We paid a few hundred dollars for room 906, it was not worth. First off the 5th floor skybridge was leaking everywhere from rain and when we got to the elevator we were warned by another patron not to use the elevator to the far right because they were stuck in it earlier.
We arrived at our room and one of the door card did not work, I didn’t think it was a big deal. We were able to gain access with the 1 good card. We walked in and I turned on our lamp and it flickered then went dim , I tried this several times before I gave up. So I decided to watch TV and it would not turn on, after a few minutes of troubleshooting I find the plug was in the wall outlet and not in the TV.
I finally plopped on the bed for a few seconds when I heard a loud humming noise, I walked Over to where the noise was coming from(the ventilation system) and noticed my socks were damp from the wet carpet. By now I am frustrated and started to look over the place with a fine tooth comb and found more issues.
The ceiling had water stains and the mirror had some nasty clear slime on it and the windows looked like they were cleaned 2 years ago. I woke in the morning to turn on a bed lamp and that lamp also was no longer working. What a poorly kept establishment and to think Tropicana is asking full price for a room , and to finish the story off I received an email asking me to check out online and when I attempted to do so the site was down.
