My partner and I came in for dinner on a busy Saturday night. From entering, our experience started off poorly. The hostess was very cold. We were not acknowledged or even looked at while walking in, which I've never ONCE experienced at any restaurant. Even after walking up to the front, where we are standing right in front of her, she chooses to ignore us. She seemed more annoyed and inconvenienced by us than anything.
We didn't have to wait very long to be seated, which was nice, and we were quite pleased with our seating. The service was a bit slow, but it was okay because we understood it was busy.
The food came out relatively fast, and the appetizers were great. My complaint, however, is that I ordered my steak to be medium rare, and it came out more on the medium/well-done side. Like I said before, I'm not a picky jerk, but when you're paying lots of money for a meal, cooking the meat at the right temperature is absolutely essential, especially for a large chain like CCF. Dayton, Our server, was nice and accommodating.
Upon leaving the restaurant, once again, the hostess ignored us. No "thank you!" or goodbye!". It makes me think either this is her first job, or she was hired incompetently. Totally left a sour taste in my mouth.
