First, I HIGHLY recommend making a reservation to eat here, unless you enjoy having conversations with your friends while you wait! It was packed at 3:30pm on a Saturday. But I will tell you this: the food is worth it!
My wife and I came here for a date night, and we were seated within 5 minutes of checking into our reservation. We were seated, and this is where they lost half a star: it took between 5-10 minutes for someone to come to our table for drinks. They took our drink order, and we did not see our sever for another 10 minutes. I did not take any stars off for this, as the drinks had to come from the bar and I understand that it takes time to mix drinks.
After we got our drinks, they asked if we would like to order any appetizers. We ordered the Buffalo blasts and the Texmex Eggrolls. My advice: ORDER THE BUFFALO BLASTS! They are what you get when you cross Crab Rangoon with buffalo chicken dip, and then you batter and deep fry it. We came for the Eggrolls, but ended up LOVING the Buffalo blasts!
Halfway through the appetizers, I was wondering when our server was going to take our order for entrees. It seemed strange that we were ordering one course at a time, but I was willing to overlook it due to to amount of food on our table. It's possible they were waiting for us to get closer to finishing to get our order placed. About 10 minutes later, our server came by and took our orders for entrees.
Our pasta came out fast, only 10-15 minutes after we ordered them. My wife got the spicy rigatoni vodka, and I am guilty of getting the same food each time: Louisiana chicken pasta. The spicy rigatoni vodka was cooked perfectly al dente, and the peppers brought a delightful, almost fruity flavor to the dish. For the Louisiana chicken pasta, it is a very straightforward flavor: bold spices in a light sauce. The chicken added much needed crunch and flavor contrast, adding a rich counterpoint to the spicy/sweet spices in the pasta.
Finally, you can't go to the Cheesecake Factory and not order cheesecake. I ordered the salted caramel cheesecake, and my wife ordered the lemon raspberry cream cheesecake. I am a huge caramel fan, but I will say that this cheesecake is HEAVY. It is incredibly rich, to the point where I couldn't finish over half of it. My wife's cheesecake, on the other hand, was TART! The lemon and raspberry cut right through the rich cheesecake, but to me felt a little overpowering. It was enjoyable, but make sure you like cheesecake that has a fruit flavor over a creamy flavor.
In summary, this was a fantastic meal. The only sore points for me were the wait times, and the fact that we only saw our server four times the entire meal, and each time was to bring food. I would HIGHLY recommend this location!
