This was my first time going to The Cheesecake Factory, and it definitely won't be my last. The food and service were outstanding. The pastas were delicious and the portions were huge. We really enjoyed the avocado egg rolls and fried zucchini as well.

I've eaten at Cheesecake Factories all over the country, and each time the food, the ambiance and the service have been great. At the Columbia, Maryland location, the streak continued. I had the grilled Fish Tacos with the Roadside Sliders as an appetizer. The server constantly came to check in with us to make sure everything was okay with the food and that our drinks were refilled. Another excellent visit.

Let me save y’all the pain I went through: The Cheesecake Factory in Columbia, Maryland is a culinary catfish. I pulled up expecting flavor and left with a mouthful of disappointment and a 40-minute wait time for dry, flavorless slop. I ordered the Jamaican-style shrimp with rice and beans, thinking I was about to get hit with some bold Caribbean fire. Instead, I got Sahara-seasoned shrimp, dry rice, and black beans that tasted like they took a nap on the stove. Zero spice. Zero sauce. Zero soul. And just when I thought it couldn’t get worse — the Thai fried noodles came out. DRY AGAIN. No flavor. No moisture. It was like chewing regret. What I got looked like it was cooked during a drought and seasoned with regret. The rice? Dry like it came from the Sahara. The beans? Bland and lifeless like they fell asleep in the pot. The shrimp? They had the nerve to call it “Jamaican” when it tasted more like it got scared of spice and took the next flight to Nebraska. 40 minutes for food that tasted like it had been sitting in the witness protection program. Bland. Disrespectful. Absolutely not worth the time or money. Cheesecake Factory Columbia, this ain’t it. This is the first time I've ordered takeout and it is the last. I dine-in here a couple times a month, your takeout is a complete disaster. Unfortunately, I don't have the time to dine in all the time, and for yall to serve this trash is diabolical. Final Rating: 1 star for the shrimp existing and cut in half. Serving two shrimp sliced in half to make it look like it's four. . -5 stars for how they tasted. Pure trash. Would I recommend? Only if you’re into disappointment and dry food therapy. Let me be crystal clear — if you’re thinking about pulling up to the Cheesecake Factory in Columbia, Maryland, just go ahead and save your time, your money, and your taste buds the trauma. ****The absolute worst. Just to think that I let my mother’s early to rush here for this trash. And the tall slim guy behind the counter had an attitude. Telling me to go see the other lady about picking up my order. I mean, he was just standing around looking simple. Attitude and bad food is NEVER good. As many times as I come here, this was the horrible.

We had the burger, pasta and pineapple upside down cake cheesecake and it was delicious but, the best part was the service. Todd our server was Par Excellent, I thought I was dining at The Ritz-Carlton or Four Seasons! Todd is not a star but a legend. Kind, courteous, knowledgeable and has a pleasant demeanor and disposition. When you have fabulous service you can eat anything, and Todd I think is a true example of this. He is a true Ambassador of The Cheesecake Factory. When you visit ask for him and you will see what I mean. Overall great food and service.

We recently dined at the Cheesecake Factory and had a somewhat disappointing experience, especially considering the occasion. We had made a reservation and noted that it was our son’s 17th birthday, but unfortunately, there was no acknowledgment of that at any point during our visit. That lack of recognition took away from what should have felt like a special night. On the positive side, the reservation did help us get seated quickly, and the atmosphere was as nice as always. However, the service left much to be desired. It took a long time for our order to be taken, and our server never came by to check on us after the food arrived. One of the pasta dishes even seemed to be missing an ingredient, though we weren’t completely certain. Despite the subpar service, most of the food was good, and we do like the overall vibe of the restaurant. We’ll likely return, but we hope to receive more attentive service—especially if we’re celebrating a special occasion.

I was very disappointed with the food. I am sorry I would have given 3 stars overall but nothing from the appetizers nor main course met my standards let alone impressed me. I'm sorry but only the drink was good. I had mac and cheese for my appetizer. I thought to myself that mac and cheese can't fail me, but it did. It came in 3 balls with a hard shell and the inside was way to creamy, which irritated my stomach. They also gave bread, so service has 4 stars because it was up to par. Moving on to the main dish, I had orange chicken with rice on the side. When I saw the orange chicken on my plate I was excited because it was what I expected. But when I started eating it, it lacked flavour, particularly sweetness. The chicken inside past the crust also didn't taste right. I think it was that it was either that the texture was not quite right, or it was too dry. I was very disappointed. I thought to myself that the orange chicken from panda express was better. Lastly in terms of food was the white rice. It looked fine, but when I tasted it it tasted a little undercooked, not soft enough, but that would be fine of they taste was up to par, but it was not. It tasted very plain with no flavour at all. I felt like a cow on a field in rural Nebraska munching on grass. The service was good, the food just costed too much. The atmosphere was good, although the building was a little too dark. I just think that the cooks should have a little more passion in their dishes. I just think that for such a luxury restaurant that the restaurant should serve higher quality food than the Panda Express in the malls' food court.

This place never misses, no matter the location. Service was great, the eggroll sampler didn’t disappoint. We ordered their infamous turkey burgers but forgot to take the pic. Their sautéed spinach always goes well with my burger. Great Happy Hour specials as well.

Edit: Came back on a different day. Sunday lunch is a decent time with no wait. Good service! Renee’s lunch special is a good deal, but the turkey sandwich is too dry. The other portions are good in size. First time I came, we booked a reservation for 6:30pm on a Saturday night (this is where it all went wrong), had to wait in a line to check in and then was told to wait. Waited 15 minutes and asked what was up and then informed that the reservation I made a week prior was only a placeholder, not guaranteeing me a table. Maybe I’m uncultured, but what else would a reservation be for? Canceled and left. Cheesecake is good, regardless.

Yelp
Tons of free parking. Accepts cash and credit card. Highly recommend you make reservations when you come here. It gets very busy here. We ordered a few dishes from here from their ribeye steak, mac and cheese and their shrimp rice tomato dish. The shrimp dish was huge in portion, but a bit salty. The Mac and cheese was okay, nothing out of the ordinary. The ribeye steak was one of the most expensive items on the menu and it was disappointing. The steak was really thin and was a bit overcooked. The mash potatoes was decent, but the star of the plate "ribeye" steak was disappointing. The staff here appears Super Busy and was tough to get their attention. They have tons of tables here. Some staff were friendly whereas others just walk past you. Other than that, it was an okay experience: food is just okay.

Yelp
Easter Breakfast Disappointment My mother and I visited The Cheesecake Factory on Easter morning hoping to enjoy a special breakfast together, but unfortunately, the experience left a lot to be desired. I had to branch out from my usual shrimp scampi since that was lunch and tried their chilaquiles, which sounded promising on the menu. Sadly, what I received was disappointing: no cheese (a key component of chilaquiles), and the sour cream I requested on the side had dark spots in it that looked like mold and incredibly off-putting. My mother ordered coffee twice, and both times it was lukewarm at best. They weren't very busy either. We went right after 8:30 church service. I understand things may not be perfect, but hot coffee and correctly prepared food are basic expectations. She did say her breakfast flat bread was good. To be fair, our server was very kind and attentive throughout the meal, and the green sauce on the chilaquiles was tasty. But other crucial ingredients were missing, and they served it with parmesan instead of the traditional queso fresco or cotija, which just didn't work with the dish. Overall, while the service was good, the food quality and preparation were disappointing enough that we won't be returning for breakfast again. A real letdown for a holiday outing.

Yelp
The Cheesecake Factory is a powerhouse. It has everything. Yet I do not know why I always feel like the best thing here is the dessert. Bathrooms and restaurant was clean . (I really hate that they sit the silverware on the table unwrapped) These servers are slammed with tables and endless orders. They are really nice but your food may not be hot when you get it. I ordered buffalo wings that were cold when I received them. They were tiny pigeon wings and 15.50 btw. I didn't complain about it because I saw how busy the server was with his section. My friend ordered the spaghetti and meatballs. The 3 yummy Meatballs are HUGE, and pasta was OK. The next best thing was my drink the " whiskey smash". I could have drank 3 but I was driving. I ordered a bacon bacon burger and fudge cake to go. The prices and food taste don't exactly match . I'll stick to my dessert at this location.

Yelp
I really like their brunch. Sit outside and have a cold mimosa and girl talk with your friends. I love how they acknowledge your birthday and half-birthday as well. So make sure you sign up for their rewards to get discounts and free slices of cheesecake. Enjoy!

Yelp
Went here for my dad's birthday and we did not have a good experience. I will say this was my first bad experience here. First we were seared as normal and the host said I'll get your drinks your server will be over soon. We waited about 20-30 mins before the server came. He immediately came over (very very nice guy) and started taking out orders. We never got our bread so we let him know after he took the appetizer order and he brought it over. Food took so long. About an hour. And our food wasn't hot. My dad and fiance got salads but they had forgotten their dressing. My father I laws food was just terrible very dry, he had to send it back. My pasta wasn't hot. So we talked to the manager and she offered some things to make our experience better. They also forgot my father in laws drink. I've honestly never seen it like that and was very disappointed. I was happy the manager spoke to us. And honestly we had the nicest server. I'm not sure if it was kitchen issues or what was going on but it was my parents first experience and I don't think they will be back. For reference we got there at 330 and didn't finish til 630.

Yelp
I live in Annapolis and I have a friend who lives in Baltimore County, so we have met at this Cheesecake Factory location many times over the past 8 years. But boy, it has really gone downhill. We arrived today at 2:15 on a Friday for a late lunch. The place was busy but they found us a table. We sat there for 15 minutes before a server named Denzell approached us to take our drink order. Since it was busy and we had already waited, we gave him the whole order. The drinks came out relatively quickly but that was it. No lemon as requested but there was no one to ask. We waited 30 minutes for our food (a salad for me & a sandwich for her-- nothing fancy). I had ordered the Beet Salad from the Skinnylicious menu, which I have enjoyed before. At $12.95, it is fairly healthy and quite reasonable. We flagged the server down to ask about our food & he said it would be out soon. About 10 minutes later, the food arrived. He brought me this HUGE salad on a turkey platter-sized plate. As he put it down, I told him this is not the way it has looked before, this is twice as big. He said, " yeah, that's it." So some food is better than no food, and he was gone. But in addition to the size, it was drowned in at least a quart of dressing so everything was really oily. I ate what I could, picking out bits of this and that and leaving a big mound of oily lettuce. We had to flag him down again for the bill. I was charged $19.95 for a Vegan Cobb Salad (over 1,000 calories instead of 290). As I gave him my card, I told him again this was not what I had ordered but he insisted that it was. Maybe because the place was so noisy he could not distinguish "beet" from " vegan," who knows, but arguing with a customer is not the way to win friends and influence people. The bathroom was also dirty, with TP on the floor. There was only someone at the hostess stand occasionally. They are definitely understaffed. So long story short, we will be looking for another meeting place for lunch. It's a shame because it used to be nice.

Yelp
I took my daughter on a "Mommy-Daughter" date and she decided to go to the Cheesecake Factory. She thought it looked like a castle and that they made the cheesecake there in a factory like setting. She was very surprised to see otherwise. We had the typical complimentary bread and butter, dumplings, kids spaghetti and meatballs, and the seared ahi tuna salad. I was PLEASANTLY surprised with my salad. It was DELICIOUS. Our server, Uche (sp.) was super sweet and accommodating. Great experience!

Yelp
It's a rare day that you walk away from a Cheesecake Factory and still be hungry. There food is always good and the menu is massive. If you can't find something on this menu that makes you happy then you are the epitome of a finicky eater! The only knock on this place - and it's not really their fault - is that there almost always a crazy wait time (pro tip: create an account on their app and you can frequently skip the line). I'm sad that their grilled artichokes aren't on the menu any more but their food across the board is quite good.

Yelp
Came to this location for the first time for a group meet up. Our group was about 10 people and we took a couple of high tables with chairs at the bar area. Our group ordered a few drinks and a couple of appetizers. What's hot - Quality. Delicious. Some in our group ordered nachos, which they really liked. It smelled delicious and you could tell it was recently made with the freshly melted cheese. - Portions. Good value for money. The nachos appetizer was plenty big to feed a family of 4. - Location. Conveniently located at the Columbia Mall and easy to find. - Menu. It's been several years since I was last at a Cheesecake Factory. Their menu appears to have changed, which is not a bad thing. It's extensive and appears there is something for everyone, possibly vegans, as well. What's not - Noise level. We arrived around 3pm on a Saturday afternoon, so it wasn't too busy at the time we arrived. Around the time we left, there were a lot more customers, so the noise level was higher. However, what made it worse was that the restaurant started playing music rather loudly, which definitely hurts the ears and makes it difficult to carry on a conversation. - Service. At the bar, it appears it's haphazard. We were able to flag down wait staff some of the times, but it was hit or miss. For example, just getting water refills was difficult. To be fair, the bar isn't full service. My point is to be prepared and know what type of service you want. If you want food and drinks, don't expect reliable service at the bar. - Parking. Fortunately, it's a decent size mall parking lot. However, be prepared for it be packed depending on the day and time, which also means be careful when you're walking around trying to find your car again. - Make reservations. This location appears rather busy, even during non-peak hours. I'd recommend making a reservation to guarantee seating and service. Final answer Willing to come back to this location, but not a first choice.

Yelp
Eh, it's a fine option around Columbia but wouldn't be my first pick. I came here with a friend for their first time ever and my first time in decades, and this reaffirmed why. The bread is always the star of the show, but our entrees were lacking honestly. My friend said their chicken and avocado BLT sandwich was lacking flavor and said it's better at Panera, and while I enjoyed my skinnylicious (I don't like the name of that menu) crispy chicken sandwich and side salad, the side salad seriously could have been so much better. Only mixed greens covered in a basic balsamic vinaigrette? Come on. I had expected at least a couple other vegetables, even carrot or tomato or cucumber. The service was also quite slow for midday on a Thursday afternoon, our waitress took quite a while to bring us things like sauces that should have came with our orders initially and to-go boxes for our leftovers. What stood out though, is how quick and gracious our waitress was when we discovered the cheesecake we ordered had my friend's allergen, at replacing the cheesecake with a safer option. While I don't think this is a bad option, I do think I could have been more satisfied elsewhere for lunch.

A B.

Yelp
My rating is mostly based on the food, my waitress was patient and nice, and I actually enjoyed the ambiance but I eventually did feel woozy with a headache. The lighting felt cozy and private, and it was a full house, but the music felt louder than it needed to be. Eventually my family and I felt like we were in a haze because the lighting was too low with louder music. As for the food, it was overpriced and tasted the equivalent of frozen boxed food. We ordered the carbonara without bacon and peas, with added chicken. We also ordered the cheeseburger that comes with fries. For appetizers, we ordered the margherita flatbread pizza. It was mostly sauce, and the dough sagged like cartoon pizza. The bread they brought in was incredibly tough, hard, and stiff. The whole grain bread was hot on the inside, but the white bread was not. As for the carbonara pasta (without bacon and peas, added chicken), they gave me a big plate of pasta but very small diced chicken. It was probably a quarter of a chicken breast, possibly less. I paid an additional $7 for added chicken, I was expecting a proper chicken cutlet over my pasta. The chicken was unseasoned and tasteless, and very rubbery. The pasta was stiff when it came out but the plate was incredibly hot. The pasta itself wasn't steaming or really hot, so I don't understand why the plate was. The pasta looked like it's been sitting. The sauce was all at the bottom. It was not good at all. For the cheeseburger, it tasted better than the pasta. We requested well-done, but it was mostly charred (that's their well-done I suppose). My waitress was sweet and patient, I took some time trying to decide what to eat. When I wanted spaghetti noodles for pasta with chicken, she immediately recommended the carbonara. She checked in with us frequently to see if we were ready to order and drink refills. My overall experience was dimmed significantly due to the food. We took a few bites and were full but not content of the food.

Yelp
Cheesecake Factory was my favorite goto for Fish n' Chips. Really mild flavored fish with just the perfect ratio of batter. My recent order was unrecognizable in looks and taste! The fish was excessively dry in 4 strips that looked more like fast food chicken fingers. The fries were the same (just less of them) with a very strong vinegar coleslaw. PLEASE bring back the original Fish n' Chips!

Yelp
Food was good and the service was ok. They had the bar tender serving the bar and the bar area. The ladies room was really dirty. On a Saturday evening with a full house they neglected this area.

Yelp
Arrived at 11AM on a Saturday with a large party. Cheesecake factory is one of the very few brunch places that can actually accommodate a table of more than 10. We were assigned one main waitress, who did a good job tending to our table. Despite how busy she was, we received really good service, though the food took a little longer than typical to come out. When it did arrive, it was all hot and fresh, and of course each dish was flavorful. I like their brunch selection as well as lunch items including hearty appetizers, such as buffalo cauliflower, and brussels sprouts. After getting suggestions from the waitress, I decided to try something new and opted for the chipotle, chicken pasta. It was interesting in a good way and sweeter than I had anticipated. I don't think the chipotle flavor was really prominent, but I think the flavors were rich. The texture of the pasta paired with the chicken and vegetables was a nice blend. I ordered the lunch portion, which was plenty. I ordered a French Toast to go. It packaged nicely with the strawberries and syrupy on the side. I look forward to exploring more of the breakfast and brunch items soon. Located at Columbia Mall, there is plenty of parking. Arrive early if you don't have a reservation because it gets packed on the weekends.

Yelp
The lunch portions are the way to go. I met my friends here for lunch and we ordered a few appetizers. I love the tex mex eggroll. they have a nice crispy shell, and the chicken on the inside is excellent with corn and beans. We had a lunch size portion of the lettuce wrap. It was OK could've used more chicken. Finally our last appetizer was a lunch size portion of the Chinese chicken salad; this is the best salad. It seems like we ordered a lot of appetizers and that probably is true for lunch. We ordered lunch size portions of the miso salmon. It truly is amazing on mashed potatoes. Perfect flavoring nicely cooked and a nice size portion. My friend ordered the shrimp and pasta she enjoyed it finally we had cheesecake and chocolate cake for dessert, both did not disappoint very rich. We ended up taking most of it home. I would like to say that our service was wonderful. Kevin was our waiter. He was very attentive to our orders and request. He even went the extra mile to bring out little ice creams for my friends who had birthdays one day apart.this is a great place to go anytime for families, on dates or more. The food is always consistently good.

Yelp
I am generally a fan of The Cheesecake Factory but my latest visit was not quite up to par. We arrived a little before 9pm on a Monday (restaurant closes at 10pm) as it was conveniently located next to AMC theatres. There was no wait and we were seated immediately. Our table was tucked away in a dark corner. The restaurant was pretty empty, with ~10 tables occupied (many were wrapping up their meals). Some of my silverware still looked dirty, but fortunately it was ones that I didn't need for my meal. I'm definitely bummed that they were out of bread on our visit :(. Given that the bread is complimentary, I can't be too irked about it, but did you really go to The Cheesecake Factory if you didn't get the brown and white bread? After we placed our orders, our server notified us that they were currently out of bread, but it would be brought out when it was ready. When the entrees came out, we asked about the bread again. We were told that they would check again but the kitchen might've been done making more bread for the night (9:15pm). No word on the bread ever again, and no bread was ever brought out. I can only assume they decided to call it a night on the bread... but it would've been nice if the server closed the loop instead of just leaving us to wonder if the bread was ever coming. Service was okay; we got our entrees in a reasonable amount of time (despite no bread service). We weren't verbally checked on until the plates were empty/it was clear that we were done eating, though one drink refill was brought without prompting. My go-to order is the crusted chicken Romano. Overall, the dish was still solid and consistent with previous orderings, but some of the noodles were clumpy, if I'm going to nitpick. My friend ordered the herb-crusted salmon which comes with a lemon sauce, but that lemon sauce was more like a lemon spread because it was super gloppy. The women's bathroom was unattended and kind of trashy. The paper towel trash bin was overflowing, and all of the stalls had loose toilet paper rolls laying about instead of being orderly attached. With the state of things, the restaurant probably should've just closed at 9pm. At the end of the meal, we were presented with the check which has a QR code printed on the receipt to conveniently pay on your phone. Unfortunately, the receipt printing was shoddy (faint and streaky - not ideal for scanning a unique QR code), and the lighting in the restaurant was too dim to get a good scan anyways. This made this payment method ineffective, so the server had to manually run our cards, but she was friendly about it. Just a note, their suggested gratuity amounts were based on the post-tax amount. The receipt also states that The State of Maryland requires a 9% alcohol sales tax be applied to all alcoholic beverages - just something to keep in mind if you plan to imbibe. It wasn't a horrible experience, and I'll still likely return to this Cheesecake Factory, but there is some room for improvement.

Yelp
I got an email from Cheesecake Factory for a promotion. Spend $50 gift cardand get $10 bonus card. The $50 gift card worked but $10 didn't. The waitress tried 3 times. C'mon CF you guys should better. Makes me not even wanna go. I'm stopping their emails.

Yelp
I stopped here after shopping at Columbia Mall and was really hungry. I ordered crab dip with steak dinner, mashed potatoes and salad. My friend ordered a burger and fries with wings as an appetizer. The waiter was friendly he barely checked on us, we had to ask for condiments. The crab dip was good, but the chips they serve with it were extremely hard. My steak was excellent, the potatoes and fries were cold. I ordered one Cadillac Margarita it was okay. We just asked for to go boxes because I was going to go home and warm my potatoes up so I can eat the completed meal together. The salad was good too but I would try another location next time.

Yelp
We went here for dinner because I had some gift cards to use up. It's been a while since I've been to The Cheesecake Factory, but it's still the same great place. It was back then. We started off with the Tex Mex Eggrolls, and they were amazing. I ordered the Crispy Pineapple Chicken and Shrimp with brown rice, and it was great. My wife got the Spicy Rigatoni Vodka, and my son got some garlic shrimp and pasta dish (I can't remember the name). Everybody loved their meals. The bread they brought to the table was also fantastic. It was warm, and they brought real butter to go with the bread. I got the Banana Cream Cheesecake, and my wife and son split the Triple Berry Delight Cheesecake. Both were amazing. We will definitely be back.

Yelp
The service at the bar was fine no complaints. The drink at the bar tasted funny. I ordered a vodka and tonic with a lime. For some reason it was slightly sweet, not sure why but I did not order another. We had the Brussels sprouts with bacon and maple syrup. They weren't bad but at the bottom of the skillet was a pool of syrup. The bow tie pasta was ok needed a bit more sauce. The shrimp scampi and steak Diane was very under whelming. The steak was not fresh but reheated, and the mushrooms seemed to be an after thought. The portion of mushrooms to steak was a joke. Only got 3 shrimp and a heaping amount of unseasoned mashed potatoes. So disappointed didn't even get dessert.

Yelp
I had all but given up on The Cheesecake Factory before my visit to this location (Columbia). I was very pleased with my experience this go round. Despite our large party, the server was very responsive and pleasant. I particularly respect how she enlisted the help of her colleagues so our experience was not compromised. My usual order of the egg roll sampler and crab dip did not disappoint. I really appreciate the staff's contribution to my niece's birthday dinner.

Yelp
Bar service is not the best. They are s-l-o-w and if we didn't already know that they were covering all drinks and desserts for the restaurant, we would have thought that they were blatantly ignoring us. However, we were only there for dessert, so we sat patiently. My partner ordered a milkshake which was provided to him within 10 minutes of ordering. I ordered the strawberry shortcake and it was provided to me exactly 27 minutes after his milkshake. Talk about forgetting about someone's order. That is close to 50 minutes from sitting down to getting an order, ridiculous. I thought we were going to have cancel on the strawberry shortcake due to the movie starting soon--instead I was rushed to down it and run over to the theater. Was it worth it? No. It was bland in taste. Strawberries were hard and tart and the biscuit was dry and tasteless. To top it off, it is massive--but who wants a massive tasteless dessert? Stick to the cheesecake.

Yelp
The food was no different than any other Cheesecake Factory in the country. Good food but I hardly think the meals are ever worth more than $16. We spent so much time waiting around. I would like to suggest that our waitress pursues a career at the DMV- Hope that helps! We waited 15+ mins for bread and another 10 for water. Food came out at a reasonable time but one of our party members wasn't served. We waited another 10+ mins until the waitress came over and asked how the food was until we let her know he didn't have food. I got the Korean Fried Chicken- just a reminder to myself to never order East Asian food outside of a restaurant that specializes it. It wasn't horrible but definitely disappointing. I did however try the Cajun pasta and was floored by the flavor. And per usual- cheesecake was fine. I've had similar quality from walmart but definitely tasty enough to finish off a meal. Overall The Cheesecake Factory will always be a very meh experience. Update: I should've waited to submit- we just waited another 20 mins to give our payments. FOUR tables left near us while we waited.

Felicia E.

Yelp
Terrible service and food - you always expect to wait for a table but in exchange you get good food and service. We got neither. We waited 40 min for my son to get half cooked pasta. Our spicy tuna appetizer looked old. Never going back.

Yelp
Edwardo..did you put this delicious looking gumbo together with all that good stuff.. home made thru and thru..!? home made rice, no doubt..!like Jean says, that sauce gives with the word Gumbo together makes the gumbo flavor buds go crazy, knowing what's in that bowl.. Joe's Crab Shack bowl!?had to taste so good ..this week or past days is seafood week..eating good Comments from brothers. Actually, that was pretty good, had all the elements, except lacked gumbo file, weak on the rue, shells' stock depth; of course no boiled egg, slim on the the parsley. Long grain fully steamed rice. So for me it was a 3 out of a 5. Didn't have that umami as with dad's.

Yelp
It's been a long time since I've been at this Cheesecake Factory location (or anyother CF ) Service remains excellent - food came out prompty, servers were pleasant & efficient. Food? What a let down! I had my usual salad (BBQ Chicken Ranch). The chicken tasted like deli meat with drizzle of BBQ sauce, limp romaine lettuce, some sort of black bean mush...not the salad that I remember. Sad to see the quality change so much...no wonder it was empty at lunch time.

Yelp
I ordered a vegan cobb salad and a slice of cheesecake to go. The Salad was DELICIOUS! The slice of cheesecake... I was not a fan of it. If I'm not mistaken, they've changed the recipe. I wasn't happy BUT it wasn't bad. Just comparing the previous profile of flavors to what was done today (crust and all). The atmosphere is CHEESECAKE FACTORY ( if that makes any sense). I do like the fact that if I was to sit down and eat, I could also easily take a stroll and get rid of the lethargy that comes with dessert.

Yelp
This was the shortest wait time for food in the area, so we decided to wait. Whew....our server was nice (hence the 2nd star) but the food was way over cooked. Our beverages were, however, on point ! I started with a basic margarita and my friend had the peace margarita. Yummy! We skipped the appetizers and went right to the entrees. I ordered the bang bang chicken and shrimp and both chicken and shrimp were OVERCOOKED. My dining friend ordered the jambalaya and the pasta was over cooked too. When we went to order dessert, we found out the pumpkin cheesecake was sold out ! Sigh Wait on the other spots if you can. I was so disappointed in the food at this location :(

Yelp
I didn't sit in the establishment as I was doing an order to go, but it was excellent. I put my order in online and it was ready in about 25-30 minutes. I was told to go to the dessert area it inquire about how to pick up my order. My strawberry cheesecake was ready right away and it took a few moments to get my pasta. Everything was fresh tasting and delicious. I recommend.

Yelp
FILTHY facility, DISMISSIVE hosting staff Don't bother making a reservation to this restaurant, it doesn't matter. Sunday evening 8pm rez for 2. Less customers than usual (for a CF ) probably due to NFL playoffs. Didn't expect a problem. We arrived on time and were told by the hosts there were no clean tables ready (I thought the precise point of making a rez is to make sure a table ready, and that usually means the staff will plan ahead to accommodate). Despite that, we were patient and quiet-- never complained. Meanwhile larger parties who had come in AFTER us without reservations were seated before we were. After being strung along a few times saying our table was being cleaned etc, we were seated at 8:25, to sets of disgusting silverware. We waited 10 minutes for a server Then 25 minutes for bread (just 2 slices one brown one white) And our food came out about 1 hour after we sat down. There was no explanation for any of it-- nothing from the waiting staff, no mgmt nor acknowledgement of pitiful service. Just walk across the lot to Season 52 instead.

Yelp
I want to just take a moment to thank our waiter Todd!!! He was amazing, sweet, and very attentive!!! It honestly felt as though we were the only ones in there with the service Todd provided!! I would choose him to be my server EVERY TIME!!

Yelp
My friends and I went to the cheesecake factory and got seated in the very corner, which was fine, but I think the servers forgot about us back there because it took like an hour for them to ask what food we wanted. Maybe it was because we were teenagers, but still, in total, we were at that restaurant for like two hours. The food was alright, but not worth the wait.

Yelp
Food was what you expect from a Cheesecake Factory but the service was VERRYY slow. My whole experience took almost 2 hours. Bistro shrimp pasta: Al dente pasta, buttery, overall good. Some shrimp pieces were covered in batter and some weren't. Not sure if that was on purpose but seemed a bit inconsistent. Chipotle chicken pasta: sweet and tangy with a little kick to it. Both portion sizes are huge in typical Cheesecake Factory fashion but if ordering pasta from here I'd stick with the classic fettuccini Alfredo or carbonara. Adams peanut butter cheesecake: two of the best candy bars in a cheesecake and my personal favorite! Review would be 3.5-4 stars but service was too dang slow...

Yelp
Came here to meet a friend that came into town. I haven't been to this location in years. We sat at the bar area. We were there on a Friday during happy hour. Let's just say it was very busy. Our waitress was trying, but it was just busy. We all ordered from the happy hour menu . I got the sliders and they were very tasty. Cooked to my liking. All of our food came out, hot and fresh. We ordered extra bread because it took a little while for food to come out. But we were overall please with our meals. I ordered a alcoholic drink with lemonade or something. I kept saying I'm not feeling anything. There's no alcohol in this. By drink number two I realize there was definitely alcohol in it. Lol!

Yelp
Tried an item from the "new" items menu- Thai Stir Fried Noodles with Shrimp. This was so bad. The noodles were chopped up - just pieces. They were overcooked, dry and tasteless. The shrimp were also dry and did not smell fresh. There was absolutely nothing good about this dish. The only reason the review is as high as two stars is because my husband loved his meal - fresh turkey sandwich with soup and salad, and the cheesecake is almost always delicious.

Yelp
If I could, I would put zero stars. I showed up for lunch, the restaurant was empty so didn't have any trouble getting seated I requested the herbed salmon lunch (should come with mashed potatoes and asparagus) with a side salad. I received a fried salmon with broccoli and no salad. The lemonade was so sweet that I had to request to be removed because there was no way I could drink it I explained that I had to do back to work and couldn't wait to get my meal / order corrected. I still paid for my meal even though I couldn't eat it.

Yelp
See this pic. This is the only worthwhile item of the night! Cesar would be disappointed using his name in vain - I've never had a salad so tangy! Service is underwhelming, and the ambiance is like all other Cheesecake Factories, unimpressive - it's like Friday's bourgeois cousin! Not to return to this or any other CCF. Yuk!

Yelp
Spacious and comfortable, pleasant atmosphere, reasonable prices and decent service. We were there early and there was a line of people waiting before the door opened. The hostess was cold and without pleasantries. She seemed less accommodating and didn't really care about her customers. Our waiter , on the other hand, was nice and attentive. Warm bread and butter were served. We ordered 3*COBB SALAD included Chicken Breast, Avocado, Blue Cheese, Bacon, Tomato, Egg and Mixed Greens Tossed in Vinaigrette: the portion was big, a big variety of mixed salad, very filling. 4*JAMAICAN BLACK PEPPER SHRIMP---Sauteed Shrimp with Very Spicy Tamaican Black Pepper Sauce. Served with Rice. Black Beans, Plantains and Marinated Pineapple: shrimps were very tasty, mild spiced.

Yelp
Not sure why the reviews here are so low but the quality of the food is consistent with what we would get at the other Cheesecake Factory locations. We waited about 20 mins around dinner time on a Sunday with no reservation. Service was decent, although the food was a bit slow to arrive. But that's why they offer free bread and refills when requested. A noticeable difference is that the takeout containers have changed and are now flimsier and non-microwaveable. Maybe we have different expectations from other people of Cheesecake Factory. To us, Cheesecake Factory is more of a nostalgic restaurant where we'd go for special occasions (when we were younger) and the food is above average in terms of quality. But it's definitely not some fancy restaurant, since most locations are in a mall and not some place people have to go out of their way for.

Yelp
You can't beat cheesecake on V-day although you can always do without the lines and when the app isn't working picking up take out becomes such a chore.... Ugh oh well still luv the cheesecake!!!

Yelp
Always 10/10 when I come here. Food is great and staff always friendly. My order is always correct & ready when I come to pick up

Yelp
I've only been to Cheesecake Factory a few times, but I've never had a bad meal. And, I wanted to take a relative who had never been and I chose Cheesecake Factory because I knew there would be plenty of options. I also had been interested in some of their vegetarian options. So, we came here after a movie. As many have said, there are sooo many options on the menu. It's a bit overwhelming but intriguing at the same time. My lunch partner ordered the hot wings (which were drenched in hot sauce) with fries. I ordered the Korean cauliflower and the avocado egg rolls. Both were pretty good. I was impressed with the cauliflower and the huge bowl of ranch that came with it lol. I don't eat ranch, but it would have been amazing if I had. Of course we had the complimentary bread, though it wasn't as good as I remember and a little hard. I also ordered a mocktail which was good as well. Service was good. We were seated quickly and our server was super nice and responsive. I should note it was a Friday afternoon so experience of service may vary. If I was in the mood for a casual dinner and in the area, I would consider just for the cauliflower alone...yum!

Yelp
Our food was just fine--no complaints or issues at all. My partner ordered the orange chicken and I got the chicken madeira. Both were fairly sizable and tasty. Our server (Tavon) however was AWFUL. He provided inaccurate information about available drinks when I pointedly asked a specific question. He also promised to bring bread to the table before our meal but only did so about five minutes AFTER our entrees were delivered. He did not check on us once our food was served. When we asked to see a dessert menu, he said that he would bring one but instead of that, he just brought the check instead. NOTE TO MANAGEMENT: Tavon deserves to be fired, N-O-W. At the very least, he needs some serious training and he needs to give a damn about his job. Really, he was awful.

Yelp
My family has frequented this location for years. It used to be our go-to pre-movie destination as it is located directly next door to the AMC (not that the other mall restaurants are far, but when you cut things as close/run as late as my family, moments sometimes matter). The food is consistent in quality. For such a huge menu, Cheesecake Factory makes most dishes fairly well. You might be trading a touch of quality for variety, but not noticeably so compared to any other chain sit-down restaurant. I think the Montgomery Mall location is a little better food-wise, but that's a personal judgement call on my part. I eat at both locations with similar frequency. Pre-covid this location was always very busy, seemingly regardless of day of the week or time of day. I understand it's a lot to keep up with, but the bathrooms always seem to be in need of cleaning? Like a consistent experience I've had since 2012. So that makes me question the kitchen a touch? Bathrooms get traffic the kitchen doesn't obviously, but staff have to also use those bathrooms, so... I've ordered curbside here a number of times the last couple of years, and the curbside service is not as quick or organized as Montgomery Mall. That being said their staff is always friendly. Most recently my sister and I were in Columbia on Christmas Eve to drop gifts off and were looking to pick up just appetizers at like 2pm. Maggiano's wouldn't take any orders because they were already making orders for 8pm according to the person we spoke to. We called Cheesecake Factory and they were able to take and make our order in the same time it would usually take despite also being very busy. I appreciate the reliability and consistency that comes with Cheesecake Factory.

Yelp
A blemish on a fantastic chain. The Cheesecake Factory located near the Columbia Mall feels like it has been severely neglected. Stepping through its doors, you'll think that you've entered your typical high quality Cheesecake Factory, but once you sit down, you quickly see the terrible state this location is in. As soon as I sat, I noticed that a chunk of our table had been damage as a significant amount of the table corner had been ripped off. The table itself was incredibly sticky and the table next to us complained that all their dishwear was filthy. My wife and I ordered three items: Avocado Eggrolls, Tuscan Chicken, and Lemon Pesto Shrimp Pasta. The Avocado Eggrolls were excellent as expected from Cheesecake Factory. The Tuscan Chicken was dry and overcooked and the Lemon Pesto Shrimp Pasta was bland. I've had both of these dishes at other Cheesecake Factory locations and had much better experiences. My expectations of Cheesecake Factory are high and this location left me disappointed. I'd skip getting food here unless you're grabbing a cheesecake to go.

Yelp
The worst Cheesecake Factory I've ever been to. My family and I went for dinner this past Saturday around 9:45p. Our waitress Des was so sweet and took good care of our table. It took our food about 35 mins to come out and they gave me the smallest piece of salmon with my order. I had never seen a piece of salmon so small and it happened to be extremely crispy at the bottom. The mashed potatoes were cold also. I called for the manager who was nice and asked if I wanted another piece of salmon. The manager came back about 10 minutes later with a new piece. It was hot but around the same size as the other piece. My Dad ordered the Salmon with mashed potatoes and broccoli. The manager came and said they were out of mashed potatoes so he ordered the brown rice instead. The rice was so hard that you could hear him crunching on it. We asked for the check and left shortly afterward. So disappointing, my family agreed that we would never go to this restaurant again. 2/10 experience.
