"Chimes restaurant and bar with a cult following near LSU’s campus is adding a rooftop bar and about 6,000 square feet of dining space inside and out. It’ll close in July for the remodel." - Stephanie Carter

We had an incredible dining experience at The Chimes that deserves more than just five stars! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and filled with that Southern charm Baton Rouge is known for. What truly elevated our night, though, was our server, **Ezra**. He was *over the top excellent*—attentive without being intrusive, knowledgeable about the menu, and genuinely friendly. His recommendations were spot-on, and he made sure our table never went without. As for the food—absolutely amazing. Every dish we tried was full of bold, authentic flavors and cooked to perfection. From the seafood to the signature dishes, everything was fresh and beautifully presented. Whether you're a local or just passing through, The Chimes is a must-visit. Great vibes, outstanding food, and service that goes above and beyond. Ask for Ezra—you won't be disappointed!

Google
Great food and selection Leans toward brewery food with a cajun twist fish gumbo was excellent so we're fried catfish and shrimp shrimp and grits... the star was the sauce and fried grit ball!! located steps from LSU campus This location would be packed crowded during school and football season! Interior nothing special except the cavernous seating!! help servers were top notch!!

Great food and even better service! It was our first time at The Chimes, and our waiter Daniel was incredibly professional, friendly, and helpful. He took the time to explain the menu and gave us excellent recommendations! Everything we ordered was delicious. Highly recommend this spot, and if you get Daniel as your server, you’re in great hands!

I've been to tons of restaurants I will have to say this is my favorite one yet! I had Parris as our waiter she was absolutely amazing! I ended up having to bring my food home because the appetizers were amazing and I ended up full on them. The rib eye steak was spectacular of the few pieces I got to eat before I felt completely full! I would recommend this place to anyone. You have to try the artichoke spinach dip it was absolutely the best I've ever had!

We are from Washington state here visiting and trying the local food. We were suggested Chimes specifically the one by LSU. We loved all the wall decor and stained glass! Our waitress was amazing, thorough and gave great suggestions. We got fried mozzarella and blackened alligator to start. Crispy, flavorful and amazingly cheese mozzarella balls. The alligator was very salty but well balanced with the Cajun and horseradish mayo. I ordered the crab and Brie soup which was rich, creamy, and well seasoned with a lovely crab and corn flavor. My boyfriend ordered bbq bacon wrapped shrimp and jambalaya with a side of Mac and cheese. The shrimp were tangy and smokey with perfectly cooked shrimp. The jambalaya was full of flavor with sausage, shrimp, and pork, a nice kick of spice and well cooked rice. The Mac and cheese was very cheesy making it a little greasy but decadent and delicious. My boyfriend’s grandpa ordered the seafood lasagna and it was amazing! Great seafood flavor, creamy rich sauce, perfect noodles. Absolutely the best dish we’ve tried so far. He was skeptical but ended up eating over half of the large portion. I also ended up ordering 2 peanut butter sugar cookie martinis, a sweet, strong and phenomenal dessert drink. My boyfriend ordered the chimes tea which he said was dangerously delicious with a refreshing and lemony taste. We also ordered the bread pudding to go which is big enough for 2 smelled amazing and has a yummy nutty caramel sauce for the top. Would definitely recommend and return!

Google
Given the option to sit downstairs or upstairs. Went upstairs, which is free seating, and sat near the bar. They took our drink orders but the appetizers took almost an hour. Had to remind the waiter/bartender twice. The mozzarella balls weren’t warm and didn’t taste very good. The salad was ok, was supposed to have egg but that was missing. Had to constantly keep asking for utensils, napkins and drinks. The people sitting behind our table had issues as well and had to send their food back. Not sure if I would come back to this location.

Wanted to treat myself to an early Mother’s Day Dinner. The extra Alfredo sauce wasn’t in the bag. The hush puppies were fried very hard, they were dark and full of grease and the spinach dip had an extra thick layer of cheese that had been placed under the broiler or put in the oven for too long. I stay across town so by the time I got home and got comfortable that’s when I discovered this. Happy Mother’s Day…I guess!

Google
The bacon wrapped shrimp and jambalaya was absolutely incredible. It was the best thing I have eaten in quite a while. Fantasic job. The server was very friendly and helpful too.

Yelp
What a fantastic place! The ambience alone would be enough to bring us in, but the food makes us want to return. The blackened alligator appetizer is a brilliant start and the gumbo is the stuff of memories . I am so thankful that our Granddaughter brought us to this superior part of the LSU life. I can hardly wait to return.

Yelp
Went here last night for dinner. It was ok. Service was slow. Food was not really hot when it was served. We asked for plates for our appetizers and by the time we received them our food was cold. I asked for no green onions on both my fries and catfish. As you can see from the pictures, that was ignored. The flavor of the food was good. No complaints on the flavors. Just wish the food was warmer and service quicker.

Yelp
Was in town traveling on work and had a group dinner here. It was a beautiful night so we were able to sit upstairs on the patio. The location has a lot of seating. The music was a little bit loud, but that tends to go with the atmosphere. We had, several appetizers and all were tasty. Our group especially liked the grilled alligator. I ordered the catfish with crawfish etouffee. It was a lot but it was soooo tasty. Our server was prompt and attentive to our group.

Maria L.

Yelp
Look, for a college bar with an extensive menu I was pretty worried. It's legit feet off LSU's campus so I wasn't expecting much. But I was surprised. Our servers were fun, attentive and totally on top of it. I may have been starving...but my Alfredo chicken pasta was kinda bomb.

Victoria B.

Yelp
Upon my return to The Chimes at LSU, I had the pleasure of indulging in the delectable Blackened Alligator appetizer, which was just as satisfying as the first time. The horseradish dip added an extra layer of flavor. For my entrée, I opted for the Spring Salad with Blackened Chicken, which was cooked flawlessly. While the Pepper Jelly Dressing was unremarkable, the Ranch dressing proved to be a better choice. My companion savored the BBQ Shrimp Poboy, served with perfectly cooked shrimp and a tasty BBQ sauce for dipping. Overall, The Chimes at LSU once again delivered an exceptional dining experience.

Stephanie T.

Yelp
There are multiple locations of The Chimes in LA. I went to the 3357 Highland Rd Baton Rouge, LA location. My friends and I were in Baton Rouge for a friends' wedding and we were staying at The Cook Hotel and Conference Center at LSU. On a Saturday afternoon, we were seated upstairs at the open-air bar and patio. It was very spacious and you can glance over to LSU's campus. The tables had umbrellas so that protected us from the sun. There was no LSU game that day so it was mostly just groups hanging out. There were so many options on the menu - South Louisiana Cuisine, Cajun & Creole dishes, Seafood entrees, Po Boys, Hamburgers and so much more. We ordered a small duck and sausage gumbo, BBQ shrimp poboy, and large crawfish etouffee. The food came out quickly and it tasted delicious. Service was wonderful. We had a great time here and were very full.

Throwitindabag A.

Yelp
Food was great, service was awesome Must try: bread pudding (with vanilla ice cream) and spinach, and artichoke dip. The BEST!

Jane S.

Yelp
Shrimp po boy was great and service was attentive. After dinner, we went upstairs to enjoy the view.

Melissa R.

Yelp
My brother took me here to eat because he's always had good food here. I definitely agree, the food was amazing! There was tons of seating and a fun vibe, all the employees seemed happy. We sat outside out the roof, and it was even better than inside. My bro & I had the biscuits and fried chicken and it was delicious. I ate every bite. We did have to send my brothers plate back because it had a hair. We asked for it to be re-plated but they remade the entire meal. Due to this, we were done our food when my brother finally got his. That was a bit annoying. If not for that I totally would've given 5 stars.

Yelp
I went to chimes on a Saturday (LSU game day!) with a few friends. The restaurant was packed and the food was pretty good! My beer was skunked which sucked & i was charged for a new one. I got the white chocolate bread pudding and the Mac and cheese. Both were decent - not the best I've ever had but pretty delicious. The service was really good for how busy the restaurant was. It also had a nice vibe - the interior was spacious and well decorated. The rooftop bar was cool too. The biggest problem was my skunked beer. I ordered a Budweiser on tap and it tasted terrible. I asked our waiter for a new one (because this one tasted bad) and he brought me a bottle instead. I was expecting this to be comped because the beer was bad but it wasn't. Maybe I should've been a bit more clear. However - be careful about the beers on tap, it can be hit or miss.

Destyni G.

Yelp
My first time being here, first time in Baton Rouge. The food was pretty good, however, the fried gator was a bit too salty. I will say that management took the item off my check with no issues. My server, I can't remember his name, was absolutely wonderful. He allowed us to sample the soup before we decided which one we wanted, he made sure we had everything we needed. I had questions about the menu and he was very honest, which I respect a lot. Drinks were good but a little pricey. My favorite item of all was the crawfish fries and red beans and rice. They were so so good!

Susie G.

Yelp
Seeking to provide me with a taste of Louisiana experience, my Louisiana friends to me to lunch at Chimes so I could eat a Po' Boy. Apparently for the authentic experience, the sandwich needs to be made on a certain type of bread, and Chimes uses the proper bread. It's a type of French bread made with less flour and more water, lighter and fluffier than traditional French bread. I ordered the Shrimp Po' Boy. If you order it "dressed," it comes with mayonnaise, ketchup, pickles, lettuce and tomato. I asked for mine with only lettuce added. The bread was indeed lovely, just slightly crisp on the outside and very soft (but not mushy) on the inside. The shrimp was lightly breaded and very tasty. The sandwich came with a side of fries, which were delicious. Chimes is located just outside the LSU campus and is a preferred location on game days. On this midweek day in July the atmosphere was energized but fairly subdued. Service was quick and polite.

Saynara W.

Yelp
Service was awesome sat at the bar the bartender were very attentive to our needs and the food was incredible just what I was looking for while taking a mini vacy in Baton Rouge!!!!

Jennifer D.

Yelp
I was lucky enough to visit the Chimes for brunch in July. I can't imagine even getting in here when LSU is in session...it must be filled on game days! Definitely Get here early for brunch though. I arrived a little bit before 10:30 and there were already ten people ahead of us in line. It was a nice enough day to sit on the roof deck. Lots of shade and plenty of big a%* fans to help you stay cool. All of their brunch cocktails are served in a pint glass...amazing. I had the club omelet which was chock full of ham, bacon, and two kinds of cheese. The stars were the cheese grits and biscuit. I am so sad I couldn't finish my grits! Such lovely and attentive service. Hope to get back here soon!

Jade C.

Yelp
Came here for a work lunch. My first time here. 12pm on a Tuesday and the lunch hour was jumping. The restaurant is spacious where you can sit outside, inside lower level, upstairs or at the bar. We sat at the bar. Bartender attended to use quickly with menus and drink request taken. My colleagues ordered crawfish fries and they cleaned the plate. I ordered a catfish po-boy dressed and fried hard. Food came out fresh. I was unable to finish all my fries and half of my sandwich. It was perfectly dressed. Not too much lettuce or mayo or tomatoes or pickles or mayo. Really enjoyed it. Brought it home and ate it for dinner

Chelsey C.

Yelp
Chimes is such a college vibe, but it's also absolutely delicious! For starters you are missing out if you don't get the spinach and artichoke dip. Not only is the dip absolutely delicious it comes with fried bow tie pasta noodles as the "chip" to dip the food in! The blackened alligator, and boudin are also delicious! My favorite unique item at Chimes is the boudin omelet! So good. But their poboys and sandwiches are delicious. The bbq shrimp is also not bad! the restaurant can be loud and always busy, but it's a great time. They also renovated the restaurant a few years back so it's got more of a modern feel now.

Danny M.

Yelp
The food was outstanding had the bbq shrimp poboy. Our waiter was very nice and always checking on us. You can it inside which looked nice or outside on the rooftop which is relaxing and a nice view of the college.

Emily D.

Yelp
As a new resident of Baton Rouge, I was told that The Chimes is a staple. It's proximity to LSU's North Gate entrance had me thinking that this would be a typical college bar that was dingy and divey. No - this place is FANTASTIC! Most people probably go to The Chimes for lunch or to watch a game, but their weekend brunch is absolutely stellar (especially the cheese grits - definitely a whole lot of love and butter goes into those). The brunch menu is small, but everything is very tasty. If you're into having a little booze with your brunch, their three specials (Irish coffee, Bloody Mary, and Mimosa) do not disappoint in taste or size (all served in an imperial pint glass). If it's a nice day- definitely sit on the rooftop patio! While I have also enjoyed this restaurant for lunch, what will bring me back over and over is brunch...come hungry and leave super satisfied!

Betty P.

Yelp
Delicious!!! We were spending the weekend In Baton Rouge and we're excited to foodie it out. We chose Chimes because their menu has something for everything including my 11yr old. We went all out. Boudin egg rolls, fried alligator, gumbo and jambalaya. The servers actually bring you samples of the gumbo before completing the order just to make sure you like it which I appreciated. There have been plenty of times where I've been adventurous eating a different type of food and instantly regretted it. Everything was so delicious. Even my daughter liked the alligator. What was the best part to me was the price and I think that's because I'm from California and there is no way if we ordered as much food as we did we would leave with a bill less than 100 dollars which we did. Two appetizers, a soup and three entres. Such a great deal. The only issue we had was your going to have to wait to eat. This restaurant is across from LSU so it is such a busy area but the food will Definitely be worth the wait.

Jerrod S.

Yelp
Alligator, gumbo, etoufee, and all the craft beers you can handle. Love the service, flavor heavy foods, and it's definitely the taste of the LSU TIGERS.

Wayne L.

Yelp
The Chimes is a MUST visit. A Very Impressive place, with a diverse crowd. AMAZING FOOD, GREAT SERVICE, GREAT ATMOSPHERE! I had two servers (it was shift change when I got there, and it was seamless), they were both great. My main server was also training someone and she still did an amazing job. They have a TON of beer on tap and many others . Full Bar with knowledgeable staff. The menu is perfect, not too big, plenty of local and traditional options. FOOD WAS GREAT... Thank you to everyone who made my experience there Great!

Claire C.

Yelp
Came here for lunch and a couple drinks before a football game!! We showed up without a reservation and had to wait half an hour or so because they were very busy. It wasn't bad though - we were able to wait on the outdoor patio bar and have a couple drinks while they got our table ready. The ambiance was cool! I love going to college towns and there was definitely a strong LSU student presence there. Lots of partying and school spirit which was fun to be around. I got a Caesar salad with chicken which was pretty good. One of my friends got a beer that was completely flat. When he asked for another he was charged for a second, which was disappointing. Overall though this was a great spot to grab a bite to eat before heading over to the stadium.

Kirt T.

Yelp
Food was great! The sautéed crab fingers are my FAVORITE! Get you a lil bread to sob up that buttery mixture and shaaaa, c'est bien!!!

Celene R.

Yelp
We decided to dine here after visiting LSU for network. It was on a Friday around 7 pm in January. Upon walking there was about an hour wait. We were able to join the wait list, which you can see your remaining wait time on your phone through a link. While we waited I toured the place, the ambiance was vibrant. It can be a place for a nice dinner, celebrating a birthday or for just for a couple of beers. They did have a patio on the 2nd floor for more seating and mingling. Once we were seated, the service was great. The food was ok, it was my first time in Baton Rouge so I was expecting very flavorful food. And the Jambalaya rice did not disappoint. The Seafood Lasagna was very good as well. We had alligator bites and OMG their ranch, is from out of this world. Definitely recommend trying it. Also had the spinach dip and that was fair too, not a fan of the chips that it came with it though. We did order some other items, that I did not take a photo of. The Seafood Pasta, was mid; not a lot of flavor, it kind of tasted like watered down sauce. And the side of Mac & Cheese tasted a little off, like bananas. Either way, when we are back in the area we will most likely stop here again for other dishes. Enjoy :)

Susanna L.

Yelp
We stopped here per a friend's rec on our way through Baton Rouge and I'm so glad we did!! The shrimp etoufee was so well seasoned and the serving size was huge. The catfish was also so tender and the lemon seasoning was incredible. We chose Mac and cheese as the side for the platter and it was the best Mac I've had in a while (bbq places included). It wasn't super Melty velveeta cheese like some other places, but there was definitely enough cheese and the crust on top gives it a nice texture. Although it was busy, our server was attentive and we sat on the rooftop patio and watched the sunset with the nba tournament playing on TVs in the background

Miranda S.

Yelp
I really like coming to chimes for dinner and a drink with friends. I think their food is very good and their portions are pretty large. Their spinach dip is served with fried farfalle pasta chips and is so so good I find myself going back for just that. I also had the crawfish etouffee and was pleasantly surprised with how much crawfish theee was in it. Expect a pretty long wait on a Friday night before a home game but I think it's worth it for the vibe. I also love sitting on the rooftop!!

Caroline H.

Yelp
I was in town for a work conference, and desperately wanted Crawfish Étouffée. I had just gone to see Mike the Tiger and searched for food options nearby. Chimes came up, and I realized it was a 15-minute walk. The reviews were raving, so I was sold. I arrived 5 minutes prior to opening, and even though I was dining alone, I sat upstairs on the patio and enjoyed a beautiful, sunny day. The servers were friendly, the food was delicious, and the kitchen was fast. I imagine this place is absolutely lit on gamedays. Definitely recommend.

Tiffany S.

Yelp
Chimes East is significantly better. Nothing I ordered for delivery tastes even close to the same. Big nope

Amber H.

Yelp
Food was good. Service was ok. Manager and how she treated our situation absolutely HORRIBLE. We have a family of 6 and an infant. They tacked on 20% extra gratuities for our infant who did not even order a meal but had little pieces from our plates. When I confronted the situation our waitress had the manager (Abby) come out to tell us we needed to pay the extra gratuities regardless of her being an infant and not even ordering food for her. The main issue was how the manager handled this and her behavior towards the situation. Absolutely HORRIBLE!

Richard C.

Yelp
To start this review, food was great. The 1/2 ounce steak burger is really good, on the other hand the blackened chicken pasta is pretty bland and lacked flavor. Crawfish fries were good as well, extra crispy and very tasty. Huge wine and beer selection. Now for the bad part, the service was just ok nothing spectacular. Was hardly checked on and was asked for a pint of water instead of constantly asking for a refill. In addition my tables asked for spinach and artichoke dip and was told that they were fresh out, come to find out from another table with spinach and artichoke dip. Was asked for checks before asked for desert. The vibe is cool, it is definitely a large place and there is plenty of room for large parties. Overall a nice, good food restaurant, but not the best of service.

Vol F.

Yelp
We made a detour from traveling on the interstate to check out Chimes next to LSU. We ate delicious po boys at the rooftop outdoor dining. Fast service for a sit down and great college vibes.

Mia L.

Yelp
Always love this place. The food is amazing. The best restaurant in Baton Rouge. Cool atmosphere with a huge variety of beer. Great Cajun food! Highly recommend: gumbo, catfish, stuffed potato, hush puppies Atmosphere: 5 stars Food: 5 stars Variety: 5 stars Flavor: 5 stars Uniqueness: 5 stars Presentation: 5 stars Service: 3 stars Drink selection: 5 stars

Luz T.

Yelp
We ordered the blackened chicken alfredo. It was full of flavor. The chicken was juicy and the noodles were on point. I shared it with my hubby. The bread, was so soft and you can taste the butter.oh my. Came with a salad-delicious. Hubby never really eats a salad-he finished the salad. . Dessert-lemon blueberry ooey gooey-so warm and the ice cream on top. Oh my! Scotty took very good care of us. We will be back. Thanks.

John L. H.

Yelp
Chimes is a solid place to eat and it is located right off of LSU's campus. Look, I know a lot of people have fond memories of stumbling out of chimes throughout college. I am not that guy. Not that I have never consumed a bunch of drinks in a bar, I just haven't consumed a bunch of drinks in this specific bar. I want you to know that going in so you understand this is a food review, not an I got so lit that I took off my pants in 25-degree weather review. Now that we are clear, on to the review. I usually end up here for lunch but have eaten dinner here a few times as well. The menu is pretty vast although I usually stick with one of the salads. I would suggest the blackened shrimp as it is my favorite. There is also a fried crawfish salad that is good if you want a less healthy salad. In addition to salads, there are burgers, po-boys, and seafood. There is a reason that Chimes is so popular. Yes, they have an S-ton of different beers and booze but the food is the reason you should come here you heathen. Pro tip: Use the parking lot in the back. Street parking can suck.

Marissa W.

Yelp
The food was delicious. We stopped by in the middle of the afternoon and the service was excellent. We started with the crab stuffed mushrooms, then we ordered the etoufee, spring salad, and seafood pasta. We really enjoyed everything.

Brant H.

Yelp
Was visiting Baton Rouge after a family trip to New Orleans. A friend of my son recommended it as she was an LSU grad and frequented the place while she was there. Place was pretty cool inside with multiple levels, the woodwork, flags, and windows that were cool. The food menu had a good variety of options and everything we ordered was good. The beer menu was fantastic! I can see why this is a staple for college students. We only sampled a few of the local brews and they were good. The best part was our waiter, Coop! He was awesome. Just a laid back, have a beer with, type of guy. They were having issues with one of the kegs that my wife wanted a beer of and he kept coming over giving us updates. Finally he suggested a similar local beer and it was great. His whole attitude was just great. I'd recommend this place and if you can get Coop as a waiter then that would be a bonus!

Sadie E.

Yelp
The chimes is a great option if you find yourself on LSU's campus and need a place to eat. The spinach dip was a good appetizer, it was a little greasy but still tasted good. I got the grilled chicken caesar salad and it was huge. The grilled chicken was seasoned to perfection and the caesar dressing tasted delicious. Our food came out in a decent amount of time and was all nice and hot. We did have to wait for a table but only took ten minutes on a Friday night at 7:00pm.

Christie D.

Yelp
Another great meal at the Chimes! For appetizers, we ordered the boudin egg rolls and the fried mozzarella. This was my first time trying the boudin egg rolls and I absolutely loved them! They came with a sweet chili sauce that was delicious. If you like boudin, then you have to try these. The fried mozzarella balls were also very good as usual. The Chimes recently changed their menu taking off some things and adding new ones. I was shocked and sad to see that they removed the fried pickles from their menu. This was one of my favorite appetizers. Please bring them back! For entrees, we ordered the chicken fried chicken and a burger. As always, the burger and fries were great. The chicken fried chicken is a new item on their menu and it was outstanding. I'm glad it is now on their daily menu and not just a weekly special. The chicken fried chicken came with mac & cheese and bread. The chicken was very tender and fried perfectly. It was a little on the salty side but expected since it was fried. You do have the option to sub your side for something other than the mac & cheese and I'll definitely do that next time. I usually like the mac & cheese at the Chimes but this time it was just too greasy. It also didn't have much pasta underneath the top layer of cheese. Service was fast and the outdoor seating on the rooftop was nice and relaxing. Loved the mix of 2000s rock music playing during this visit. Fun times!

Libby E.

Yelp
The food was very good! We ordered the crab claws for our appetizer. Didn't have many at all. Not worth the price. My daughter and I had the red beans and rice. It was very spicy. Our meals Came with a salad. Only lettuce with a couple of tomatoes and croutons. My husband ordered the lunch special. He enjoyed his dish. We were seated at a booth which was very small. Better to ask for a table. The inside looked nice.

Zeva P.

Yelp
We were seated quickly and service was great. I was a little disappointed in my fish, not crisp and lacked seasoning.

Britton T.

Yelp
The food is amazing, the atmosphere is beautiful. You gotta try their Seafood Lasagna, its out of the world good. They have awesome service at the Lafayette location. If you want their best waiter ask for Quincy. He's so nice and he makes sure your order is perfect. If I could give 6 stars I would.

Taylor B.

Yelp
While on a work trip, we were provided the recommendation to grab dinner at The Chimes. The menu is fairly robust and has quite a lot of options. The restaurant feels like college bar than a restaurant. You can definitely tell this is a campus hang out our server was very friendly and helpful, providing several recommendations. We took him up on his appetizer recommendations and got the sautéed crab fingers and boudin egg rolls. Boudin egg rolls were decent, but especially with the sauce from the crab fingers. I think if I were to get the crab fingers again I'd get them fried. I got the NOLA bbq shrimp with a side salad for my entree. The salad was nearly as big as the shrimp plate, but very underwhelming with white lettuce. I was expecting the shrimp to be a bigger and with more spice. The fish was quite salty to me and had too much sauce. I also was not a fan of the fried grits it came with; unfortunately when I'd ordered I was told they were not able to substitute the grits for rice so I was stuck with them. All in all I can't say I would return to Chimes but I'm glad to have gotten the LSU experience under my belt

Michael L.

Yelp
Food was good. Portions were way to big. I can't believe I am saying that. But I couldn't eat it all. Even the drinks. Service was great. Plenty of room to spread out. Great place to bring a group for fun drinks and food.

Elenora B.

Yelp
I haven't been to Chimes in years, not because it's not good but because I always find it packed when I try to go. However, I finally was able to go during lunch on a weekday where it was not packed at all. I'm so glad that I got to go back because everything I got was super delicious. I was in the mood for a poboy so I ordered a classic fried shrimp poboy and it did not disappoint! The bread went perfectly with the fried shrimp as well as the amount of toppings they put on it. Their fries were super crispy and I enjoyed them so much. I also split a spinach dip with my friend and I can't lie that I was nervous about getting it. The last time I went, the pasta was super hard as if they hadn't been cooked all the way through, but this time they were perfect! I'm sad I missed out on chimes all these years but I'm excited to go back!

Hong-an T.

Yelp
I think that the staff was very friendly & helpful! The decor was very put together and clean but a bit cramped but the top patio was nicer! The food is good & I especially loved their spinach dip because of their unique chips! It's a great dish to share with friends! I ordered the blackened chicken pasta and it was really good but just a bit salty for my taste

Abraham W.

Yelp
Decided to be spontaneous and ordered a roast beef poboy, I'd never had one before. As I finish the meal, I felt an urge to write a review. The po boy is very fulfilling and simply-put, DELICIOUS. Thank you to whomever made this at the Highland Location. 10/10. Tempted to go back tomorrow to get a picture for Yelp. :)

Yelp
Had a nice early dinner here, I got the Caesar salad with chicken and my boyfriend got a bacon cheeseburger. We split the fried mozzarella as an app and that was my favorite item. They have 80 beers on draft plus a selection of cans and bottles for everyone's taste. Their rooftop bar is super cute too, we went up for another drink after our meal. Service was quick and friendly!

Yelp
Chimes has some of the best seafood in town. I had a small family birthday dinner here and the food was delicious. Everyone loved their entrees. This place can get really packed on the weekends so keep that in mind. If there is a wait it will be worth it. I can't wait to return in the near future.

Yelp
The food was great, and love the settings. The place was surprisingly packed for lunch. Will be back if in the area again.

Yelp
Food was amazing. The beer selections are out of this world with amazement. Parking can be tough but was fairly priced, and huge portions.
