"Located in Pittsburgh’s historic St. John the Baptist Church, a deconsecrated but still beautifully ornate building, The Church Brew Works has turned a former holy sanctuary into a hip brewery, only giving shelter to brewdogs. Originally built in 1902, St. John the Baptist Church had a long and storied history as a house of God. The church was created to minister to the growing population of workers who were flocking to the city looking to fill the industrial jobs that were springing up in the early 20th century. The large church was built with a lovely stained-glass rose window set above the massive chapel. During the Depression the church provided food and shelter to starving families and later on acted as a shelter for victims of a massive flood in the area. Unfortunately as the once booming local economy began to go into decline, the population quickly began to dip as well, leaving the church with fewer and fewer parishioners each year. By 1993, the church was deconsecrated and abandoned. However the beautiful building did not sit idle for long. In 1996 the Church Works Brewery moved into the space after performing extensive renovations. They turned the cavernous chapel room into a spacious beer hall where customers could line the pews for a few draughts. The brewery eventually grew enough to start selling their grog wholesale and have been voted as one of Pittsburgh’s finest breweries." - ATLAS_OBSCURA

Google
Very unique place to go! They have a great selection of beer (even though I don't drink beer). The food was good. We honestly came here because it was a unique place to eat. The incorporation of the brewery within the church was a creative idea.

Google
Our waiter was amazing, we had 3 kids with us and he was so kind, quick and caring. The food was amazing I got the Mac and cheese with the brussel sprouts. Probably the best food I’ve had in a while, so much flavor. Atmosphere is very fun and large area. Not crowded but we went around noon on a Friday. I would highly recommend this place. Parking is in the back.

Google
Very cool use of an old church, loved the vibe! Menu was very eclectic (no real theme of any kind). There were nine of us, service was good and pretty quick-they were heading into dinner rush on a Friday night. The portions were about right. However, none of us were overly impressed with anything we got. It was all okay, nothing bad, just nothing I'd go out of my way for. Great vibe though, I'd probably go back and get apps and a beer.

Google
Cool space...definitely something different. A church converted into a brewery is very unique...to say the least. They even kept the stain-glass windows! Lots of space inside...tables and bar seating. It was very empty around 5pm on a Sunday. The staff said they usually get much busier when the local teams are playing. Great selection of beer and some interesting food options. I was only there briefly for a beer ($7ish) and some meatballs ($13ish) but they were both good. The hostess and the bartender were very nice. I would love to return to try some other things. Prices were reasonable. I believe there are also some happy hours specials so you may want to check those out. Lots of street parking on the main road in front.

Google
Really cool spot. I think I'm a bit spoiled on craft beer. But I'd like a more cloudy more dank IPA. The church is amazing though. Lots of light and the feeling of being in this antiquated place reimagined to be the opposite of church. Just fun, libations for even one.

Google
This is a fun spot with a super cool vibe in an old church. The interior is really incredible and I love how they kept the stained glass windows and original woodwork. We came just for a beer before a dinner reservation and found the menu to have a lot of options. The servers all seemed annoyed to be there and super short when they talked to you which I think was the whole vibe and I kind of loved it. The beer and tap systems seemed to be working out great so overall, I definitely recommend stopping for a drink.

Google
Hold onto your socks! This place is going to blow them right off. The ambiance of this church is top tier. I didn’t even want to blink. The ladies room also blew me away. I thought I was just going to walk straight into a bathroom only to find it a long hallway with seats. I even caught sight of an outside seating area.

Bob Cat

Google
Second time eating here, I was excited to visit again and was happily satisfied as always. The Sweet & Smokey Chicken Sandwich was perfectly prepared and paired well with a Thunderhop. Excellent experience all around.

Yelp
This brewery was fantastic! I'm so glad we made it a stop on our trip to Pittsburgh. We each tried a different beer, and each were delicious. I also had my first-ever pierogi here, and it was delicious! Our waiter, whose name I wish I could remember, was incredibly friendly and helpful with our orders. He gave great recommendations and was genuinely kind and upbeat- a true sign of excellent customer service. Now talk about location! This totally looks like a converted church. So cool! Lots of space inside and even has a bar area to sit, or you can get seated at a table. I definitely want to come back if I'm ever in Pittsburgh again.

Yelp
This is such a unique place. An old church converted into a restaurant and brewery. They sold mini kegs of beer too which was really cool. I am guessing they held about 8 beers. It was close to October so I got the most German inspired dish because they were setting up for Octoberfest. I started out with cauliflower with a beer mustard. Very unique and really good. After that I went with brat Mac and cheese. Creamy with pieces of onion and bacon. Great dish.

Roge S.

Yelp
This is certainly a unique venue. I've never been anywhere like this. There's no doubt from the moment you walk in (let alone the exterior) that you are in a church, or at least a former church. I got there right at dusk, so I didn't quite get that sunlight thru the stainglass windows, but The first impression is awe inspring. I had a beer and steak, and I thought the steak was delicious. It had all these interesting veggies mixed into the sauce. I'm getting hungry just thinking about it now. And there's a bunch of beers to choose from, obviously. If you are visiting Pittsburgh, as I was, make this one of your stops. Totally worth it.

Anna L.

Yelp
Loveeeeeee this place! It's such a cool vibe to see a old church restored into a brewery. The food is always absolutely delicious and taste like home cooking. The best seven onion French onion soup Pittsburgh has to offer, bar food without the guilt. The waiters are always so nice and attentive here.

Yelp
This place is so cool! The food is absolutely delicious as I had the traditional Pittsburgh salad and the beer is tasty. My kids even had a blast and the atmosphere can't be beat.

Becca H.

Yelp
One star for the ambiance and the uniqueness of this place. The beer is absolutely awful. I got a flight and not a single beer was good. I can typically power through beers im not a big fan of but not here. This spot was recommended to me so we stopped. It's a super cool concept but a shame the beer is so bad. We didn't have any food but the folks next to us said theirs wasn't good. There's a lot of potential for this place. I'd suggest getting a cocktail if you venture here.

Kate H.

Yelp
Cool venue. Loved that it's a great place to meet friends and actually be able to hear them. Very colorful and fun. Our server was extremely friendly and attentive. The weak link is the food. Underseasoned and unremarkable. We had heard this about the restaurant so we ordered pierogies and a cheesesteak thinking it would be hard to mess those up. Neither dish had enough salt. The cheesesteak was dry and the onions with the pierogies were undercooked. We got the full flight of beers and liked 5 of the 9-- which is pretty good. My favorite was the mango. Really fun evening. Come for the fellowship and the brews. Hopefully the food will get better.

Humphrey F.

Yelp
Final visit to this restaurant before leaving Pittsburgh with an indulgent dinner. I will definitely miss their cheesy German mac and cheese after leaving here, which is the best mac and cheese I have ever had. Their new shrimp margherita pasta is also top notch. For the dessert, my favourite is the creamy tiramisu, which has an unparalleled taste among all and much better than the brownie Sundae.

Diane G.

Yelp
Beautiful venue with awesome Oktoberfest brew and the food is well done. Yummy cheesesteak!

Debb W.

Yelp
This place is amazing. First, it's in an old 100+ year old church complete with stained and is it beautiful! Next the service was excellent. We tried a couple of featured beers, Mango Citrus Lager and Thunderhop. The Nine Onion Soup was Fantastic! Got the beet and goat cheese salad which was also very good. My friend got the meatloaf, yes meatloaf at a nice restaurant. It was rich and delicious. Highly recommend!!

Steve R.

Yelp
The inside and outside of this place are awesome. I only had the traditional perogies to eat and they were wonderful. I had 2 beers. Their IPA which was just ok and their watermelon sour which was quite possibly one of the worst sours I have ever had. I'm not sure if I would go back because the bartender was so abrasive. She wasn't quite rude but she was by no means pleasant. We definitely felt like a bother to her. Our other issue was the beers that really sounded good were sold out. I really wish yelp did half stars because this would actually be 2.5

Julie Anna E.

Yelp
This place was unique! It was definitely cool to check out. My mom and aunt are visiting Pittsburgh and they have heard of this place from other family members. We've lived in Pittsburgh and have never checked it out. Personally, my German Mac & Cheese was good. I had chicken added to it for $5.50 so I thought the prices were really steep. My dish cost about $25. There were lots of menu items over $25 and some in the $30 range- which is really pricey for a brewery. The portions aren't very big for some items- my Fiancé's cheesesteak was tiny and he was still hungry after. It was more of a sandwich The wait was really long between drinks & getting food. The wait for our meal was almost a whole hour! Luckily we had out of town visitors with lots to chat about. It was a really cool novelty spot and great to check out once, but wouldn't make it a regular go-to. The bread pudding was also one of the worst I've ever had. Super dry and hard. I didn't want dessert but everyone at the table got it and nobody finished it or wanted to take it home

Robin P.

Yelp
Fun spot if you are in Pittsburgh! I got the pitchers and the buffalo cauliflower. Both were great!

Faye K.

Yelp
Such a cool place! They turned a church into a brewery. It felt kind of weird drinking beer at first....at church but eventually you get used to it. The workers are super friendly here and the food is really good! But I wasn't a huge fan of their beer but everyone else in the table liked them. They don't have a parking lot but there is lots of place to street park. When you visit here, try their perogies!

Barrett O.

Yelp
This place is wicked cool! I went with friends and family here after a play and was blown away with the gorgeous venue, food, service, and of course beer!! We arrived at this Italian architectural style church that was built 121 years ago, St. John the Baptist Church that now a brewery, you heard right :-) As for the venue it's a former Catholic Church that has been desanctified as a result of diocese consolidation. They have done a truly inspired job of preserving and incorporating the architecture and interior into the restaurant/brewery that is creative, welcoming and almost breathtaking. It's so cool how they've incorporated the organ, pews, pulpit, stain-glass and I sincerely doubt that there's any brewery in our part of the world can compare to this, it's a must visit destination. AMEN! (check out names on expansive stain glass) We were warmly greeted and seated right away and presently with an expansive menu that did represent Pittsburgh nicely but some unexpected items as well. Like Shrimp and Grits, Jambalaya, Lobster & Shrimp Mac n Cheese, and BBQ Ribs, surprising indeed. But I had been jonesing for Pittsburgh traditional pierogies and that's exactly how I started our meal with an order of pierogies, potato and cheese served with sauteed onions, melted butter, and sour cream that were perfectly prepared and delicious. Another appetizer was the Spinach, Feta & Smoked Gouda Dip that's Served warm with tortilla chips, also good. For my entree I had the German Mac n Cheese that's sliced bratwurst, red onions and crumbled bacon sauteed with cavatappi pasta and finished with a swiss and smoked gouda cheese sauce with braised chicken. It was rediculously delish and I wanted more!! They have a nice menu of specialty cocktails but seriously, let's talk beer. Like many breweries they have different beers all the time but on my visit they were: Mad Brewer Maibock Bock, Ambrosia Ale, Celestial Gold Pilsner, ThunderHop, Blackberry Quadzilla Belgian Millennium Trippel, Mexicali Blues Lager, and Saaz Monster. I went with the Pious Monk Dunkel, a German style brew that was smooth and tasty and even took some home, back to the Gulf Coast, with me :-) Yes, they do have beer to go, you'll see the big cooler of beer to go near the exit with six packs and mini kegs, cool. Don't forget to and so fun cool merch, too. They do take reservations and if you want it delivered you can order through their website for Uber or Doordash, but probably not the beer. They are open seven days a week with various hours. Bottom line: Gorgeous atmosphere, great service (shout out to Sarah), good food, and, beer at expected pricing that makes for an overall excellent experience. Highly recommended!!! https://churchbrew.com/ https://www.facebook.com/Churchbrewworks/

Yelp
Stopped in for a quick visit and the food/beer was excellent. I was debating between the Buffalo Chicken Pierogie Saute and the German Mac and Cheese. Settled on the former and it was absolutely incredible. Ended up being a lot more food than I anticipated. I need to get back here to try the German Mac soon. I also want to try their meatloaf and chicken and biscuits! Thunderhop IPA was spot on delicious. My son got a kids meal $7.95 and soda $3.50 which looked weak. Server should have charged less for the soda based on the kids menu but didn't. Wasn't worth bringing up over a buck or two but if you have a lot of kids there keep watch. It's probably best to skip the kids entree altogether at that price point and find an appetizer or something that is more legit.

Stacey M.

Yelp
What a disaster Waitress forgot our order order messed up and brought us wrong thing On a positive note. Roasted cauliflower and chicken spetzel stew was good

Darius J.

Yelp
So I had a few things here. The lobster macaroni and cheese was fine. I would not order it again at that price when there are so many other better things to try. The Buffalo pierogies were out of this world. One of the best things I've had on the road. The brownie and ice cream dessert was passable. The beer selections were great. The French onion soup was lackluster Service was also good. Would love to return!

Vicky F.

Yelp
I had a very complicated feeling about drinking at the church it's like an angel and an evil at the shoulder anyway it's a good choice of beer, chicken wing haven't been cooked enough and service too slow (I was around 5 pm)

Lindsey H.

Yelp
Really wanted to like this place. Unfortunately, the food did now wow us. Ordered the crab cake sandwich along with the vodka seafood special over pasta. The pasta tasted like it was sitting for a while. The beers were ok. The venue itself is really cool. I would definitely return for a drink. Our service was good too.

Andrew L.

Yelp
Came here around 6 on a Friday evening. There was a decent sized crowd, but plenty of tables available and a few seats at the bar Given all the breweries out there today it is tough to come up with a truly unique concept, but this location absolutely nails it. Part of me wishes they'd lean into it more and go for something like a holy water IPA, but I get that this concept could turn some people off as disrespectful and feel like they did a great job of making their location approachable for all Since this will probably be my only visit, I wanted to try a variety of their beers. Instead of flights they have separate 5oz taster pours for all of their beers, allowing you to make a flight as big or small as you'd like if you want to go that route. Compared to other breweries their menu is on the medium/shorter side, but hit a wide variety of styles. I enjoyed all 5 beers that I tried, but the black IPA was a clear favorite for me Their food menu was unquestionably the largest of any brewery I've ever been to. They have a mish mash of German, Eastern European, and American dishes, often with some kind of twist on them. I went for the meat loaf, by brewery food standards it's as good as you can ask for and a pretty reasonable price Overall I think this brewery checks off all the boxes for what I'd look for in either a go to local spot, or a place to visit when coming in from out of town. Highly recommend and think it's worth going out of your way for when in Pittsburgh!

Briana N.

Yelp
Super cool and different type of restaurant/bar. They brew lots of different beers in house and have it displayed on the old church altar! There was one small tv by the smaller bar, so if you're looking to watch a game or something I'd go somewhere else. We were a party of 6 and had a reservation and got sat right away. The food was pretty good. The menu had a wide range of options and some of the meals were very good and others were just okay. All the beer was good! Our server was very friendly but had a lot of tables so sometimes we had to wait a bit to order something. Def a cool spot to checkout, but not much around it either. A good spot to grab some locally brewed beers and a yummy appetizer with a cool background for pics!

Mackenzie M.

Yelp
Really cool place to have a beer. The beer I got (an IPA) was very tasty. Don't bother ordering food...

Ali M.

Yelp
A unique spot that worked well for our large group. They had some good beer, other alcoholic, and nonalcoholic options. I really enjoyed the pierogis and I think all of us enjoyed our meals. The service wasn't the most warm but it seems like a large space to cover so it's understandable!

Owen R.

Yelp
Finally a good reason to visit a church!!! Terrific brewery Nice job converting it into something enjoyable! Pittsburgh... great city!!!

Jim M.

Yelp
Great atmosphere but I had the crab cakes which were described as lump crab meat. It was far from that having why too much filler stuff. It had good taste but cannot be named ad lump crab especially at that price. My wife had the pork chop and they hammered the cook.

Ulyana K.

Yelp
This place is undoubtedly known for its awesome ambiance. I mean, after all, how many restaurants in the area are inside a majestic former church? However, the ambiance is not the only great thing about this place. The food is pretty good as well. I tried their pulled pork sandwich with fries and the bread pudding. The pulled pork sandwich was surprisingly good and came in a great portion for just $9. The pork was cooked well and not too fatty. A little bit of sweetness, and not too greasy either. The bottom bun soaked up some of the grease but it still tasted really good and never got overly soggy. And it came with a mountain of fries as well! They were a little limp, not that crispy. But, not bad either. It's more quantity of quality when it came to the fries. There was also a decently good pickle with the sandwich which brought some freshness. The bread pudding was not as soft as I would have liked, but still pretty good. Chunks of apples and a little bit of raisins. Not overly sweet. The caramel is what really brought the flavor and sweetness. A little expensive too. All in all, the food here is pretty good. Yes, it's known for the church setting, but don't think the ambiance is all there is to this spot. Sandwiches are a good deal, although other entrees are expensive and probably not worth it.

Alyssa R.

Yelp
We went for a birthday for some family members. We went on a Sunday and was sat at the head table on the pedestal in the front of the church. Our server was definitely very nervous since there was probably 11 of us. We ordered drinks and I got a espresso Martini and after a margarita. The Marg was very strong which was great. We got the pretzels, dip, and chorizo meatballs. All was amazing. We did have to order bear cheese separately for the pretzel. I got the jambalaya which wasn't a traditional jambalaya but it was very good(not very spicy). We did get charged a fee to bring a cake in but that's okay, totally understandable. Overall a good experience!

John B.

Yelp
Such a shame, this place could have been so cool. 1. The manager or whoever the guy at the front door was, complete atitude and just set off the tone for the entire evening. 2. The waitress, friendly, but just not efficient, never checked in, just kinda eh. 3. the food is downright gross, half heated half cold egg noodles, it honestly felt a bit like something youd feed a dog, and that's saying something. 4. the ambiance, this is the reason for 2 stars and not 1, it's a brewery, in a church, super super cool. I wish It was better as I had been looking forward to it... id skip.

Joanne B.

Yelp
Food was great, service was excellent. Really interesting location, having grown up Catholic it was a strange feeling sitting in a church, eating! But it was a pretty cool experience.

Tiffany M.

Yelp
So happy I made my way here on my visit to Pitt. Of course I got the pierogis! They were fantastic and a happy hour dish! Great place!

Shawn B.

Yelp
So to start with the building. Just wow! 1908 church and then school. Beautiful. Let's talk about the meteorite they dip In their beer In ( see pic ). Quirky stuff. My buddy had a couple of beers from their expansive tanks. We had the arancini of the week. ( meat lovers ) - pepperoni sausage ham. Drool. They were small but powerful My buddy had the cheese steak. I am sorry KOBE beef cheese steak sandwich. I had immediate food envy. I had a great presentation of shrimp, sauce and Gouda cake grits. Very very good. But I still wanted my buddy's cheese steak. Amazing Will return

Kelly P.

Yelp
Gorgeous place!! We walked in and I gasped! Good food, good service! I got the roasted beet salad and the special appetizer- arancini - which was comforting and tasty.

Rob B.

Yelp
What's not to love about a brewery that has a great beer selection, excellent pierogi and is in a super cool building that was once a church? The last time I visited the service was super slow and we almost walked out due to the time we were seated to the time the waitress showed up at our table, but the waitress was great. I just think they were short staffed the day we visited. I love the building, the location, the beer and the atmosphere. The food is great here and the beer is too, but they could have done better in regards to the service the last time I visited. I'll see you again soon enough and I expect better service the next time. Sláinte!

Steven H.

Yelp
The best part of this place is the atmosphere. It's a large beer hall in a former church building, reminiscent of those found in Germany. I'm not into beer, so I can't comment on their house brews, though other people seemed to enjoy them. I stopped for lunch with a coworker and ordered the pulled pork sandwich and the Brussel sprouts as an appetizer. The pulled pork sandwich was disappointing. The pork lacked flavor and the meat was congealed into a uniform mass, reminding me of something that would be served in a school cafeteria. On the other hand, the brussel sprouts were surprisingly good and somewhat redeemed the meal. The service was friendly, but particularly fast for how empty the place was on a Friday afternoon. They are only open for lunch hours on Friday. Overall, I was not impressed with the food, but the atmosphere is quite impressive. This would be a nice plan to hang out with friends and coworkers if you're looking to socialize and not worried about the food quality.

Samantha L.

Yelp
Great beer, great food, friendly staff, unique space - this is one of my favorite places to take people when they're visiting Pittsburgh! I almost always get the pierogies and Buffalo cauliflower to eat but like to switch up the drinks! Aside from beer, I've had some really good cocktails here as well. I tried the spiked apple cider recently which is served hot and really hit the spot on a cold Pittsburgh night. Bonus: Church Brew Works was featured on an episode of Ghost Hunters last year - highly recommend watching if you're into that sort of thing

Carolyn Ann K.

Yelp
This restaurant was the best meal we had on our trip to Pittsburgh! The service was amazing as well as the food. The ambiance was so inviting and warm. I recommend the chicken jambalaya, the flavor was delicious! Highly recommend this gorgeous, delicious and superb restaurant and brewery!!

Lauren G.

Yelp
Good selection of beers on tap and a beautiful space with the old church set up. I didn't eat- however the food looked delicious and the bartender was attentive. Would go back to try the pierogis!

Mike M.

Yelp
The beer is super basic all around. Their German style beers are probably their wheelhouse. Atmosphere is always unique...I've been many times for a quick beer stop when in area. Tonight a group of us sat down for dinner. The seven onion soup was amazing...depth of flavors in broth. The chicken sandwich was very very standard in quality despite the unique advertised maple mustard. The fries were borderline soggy. It's one of those stops where a family dinner or special occasion it would be a fun place. There are just too many spots in that stretch more desirable for food and beverage

Daniel A.

Yelp
Church Brew Works is a unique and charming brewpub located in a renovated church in Pittsburgh. The ambiance alone is worth a visit - the high ceilings, stained glass windows, and rustic decor make for a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. Be sure to look around and read the plaques and pictures on the walls But it's not just the ambiance that draws people to Church Brew Works - the food and drinks are equally impressive. They offer a wide range of craft beers brewed right behind the bar in the church. One standout dish is the meatloaf. It's a hearty and comforting dish, perfect for a chilly Pittsburgh evening. The meatloaf itself is flavorful and well-seasoned, and it's served with a side of roasted potatoes and broccoli that tie the whole dish together. But the meatloaf is just one of many delicious options on the menu. The pierogies are a must-try. And of course, you can't go wrong with any of the beers - they're all expertly crafted and pair perfectly with the food. I really enjoyed the Irish Strong Ale.

Isabel H.

Yelp
I saw Church Brew Works on a list of restaurants to visit while in Pittsburgh, and I was very much intrigued by the idea of a restaurant being inside of an old church. This is a great place to go if you want chill vibes and comfort food. We started off with the Arancini as the appetizer, and it was so delicious and hot. The texture was incredible! I had the traditional pierogies as my main dish, as I wasn't super hungry, and they were delicious. I did end up asking for some of the sauce on top of the arancini to eat with the pierogies, which I felt added a lot. By themselves, the pierogies were a bit plain. I had the pomegranate mule as my drink, which was very refreshing! I found the inscription on the glasses hilarious! Overall, I feel like this is a place to go if you want some thing more low-key. The service is on the slower side, but the vibes are great and the food is delicious.

Yelp
This place knows how to brew beer. We sat there for a few hours trying different beers and each one was really good. They have a large range of beers, so if you like something other than IPA's you'll be happy. Most breweries these days seem to focus on IPA's and it was nice to have more choices to explore.

Yelp
Super cool concept but the food was very sub par. Service was friendly and prompt, which was kind of expected seeing as how there were only 4-5 other tables in the entire place. It was way too quiet. No background music other than a small tv behind the bar.

Yelp
Yummy food! We shared fries, pierogis, wings, and the spinach dip. The wings were phenomenal! Try the Southern dry rub. The restaurant also has an extensive mocktail menu. Our waitress was friendly and knowledgeable. Church Brew Works has the coolest looking interior because it used to be a church. It's a fun place to bring guests from out of town.

Yelp
We stopped by Church Brew and it's a really cool spot. The beautiful church and stained glass is worth a visit by itself. The menu is relatively large, with plenty of entrees, appetizers and sandwiches. We started with pierogis and they were yummy! I continued with a pulled pork and sweet potato fries and they were also decent. Service was good and prices were reasonable. My beers were solid but not spectacular. Overall, Church Brew Works has decent foot and beer in a cool and unique setting.

Yelp
Great selection of their crafted beers and a fun menu to accompany the beer list. They also offered a seasonal menu with great options during Oktoberfest. A parking lot is available behind the church/brewery for customers as well as street parking in front of the brewery. The dining area provides a really unique atmosphere unlike any other brewery most have visited. One downside is that I can imagine it would be extremely loud if the place is packed. My boyfriend and I attended on a Wednesday afternoon and ordered the cheesesteak and pulled pork with French fries. Both of our meals were delicious and filling! There's also no limit to the number of beers you want to try in a flight; however, the cost of the beer samples in the flight fluctuate per beer type. Our bill for our two meals and 9 flight samples was approximately $60 with tip. I would absolutely recommend this location to locals and tourists, and plan on visiting again in the near future.

Yelp
I went into this experience completely blind, I had no idea what to expect and was pleasantly surprised! You pull up to park and it's impossible to not notice the big, ornate church that'll be your dining hall! Open the heavy doors and step on in, the interior is pretty cool! The owners found great ways to reuse the existing church spaces and furniture which made it a really cool experience. I don't drink, but my friends do! Most got house beers and one got some take on a Moscow Mule that had elderberry syrup in it. Everyone loves their drinks, I think it would be worth checking out for that reason alone. But the part I loved most, of course, was the food!! we went for one of the cauliflower appetizers. I can't remember which one exactly, but it wasn't the Buffalo one. We loved it, it was almost like poutine cauliflower! We also got the pierogi & onion app and it was super tasty, just not seasoned enough for me. For dinner I had the shrimp & grits which was nothing like what I was expecting and DELISH. I would 1000% recommend. The shrimp were cooked perfectly, the grits cakes were sooo yummy. Everyone else loved their food too, we had the bolognese, meatloaf, cheesesteak and German mac n cheese and we all crushed our plates. That, to me, says a lot. We all had different dishes and they were all fantastic.

Yelp
This place is fantastic! Went out of my way to just be able to hop in and experience it. So glad I did. Super cool and like no other brewery I have been to. Highly recommend!
