The Chop Bar

I recently had the pleasure of dining at TheChop Bar it was an unforgettable experience! As a first-time visitor, I was excited to explore the flavors of African cuisine, and this restaurant did not disappoint. I had the pleasure of eating Jollof rice. The staff were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, guiding me through the menu and making excellent recommendations. Their passion for the cuisine was evident, and it added to the overall experience.

The Chop Bar is a true gem in the Hagerstown area! The menu is full of bold, comforting flavors, and the cocktails are top-notch. Whether you're there mid-day for lunch or in the evening at their lounge, the atmosphere hits that perfect balance between laid-back and unforgettable. From management to staff, everyone makes you feel genuinely welcome.

I went there about 2 weeks ago for the first time and was blown away by the food. Plus the waitress was patient and helpful when it came to deciding my meal. Shrimp tacos might be the best in the Washington county area

I don’t understand how their license hasn’t been suspended yet! I live in the neighborhood (Rosewood Village), and I barely sleep on weekends because of the loud music coming from this establishment, as late as 3am! I don’t know what kind of license they have, but they have no right to violate their neighbors rights. I’ll be making follow up calls to the county because this nonsense needs to stop. Edited on 08/24: Another crowded night in a residential neighborhood, and a shooting happened at the bar at around 2a.m. I don't understand how this business has been operating like this. They county needs to shut it down.

Such a beautiful establishment. Amazing vibes, amazing food, excellent service! 10/10 recommend. Nice place to go for a cute date or a night/day out with with friends!

Took my wife out for a date night and had a great time. Food was awesome & the vibes were too. Will be back soon

If I could give this bar 10 stars I would! Their food HITS just like the music. The manager is so kind and makes sure you’re good on all ends. They are VERY generous with the alcohol in the beverages. It’s always a vibe every time I step in to chop bar! Such a great addition to the Hagerstown area, always special guests coming on the weekend! If you want a great vibe stop at THE CHOP! Best bar in town!

This place is very professional & fun! i love coming here to eat & drink after working hard or even just coming to enjoy sports! The DJ will have u vibing come check them out!
