How the Pandemic Is Upending LA’s Restaurant Real Estate Market | Eater LA

Proposed Law Could Allow California Restaurants to Terminate Leases | Eater LA

"As a publicly traded national chain, this restaurant would be excluded from the bill's provision allowing tenants to unilaterally terminate leases when capacity—and therefore sales—has been sharply reduced. The legislation instead creates a commercial eviction moratorium and seeks to encourage negotiated rent adjustments, but because publicly traded companies are barred from terminating leases, larger chains would not be able to use the measure to escape future rent obligations. The chain reportedly skipped its April rent payment, underscoring the financial stress prompting the proposal; the bill would still leave tenants liable for any accrued back rent even if a lease were ultimately canceled." - Matthew Kang

The Unhealthiest Chain Restaurant Foods in 2019 | Eater

"A serving of three cinnamon roll pancakes is called out for extreme nutritional content — about 2,040 calories and more than a full day's worth of sodium — making it a prominent example in the consumer-health group's list of extraordinarily high-calorie, high-sodium menu items." - Jaya Saxena

I went here on a Wednesday afternoon. The service was great and the food was exceptional. It was a bit of a wait for the food to come out but well worth it because it was great quality and fresh. Definitely compliments to the chef and the staff! The Georgia peach drink was great and refreshing. One thing to note, the complimentary bread was a bit stale but I didn't mind it because I didn't go there to eat bread. I was saving room for other delicious foods 😌 I ordered the white chocolate raspberry truffle cheesecake, it was so good I forgot to take a picture. Will definitely return back for more! Side note, it's easier to browse the huge menu selection on their website. They have actual pictures of the items which helps a lot in deciding what to order!

Google
⭐️⭐️ The Cheesecake Factory offers a wide variety of dishes like Chicken Shawarma, Peruvian Chicken, Chicken Katsu, Avocado Eggrolls, and Flatbread Pizzas. However, most of the meals contain garlic, sweet peppers, or hot spices, which may not suit everyone—especially guests with sensitivities or allergies. It would be great if the chef or management could diversify the menu to include milder, allergy-friendly options. That said, the service is excellent—staff are polite, professional, and very attentive, which makes the dining experience pleasant despite the limited variety for sensitive customers.

Google
On multiple occasions the hostess refused to seat us in more comfortable or spacious areas, claiming the restaurant was full even though it was mostly empty. It felt unnecessary and unwelcoming. Once seated, we noticed the utensils were dirty, which really affected our impression of cleanliness and attention to detail. Overall, not the experience I expected from a place with such a strong reputation.

Google
appetizers and cheesecake are always amazing but the rest of the menu is really not the best, if they focused on quality over quantity (having 3 different cultures' cuisines is not necessary) they could perfect some of the main dishes

We went after dropping off our son at the airport. Started with the corn cakes they were light and fluffy sweet and delicious. He had the enchiladas and I had the Bambam chicken and shrimp over rice. Both dishes were amazing

We came here for lunch on Sunday. The waitress was very friendly. The Factory Chopped Salad I ordered was very light and healthy, and all the food was cut very finely. My partner also ordered Jambalaya Hash & Eggs, which was very satisfying. The service and food here is better than other branches! Highly recommended.

Google
If I could rate 0 stars I would. We placed an order of steak and frites, steak was all fat and horribly uncooked. Even the sever agreed with us so we asked to kindly remake it. 20 minutes passed and they still hadn’t bring our food out, so we cancelled our order. The manger came and talked to us, “apologized” sorta of. Didn’t offer anything to us for the inconvenience. We were celebrating a special occasion and honestly it was a terrible experience. I’ve worked in restaurant and any inconvenience we’d made sure the costumer left happy. We would of offer a desert or anything to make them feel better. My friend didn’t have any dinner, we shared the pasta I ordered. Very unacceptable.

Google
Good Food, but Disappointing Chicken Shawarma We had dinner here on Valentine’s Day, so it was quite crowded, and we waited about 40 minutes for a table. The food was generally good, except for the Chicken Shawarma, which was disappointing. It had only a small amount of chicken sprinkled on top, with mostly vegetables like lettuce underneath. The service was pretty standard—nothing exceptional, but no complaints either. Overall, a decent experience, but I wouldn’t order the shawarma again.

Yelp
Given the reviews, I was expecting a poor experience, but honestly it was pretty decent! We did some New Year's Day shopping and stopped in for a late lunch. We got right in and the service was good! Server was friendly and attentive. The food portions were of course huge, just like the menu. The salads were tasty - Cobb and bbq chicken. The kids' pasta portion was enormous - a large adult would be happy with the size! The kids' flat bread was pretty tasty and the kids enjoyed it. My one complaint was that for 3 kids' milk (four total, no free refills "because it comes out of a bottle") it cost $12.50! I could buy a few gallons of milk for that! Ambiance was good, but it was a bit loud. I think it could have been a bit cleaner, but we did come after the lunch rush so maybe it just needed cleaned between meal times.

Yelp
Recently went to Cheesecake Factory for happy hour and specifically the egg roll sampler platter! It's one of my favorite things there. Good to share or get as a meal. Maybe add a salad to it to round out the meal. I love the variety of flavors and sauces and mixing and matching them! The egg rolls are usually hot and crunchy. The sauces are consistent in taste and texture. Another perk for dining here is the bread service. The whole wheat with oats brown bread is my favorite. They also have a ciabatta style loaf which is really good too! And it's served with a room temperature butter for easy spreading. The restaurant is beautifully decorated with Egyptian themed decor. Staff is usually very friendly and attentive. They have a good wine selection and everything is reasonably priced. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was due to some fruit flies buzzing around my table and my server seemed a bit pushy in terms of asking to take my order. I was trying to pace myself and really only there for the eggrolls and wine. Before I even took a single bite of my egg roll, she had asked me multiple times if I was ready to order more. I think it could have been asked differently. "Can I get you anything else?" vs "Are you ready to order?" Small criticism. Overall, I love Cheesecake Factory and will continue to go back again and again!

Yelp
Visited here after quite some time ago even though we have visited the franchise in other states. Treated our relatives. Emmanual our server was polite and efficient. We had chicken pot stickers; evelyns pasta; crispy chicken sandwich; beets and avocado salad, spicy rigatoni vodka; fresh strawberry cheesecake and triple berry bliss. Nice warm bread. Food tasteful and brought so we could see a movie nearby.

Yelp
-Underwhelming menu thought it is extensive -My food was lukewarm, even after a 2nd plate was brought out. It seems they heated the plate, not the food. - We qualified for the obligatory service charge because we were a party of 8. Person #8 was a 10 month old in a high chair. I hadn't been to Cheesecake Factory in a while. I remember why.

Yelp
Good scenery could use a little more light at the dinner tables. Excellent quick service food came out hot tasting fresh. Server was attentive. Bread also came out warm. The taste and the food was godly to say the least will definitely return.

Yelp
I was able to get a table as soon as I walked in and there wasn't a wait time. I was seated at a table near the bar. The waiter was very kind and refilled the bread basket a couple times and she was attentive to our needs. The food took half an hour after ordering to arrive. But the dishes were delicious and I reckoned getting the Thai Chili strips and Vegan Cobb salad.

Yelp
The Dulles mall is slowly dying a slow death. BUT, our favorite chain, Cheesecake always delivers. Happy hour is the best time to come. Some meals are almost half the price. The happy hour burger is huge. The factory nachos are very hefty! Honestly don't order too much, because it's too much food. They have a new small bites menu that includes some delicious Parmesan Truffle fries. My one big complaint is the fried zukes. They switched to a thinner model, and it's awful. It's like eating a grease stick. Please change it back to the thicker cuts. Staff is super friendly. We like to sit at the bar and the bar staff sets up a nice place setting. Finally, sign up for the rewards program. A cheesecake slice is often given for free or half price,

Yelp
Quite an AWFUL experience. 30 minute wait for our appetizers & and additional 40 minute wait (after the apps arrived) for our entrees. Unfortunate because the food itself was actually REALLY good, but no longer hungry after the 40 minute wait post apps. Place itself was full and lively, and good for big parties (however, they have told me that they do not do reservations in my past visits). Pictured: spicy vodka rigatoni (always my go to - highly recommend), crab bites, and roadhouse sliders. Boyfriend got the grilled rib eye steak (medium) that he enjoyed as well.

Yelp
Staff overall were great and a pleasure, the lighting was a bit too dark that it was hard to see the menu. It it did create an intimate environment. Making it a great spot to bring a date. Except the food was a bit on the cold side of Luke warm side. The food doesn't need to be hot hot but it really felt like it was sitting out for a bit before it made it to the table.

Yelp
The food is still good at TCF, but some really good favorites have been removed from the menu. My beloved chicken riesling is gone, along with my wife's favorite, the chicken marsala. I hope those items return someday. Funny, but not funny situation on our way into the restaurant on Monday evening: We walked by an employee who was standing just outside the restaurant, right where the cars park on the right side (if you're looking at the front of the restaurant) and he was SMOKING A JOINT! He gave zero craps about customers walking right by him, all of them knowing where he works. He literally exhaled weed smoke as me and my family were walking by. I know restaurants are desperate for help, but seriously, this is an injury waiting to happen. I hope this guy wasn't using any sharp instruments! I'm just happy that TCF is still open- it used to be so hard to get a table there, and now it's way too easy, and that's not a good sign.

Yelp
Despite the low ratings on this Dulles location, my friend and I enjoyed a great birthday dinner at this Cheesecake Factory! Our server was friendly and did their best to accommodate all of our needs during a hectic evening with many customers. Special shout-out to JC for all the fantastic recommendations! To start, we had the Warm Crab Dip, a great blend of cheesy-crab goodness on crunchy pieces of bread which was delicious and flavorful. However, the appetizer did come out far later than when we received our entrees. Granted, it could also be due to the busy night. For my entree, I tried something new and went with the Truffle Honey Fried Chicken served with Red Skin Mashed Potatoes and Asparagus. I LOVED this dish! The chicken was flavorful, crispy, and packed a great blend of lightly sweet and salty. The potatoes were smooth, buttery, and paired well with the fresh asparagus. Had such a generous portion that I had seconds to enjoy for the next day! My friend and I then made our way to the cheesecake menu and got the Cookie Dough Lover's Cheesecake with Pecans. It was sweet and packed great flavors that paired perfectly with the crunchy nuts. Great combo! As for the ambiance, it is a fantastic place for large groups and family dinners. My friend and I were seated towards the back in a corner that was the perfect size for the two of us. The classic Cheesecake dim lights were comforting and the restaurant was very clean - no complaints here! Definitely would recommend this location if you're in the area :)

Yelp
So this is not the first time that I have frequented this establishment. However, last night's take out service was not good and inconsistent. I ordered the avocado egg rolls and they were not at all crispy and tasted as if something added, besides the avocado, was spoiled, which this morning affected my stomach. Then we had to return to the restaurant, after having picked up our order due to a wrong item being placed in the bag; even after our order was confirmed and read back to us. They did fix the mishap, however, by providing us with the correct item, free of charge, and a free piece of cheesecake for the inconvenience of having to travel back there. I initiated that free slice of cheesecake, though. not the manager.

Yelp
I went here during happy hour and the value for the price is amazing! The sliders were really good and so was the brown bread, those were definitely my favourites 10/10. The egg rolls were okay, i feel like they could have been better 6/10. The tacos were missing a little something but couldn't figure out what. The fried calamari was good but a bit soggy! I would go here again though and try other stuff! The service was amazing, and the place was pretty spacious.

Yelp
We had lunch there on 11/16/24. Wife had sesame chicken with quinoa. Chicken was tender. Quinoa was cooked perfectly. Sauce was very tasty. I had Mac and Cheese burger. The burger was overcooked, unseasoned. The fried Mac and Cheese was tasty. The Cheese sauce was tasty. The lettuce, onion, tomato and pickles were all on the side when my plate was served. So I had to assemble my burger but that's OK. Overall a tasty burger but the hamburger patty itself was disappointing. The pickles were average. The fries weren't very crispy so a little disappointing. For dessert my wife had sugar free cheesecake with fresh strawberries on the side. The cheesecake was surprisingly very tasty. The fresh strawberries were ok. I had the Reese peanut butter cup cheesecake. It was very tasty. I would have liked more peanut butter. Overall, it was very tasty. Our server was very attentive. If the burger was cooked properly and seasoned , I would have given them a 4.

Yelp
I've come in a couple times in the past couple weeks for different things, but I have been here quite a bit before. One was on a Wednesday night by myself and the other was on a Sunday night with my parents for my mom's birthday. Both times I've come in, I appreciated the service. I sat at the bar the first time. The second time I came in, we were seated upon arrival. Orders were taken fairly quickly with the food arriving in a timely manner. The wait staff checked in on us and topped off drinks when needed. When I came in with my parents, we did wait a little bit longer for our entrees to get there. I'm assuming, it was because it was Sunday night so it was a busier night. It wasn't too bad because our waiter (I believe their name is Junior) brought us another serving of bread and butter. The time that I was on my own, I ordered a calamari, a Long Island Iced Tea and spaghetti and meatballs. When I came in with my parents, we ordered calamari for appetizer, shrimp with angel hair, chicken marsala and mushrooms and chicken piccata. The calamari is okay, but if you have a craving, it'll be satisfactory enough. I liked both the spaghetti and meatballs and the shrimp with angel hair dishes. They're pretty basic, but hit the spot with that craving. My parents loved the chicken marsala and mushrooms and the chicken piccata. The chicken marsala and mushrooms is served on bowtie pasta. My dad thought the bow tie pasta was a tad bit too al dente, but the couple pasta that I tried were perfect. So it might not have been uniform (or my dad just prefers a more cooked pasta). My mom was very happy with her chicken piccata. They also brought out a sundae for my mom because we were celebrating her low-key birthday for this week. They brought out a decorated plate with a small sundae. It was a really good dessert! I have to give Kudos to the bartender that was working when I came in on Wednesday night who made my Long Island Iced Tea. I didn't catch her name, but that drink was everything! It was so good! The only thing I think I think they could improve on is the lighting. The restaurant needs to not dim the lights too much. Some customers who come in may have a really hard time reading the menu because the lights are so dim. There's plenty of parking as well that is shared for people who are going to the mall. The parking area closest to the restaurant can get quite crowded though because people will park behind parked cars to grab their online orders if the pick up order spots are all taken. Also, lots of people would prefer to not have to walk too far. haha. Overall, pretty satisfied with my experiences.

Yelp
What's wrong with CCF Sterling lately? Their survey link doesn't work either. Servers have been great but the food has been questionable. Bad food on a Monday and wrong food, wrong doneness 45 minute after the order was taken on a Saturday. Managers have been handling problems poorly.
google avatar

Arpreet K.

Yelp
The service was not the best. I ordered the spicy chipotle chicken pasta. The chicken didn't taste cooked and I informed the waiter and he just pretended like he didn't hear me. I feel like the portion size has decreased as well and the pasta didn't have much sauce.
google avatar

Yelp
Sit at the bar and ask for Marcus. He makes amazing cocktails and service is A++. The food came out fresh and hot and the service was friendly. The location was nice, friendly and tucked away. It is always nice to find a chain restaurant with top notch service.

Genell P.

Yelp
We had a pick up order that was brought out promptly...no issues there. We ordered Fettuccine Alfredo with shrimp as one item. When we got home, what we got was a mound of spaghetti with a condiment size container of Alfredo sauce on the side. The dish was overly greasy as well. Not sure if it was the coating on the shrimp or the sauce. Hardly worth the price. The item should be changed to Spaghetti Alfredo with shrimp for clarity on the menu. We also ordered the calamari which had just as many pieces of just fried coating as pieces with calamari in them. We won't be ordering pick up or visiting any time soon.

Yelp
Time for an update. Food, service and ambiance were top notch on this early Sunday lunch. Sitting at the bar was quite a nice experience. We met the GM who provided exceptional service. The food was so fresh. Cheesecake always delivers. Our preference is to dine in but take out has been a good experience too.

Yelp
Ordered from DoorDash - Kids' Roadside Sliders and Asian Chicken Lettuce Wrap Tacos. The two dipping sauce that came with the wrap is everything! The food was packed well. Although I don't like the plastic containers due to the harmful effects of hot food being kept in them. Wish they could use better packing material. Also ordered the low-Licious chew cake with strawberries. Everything tasted good. Happy to see low carb choices.

Yelp
It's typical of Yelp that places that are chains get marked down simply because they're chains and not based on the quality of the food or service. With that said, this is hardly a 2.5 star establishment as yelp averages it out to be, this is a 3 1/2 or 4 star place . The food here is consistent, the service is excellent, and you can't go wrong with the huge array of menu choices. I wish Yelp would edit out the "chain hater" reviews. I go here a couple of times a month and American Express gives me a $10 monthly dining credit here. Hard to beat that deal for delicious dish

Yelp
Cheesecake factory is one of the best places to go if you are looking for a variety of dishes. It's a big restaurant id say the one thing i don't like is that it's very dark in there once it's night time. the service is great. I usually always get the french dip sliders and my boyfriend tried something new everytime. Their cheesecake is delicious as well, want to try them all one day
google avatar

Yelp
Great waitress, great food. As always Cheesecake Factory delivered. While, I am a big fan of eating local, Cheesecake Factory is a chain restaurant that I never mind going to. We got our food relatively quickly (waiting 20 minutes or so). The food was great: white chicken chili, Cobb salad, mac&cheese burger and Reese's cheesecake. One small thing that happened is there was a hair hanging off the bread basket but it wasn't touching much so we decided not to say anything.

Yelp
The service at this restaurant was honestly outstanding. The staff was attentive, friendly, and really went out of their way to make sure we felt welcomed from the moment we walked in. They checked on us often without being overbearing, and they were quick with drinks and answering any questions we had about the menu. Unfortunately, while the service was excellent, the food itself was very disappointing. My girlfriend and I both ordered pasta dishes, expecting a decent portion for the price we were paying. What we got instead were plates that looked almost like appetizers, the portions were shockingly small. We actually sat there for a moment wondering if it was a mistake because there was barely enough to even call it a full meal. For the price point, we thought we would at least leave feeling satisfied, but instead we were both still hungry afterward. The pasta itself wasn't anything special either; it lacked flavor and tasted pretty bland, almost like it hadn't been seasoned properly. It honestly felt like the dishes were thrown together without much care, which was frustrating given how much they cost. Overall, it was such a strange experience because the people working there really did their job well and made us feel like valued customers, but the food was such a letdown. When you go out to eat, you want both good service and good food, and here it felt completely one-sided. I can't recommend the place based on our experience because no matter how good the service is, the food needs to be worth the money, and in this case, it just wasn't. Im giving this 3 stars only because of outstanding server.

Collin E.

Yelp
Crappy chain restaurant dressed up and pretending to be high-end. Prices are outrageous for the food you get. Food is dry and cheap. Don't understand why anyone would choose to go here and spend their money instead of going to an actual nice restaurant.
google avatar

Chelsea M.

Yelp
Food was ok. I enjoyed the crab bites. My drink was sweet but I couldn't really taste the alcohol. Ambiance was moderate. Waiter was knowledgeable of the menu and hospitable. I believe his name was Gomez. He was very attentive to our needs.

Sandra M.

Yelp
Terrible service experience! We were near the hostess table and they sent a text that our table was ready instead of telling us personally. After responding within 7 min, they tried to put us back on the waitlist. Clearly, they didn't ask the name and gave our table to the couple that happened to walk up while we were waiting. Putting us back on the list is unacceptable. Won't be returning to this location!

Traci V.

Yelp
I visited this restaurant today. I usually go to Fairfax but I just moved to Sterling. First, the lady at the cheesecake counter was so rude. She interrupted me every time I started to talk. Very unprofessional and rude. 2nd, the cheesecake piece was like half of what I should have gotten. 3rd, they did not make the sesame chicken as pictured. Fairfax makes it as pictured, gives me the right size of piece of cheesecake, and the staff is professional. I will drive to Fairfax before I would ever return to the one in Sterling.

Yelp
First time visiting Dulles location, it looks clean and welcoming. It appeared to be empty, probably due to several businesses closing at the Dulles Mall. Our server Mathew(or Micheal) was one of the best servers we have ever had. It is so difficult to find great service but it was amazing. For dinner i had the "pasta da Vinci" not my favorite. My boyfriend had a the vegan Cobb salad and the dressing was tasty and unique. We will 100% come back.

Steve H.

Yelp
Waitress was great! Food was delicious! Service was fantastic! Thank you! I ordered the hamburger that came on the brioche roll and had dipping sauces. It was so good. Yum!

Yelp
I've always loved Cheesecake Factory, and I've been to this location in the past and it was fine. But this evening's visit was terribly disappointing. We were sat at a 2-seater table that was smooshed so close to the 2-seater table next to it that knocking silverware off the tables while trying to get seated was unavoidable (for both us and the party who was eventually seated next to us). Right off the bat, the environment was a let-down. Our server came and introduced herself and asked for our drink order, and when I asked for the iced green mint tea (which is my favorite drink and they've always had it), she was confused and asked if I meant the iced cucumber lemonade. Come to find out, they don't offer the iced green mint tea on the menu anymore...which was beyond disappointing as that was one of the main reasons why I decided to dine there this evening. The bread was good, and the crispy brussels sprouts appetizer was decent (they are usually served hot, but these were only mildly warm) but tasted pretty good. For entrees, we ordered the chicken bellagio and the chicken madeira. The chicken bellagio was considerably bland in comparison to past orders of the same dish we've had at other locations, particularly the pasta was flavorless; and the chicken madeira was borderline inedible. One of the chicken breasts served to me was so entirely composed of gristle that even a knife wouldn't cut through it, and it truly felt like chewing on a strand of rubber. The mushroom sauce was oddly flavored as well; the dish overall was a horrible disappointment. But we had zero way to address this, since our server not once came by to check or ask how our entrees turned out. She promptly brought the check when we declined dessert, and dropped the check on our table without so much as a "thank you" or "have a good day"--nothing at all. I can't say we will ever go back to this location of Cheesecake factory after that service, environment, and food experience. This was one of those meals where paying anything at all felt like a travesty.

Peter S.

Yelp
Good luck getting a carry out order in any sort of timely manner. I don't think it's a bigger Cheesecake Factory issue but a this Cheesecake Factory issue. Service industry in the area is mediocre at best and this location is no different.

Yelp
Update: scroll to the bottom for details... We had a lovely evening at the Dulles Cheesecake Factory. Great food and wonderful service. Unfortunately we won't bw able to eat there again because we can't make reservations. When we try going through our "rewards" account, they don't recognize our password. They don't give us the option of pick a new password. It requires a code and they never send us a code. We requested it multiple times with no luck. I can't find a way to delete the account and create a new one in order to start over, with a new password. So, we're unsubscribing so that the e-mails will stop since we can't participate in any of the offers. If customer service can weigh in and assist, that will be great. UPDATE: shortly after I posted this message I received the elusive code! It has been a few weeks since I first attempted to login, so likely NOT a coincidence. Thanks & now that we can take advantage of the frequent offers, we will be back!

Yelp
The food quality was OK at best. While they have decent amount of choices in the menu most of what I've tried disappointed me.For the amount they charge. We should be getting a better quality food and portion size. The only thing I recommend is the desserts.

Yelp
We found ourselves near our old home in northern Virginia, and despite a recent bad experience at our Florida CCF, Dulles Town Center's Cheesecake Factory called to us. My, but they hit the ball out of the park! From our welcome at the front desk with immediate seating, to Tiana (the most DELIGHTFUL server we've had in recent memory), to Ozzie (the manager) who spoke with us a while when bringing and serving our bottle of wine before the meal. Right up front we had mentioned to Tiana our recent bad experience - and she did her best to put the Cheesecake Factory back at the top of our list of preferred restaurants! Tiana all but made us want to move back to NoVA as she was efficient and friendly from the beginning, bringing out *fresh* hot bread after taking our beverage order. Our meal order was quickly placed, and brought to us while hot! Our meals were delicious - not only hot, but cooked just as we like and I don't even need to mention how tasty everything was. Not to mention the pace of our meal was perfect. We spoke with him about several of the servers who had been employed at the DTC location (Yes, I keep a list in my "Contacts" of good servers at various locations so we can request them on return visits.) To our delight, one of our former DTC servers (Alejandra) is now a manager at the Fair Oaks location - which is our other favorite northern Virginia CCF! Ozzie even comped our dessert - talk about great service recovery for the entire chain!

Yelp
I had to call multiple times to place an order for a plain 10 inch cheesecake. I finally got through to someone at the bakery and the call took forever. By the end of the call I was assured that my cheesecake would be ready for pick-up today 12/24. I sent my son to pick it up who was told multiple times there was no order for me. Finally, someone said there was an order but that that they only had a 7 inch cheesecake. No one called to let me know that they no longer had a 10 inch available (I'm sure they gave my order to someone else) or offer any other options. This type of service is absolutely ridiculous. I recently moved to Virginia from Philadelphia and I've had way better service there which is saying a lot. Because this is the only one in the immediate Ashburn area they don't care to provide the quality and service customers deserve.

Yelp
Our server, Kahari, was phenomenal! He was professional, quick with our orders, gave us great recommendations, and checked on us consistently. Compared to the rest of the staff here that lacked energy, Kahari held it down for all of them. Thanks for being a rockstar. The food it's self is just mediocre. The honey Brussels sprouts were swimming in juice, which made it overpoweringly sweet. The same went for the beet & avocado salad. We did enjoy the shredded chicken wing dumplings (Buffalo blasts) & the stuffed mushrooms! We ordered a slice of the mango key lime pie, which is delicious! However, after reading that one slice of this cheesecake had 1,300 calories; i will not be returning for more.

Yelp
Alex was such a great server! He kept our drinks refilled and was patient with us as we were taking a long time trying to decide what to order. He also gave us extra bread to go, which was so sweet!! I love coming here, you can literally choose from so many different options. We always stick with the four cheese pasta because it's a classic.

Yelp
Food was good but TERRIBLE service! This is the Dulles Town Center location. Had to wait a very long time to just put our order in and then my drink didn't arrive until after I had finished my meal. Super slow service and had an unpleasant dining experience. We will not return to this location.

Yelp
My husband and I love the Cheesecake Factory. We decided to drive to Virginia from Frederick, MD (50 minute drive), to celebrate Valentine's Day for lunch 02/14/25. We were greeted by our server and ordered appetizers and drinks. We arrived at the restaurant for lunch as soon as the restaurant opened, (11:30 AM). It took some time, but our appetizers and bread made it to our table. We didn't see our server much after that, because she was also, the bar tender. I knew from then on, it wasn't going to be a a pleasant visit. I was correct, no refills on our ice teas, and our appetizers dishes were piling up. I did ask to speak to a manager (he couldn't have cared less) saying that they got busy fast. It was only noon and they just opened up at 11:30. After we spoke to the manager, our server was more attentive, but we said to her that she had a lot on her plate (serving and bar tending). Anyway, after this not so great experience, I think we will start going to the Cheesecake Factory in Bethesda, MD from now on. We give 2 stars out of 5 on this visit. We did tip our server 20% because it wasn't her fault that she had to work her butt off.

Yelp
I promise I am not that guy! Was seated by the kitchen and my wife and I ordered then I went to the car to change my wet shoes (it was raining )and when I returned my wife pointed out the groups of flies on the window dividing the dining room and kitchen. We tried to get our server's attention but a different server showed up with our food. We did not want to appear we were trying for free food so we tried to eat it. I was asked by the server how is everything and I pointed out the flies. The server apologized and said she would tell the manager and have him come over. When the manager never came we paid the $56 bill and as we were leaving the manager (Jessie) turned and walked away. Please if possible avoid this place or at least don't sit near the kitchen. I believe management either knows of the fly problem and don't care or are so overwhelmed by the complaints they have to turn their back on the customers .

Yelp
Usually I love Cheesecake Factory but today I placed an order to go. The restaurant failed to include strawberry preserves as a side to the Monte Cristo sandwiches and the potatoes were ice cold.

Yelp
The service today was terrible. She rushed us when she took our order. When we received our meals she never came back to check on us, even though she Kept passing by. And we couldn't find her when we needed our bills. She seemed unhappy that we were on her section. We loved coming here because the excellent experience we had. However This visit was very disappointing.

Yelp
Today we went to cheesecake factory for lunch. We really loved the food. I really loved my Thai dish. I just wish their brunch menu was good. Our waitress was super nice and brought our food in a timely manner.

Yelp
Standard Cheesecake Factory fare, ambiance and service. All were fine, not special. The server suggested a different appetizer which we were glad for her suggestion.

Yelp
Would not go to this location. We got seated down 8:15 PM we received our drink and appetizer within 10 mins. Everything went fine until my partner and I waited 45 mins for our food to come out. Our waitress explained the kitchen made a mistake and that the food should be out soon. No kidding the food came out at 9:10 and it was all undercooked. My partner was hungry so he ate his portion but I couldn't eat mine. All I got was a fettuccine shrimp pasta and it was hard to chew on. I'm pretty sure they rushed the food to get it out. Waitress said that I could get my pasta remade and get it refunded as well. Manager had to come by and only a refund was made on my meal. I believe I should have received more than just a refund since I waited so long for our food for it to taste undercook. Waitress apologized on the kitchen behalf which she shouldn't have. Whole experience was just horrible.

Yelp
If you all don't plan to start adding seasoning to the fried chicken (chicken 'n waffles brunch menu), delete that menu item immediately. And, reduce the cooking time by 30-45 seconds; the chicken is overcooked and hard.
