The Best Cheesecake Factory Locations In LA, Ranked - Los Angeles - The Infatuation

"If Santa Monica’s third-story patio had even a peek-a-boo view of the ocean, it might have been in play for the top spot. Unfortunately, you’re facing 3rd Street Promenade here, which isn’t the worst vantage, but it’s a missed opportunity considering the water is a block and a half away. Points are awarded for the abundance of natural light in the dining room (family photos go hard here) and the semi-secret elevator that whisks you directly from street level to the patio. Otherwise, we’re left wondering what could have been." - brant cox, cathy park, garrett snyder

The food itself was excellent and cannot be faulted. For my starter, I ordered the baked brie with truffle honey butter. While pleasant, the orange marmalade was overpowering and completely drowned out the truffle flavour. The portion sizes, especially by European standards, are absolutely enormous. I had the Chicken Parmesan “Pizza Style,” which is a full chicken parm topped with angel hair pasta in Alfredo sauce. Either part alone could have been a full meal, so together it was completely over the top in size, though still very enjoyable. My friend ordered the chicken fettuccine Alfredo and absolutely loved it. To finish, the fresh strawberry cheesecake was outstanding and easily the highlight of the meal, fully living up to the restaurant’s reputation. The food was undoubtedly good, but the pricing felt high for what was delivered, even if the portions were generous. The real disappointment came with the service. We initially asked to be seated in one of the side booths but were told that area was not in use, only to later see other groups being sat there during our meal. Instead, we were placed next to a busy walkway, which was not an ideal dining spot. Our server clearly had far too many tables to manage, which made it difficult to get her attention when we needed anything. That said, Kala herself was warm, friendly, and helpful and deserves credit, as it was clear she was not being adequately supported. The restaurant was also very dimly lit, which did not add to the atmosphere. In other venues this can work well, but here it simply made the space feel dull rather than cosy. While I would return for the food, the inconsistent service and poor value for money mean this is not somewhere I would visit regularly.

I had the lunch Chicken Chipotle Pasta and Very Cherry Chocolate cheesecake. The food was very good and even with the lunch portion I took some of the main dish home. Jason D. was a great server giving great advice regarding the food. Only oversight was the table had pasta sauce from the night before.

Google
The Cheesecake Factory is one of my favorite restaurants. I love that they have such a wide variety of food and desserts to choose from, and it’s always a great spot to eat after shopping. The vibe was nice and comfortable, and the food tasted just as good as I remember. Their cheesecake is always a classic, simple but perfect.

Google
The Cheesecake Factory in Santa Monica was a bit disappointing. The portion sizes were good, but the taste didn’t meet my expectations. Additionally, as tourists, we didn’t appreciate feeling obliged to tip, which took away from the overall experience. Overall, not what I hoped for.

Google
One of our fav places in the US - the best of any franchise, fast food chain by far. Santa Monica is quite a nice place - we had a beautiful view on the balcony. The atmosphere was really inviting. The food was excellent as always.

Google
I cannot begin to explain how amazing the food is. It’s so good that I always forget to save room for the spectacular cheesecake afterwards. Super nice inside and the perfect spot for special occasions and to go after events.

Google
Food was decent and satisfying overall. The cocktails were a bit strong, but still acceptable and enjoyable. Good portion sizes and a nice variety on the menu. Overall a solid experience — not perfect, but definitely worth a visit.

Google
The only place I was told to go by countless people in the UK was a Cheesecake factory and I’d seen a lot of people online rave about it. So I had high expectations. Pro’s - The brown bread is absolutely divine: I could have just eaten that and been happy. The cheesecake again, heavenly. I had the Red Velvet. There being a lot to choose from is good but I’m a chef myself at home and I know all the disadvantages of having an extensive menu. So it kind of put me off. The lady who served out Cheesecake was so nice. I made sure to tip her for her kindness. Cons: the service on the restaurant floor was beyond poor. The Maitre’d was miserable, she spoke to us like she didn’t want to be there at all, made us stand in a corner to wait for a table when the place was practically empty and just stood talking to who turned out to be our server for 10 minutes. We had 1 drink all night. He never came to our table once to see if we needed anything or anymore drinks, I tried to call him over but he was at the further end of the restaurant. The portions are diabolical. Nobody needs that amount of food. I left over half of mine. As did my daughter. Why does a 9yr old need 2 large baskets of fries. Ridiculous. And everything was really quite bland. The mac n cheese balls, famous online, bland, lacked cheese and the oil needed changing in the fryers. The pasta lacked seasoning and cheese even though it was a 4 cheese pasta. It was all just very disappointing. I wouldn’t go back to one next time we’re in America.

Yelp
I've been coming to this Cheesecake Factory since I was in High School. It was usually the last option and most of the time my friends and myself would go try another restaurant in the area. The outdoor seating on the balcony is nice and you do get a nice view of the promenade which is a plus. The interior of the Cheesecake Factory was always really odd. The shapes and colors feel distorted. Not ugly just odd. The servers are lovely and the most recent time I went with my friend we had a lovely server. I don't remember his name but I enjoyed his aura. This most recent time I got the Skinnylicious Tacos. They were okay. The tortilla was a bit underdone for my liking and the chicken needed more seasoning. The red sauce that came with the tacos was nice. I also got a side of cucumber and cauliflower. If the rating system let me be more specific I'd give this place a 3.5. The foods okay. The servers are nice. The area is pleasant. If the food was better I'd probably give this place a bit of a nicer rating.

Yelp
I haven't been to Santa Monica in such a long time.Meatloaf no gravy last time traveling in Dubai found CF struck me as funny... the Bar, in a dry Country NO ALCOHOL, comfort foodn my trusted meatloaf & it proved to be the same. Moist, tender & delicious, same potatoes & spinach that's when you know a Company family owned & they even had met David!!! He was hands on opening the restaurant/ a lot thinner than the old days... as a teen, the Cheesecake Factory was literally a warehouse in Warner Center, Woodland Hills California wit a little front that sold Sandwiches & salads & 1 location in Beverly Hills, Beverly Drive California. Knowing as Santa Monica has all but completely gone out of business, I drove down going to Nordstroms selling fixtures... another sad goodbye & buying displays & makeup counter display items for my Makeup Studio in Culver City, California. Settling on the Meatloaf instead of the Salmon sitting outside I was honestly in heaven... in the craziness of Los Angeles the past well year... it was home... after losing all of my Malibu Childhood... it felt relaxing. We have all been through the traumas together from Fire to ICE. Well my food arrived & it was hot & yummy spinach & potatoes... the meatloaf lacking the onions (never gravy) it looked dry & honestly burnt.... but still excited... OMG it was tough crisp dry & well awful never have I ever I don't like to complain, especially since all the tough times restaurant have gone through... I don't send food back... we need to support our local restaurants, more than ever. I had Googled to make sure they were still there (earlier I was downstairs at Nordstroms & hadn't seen it) I called over the very sweet waitress, & said I hate complaining but it was not edible (took a picture) she said it's how they make it now. I know that's NOT HOW THEY MAKE IT!!! I finally whispered to a male (not sure if another server for a manager) this heavy set woman, not quite as polished as normal & definitely with a chip... I understand this location is primarily tourist & not always easy. (Not Jennifer from TopangaSherman Oaks lovely or Beverly Hills/ family) She literally said to me... it's made every day in the morning & put in a grill (thought she even said a machine & heat up to old food) she said she's been there 17 years & do I know how long meatloaf takes to cook fresh.... I nearly dropped!!! & said do you know how long it took me to Drive & find parking in Santa Monica (normally I would take thevl metro from Culver City, have lunch & take the Metro expo line last 7? Years) I said yes I knew how long it takes to cook /caregiving my mom now living with me at my House in Culver City, its harder to get away... learning to cook for mom. So yes & I understand that prices have gone up & Meatloaf is now $2 different than the best Salmon in the world/ normally get the small order, but mom would be excited for the take home. I was literally floored by that response... saying they have made it in the morning & did that for 17 years... NOPE ‍ Cheesecake Factory has consistency & you can count on that... if DUBAI can be consistent as Beverly Hills.... She took it off the bill but never returned? & I hadn't ordered a drink... so I didn't know if I just leave... waiting at long time, Having little cash... left some money for tip & got up. The sweet waitress said what happened, did she take it off & told her what was said she said our food is made fresh & I said I know, I have eaten here nearly my whole life. She went to speak to the manager as we both walked to the front, I felt uncomfortable just walking out, especially in Santa Monica (was wearing my Chanel Runners & black designer tracksuit, Henri Bendel backpack... I was not a homeless person or tourist, I was alone because I went to Nordstroms for business equipment. ) She came back & apologized. I understand times are difficult, we are all under stress in Los Angeles (County) whether Santa Monica, Culver City or Beverly Hills.... life hasn't been easy... & going out is almost a luxury. I bought in Culver City 24 years ago... & I can't even afford regular dining in Culver City now... everything has gone insane... we do need to count on our favorites.... literally when the metro expo opened... my favorites was taking the train right to Old Bloomingdale, walking through into Cheesecake Factory lunch & going back to my studio to continue working. I really felt it was important to share & understanding its a long review... Mostly because I care that you stay in business... walking around 3rd Street I literally felt so sad... its all gone... I felt good about spending money in several small shops... Cheesecake Factory (its now global) but for me is locally small business... I've known David my whole life.

Yelp
This has got to be the largest Cheesecake Factory ever! Three stories with a ton of indoor and outdoor seating. It's also very walkable from the Santa Monica Pier. Service was quick despite being 6:00pm on a Saturday. Always love the bread while we wait for the meal. The chicken shawarma was delicious. Light on chicken, but packed with lots of veggies and sauce. Had to get the sweet fries, which are worth the upcharge. My son ordered the bacon-bacon burger. The bacon had a smokey, sweet flavor and the patty was well done. Definitely doesn't compare to a homemade burger; however, let's be honest, we came here for the bread and cheesecake. We had the banana cheesecake to-go, but ended up eating 3/4 of it while waiting for our bill. Very smooth and served with fresh whipped cream and banana. We were surprised at how much we loved this flavor. Overall, the Cheesecake Factory is a great choice because they have such a wide variety; there's something for everyone.

Yelp
5 stars for Kayla and Chef Adrian! You know those picky eaters who want to know what kind of oil is used to prepare your dish? Well, that's us ;) and after a few questions on the topic, Kayla reappeared with a very gracious Chef Adrian who talked us through how our menu choices were prepared so we could feel comfortable that we weren't consuming any seed oils or other ingredients that we refrain from. He later returned to make sure we were completely satisfied with our dinner. Wow! Totally unexpected from a busy, chain restaurant. We had the best experience. Thank you, Kayla and Chef Adrian. You are both, exceptional.

Yelp
We visited this place for a quick lunch since we noticed it wasn't crowded, which is unusual for this busy spot. The staff were welcoming, and we were seated immediately. I chose the miso salmon with white rice, while my friend opted for the chicken Caesar salad. The miso salmon was fantastic, but my friend thought the salad was just average--nothing remarkable about it. My only issue was that the service was slow when we wanted to settle the bill. There were only two other diners who arrived after us, yet our waiter appeared preoccupied with making drinks and darting back and forth to the kitchen, not paying attention to us. We didn't want to interrupt him since he seemed so busy, so we ended up waiting around 15 to 20 minutes just to pay. Overall, I don't typically visit the Cheesecake Factory because it's often too crowded and the wait times are outrageous.

Yelp
We came in for some of those delicious avocado rolls that this place is famous for and guess what?! They ran out! How can you run out of this?! The chef was even rude to our server!! Shame on you chef, it was a Sunday and 7:30 pm and you're out of this. The service was wonderful since they switched out our tables since we didn't want to sit beside a man who has a mask on and was sneezing and coughing. Clearly he was sick and should have stayed home. The ambiance was okay. I was going to give it a ***1 for running out of what I was craving for and a rude chef to the server who was wonderful. I gave them a ****3 since they were so nice and accommodating.

Yelp
On the evening of July 12th, I was served by Myrna. At first, I ordered a Coke because I was very thirsty. I quickly finished a cup that was mostly filled with ice. The server warned me that if I shared my drink with someone else, I would be charged for an extra drink. Although I felt a bit offended, I accepted it. Then, she brought us three plates that still had food residue on them and didn't seem properly cleaned. I'm not sure if she even checked their cleanliness before serving them. While my friend and I were still eating, this same server came over and directly asked us how many takeout boxes we needed. This series of service mishaps made me seriously question whether this restaurant is even trying to operate properly--or whether this particular server lacks basic service awareness or intelligence. I will not be coming back to this restaurant again. -------------------------- I forgot to mention one more thing. When I went to use the restroom, I noticed there were only two stalls, and one of them had no toilet paper. A man who was ahead of me in line went to inform a server. By then, there were already three people waiting to use the only functioning stall. However, no one came to refill the toilet paper. The man then approached a second server to ask if they could restock it, but still, no one came. Finally, after the third time we brought it up--about ten minutes later--someone finally brought toilet paper. I used to think that something this simple wouldn't require any special training for the staff, but clearly, even basic service like this is poorly handled at this restaurant.

Yelp
Terrible experience - we won't be coming back. We waited over 50 minutes for our food, and when the first dish finally arrived, it was cold. The rest of the meals simply never came. After repeatedly asking the staff, we were eventually told that the other orders were never entered into the system in the first place - and no one bothered to inform us until we insisted on answers. The service was awful - not a single apology, no compensation offered, just indifference. For a place with such a big name, this was a huge disappointment. Absolutely not worth it. Never coming back.

Yelp
I really enjoyed my experience here! The outside patio area is gorgeous and I was able to watch the sunset while we ate. Our server was really attentive and friendly. I enjoyed all of the dishes we ordered, especially the Louisiana chicken pasta! The chicken was crispy and flavorful. There is a parking lot nearby that isn't too expensive, which is a huge plus. Will definitely be returning to this location!

Yelp
Unless we sat outside in the patio, it was a long wait. Dispite it wasn't crowded with a lot of empty tables. Also it took us almost a hour to receive our food for 3.

Yelp
Great service, but the poke nachos were a letdown. Tiny scoops of tuna, dull color, not fresh

Yelp
I had meatloaf lunch with vanilla latte, it was okay. The Vanilla latte was very bland, it didn't taste good. I would say their drinks are not good. Some of pastas are just okay, nothing especial.

Yelp
The Cheesecake Factory is one of the only chain restaurants I will occasionally eat at, so when my friend suggested it (since many of the other restaurants were about to close), I said let's go. The service was pretty decent and we had some good recommendations from the waiter since there are always so many good options! However, I was a little disappointed with my cheesecake that I took home, it just didn't taste as it used it. The ambiance is always pretty decent at Cheesecake as well. Here is everything we tried: 4/5 - Margarita Flatbread: shockingly good, I just didn't expect it to be such a great starter with a nice bled of flavors. 4/5 - Korean Fried Cauliflower: pretty good, has more of a tangy flavor using a sweet and spicy sauce, but not really spicy or anything. 4.25/5 - Spicy Rigatoni Vodka: a really solid pasta with a nice little kick of spice and very flavorful, definitely my favorite dish of the night. 3/5 - Dulce de Leche Cheesecake: surprisingly a little muted on the flavors, still not a bad cheesecake, but definitely regret not trying a different flavor. 3/5 - Various Cocktails: honestly it was a little hit or miss, but they weren't that great. Food: 4/5 Drinks: 3/5 Service: 4/5 Ambiance: 3.5/5 Value: 3/5 Overall: 3.5/5

Yelp
We came here for my husbands birthday , if you're having a big party they suggested to come in since you're not able to reserve any seats online . We waited about 10 minutes for our table. Our waiter was very attentive and helpful. The food was honestly so good , This was my first time ever at this restaurant and I will definitely come back to this location! It was also super clean considering how packed it was .

Yelp
My family had a large party and we decided on Cheesecake Factory for a celebration. Honestly we didn't wait very long at all and were sat promptly. 5/5 service our server was great and she was very sweet. I know larger parties can be a lot to handle but she did awesome, and was very patient. I'm not sure how everyone rated their dishes. I do know my sister and I both had the miso salmon and interestingly ours did not taste the same at all lol! I found this Cheesecake Factory very clean as well. I'd return here!

Yelp
I will forever get lost in the menu at Cheesecake Factory. I'm a rather indecisive person. So when I see a multipage menu of some many delicious things to eat. It makes for a difficult decision for me to order. I always end up googling or yelping what to eat, but I still can't decide what to eat. I've ate a Cheesecake Factory many times in my life in the states and abroad and I'm never leaving with an empty stomach or unsatisfied. Our server was Drew S. and he was very attentive. I asked Drew for a suggestion on what to order as I was feeling Italian and chicken, but chicken without breading. Drew wisely suggested Chipotle Chicken Pasta. I really enjoyed this dish. It has a bit of spice to it and the sauce was so creamy and delicious. I never put my fork down and I didn't stop until I cleared the plate. It was that good. My wife ordered Korean Fried Chicken. It was also very good especially if you have like fried chicken combined with sweet flavor of the Korean sauce. It was good entree. Our son ordered the spaghetti and meatballs from the kids menu. He liked it, but he's not too picky. We finished off the meal with a dessert of an Ice Cream sundae. The vanilla ice cream is served with a cherry on top covered in whipped cream, nuts and some hot fudge. It also comes with a side of hot fudge to cover your Ice Cream with even more hot fudge. It was a very satisfying dessert. Next time, I will try some other cheesecakes that we have tried yet. We took some food to go. I always order a new order of bread to go. The bread at Cheesecake Factory is next level and why not take advantage of the free orders of bread when it's so delicious. That brown bread is to die for.

Yelp
extremely angry at our visit. our waitress gabriel or g, was extremely inattentive to our table of 6. she didn't bring straws for the longest time, unable to enjoy our drinks. we didn't get our bread and when we asked her, she told it was our job to ask?? additionally she never checked up on our table, we had to call over the manager, and he did nothing to resolve our issues. we had to wait 15 minutes for simple things such as more butter. she enjoyed more chatting to her teenage tables than attending us. don't go!!'

Yelp
We went on a busy Saturday night so a 30 minute wait for a table was reasonable. Once seated it went downhill from there. Our server finally came about 15 minutes in we ordered drinks got them another 15 minutes or so later. Then we ordered food which we did not get until 1.5hours after being seated. Our server never came back, we asked several other servers for refills on drinks and were told kids don't get refills and no one ever brought our drinks as well. Then once food started coming to the table it was about 10 minutes in between each of the 7 of us to get our plates. Beyond ridiculous. Food tasted good is the only reason for the stars. Staff is super lazy and seemed as if they could care less about their job.

Yelp
Always reliable and something good to eat on this endless menu. Cheesecake after of course is kinda a must - up to $12 a slice now wow! But soooo good. Or take it with you for a walk to the pier and enjoy in front of the ocean!? Inside it's cozy and inviting , the service was on top of things.

Yelp
Date of Visit: June 21, 2025 I had an extremely upsetting experience at this location. As a practicing Hindu, I specifically ordered a no-meat meal. Shockingly, I was served chicken--which I only realized after taking a few bites. When I brought it to the attention of the waitress, the response was casual and dismissive. The dish was quickly taken away before I could even take a photo. To make matters worse, the manager showed no empathy, offered only to remove the item from the bill, and told me multiple times that I could leave if I was uncomfortable. Another waitress later admitted they knew it was chicken and still let us eat it. This is not just poor service--it is a complete violation of my religious and personal beliefs. I left feeling shocked, disrespected, and deeply hurt. I expect much better from a brand like The Cheesecake Factory. Until this is addressed properly, I cannot recommend this location--or this chain--to anyone who expects their dietary needs and religious sentiments to be respected.

Yelp
My spicy rigatoni was great, but that was up with this Mac and cheese soup??? Kids are already difficult to go out to eat with. How do you mess this up?

Yelp
My first time ever coming to Santa Monica Cheesecake Factory. I didn't even know that there was a location here until I saw it on a Youtube video. We stopped here for lunch earlier this week, and it sits right near the Promenade. I ordered my fish tacos with beans and rice. It is my favorite food here. We also had a slice of cheesecake with one glass of wine. Service was good. I'd love to visit here again.

Yelp
Cheesecake Factory is always consistent, you know exactly what you are getting. Good food, phenomenal bread and any kind of cheesecake your heart desires. I came here for a quick pick up order and Onesimo who helped me with my order was phenomenal. Great customer service and a wonderful attitude. Thank you, Onesimo!

Yelp
Best customer service I've experienced in a long time. Our server Sina was great, he was fast, efficient and all his suggestions were excellent.

Yelp
Do you fancy having a dessert or fantasize about the best dessert even before the main course?! A menu just for desserts and a dozen variety of cheesecakes right before your eyes in the refrigerator at the cheesecake factory! Cheesecake, galore from Red Velvet, traditional to Godiva to Oreo, white chocolate, raspberry, and many more!

Yelp
The manager had the nerve to say they'd onto allow dogs on the patio and that, thats the law in CA. Mind you , my dog is small and in a fully enclosed stroller. This will be the last time I come to cheesecake in santa Monica.

Yelp
Always a reliable choice. The food is consistent, there are plenty of tables, and they also have an outdoor section. The servers are very attentive.

Yelp
The place was clean, the server was very friendly. I got a gluten free bun with the impossible burger. My burger came out with a regular bun. I asked a different server if it was gluten free because the bread looked different than i remembered. He said it was rang in that it was gluten free but took my plate and asked the cooks in the back. They remade the meal for me and gave me the right bun and I got it quickly too. I was grateful they double checked because I do have an allergy to gluten. I would come back and recommend this location!

Yelp
Our service was 5 star. Our waitress was kind and checked in frequently, making sure we had everything we needed and kindly brought us extra brown bread! Food was alright but generous proportions which is always ideal about a place like this. As you may know the menu is endless as far as options go so that's a major plus. It was a fairly calm Saturday night and not busy at all which was great. The place had ample seating available and was pretty clean and cozy. Brown bread is the star feature. I got avocado lettuce wraps (avocado was not fresh) but the rest was great. My friend ordered a chicken pasta dish that was massive in size and looked delicious, chicken was a bit overcooked however.

Yelp
Came here with my entire family and it was such a pleasure! The portions were amazing and the service was attentive! Coming inside was a struggle. I believe they have an entrance from the outside through an elevator, and another entrance inside the mini mall. Everything tasted amazing, and came hot! Parking could certainly be a hassle here.

Yelp
As a person who has been in the customer service industry for well over 20 years it was extremely disappointing to see the host not follow up with welcoming guests. I get they were busy but he made no point in communicating with us on wait time or thanking us when we left. Both times we were all pleasant because we were together as a family and thought they would be the only restaurant that could accommodate us and the size of our group. Besides that, the food was NOT as good as the reviews described and we waited over an hour for dinner. We basically all filled up on bread. The only good part was our server, she was kind and apologetic for taking so long and forgetting a few dishes. The bathrooms were horrible, toilet paper everywhere and everything was wet or dirty. Made sure to let the host know on our way out and he replied "I already know about that" without making any eye contact. The experience was the worst I could've imagined.

Yelp
Our waiter was named Stanley. We did a cross country trip from CT and we stayed in Santa Monica for 2 days. He was completely not even engaged with our table. Barely getting served, No bread. And brought our meals and not even checking up on if we needed anything. Idk but bro was a BOT. Kinda made the dinner a bit of a let-down.

Yelp
Disappointed! My birthday and as a member was so disappointed in the service! Took an hour to receive food! Server must have been new! Forgot water and incomplete orders! Still one of our favorite restaurants, food is usually good! But bad service this time

Yelp
We stopped in with modest expectations--just some drinks, small bites, and appetizers to hold us over before our next engagement. Instead, we were treated to an unexpected course of contempt. When we let the waiter know our plans, he quite literally laughed in our faces--as if spending money at his establishment was some kind of inconvenience to him. The mockery wasn't subtle, and neither was the vibe shift. From that point on, the service turned ice cold. No warmth, no hospitality, just a clear message: You're not welcome unless you're ordering a full entrée. Appetizers were fine, nothing memorable. The drinks? Watered-down and overpriced--kind of like the experience. But honestly, the biggest thing we tasted was disrespect. If this place thinks it's above customers who want a light bite and some cocktails, maybe they should post a sign that says "Full Meals or Full Disdain." Would've saved us the trip--and the secondhand embarrassment. Hard pass.

Yelp
After spending the day walking around Santa Monica, the Cheesecake Factory was the best choice because it has quite a large menu with a little bit of everything to offer. Overall, the staff was really friendly and the food was also pretty good. HOWEVER... after waiting quite a while for our food to arrive (probably around 30 minutes or so) we were told that our chicken & steak dish went "missing" and would need to be remade, which left two of us eating while our third person sat and watched us eat. Furthermore, the steak was ordered medium-well and came out medium (luckily they weren't too upset about it and were okay with medium but still -- it should be cooked the way the customer orders it, or else why bother ask). While the food was really good, we were quite unimpressed with the way the situation was handled (especially when other Cheesecake Factory locations have treated us so kindly in the past). *Each of us rated our plates at about a 7/10. They each were delicious but had something a little off for our own tastebuds/preferences.

Yelp
bartender was great. however I am a regular at MANY Cheesecakes and today I ordered the same thing. Dinner size cesar salas with shrimp. I get 3 shrimp!!! The manager Adriana comes out and says this is normal amount. I continue to tell her no sorry she is incorrect, I go to MANY chain Cheeaecake Factories and I always get 6-7 shrimp. 3 is unacceptable and the fact that she came to speak to me standing her ground was ridiculous. She must never have visited other Cheesecakes. I am from San Diego, so I am a loyal customer and stop anytime I can. I definitely will not return to this location. 3 shrimp?!?!? I think it was an additional 7-9 dollar, unacceptable for a CHAIN resturant! Very unfortunate...manager should be trained and should visit other chain restaurants.

Yelp
So as a fun night out, my wife and I decided to eat here due to all the funny rumors of first dates - and women thinking Cheesecake Factory isn't a sufficient first date. Well this one is amazing. The ambiance being located in Santa Monica is beautiful. We chose to sit outside where they had heated lamps and the views were delightful. Our server was cool. Not as attentive as I normally like regarding extra drinks or is your food good. But overall he did a decent job. The food was delicious and the pineapple mezcal was so good, I ordered another. Cheesecake Factory is great for anytime.

Yelp
My wife and boys wanted to take me out for my birthday at Cheesecake Factory in Santa Monica so we came to walk around catch a glimpse of the ocean and the mini stores down third Street Promenade then ended up here at Cheesecake Factory. The meal started off with the delicious dark and white bread with the butter sticks. I always prefer the darker bread. Then we ordered some waters and our meals and shortly after the food came with a smile on the waiter's face, especially after they found out, it was my birthday on this particular day. I ordered the Parmesan crusted salmon with loaded mashed potatoes and asparagus as you'll see in the pictures attached to this review and my wife got the chicken piccata, which is also a good dish and don't tell anybody but my wife usually gives me some of her chicken. I go into the meal knowing my wife is gonna give me some of her chicken that is how well I know her. Everything was really delicious and when I went to the bathroom, my wife told the waiter that it was my birthday and if they could bring me something to celebrate. So when I came back shortly after my ice cream surprise came and my wife and my in-laws and my two sons sing to me happy birthday, which is always really really nice. The service at cheesecake factory is always top notch and nothing to complain about and if you ask for something, they say sure no problem I'll go get it for you. The restaurant is always kept very neat and the ambience is really inviting and romantic. What can I say? I love cheesecake factory and I will be coming back for more again and again. Especially on my birthday and maybe get one of those slices of cheesecake. See you next time cheesecake factory save me a slice of the Keylime cheesecake for me. Just kidding, not really.

Yelp
We've been going to The Cheesecake Factory almost every other Sunday for the past year and a half, but sadly, the service has gone way downhill. Lately, servers barely check on you--no refills offered, no follow-ups, and some of the male servers have been noticeably rude. Not going to name names, but the lack of basic courtesy is really disappointing. This past weekend sealed the deal for us. Our server got one of our entrees wrong, and instead of trying to make it right, he became visibly annoyed and borderline rude. When he dropped off the check, he just said, "Here you go." When he came back for the signed copy, again, "Here you go." No "thank you," no eye contact and just dismissive and unprofessional behavior. Who talks to paying customers like that? After two back-to-back bad experiences, we've made the decision not to return. It's a shame, because we used to really enjoy coming here, but the consistent decline in service has made it not worth it anymore.

Yelp
I have no idea how this happened but this Cheesecake Factory just dumped a shit-ton of oil into my order, it's really disgusting. Their kitchen really needs to get their shit together.

Yelp
Very rude and very slow. Which is surprising to me because my experiences at other Cheesecake Factory locations are always pleasant. This specific location seems to be in a bad mood all the time. I've been here twice but will probably not come back again.

Yelp
Nice and spacious therefore no lines outside of the door. Food was cooked to order and came out quickly. I went there 4 times that week.

Yelp
The location is superb, right next to the promenade. The portion is big. We love the taste of the warm bread (the one with the chocolate flavor is the best) and key lime cheesecake.

Yelp
The good: I had pasta da Vinci, fried chicken sandwich, coconut cheesecake, Dulce de leche cheesecake and the Sheila salad. I came on New Year's Eve and we were seated in fewer than 5 minutes without reservations. Our waiter was great and offered us extra free bread to-go. I enjoyed being able to order lunch-sized portions of foods. The sourdough and brown complimentary bread were great and hot. I liked the peanut sauce on my salad and how the salad had a nice crunch and was thoroughly dressed. I loved the mushroom onion sauce on the pasta. My daughter ate a lot of it. The red sauce on the fried chicken sandwich was great and added a bit of tang. Their menu is huge so I always try to get something different each time I come to cheesecake factory. Watching the Try Guys eat the menu at Cheesecake Factory made me realize how many dishes I should try there. The bad: We were initially given a very dirty spoon (with food stuck all over). I would've liked a tad bit less dressing on my salad. The interesting: They're located on the third floor and there's an outdoor dining terrace area.

Yelp
I haven't been to a CF for several years. This was my first time visiting the CF on 3rd street. We met up with some friends for dessert. It was a cold rainy night. The host told us it would be a half and hour wait. As we were waiting outside we recognized the our waiter from burger lounge (we ate there the day before) working at CF. He seated us right away, yay! We ordered: Key lime cheesecake: 3/5 I am usually a big key lime fan, but this was a tad too tart for me. Original cheesecake: 4/5 this was good but I remembered it to be better. It's less rich and dense than when I had it at other locations. Strawberry cheesecake: 4/5 same as above. Banana cream: 5/5 surprisingly this was the best one! It was light and creamy. Wow prices have increased a lot since the last time I visited CF.

Yelp
"Worst racism I have ever experienced." Please visit if you want to experience the typical racism in 2025. I visited The Cheesecake Factory at lunchtime with excitement of the first visit. They took us to the back side of the pillar seat when there were plenty of seats nearby windows. No one has asked us for the orders, and no one answered us even after several "Excuse me"s lmao. After 15 to 20 mins, we could finally call the waiter to ask for the change of the seat. The waiter told us that if we want to change the seat, we should directly ask the counter. And we just got out from that awful racism with disappointment. I hope nobody experiences the same situation as we did.
