The 24 Best Restaurants & Hotels In Vancouver - Vancouver - The Infatuation

"While it’s pretty hard to miss the neon pink sign outside The Chickadee Room, the '80s soundtrack and the icy-tart margarita slushies are really what make this somewhere you’ll want to hang out for a few hours. You’ll probably feel like you’re at an all-inclusive resort in Cancun, but the cocktails and the tequila will definitely be better. Chickadee doesn't serve food, but you can order anything off the menu from Juke Fried Chicken next door—which is exactly what you’ll want if you plan to stay for more than one drink." - Amber Gibson, Team Infatuation

As juke is take out only, next door (chickadee room) serves juke’s chicken and cocktails. The items were a little different - the spicy fried chicken comes in a tangy slightly spicy sauce. The all dressed fries come with an aioli and pickles. Highly recommend the nuggets as they were delicious.

Really cool spot around Chinatown, the vibes were great and the service was good too! They've partnered with the neighbouring chicken place (juke) which offers really good gluten-free fried chicken and the drinks were all of excellent quality. 10/10 would definitely recommend!

Came for their happy hour deal with Juke, which includes two pieces of chicken with a drink. I only tried one cocktail which was fine, but the chicken was pretty good! Service was ok, not the most welcoming to be honest, but i’d probably come back for happy hour.

I had been wanting to try this place so long time. Once we arrived late evening and it was packed. We drove past Sunday late afternoon and needed some energy before we went home to make dinner. This was a great quick drop for an energy boost. When arrived at their Happy Hour, any cocktails come with two pieces of free chicken. The cocktail called Ward 9 was very good. The chicken was alright. We had a junior juke sandwich. It was good. It was quite small as it was a junior so don’t expect it as a meal but more like a snack. We also ordered a side of waffle 🧇 which was not that good. It was like warm and slight soggy, but it did the job. Excellent atmosphere as it is a cocktail bar after all. I liked how they presented their bill in a cassette tape!

Great place for late night food and drink. I wish they had just fried chicken on the menu without the sandwiches. That would really make it perfect. I love the fries, brussel sprouts and coleslaw.

Funky cocktail bar that partners with the fried chicken joint next door (Juke). Just came in for quickie cocktails but would have stayed longer and ordered the chicken if we could have! Sophisticated cocktails, nicely made without too much fuss. Good balance. Made in house mocktails that do better with homemade spirit free bases than most commercial non-alcoholic spirits. This place would punch hard in any major town. Great service by David!

Ok, well, we only had fries, but they were delicious, and that was the best drink I had all nigh: Kah Like it Hot? I think? Super yum anyway. The servers were really friendly and even remembered my friend from the one either time she was in. Really enjoyed the visit. We'll be back!
