The Cheesecake Factory Is Opening a New Restaurant Concept This Fall | Eater

"A Calabasas, California–based casual dining chain known for oversized portions, an expansive spiral-bound menu, and indulgent desserts. Historically a strong performer (average locations have generated more than twice the annual revenue of a typical Olive Garden), the chain saw a sales slump after a long stretch of growth but reported modest recovery with same-store sales up 2% in Q1 2018. Many locations are mall-based, which has presented challenges as mall traffic declines. The company has experimented with other restaurant concepts but currently has no plans to create a fast-casual version of its flagship brand." - Whitney Filloon

The SERVICE at University Towne Center in Sarasota, Florida is horrible. The hostess completely lack hospitality and are extremely rude. Attempted to call in to gain information, was hung up on, on call back was repeatedly asked to repeat myself. Then asked for a manager which was clearly understood and when the “manager” who sounded exactly the same, did the same thing. On the 4th call asked for a table, they understood completely without issues. These people are very rude. I dont know anything about them except they lack maturity and are just rude.

Cheesecake Factory should literally close this location. It’s disgraceful. Absolutely awful experience from start to finish. The manager was extremely rude, and the staff followed suit with the same attitude. I specifically asked for a shaded seat, but they placed me where the sun was directly in my face the entire meal — blinding and uncomfortable. The restaurant itself was filthy, with gum stuck under the tables. My food took well over an hour to arrive and, when it finally did, it was grossly overcooked and inedible. To make matters worse, they have the nerve to charge customers just to park. Between the rude service, dirty environment, terrible food, and hidden costs, I would strongly recommend avoiding this location. One of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had.

08-27-2024 04:24pm eastern time Ck#206 Server: Ahmad G My name is Chuck, this evening I placed a ToGo order for the Steak Frites cooked medium, no fries, sub green beans. I got my order and went back to my hotel room only find the the Steak was WELL DONE, like boot leather and a container full of Fries, no Green Beans. This steak was the tiniest steak I've ever gotten from a restaurant. I paid $43.28 for this and thats unacceptable. I will not be back if this is what they do to customers, I will not recommend anyone to eat with you guys either.

Visited Cheesecake Factory Glendale today and was shocked the way I was treated, I was waiting for a table for 2, when they called my name, I was standing there and there wasn't anyone else waiting, she asked me if everyone was here and I responded my daughter is in the elevator and will be here shortly, she responded in extremely rude tone that I have to wait for her before we can be seated, I told her she is meeting me at her lunch break and I need to be seated so I can order, told her that my daughter has to go back to work ... she rolled her eyes and said No in extremely disrespectful way, asked for a manager and someone was on the phone next to us and he overheard our conversation, he responded I'm the manager, explained everything to him even though he heard everything and he said that's our policy... since the corporate office was closed, Called Cheesecake Factory located at a different location and informed that there isn't such a policy..... We go there at least once a week, never anything like this happened before, very disappointed We went to Nordstroms cafe and had a delicious meal, the quality and customer service was amazing nothing to compare to Cheesecake Factory in Glendale. The worst part is that I contacted the corporate office the same day , left a message and never heard back It’s been over 2 weeks now and I’m thinking if the higher management doesn’t care what do you expect from the employees that are working for them

Cheesecake Factory in 160 S Green Valley Parkway, Henderson. Watch out for customer service. We trying to make reservation for 8 people, employee lying that we can’t make reservations because it’s Father’s Day on June 7th so I ask her twice Father’s Day on June 7th, called again and 2nd lady it’s says we can’t do reservations only walked in so 3rd call I spoke to manager already not friendly as answering talk same time as me telling the date refused to tell the name, don’t listen this people has no heart of their job duties. This happened 2:20 pm May 31, 3025. Do not go here bad service over the phone so I bet you bad service when you dine in. I feel like they are so discriminating due to my accent but I speak very clearly just have have an accent.

Came in 20 mintues prior to close was denied service due to there being only two servers and them being busy. Was told by the host that she would be right back to clear table then manager comes to say they couldn’t accommodate us. Only wanted a drink and dessert. She told us the dessert counter was right there. Get over there to the deserts and was having a friendly conversation with cashier and I said yeah we was trying to get a table guess you “guys are busy” as the manager stated. The server then says “yeah people have been trying to come in late sometimes 15 people parties 30 minutes before close and couldn’t believe it” I was only a two person party. Terrible experience. They should just close the doors 30 minutes prior if it’s that big of a deal. Save me a waste of time.

It's disappointing that a restaurant with such a name is so unresponsive. You call guest services, and they never pick up, I also email them, and it gets sent back to the restaurant manager Sarah and never get a call back from her. So here I am 2 weeks later, trying to get a hold of you "Guest relations" again. Going in circles. I told Sarah I didn't want this to be sweated under the rug and it's exactly what's happening! You employee FABIOLA at the Topanga location needs to be fired!! The lack of respect she showed and to be talking about my family in front of us without consequences shows how little you care about your customers. Do better!!

**My Experience with Cheesecake Factory: A Change in Service?** Recently, I had the opportunity to place an order online from Cheesecake Factory, looking forward to enjoying their renowned dishes. I opted for two salads and lettuce-wrapped tacos, anticipating a delightful dining experience. However, what I received was far from satisfactory. Upon opening the order, I was taken aback to find that it was missing several essential items: no bread, no salad dressing, and no taco dressing. To make matters worse, there was no silverware or napkins included. This oversight was disappointing, especially considering the reputation Cheesecake Factory has built over the years. In an attempt to resolve the issue, I called the restaurant and spoke to a manager named Brandon. Interestingly, the staff at the front had mentioned that the two managers on duty were Kevin and Justin, which raised questions about the consistency of management. Nonetheless, I proceeded to explain the problems with my order to suppsedly Brandon. His response was somewhat dismissive. He stated that the bread was complimentary and suggested I shouldn’t worry about it. Then, he asked me to send pictures of the missing items. I couldn’t help but laugh at the absurdity of taking pictures of items without sauces. It felt like a joke rather than a legitimate request. Things took a turn for the worse when Brandon became combative during our conversation, ultimately cutting the call short. This left me feeling frustrated and disheartened about the overall service experience. What has happened to the service at Cheesecake Factory? It seems that the attention to detail and customer satisfaction that once defined this establishment has diminished. I hope that they can address these issues and restore the quality of service that loyal customers have come to expect.
