"To paraphrase the lyricism of Vanessa Hudgens: if you’ve made it this far, you should have eaten and should have plenty of energy to dance. Chelsea Beach Bar is the classic Atlantic City spot where you can see someone doing consecutive body shots with the ocean’s waves in the background. Watch out for the sparkling bottles of tequila headed to the VIP, and maybe steal one to use as a signal flare if you lose track of one of your friends. If you like your AC nightlife with less sand and more strobe lights, HQ2 is a solid bet for dancing among smoke machines and intermittent confetti." - Anne Cruz

Room was in the old wing but comfortable. TV remote didn't work. And staff knocked on the door at 830 so that wasn't the best way to enjoy vacation and she checked us out so we lost a credit we were supposed to get at the desk. Still need to speak to guest relations about that🙄

Before the Tropicana took over this was a great boutique hotel. It had now become the Tropicana's budget tower. It's fine for a place to sleep for a quick overnight. The rooftop pool is also fun.

Stayed here for 3 nights for New Years the area didn't seem cleaned and when you went to the elevators by the Chelsea 5 it always reeked of cigarettes, there are 3 elevators to get up to the rooms but during the 3 days it seemed if only 1 worked for the whole 3 days there was dried spit dripping down the elevator. In the morning we woke up to use the bathroom in our room an we discovered roaches all over the bathroom we immediately packed up and went down to the reception to get a new room, we were moved a few floors up and given a credit, sadly we lost our ocean view and had the view of whatever apartments are next to this tower, we inspected for bugs and didn't find any so I guess that's a win. The next morning my husband woke me up at 5am because he heard the fire alarm going off we could hear chaos in the hallways and see several fire trucks outside we seemed to be fine as the fire trucks retreated within 30 minutes. The housekeepers were really friendly we had to help them several times get their carts in and out the elevator being as there was only 1 working elevator it seemed a bit much for them to need to move their carts floor to floor. We spoke to a few other guests who also seemed disappointed with the rooms and elevator situation. We've stayed in a different tower so wanted to check this one out wouldn't stay here again.

In town for a concert but I should’ve stayed at the motel across the street. Bed was uncomfortable, room was right in front of the elevators and i was woken up every 15-30 minutes by the beeping and thumping of the elevator all night. TV barely functioned, coffee sucked, no microwave, and no included breakfast that i could tell. Not worth $200+. My expectations were low but this was terrible for the price. They nickel and dime you ($20 for parking?! Are you joking??) and don’t have any humans to talk to at check in.

Terrible rooms. The door does not lock safely. The walls are very thin and you hear everything from the hallway and elevators. The room was very dirty - debris and old socks on the floor, the bed I made with mismatched pillows and a missing pillow case. The fridge was unusable with no shelves and exploding sodas cans from the previous guests. Dust and dirt on every single corner of the room. The bathroom amenities were dirty and obviously used before. Staining and red liquid on the tables - wine or blood who knows. The AC did not work at all - the room was stuck at 75 and the buttons didn't work. The down button on my floors elevator was broken and unusable. I paid a last-minute rate of $150 with taxes. Expected way better from Tropicana. Ended up checking out the same night and going home - unsanitary.

If you're looking for beach accessibility then this is the place. Literally steps from the beach. Trust that you get what you pay for and nothing more. Our room had the tiniest of pillows and zero comforter! It's older.. the renovation didn't happen to any of the rooms. Very outdated carpets n wallpaper. It was easy to maneuver to the mall area for eats n drinks.

What a gorgeous inn!! It’s unique, comfortable, beautiful… We had a double queen bedroom and the rooms were very clean and felt new. Given the decor, they could have easily felt worn out if anything was the least bit old, but they didn’t. Clean and fresh is how I would describe the rooms. They have a very cute patio that I sadly didn’t get a chance to use, and multiple sitting rooms, all uniquely furnished. I felt like I was at an inn in the England countryside.
