enjoyed a lunch today at Cheesecake Factory it's been a while at Sat at Bar, and Michelle made me a terrific Old Fashioned. I ordered fish and chips; lunch portion. However, it seemed closer to a dinner portion. It was an excellent meal, and fish was very scrumptious.

Yelp
Hadn't been to cheesecake in years and got to have lunch here with my parents last week. It was a busy Friday afternoon and we waited about 40 mins for a table. No biggie, we're patient. I love that they still have the plastic barriers between tables since Covid cases have been rising lately. Really appreciated that extra measure on their end. I'll start with my one con, I ordered 3 different appetizers and they were out of all 3. Our amazing server cited issues with getting certain things in due to the pandemic. I definitely understood that it was just frustrating trying to order when so much was out. Also, my Dad ordered an entree that was out so he had to go back to the drawing board too. Crazy times we're in. All good though! I ended up ordering a Greek salad, which I probably needed anyway lol. It was delicious! My cocktail for the evening was a bourbon honey or honey bourbon. It was also fantastic, for my second one I asked for it to be a lil stronger though ;). My entree was the crispy pineapple chicken and shrimp dish. I really really enjoyed this! It was the perfect kinda crispy and was delicious! Best leftovers lol. I also ordered a salted caramel cheesecake. Everything was wonderful and I can't wait to go back!

Yelp
Wow. What happened here? The food was cold, coleslaw was hot. Ordered fried shrimp with crispy fries and a sweet tea. I hate to say it but the food was not good. I love this place but if I'm paying these prices, food should be hot, service good. And before you say it, this place was NOT busy. Walked in and was seated within 10 minutes. Don't sit outside. You will be forgotten. Please, do better.

Yelp
4.5 HOURS. This is the amount of time I spent at Cheesecake Factory at my last visit, and the majority of this time was spent WAITING. It saddens me deeply to write this review because I typically LOVE Cheesecake Factory. I have visited multiple locations, so often, that I have tried nearly every one of their cheesecakes, but this was by far, the worst experience I have ever had. Here's the breakdown: For the first 2.5 hours, hubby and I waited to be seated. We were unable to make reservations because they only allow a limited number of reservations for parties under 6. We were given an estimate of 1.5-2 hours for the wait time, and while this was a long wait, we decided to stay. As it reached close to 2 hours, we asked for an update at the front desk, mostly to make sure that we were still on the list. We were told that we would be seated in the next 10 minutes. HALF AN HOUR later, we were seated. Also, as we were waiting to be escorted to our table, we overheard the front staff informing the next few parties that the wait time would be about 3 hours, which would have been well past their closing time, which was not pointed out to guests. I'm not sure why the front desk staff simply did not inform guests that they could no longer accommodate any more guests. Some people actually considered waiting! Once we were seated, we waited another HALF HOUR before anyone acknowledged us at our table. Once our server finally came to our table, we placed our orders for everything (drinks, appetizers, entrees, desserts) to try to reduce further delays. He stated that he would bring us silverware. Our server also informed us that it would be about an hour for our cheesecakes to be ready and asked if we wanted to have them boxed to-go. We said that was fine, just to make things easier for the staff, but this seemed odd. They were not closing in an hour, we would likely still be dining in an hour, and yet it was as if we were already being rushed out despite only just being acknowledged after being ignored for half an hour! Another HALF HOUR went by before we received our glasses of water. We still had no silverware, and so we asked for silverware when the waitress brought us water. She never brought us silverware. In fact, we ended up receiving and finishing our appetizer long before any silverware was ever brought to the table. About an hour after we had placed our orders, the manager approached our table, not to apologize for the unnecessarily and ridiculously long wait times, but to tell us that we had to change one of our main dishes (Chicken Parmesan "Pizza Style") because he "couldn't get the crust right" and had no more ingredients to make a new batch. I'm not sure why it took so long for them to notify us, but alas, another delay and inconvenience. Food-wise, my Bistro Shrimp Pasta (battered shrimp, mushrooms, tomato, and arugula with spaghetti and basil garlic lemon cream sauce, $20.95) did not look very appetizing but tasted okay. The Eggroll Sampler (avocado, Tex Mex, cheeseburger spring rolls, and chicken taquitos, $16.95) was tasty (but we had no napkins to wipe our hands). Hubby ended up switching to the Crusted Chicken Romano (breast of chicken coated with a romano parmesan cheese crust, served with pasta and tomato sauce, $21.50), which he enjoyed, but he was very disappointed that he couldn't try the pizza style dish. We ate our cheesecakes at home, which ended up being much preferred since we were tired of wasting so much time at the restaurant. When our bill finally arrived (which took an extraordinarily long time to receive), we noticed that one of the entrees was not included, so we assumed that they were comping us for having to change our order through no fault of our own. However, after we presented our payment, the receipt that we received back suddenly increased by about $30!!! And of course, they took away the itemized receipt so we had no idea why we were suddenly being charged more. Talk about shady! When we asked for the itemized receipt, they gave us a receipt that totaled the new amount. We weren't upset about the wait time to be seated because we were informed upfront of the wait time and voluntarily chose to wait. However, everything that occurred afterward was an absolute nightmare. And none of the staff ever seemed apologetic about it either.

Yelp
We went here on a Tuesday afternoon for lunch. They had plenty of options. We ordered some drinks and appetizers. We had the chicken sliders with lettuce tomato and Mayo. The chicken was seasoned and cooked perfectly. We also had the egg roll sample plate. It had 4 different types of egg rolls with sauces. It came with avocado, cheeseburger, southwest and samosa. They were all good. We also order some calamari. The calamari was a little bland but it was cooked nicely. The service was great. Our server was very nice and took good care of us. There was plenty of parking.

Yelp
The food and drinks were great, the waiter was very friendly, but the wait after our order was taken is difficult to understand. We arrived at a good hour and were seated immediately, but waited about 45 minutes to get appetizers for our group of two. Good food, good service, clean restaurant - but you're going have to wait.

Yelp
We ordered the chicken Madeira, steak Diane and the bacon cheeseburger with crab bites as an appetizer. The crab bites were delicious and so were the entrees. Our server, Emma, was excellent!

Yelp
Service and food has declined and not worth the it anymore! We typically sit at the bar to eat. We sat down. Waited. People next to us walked up for a drink. They were served before we were. Once we sat down at the bar, the counter wasn't wiped down before the cloth napkins were placed down. When the food came out it wasn't as described in the menu. My wife ordered the chop salad (which she gets all the time) and it was missing the avocado, bacon and apples. It was mostly just lettuce. Checking this restaurant off of our to go list going forward. It's not worth it. All the employees were talking amongst themselves and not servicing guests. You can tell they didn't want to be there either.

Yelp
This has been one of my favorite restaurants for years. I love the variety of items on the menu. I mean SO many options from appetizers to entrees to drinks and dessert. There is literally something for everyone. Over the years I think I've only gone once for weekend brunch but even that was epic. Some of favorite menu items are the egg rolls, calamari, Buffalo blasts, zucchini fries, chicken Marsala, spicy chicken chipotle pasta and farfalle with chicken and roasted garlic. The only thing with that farfalle is they sometimes overcook the pancetta and it throws the flavor of the whole dish off. Dining in or eating out, I always have a good experience and I love that the portions are not skimpy. That means I always have leftovers! And don't get me started on the brown bread. The white sourdough I will eat because of hunger but my preference is that warm brown bread with soft butter. I always ask for more. I've even purchased it from Publix lol. I used to be a huge fan of the cheesecake but I'm pretty sure it's all served from frozen these days and my taste for it has waned. I can go for the food and be satisfied. And I'll usually take a glass of that raspberry lemonade too. Always a good time at The Cheesecake Factory and always a good meal.
